Hi! I am trying to add stacking and when i add the notes in it doesn't save the information I need. How do i fix this?

Hello, has anyone experienced this issue as of now on October 6, 2023?I usually copy and paste leads from our sheets to Airtable to directly upload leads for our campaign. However, at 5am ET, I couldn't even copy and paste a single row into our database.Is there a solution for this? I noticed announcements stating that Airtable is performing database upgrades today, so I suspect that might be the reason. However, I'm not sure if this is happening only on my end.I would appreciate hearing from others as well.

Today the "Expand the table" feature stopped working for me. I see it's happened to others in the past. I'm using the work-around of creating enough empty records in the destination table before I paste, but that's only feasible for small datasets. If there's a way to automatically create a specified number of empty records, that would be helpful, too.I don't think mismatched structure between origin and destination tables is the problem, as I had always been able to paste records into a mismatched view when I wasn't paying attention.Has Airtable has ever addressed why this happens? It would be great to be able to fix it, as my business process is heavily dependent on this feature.

I’m probably missing something, but how do I get the current day of the year? For instance, we have WEEKNUM(TODAY()), but not DAYNUM(TODAY())? I can do year(today()), and week(today() but when I do day(today()) it shows the day of the month and not the year. Thanks! Example: Jan 1st 2021 is day 1, etc.

I have several views that show the icons without the words - it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out how to put them back, or how they got this way in the first place.Please send help! And please also don't ever make me have to deal with that truly circular, frustrating and unhelpful bot on the help bubble.

Hello everyody,I have 2 tables with date column.When record is created in Table 1, I want to find all the records in Table 2 where the date is the same.For this case i need to use a condtion with dynamic date field, I found out I can do it with a string field using the gear icon and choosing 'dynamic' instead of 'static', though I couldnt find this icon when conditioning date field.Is this function unavailable, or am I missing anything? is there a different way to do so? 

I created my own Extension under "Build an extension". I've released these extension command using block add-remote , block run and block release. It working fine in that base, but I want these extension in my other bases. Is it possible to access by other bases?How and where the released Extension is findable?

I have a base with two tables. One table is contacts while another is companies. For my contacts, I have a field called location which is a series of metros: NY, SF, DC, London, etc...I'd like my companies' table location field to have the same list of locations. Is there a way to reuse the field, but not have them link to one another?(I dont anticipate wanting to ever connect a contact to a company, and if i do it would be with different data than what i have in my contacts records anyway)

Hi all,I have a table, called my Sync table, that I link whatever I need into several different tables. I want to add long-text columns to my Sync table and then hyperlink the fields. I then want to lookup those fields in all of the different tables that I'm syncing into. However, when I've tried to do this I've noticed that only the text is transferred to the Lookup field in the new table, but the text is not hyperlinked. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks!

Hi!Just wondering if there is another way to use "does not contain" condition in automations.For example.. I have one field (named Country) with all countries. And then I have three different emails.If the person is from Slovenia, they get email in slovene (condition: if the country contains: "Slovenia")if the person is from Croatia, they get in croatian (condition: if the country contains: "Croatia")if the person is from anywhere else (conditions: if the country does not contain: "Croatia", AND  if the country does not contain: "Slovenia")So in the last example I have to use two different conditions.. is there a way to use both countries in only one condition?Thanks!

I want to use timelines to keep track of, and plan things that happen to our garden beds at work - weather that is ammendments, planting, seeding, etc. Currently, each event - e.g. seeding of carrots, or application of lime is it's own record. When multiple things happen at once, against each bed, the timeline view is unwieldy to navigate. EG here I can only see 2 out of 60 beds at onceAll related events are grouped by a unique code. I can use another table, that connects all records with the same code into a single record, and timeline view that. Hi! I'm looking for a way to combine multiple Sync'd Table Views into a single Table.  I feel like this should be relatively easy, but i'm not thinking about the solution properly. I'll explain belowI have 3 Project Teams, and each team has their own AirTable Base for tracking their staff, and a bunch of fields relevant to that.I have a Studio Leadership Base, that has all 3 of these Projects syncing a view upwards so Leadership can see everything combined and create more holistic studio reports.The Leadership Base looks like this:Combined Studio Table   /     Project 1 Sync   / Project 2 Sync   / Project 3 Sync   /I'm a little stumped how to take Project 1, 2, and 3 tables and have all of that information appear in a single view in the Combined Studio Tablethanks in advance!  

