I cannot decide if I'm better off with an automation or else I'm just not meant to do if else formulas. I need to first check if a date field is not blank. If it is not blank, then I want to compare it with another date field. If it's later than other date field I want to show 'launch date moved out'. I know this formula is not comparing but it's what I ended up with (and it's not working)IF({Original Launch Date} & "-"THEN {Launch Date}>{Original Launch Date},'Launch Delayed')

Hi all! I have a base in which we create and track educational programs that we put together. I have a date and time field that shows when the program starts, and a date field that shows when the program ends. Some of our programs are mutli session or span throughout a long period of weeks. For example, a program may have 3 sessions on non-consecutive days, let's say 9/22, 9/25 and 9/27 (9/27 being the end date) and each runs from 9am-2pm. Sometimes the times are different for each of the sessions too.I want to show that each one of those sessions are from 9am-2pm but the start date field will only show 9am. I can't use the end date field to show that it ends at 2pm if the time is different for each session. Is there a way to easily show a range of time? (i.e 9/22 from 9am-2pm)

I have tried to build an automation from instantly to Airtable. I want to make dashboards for campaign data. My problem is:I want the fields in the (Data_Handling) table to update automatically, when data is updated via an API in the Instantly combined table. I have created the record IDs because i thought it would make it like working in excel in a way. But i vant seem to figure out why i cant make the update record function work in the automation. Hi,I am trying to create an automation where:If "Adviser 1 ranking" column has been updated as "Outstanding", then the "Adviser 1 rating" column will automatically have 5 stars appearing. Same goes to any update on "Adviser 2 Ranking" will update the "Adviser 2 rating", "Adviser 3 Ranking" with "Adviser 3 rating". In all 3 single select Adviser ranking fields, I have "Outstanding" (i.e. 5 stars), "Very good" (i.e., 4), "Good" (i.e.,3), "Poor" (i.e.,2), "Try Again" (i.e.,1).Could anyone please help out?Thanks! 🙂

Hi Airtable Community, I'm trying to understand the cost structure for Airtable licenses. Specifically, can a "read-only" user still submit product feedback through an integration? For example, a Customer Experience Agent who has a "read-only" set of permissions still submit product feedback through Zendesk to Airtable without being billed?

Hello,I would like to achieve the following.My trigger is "When record is created" and I would like to send a message to my Slack channel once a new record is recorded in my Airtable base. I’m tracking three variables for example Category, Price, Date. I want to be able to see the specific amount of times a specific category was created, for example, if G99 appeared in the Airtable base it would count 1, if G88 appeared it would count 1, if G99 appeared it would now count 2 and so on. However, I want the count to reset daily meaning everything would return to 0 after a 24h period.  I want the Slack display message to look something like this…“A sale was madeCategory: G99Price: 999.00Date: 9/19/2023Sales for current category: XX (with dynamically updating count)” Is it possible to configure a dynamically updating channel message to Slack? Using the "created_at" field, I need a new date field (due_date) that takes created_at and adds x number of days. It's easy to do this with a formula field, and I have that set up already.However, I also need the flexibility of being able to manually overwrite the due_date if necessary. Forumla fields can not be edited. How can I benefit from the efficiency of auto-calculating a due date + the flexibility of manually adjusting if necessary?Thanks!

Recently, we found that Date field has "Time Zone" option. Therefore, we set the time zone as "Asia/Seoul" of the date field and we got rid of another converted time field since it is not necessary any more. However, the problem occurs when we send an automated email using this date field. In the Airtable field, we put this value: 2023-01-10 10:00 KSTWhen we send an automation, the mail shows this: 2023-01-10 01:00 UTCDo we need to make another field which has the converted time to show correct time in Automation, or is there a way to show a correct time in Automation with the specified time zone in the field?

Context:I've encountered an issue in Airtable where an automation I've set up to group records in one table within a linked field of another table works correctly for records with unique primary field values (the leftmost field). However, for records with the same primary field value, it only groups and links the most recent record while unlinking the preexisting records with the same value. Here it goes...I have an email campaign table that I import email lists to from various led gen.I have a client intake table that I use to track when a client submits a proposal request and eventual becomes a client.Email is the unique client identifier across all tables.I need to search my client intake table to see if any of the 'email' field matches an 'email' in my campaign table.If it does I need to grab the 'status' from the client intake table and update the 'status' on my email campaign table.The reason I do not want to link the tables is I have a ton of records that do not need to be brought over from one table to the other. I just need to know if a client engages or status changes after I email them.

Hello everyone!I was curious about how I can go about autopopulating another table when a single select drop down item is selected. For example, I own a roofing company. My tables go from CLIENT to PROPOSALS to JOBS. Client is initial meeting (phone, e-mail, in-person etc.). Proposals are to create then send to said Client. And Jobs is after a job is won.What I would like to do is in my OPPORTUNITY column, when I choose CONTRACT SIGNED in the drop down menu, I would like it to autopopulate my JOBS table. Any help is appreciated!

Is it possible to limit the number of records syncing from one table to another?For example "Table A" has 15000 records and I want records 1-100 to populate "Table B", 100-200 in "Table C" etc.

Hello!  I've been working with Airtable for a year and have built lots of automations and formulas. I'm stuck though and hope someone can point me in the right direction! I've got a base with Table A and Table B. Table A is a list of todos which are linked to clients who are listed in Table B, so each client has multiple todos linked.Table B also has drop-down list of all of the stages that the client goes through.Table B's primary field is their unique client number. Table A therefore has a linked field with that identical number in it. Table A also has another field with the same unique client number.I am trying to write an automation which will do this:- When a record in Table A is marked "done" (or other trigger depending on the type of todo)- The drop down for that client in Table B is updated. This seems like it should be simple...- Create the trigger in Table A's Todo recor

I know that there is already an automation that allows for Airtable to send SMS to Twilio, however I am looking to put together something more advanced. I want to use Twilio Studio to create a flow that would remind clients of their appointments (the client's information comes from AirTable, the date/time, and numbers come for a table) I want it to call landlines or text cell numbers to ask if they want to meet remotely, in-person, or reschedule. then i want the responses to be recorded back into AirTable under the client. How can I set this up?

Over the past few weeks we made changes to our data. We have a main reference base where we link a number of tables from and after changing and deleting some information from that base, Airtable has been reallocating records (wrong ones) in every single linked table. Can anyone let me know how to resolve this? We have a table that has a list of organisation names that is synced to various tables. After we cleaned out that list, we realised that where Airtable would usually leave a linked record blank when something was deleted in the main reference list, it is replacing the deleted data with its own data (organisation names on the list

Hi everyone! Just a simple question (so simple that the bot did not manage to answer to it) from a real dummy. I just use Airtable to store personal data (no shared base, no third apps use): will the API keys deprecating affect the availability of my datas? Will it prevent me from sign in into my bases? When I type in the name of a task ticket in the Primary Field, is there a way to quickly confirm the name, exit the cell and make a new record?At the moment to do the behavior I'm asking about:-I make a new record, with the + or shift enter, enter in my name \ string, hit esc, then shift enter to make the next record.The desired behavior would be a hotkey or shortcut that combines the sequence Esc + Shift Enter.  Shift + Enter after string entry --while data entry in the cell is still active-- would be ideal to work with current new record behavior.

I have an automation that was working.  I turned it off once so it wouldn't trigger an email I didn't want to go out.  When I turned it back on (a minute later), it refreshes and turns back off.  There is a error sign next to the name of the automation, but when I test it or run the automation manually, everything works fine.  Any ideas?
