Hello, I need to make CSV exports of a table that contains several long text field cells. Each long text field contains text with carriage returns, which results on the csv as actual breaklines, which is makes it quite tedious to fix manually. Apart from NOT using any breaklines within the long text filed, (which wouldn’t be the ideal solution as we need the information contained in the field to be nicely readable and not showing as a big block), would there be another way to prevent that issue? :pray: :pleading_face: I know the topic has been raised already but unfortuantely I could not find a satisfying answer to that yet. Hi everybodyWe just upgraded to the Airtable Business account and recently updated our Airtable connection in Zapier from one user's personal access token to another user. Now all the Zaps using Airtable have stopped working - and have an error message that the Airtable connection is expired.I've tried reconnecting the airtable account several times, and each connection says expired.When you sign into Airtable through Zapier, there are a few new options... I've selected the organization option as this makes the most sense for us. No luck - it always shows as an expired connection. Any advice??

Hi guys.I was working at the optical shop, where I set up the entire Airtable for any form of tracking our customers such as dioptries, eyewear they chose, and complex calculation so you can add the info right in front of th customers and tell them the final price. The table also got own portfolio for eyewear and its own price and specification. It was great but the only thing I struggled with was changing the price of the product (in portfolio) that was sold and reordered by me again with the higher price. If I wanted to change original price (in portfolio), it will be changed in all of customers that purchased specific product. My question: Is it possible to somehow change the price without adding the same product with a different price? for example lock the record so it does not change or any other options ?

I've figured out how to create a formula that outputs a date that Airtable understands as a date (rather than a string of data) and have it appear on a calendar BUT is there a way to be able to drag said  item across the calendar so the dates change automatically? (as you would if you if you were just using calendar dates entries)

Hey,When sending my metadata in media platforms (such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Teams etc.) I see the metadata and thumbnail of Airtable.com company (attaching a photo). Is there a way to customize it so when I share my airtable URL people will see a different metadata?Thanks

Hi there - I'm creating interfaces for different external users, but some of my field names make more sense internally than externally. I'd like the field names in the interface to be different than what they are in the base. For example, my base has a field called "Load Description HTML", but I'd like that same field to be called "Contains which product?" in the interface. This would be similar to how Form Views allow you to change the field names so they make more sense in the form.Does anyone know if/how this is possible?Thanks,Kelsey

Is it possible to embed a jotform into a website that uses url parameters from airtable? I use automations in airtable to send emails and with links to jotforms, but I want to be able to embed these forms into a webpage, but keep the url parameters from airtbale. Is this possible?

I want to use the “send an email once a record is created” automation tool, yet I want it to from an alias account connected to my g-suit account. For example- once a user is registered to my website I create a record containing all his info. then I want to automate an email welcoming him to our service, yet I want the mail to be sent from an alias account (info@…com) and not my personal address (for example- david@…com). Airtable allows me to connect my g-suite account (david@…com), but the alias account (info@…com) cannot be connected (because there is no actual account). Any suggestions on how to set an auto-reply from my alias account?

Hello, I am looking for a way to calculate a date minus x days based on a date field. Hey y’all, Starting to dip my toes into Airtable Automations which are pretty neat, but worried about long term maintainability if I am to lean on them more heavily. Do you all know of any ways to report errors within Airtable itself? Or is it better to wrap all scripts in a try catch & report to an external error service like Sentry?

Is it possible to set a table to sync from an Excel Sheet?  I know I can import data, and I know I can setup Bases to sync, but I'm looking to set up a Table to pull data from an Excel sheet and keep up to date with those changes.

An automation is failing with the following error:"field "ID" cannot accept the provided value: cannot modify a computed field" The automation is supposed to create a new record in table "grants", when the "proposal" form is filled in. However, the automation fails to create an ID in the "ID" field in the "grants" table.  What is strange about this error is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why. Looking forward to your response.

We have two bases, a UAT and a Prod base.  Changes are made to the UAT base, and once approved, we sync to the Prod base.  We notice that the records themselves sync over, but they are not in the same order.  Are we missing something or is this a limitation of sync?

I am trying to create a table that is linked to a Box folder where I have hundreds of folders inside the root folder. Those folders contain other sub-folders and tens of thousands of files. (Root Folder>Folder>sub-folders/files). I don't want all the (sub)folders and files to be synched to my table, just the folders. In other words, I want all the information to live inside of box and just have a button/link to click to open the folder where the (sub)folders and files reside. There doesn't seem to be a way to just have the folders synched without it trying to synch all the (sub)folders and files. Needless to say, it quickly hits the 10,000 record limit. Howevere, all the folders I actually want to see are included within the synched table. I can create a filter to weed out the sub-folders and files, but I don't want that information just hanging around burning up records (counting towards my record limit). I hope all that makes sense. Hi all, is it possible to run the “Sync now” command which synchronizes the records from the source base through a script? I would like to create an automation that has a webhook as its trigger and this script as an action. This is because I have a scenario on Integromat which sometimes fails as it does not find the record that has not yet been synchronized (despite there is a 5 minute “sleep” module). We recently encountered an issue where a user ad hoc added options to a multi select field that should not have been there.Is there any way to lock down available field options so a user is not able to add them in?
