I'm writing a script that will update my airtable dynamically with new tags that will sit in a multi-select field. I know that I can use { typecast: true } in my call to airtable, but I'm still getting an issue when updating it. Hello! I'm having trouble allowing our AirTable users to add a new option to a single-select field. Also, any changes that happen to that field break an interface where that field is included both in a grid and also as a filter option. The field is only letting me add new options -- I am the one who created the field/changed up the format of how it was. Not sure why that's happening, please let me know if you have any ideas on how fix it. 

Hi there!I want to automatically export data from Airtable and create online files separated by managers. The data in those files should refresh daily. These files could be in the form of a Google Sheets or Excel online file.Does anyone know of any tools or solutions for this task? We have over 50 managers, and doing this task manually consumes a lot of time.Am I the only one who needs this kind of workflow? 🙂

I am supposed to create an app in Power App. My data source is Airtable. Therefore I want to export the csv file from AIrtable to SharePoint or Excel Online automatically on daily basis. Kindly let me know whether this is possible and documentation related to this

I am new to Airtable and would like to know the best way to build the architecture around data and tables from you people who are more experienced Airtable users.More specifically I am building a Supplier database of approx. 100 suppliers. Each supplier have a unique ID as identifier. I would like to share this ID across tables, so that the records are linked to each other based on the ID.When creating a new record (supplier) in the main table, then I would like this record to be auto-created/displayed in the other tables (or than one can only add data for records that exists in the main table)My idea is that the main table is for the key supplier information and other tables are for grouping of data.Like tables for:Main tableContact informationPrice informationIntegration informationlogistics informationetc.What data architecture do you recommend or do you have a better proposal for how to build an intern

Does any know how to prevent my csv data from breaking when I transfer it from a csv export to my spreadsheet?Problem (CSV Export Bug): When I export the data, a piece of the notes column rolls over into a new row, resulting in additional rows that are unrelated to any record.Thank you in advance!

Hello Airtable communityLooking to you for help / direction with a problem a client of mine has. They are auctioneers, and use Airtable to manage their business, specifially to load properties and other assets onto Airtable, which displays on their public facing site via an <iframe>.The challenges he faces is that every time someone registers to bid on a property, they have to go through the registration process from A to Z. My clients wants a solution where their client registers an account on either Airtable or the Wordpress instance, so that they remain registered for all auctions. Secondly, they'd like to take payments on the site as a deposit for the auction. This is easily done with a simple Woocommerce install, but was wondering if something exists within Airtable to facilitate this payment.Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.Regards,Willi

It's important to emphasize that the key functionalities and features of this proposed template are primarily housed within the interface designers, relegating the base to a backend role.I am keen on making this template publicly accessible, and I wish to accentuate its interface-centric features prominently. Although I am considering the Airtable Universe as a potential platform to share this template since it seem the only spot for sharing "base" templates, I am uncertain if it is the ideal place given the significant interface-related features of my template.Could anyone suggest the optimal method to share this base and interface as a cohesive unit?Appreciate your insights!

this is the record for "test" in our Airtable - #1 = VD Formula (Formula field for date)#2 = Main Verse#3 = Teaching theme/topic This is the email template in the automation - This is the Generated test email - #1 shows up exactly like it's suppose to but, even though there are values in the Airtable record for #2 & #3 nothing is showing up in the test email. I have refreshed, I closed everything and reopened. I'm not sure what I'm missing.  

In my automation I have a trigger when a synced table from another base updates a {risk} field. Automation is currently like this: When a record is update (synced table - {risk} fieldFind record in project list table which matches the trigger record  Update record (airtable id from Find Record step) {Risk Type} (field in the project list table) with {Risk} value in the Synced table {risk} field. But I want to concatenate the values in {Risk Type} field.  Another words I want keep a previous value and add the new updated value.  {Risk} field in the synced table is a single select{Risk type} field in the project list is a multiple selectBoth have the same select valuesScenario: week 1: {Risk} field is set to PTO, result {Risk Type} is set to PTOWeek 2: {Risk} field is set to Scope, result {Risk Type} is set to PTO, Scope 

I have a 'Learn more' URL link on each card, but when I click on it, it opens up to an expanded intermediary page showing the same link information.  I have to click another time to go to the destined URL. Is there anyway I can bypass the intermediary page?  Please advise.  Thank you.

Hi everybody! I’m new here and learning everyday some new incredible capabilities of Airtable. I work for a not-for-profit organization and we often use Kobotools to collect data from our beneficiaries. Kobotools is an ODK based survey platform (kobotoolbox.org). In Kobotools there is a built in REST service and I was trying to connect a an airtable table to Kobo, in order to create a new record with the results of the surveys. But I’ve no expirence with API and I’m really struggling to understand if it is possible to do that and if yes, how I can realize that. Hi! I'm working on a project for collating legal contracts and their details. The contract covers different territories, so I need a good way to represent territory data in an airtable column.Our contracts sometimes combine different countries into different groupings such as 'Latin America' or 'Caribbean Islands', etc. While I don't need to get too granular, I would like to at least divide the territories based on Continent for easy data entry. Ideally selecting a continent will select all the countries in that continent as well. What I want essentially looks something like the below screenshot, but I am not sure if this can be implemented on Airtable directly or not.I wonder if I could integrate airtable with some other software? or add some extension? or if there is some creative script or formula that could implement this?Any advice is apprec

Hello,I have an automation that triggers on a schedule to send program information out to various recipients.  The configuration for the email is to send from the respective program manager's email address and reply to that same email address.  These are branded Gmail accounts and the configuration can be seen in the screenshot.I can tell that the configuration is correct in preview mode.  However, when the automation runs, the emails are sent from my email account, rather than the program managers'. Is there a way to fix this in Airtable? Gmail?

Ok... will try my best to explain and hopefully someone will get what I'm trying to do. I have a table where each record includes a long text description of an offer in one column and another column that links to a table of manufacturers. I would like to use automation to search the long text description for the name of a manufacturer from the manufacturer table, and then add the link to that manufacturer in the next column.Is it possible within AirTable? I also have a Make/Integromat pro account so can use that if necessary.

I got 3 tables:  As you can see on table Lectures i started matching Lectures with Trainings one-by-one. But the list is very long. Do you have any idea how to match Lecturers with trainings on one table?

We recently updated to the business plan to take advantage of the two way syncing between bases.  However, every time I try and update information in a field from the target base it gives me an error.  We are a custom closet company and utilize Air Table as our CRM.  Our designers each have their own bases that sync with our main base so they have access to all of their client's information and projects.  We saw that the two way syncing feature has been added for Business level plans and were hoping to eliminate alot of work arounds so our designers could update client information, contract totals etc.Can anyone help me or suggest a different way for them to update information?  We already utilize forms. Thanks!Amanda

Is there a way to identify how a field was created if it was not created by a person? There is a field that was created but can not identify how it was created. Not sure if a person created it or it was created through an automation erroneously. 

Hello everyone. I am using airtable as a database for participants in programs, and every time a student attends a program, we have to make a new record for them instead of being able to hold all the info in one line. The reason is because if I make the program field a multiple select drop down (which is linked to another sheet with program information), if I group by program, anyone who has multiple programs in their program field will not appear in the group. Is there a smart way around this? At the moment, when students have multiple entries we have a checkbox field for duplicate records. This is inefficient.