Okay so I am fairly new to automations with Airtable. I am needing to create emails that are triggered by a certain time for reminder notices and I need/want there to be an actual attachment within the email of the PDF Notice. I will even settle for an image of the notice within the body. I cannot seem to figure this out. Is there a way to do this? The picture shows where I get lost as to what it wants so maybe someone can make it make sense.

Hey gangs - curious if anyone has come across this situation and found a solution. I'm working with a table that will contain all of the contacts for a business. These contacts have relationships to each other. We want to keep track of the people and who their clients are AND do the reverse - keep track of who represents the clients, which we've created two separate linked fields within the table (Clients field & Representatives field). What I want to do is set up an automation that automatically updates these linked fields when one is updated for the related records. Here is an example:Sally is a individual and Chuck represents her. When I add Chuck to the Representatives field for Sally's record, I want the automation to add Sally to the Clients field for Chuck's record so they stay up to date. I want to eliminate the need to update both records when a change needs to be made.Would love any help!

Hello again,I am trying to puzzle out the best way to know if a member of an organization has lapsed in their membership dues and when they were due.I have a payment table with records of each payment by members with the date of the payments. I want to list members who have not paid in 12 months since last payment and, list them as lapsed in the renew column.Added problem. The table lists all payments over time. So each member could have many entries of payments in the table. I only want to test on the latest payment per member. Yikes!Anyone have any thoughts on this?Thanks in advance, Scott

this is really irritating. i'm trying to report a bug but the freaking chatbot wants to send me here...anyway:there seems to be a bug: if you access an airtable interface with an account that doesn't have edit permissions and you press ALT + 1 (the shortcut to enter edit mode) airtable throws an error...which looks like buggy behavior to me.you're welcome.  

Hi there,I would like to organise the data based upon each individual user in the linked lookup field on the right hand side. When grouping the data it groups all of the looked up fields together. Is there a way of sorting the data to be per every individual linked user. So each user has a set of this data.Any help would be greatly appreciated,Bart

Hi,My problem is I have a team of 3 including me, and I created 3 tables, the problem is when I update the other table for my other team it change the 3 tables including mine and theirs. Anyone can help me here? pls pls pls

We would like to create a calendar view, which looks like this:We have the rooms on the left, the date on the top. If there are reservations, we would see the reservations in the specific line for the room.Any ideas? Thanks a lot!Tobi 

Hi all,I am running into an issue with a new table I have created in my primary base.I want to copy a single record from Table 1 to Table 3 and the record has 15 fields.When I copy the record from Table 1, it says '15 cells copied'.When I paste the record in Table 3, I get a dialogue box saying "Do you want to expand this table?To fit your pasted data into the table, we need to add 11 more fields."When I select 'Expand the table so that all of the pasted cells will fit.' then click continue, nothing happens.Nothing gets pasted, no fields are created, nothing.I tried clearing cache, doing this on the app rather than the website, deleting the table and creating a new one, using other records and nothing is working. Is this a known bug?I created a blank table with 15 fields

When I paste more cells into a table than it has, the expand table message comes up. I click ok and nothing happens. Happening in all bases in my account... JL

I have an automation that sends an email out after a form is submitted. It was working fine when I created it. I turned it off a few days ago to do some testing. When I tried to turn it back on today it wont go on. I keep getting a red triangle with a ! in it next to the automation name.I tried to recreate the automation which did not work either. I then took away the email step and I was able to turn on the automation. With it turned on I added the email step back and now the automation will not let me update. I click update and within 5 seconds the bar asking me to update is back.

I have an automation set up to send personalized emails to a set of records with a When a record matches conditions trigger. One of the conditions is that the value in the Email Date field is today. This automation has run reliably in the past, but now it's showing an alert symbol in the Automations sidebar and it immediately turns off when I turn it on.All tests were successful. Any ideas?
