I would like to gain a better understanding of how the integration with Outlook works, specifically the aspect concerning the creation of new records upon receiving emails in the "Task" folder.I've set up an "Integration" that generates a new Task when an email is received in the "Task" folder. The integration seems to be functioning correctly, but I'm a bit puzzled about one thing. It appears that when I move a very recent email from the Inbox to the Task folder, the integration is triggered. However, if I move an email that's a few hours old from the Inbox to the Task folder, the integration seems to ignore it.Could someone explain the circumstances under which the integration is triggered? What specific conditions need to be met for the trigger to activate? This clarification would greatly assist me in using this feature effectively.Thank you for your assistance and support.

Our client uses Trybooking for their attendees when the purchase promotional material. There is currently no way to export the data CSV to Airtable except for downloading it manually. We have over 500 records that are going to come through - so manually downloading the CSV in Trybooking, and uploading the data into Airtable daily, is too time consuming.I have the API for the Trybooking event and it says it's able to be used to "extract your data to external sources.". Is there any way to get the data to be sent automatically to Airtable? Unfortunately, Zapier isn't an option. I'm a complete programming newbie. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

Work with print media plans and I have an Excel workbook I've used for years to calculate costs. There are many variables with cost calculations and I will stay with this workbook however I'd like to export the final costs for each publication at each page size for import to Airtable to automatically calculate the costs based on each buy. Most buys consist of two components. A full page ad and a small page that accompanies the ad for legalese. Attached is screen capture of my media planning table and costs table with how I am trying to map costs. Is what I'm trying to achieve possible and/or is there a better way? I tried searching for a solution first and could not locate a similar request so if you know of link to send me to that would be great. Thank you in advance. 

We are a land surveying firm with records for each project.  Each record contains latitude and longitude information so we can map the records for logistical purposes.  It would help us to know when we take a new job if we have done a previous job within a 1/2 mile or 2640 feet of the new record.  We could build off of our previous work.  Does any know of a solution for a problem like this using a zap or other app in conjunction with Airtable?  I have seen several posts about converting addresses into lat/longs or vice versa, but that does not solve my issue.  Appreciate any wisdom or guidance someone might provide.

What does it mean if a dependency is categorized as "Fields" (as opposed to View configurations, etc.)? What triggers that type of dependency?

Hello community I am having issues with a table of mine. I run a trucking company and have a table to calculate my estimated expenses down to a per mile bases. So I assign expenses and revenue to certain cells and it help generate my CPM. Although I am have an issue that is making things more time consuming. When I assign and revenue or expense to a cell it does not remove the item from the selected field of available expenses or revenue. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

This consists of multiple columns of data, but for this question only the client name is relevant.A table with all the individual tasks made up as rows. Hello. Currently I am using Airtable free version with Softr free version to run an webapplication. Now with the new pricing plan of Airtable, will I still be able to connect my Airtable base with my Softr application if I stay on the Airtable free version?

I am aware there is no way to "overwrite" data but I'm trying to figure out how else I might accomplish what I need.I have a very basic 2-table base.  Table 1 is "Call Log" and Table 2 is "Users".  I want to set up a default set of fields (location, type, job) that apply to specific people.  For example, "Bob" might default to Ohio, Office, Data Entry, whereas "Linda" might default to Kentucky, Warehouse, Stocking.  But as I do the weekly logs, their job scopes and locations might change.  If everything is added to the Call Log table from lookups (pulling the defaults) I know I can't directly edit them.  What would be a best-approach (I'm not against some scripting or automations either!) on handling when I maybe want to track that Bob is in Indiana and Linda is in Ohio.Thanks!

Hi All - I'm struggling with creating calculations on the base shown below. What I'm trying to do is calculate the % change in total enrollment growth by 1YR, 5YR and 10YR between Fall Years for each university (it would be a changing calculation with each new Fall Year record added for each university).While this is easy to do with a vlookup in Excel (i.e. matching University, Fall Year and Total Enrollment with Fall Year-1, Fall Year-5, Fall Year-10), I'm struggling with a finding solution here in Airtable.I'm feeling like it might require a linked Lookup table (or adding another field) to make it work. But just not sure how to go about it. Or, if it's even possible between records in Airtable. The numbers shown below for the % growth fields were imported from Excel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!&

Hello, I have created a sign-up form in Airtable for our nonprofit. When the form is submitted, I would like to have that email, first name/last name contact record added directly to a Google Group. Is there a way to do this directly from Airtable?I have found work arounds with Zapier and Make, but would prefer to do it directly.

The numbers in the body of the email are returning differently from what they are placed in the Base. It looks like a bug during conversion since the screen preview is correct !!! HII've got my slack automation working really well for notification, but the link to access the record goes to the last VIEW in the Table I use or the person used in Airtable I can't seem to get it to go to a specific view that has only specific fields showing for that record.How can I make this work so the reviewer doesn't have to go through all the fields that are not relevant to their task. 

Hi all, I need to filter the “link to another record” field depending on another field in my table. Example : I have a link to my “article base” in my invoice table : if I have “door” in my “department field”, I want that the link only show me the door article, means the “door view” of my article base. If it’s “tile” in my “department field”, I only want to see the “tile view”. I know I can half make it with the “limit to a view”, but it is not enough. I will have to create as much field as views, and it’s not really practical. Thanks for your feedback

My end goal is to associate the Slack ID of the user that submitted each record in my primary base.I currently have a 'User' column in my primary base that associates each record with an "owner". I'd like to be able for the record to automatically pull the Slack user ID for each User from a "Team Roster" table that holds the User and Slack information for each team member (or maybe there's a better way).The only way I have found to do it so far is to use a 'Lookup' column in the primary base that references the "Team Roster" instead of using a 'User' column which ties the record to their Airtable account. This is not my preferred method as the lookup column selection is not as clean as a User selection when team members are choosing the owner of a record.Primary Base: Team Roster Base:

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to get the statistics on API calls to a base? I’m building a no-code app with Bravo Studio and they’re not integrating analytics for the moment so I was wondering if I could track the Get requests made for specific records.

It seems like it should be a simple solution, but my brain is tired! I am using a rollup field to show the total discount so I can highlight it on a quote which I have made with page designer. If there is no discount ($0.00) I don't want it to show on the quote. So I am trying to figure out how to leave it blank when there is result is $0. I tried adding another field with a formula, but then I can't get a positive number to be in currency format, just a string. I tried doing an IF Aggregation formula but kept getting an error. I made sure that the source field (Amt Saved) does not return anything if the result is 0 hoping that would follow through to the rollup, but no luck. Can someone please help? 

I am attempting to make a Travel Sheet my Supervisors access through a Form view, that allows the selection of Employees (linked from our Employee Table) based on their current Employment Status (which is a dropdown selection on the other table). When I select the "Only include linked records from the Employees table that meet certain conditions" and have it to where: Employment - is - "Current Employee", however when the form is being previewed, the selection is pulling all employees, regardless if they're past or current. I have also tried the same conditioning filtering for Projects as well based on their "Status" as well, and it also doesn't work on filtering only what I want it to show. What am I doing incorrectly, as this seems like it should be a very basic and simple conditional request? Thank you for your time.
