Following the advice to have all info on one table and use views, I have successfully created a one table base for my law library. For views separating case law and articles, for example, is easy. I have a field in which I enter a letter according to the subject. eg for cases, enter C, for articles enter A. For a different project, I should also like to have a one table base, but am unable to work out how best to add records where each primary field record (the record in the primary field) and its different fields have numerous records in the same field. For example: Existing Setup: 2 tables. Table 1 and Table 2 In each table I have 3 fields including the primary field. In Table 1, this primary field is renamed Property Next field is Y, the next field is Z. In Table 2, the primary field is Date. Next field is Location, next field is Notes. Location field is linked to Y in Table 1. Add 5 records: In Table I in Y

I have two multiple select fields that I am joining into one field. The items are showing in reverse order. is there a way to show them in the order in which they are entered in the multiple select field?

I need a form where clients can enter there data and as many fotos as they want taken directly with the ipad. I see from the similar topics results that there is a feature request for conditional formatting - if that has been done, please mention how to find it, or if it is a paid option? I’m trying to create a column that flags members of a specific category and their expiration date. SO - ideally, top level members (let’s say Platinum), with an expiration date greater than TODAY, would show in red, or have a checkbox or something. With expiration dates less than TODAY, would have an X. The base currently contains a linked field for member category, and a field for expiration date. Suggestions on how to achieve the desired goal described above, either as formatting the record (or fields in the record) or by updating a flag field that has blanks, checks or Xs. Thoughts?

Hello, these are two screenshots, one from a web browser and the second from the mobile app. The problem is that there is a missing “Add order” on the mobile app.   

I couldn’t find anything specifically answering this and it may be a dumb question. Within our workspace we have a base that has tables for the various types of common data we use, and that data is synced to its respective databases for each department. The particular table I’m looking at contains common site locations  that are used across the board. These site locations are synced to each respective department. However, each department may have their own unique sites to add. Is it possible to keep the common sites synced and also give each department the ability to  add their own sites to that same table in their respective bases?

I have an interface for managing tasks with two pages. On the first page, I am using grouping and sorting, which works as intended… For the second page, I had tried to duplicate this same grouping and sorting… When I click away to the previous page, or when I publish the interface however, the sorting is preserved but not the grouping… How can I fix this issue so the interface preserves this grouping when after publishing?Thank you in advance!

Is there a way in interface designer to make a GRID VIEW that is GROUPED have certain fields that are auto collapsed? USE CASE: I have all my tasks grouped by Complete vs Incomplete, Then by “responsible party”. every time I open my project, I see ALL TASKS. I want to have access to quickly view what is completed which is why I don’t filter it out altogether. But I want it to show up with the completed tasks group being collapsed as a default.

I have an Invoice table. My automation setup is, when a record gets created, I run a script which calls an api (that api updates an Attachment field in the Invoice table) and then at last there is a Send Email action.For some reason, the send email action does not send any attachments. Although I could see the files are added successfully by the api. Here I add attachment field from the trigger response.I think, Send Email step is referring to the older values,  present during the start of the automation. Now what works is, if I add an Update Record step in between Run Script and Send Email, and update some random field and then in Send Email refer the attachment field from Update Record action.Just wanted to know if this is the expected behavior or not

Hi all !I'm making an automation in order to create pdf  with Make and google doc. All works fine except the import of all "single select" fields... the pdf stay empty in final. My question is : does the "single select" fields are considered as text field or not ? 

Hello everyone,I have a Google Sheet with multiple tabs, including one main tab called DATA which is updated at regular intervals. The other tabs in the sheet rely on this DATA tab using IMPORTRANGE and other formulas, so I can’t isolate or split it into a separate sheet.My goal is to sync the DATA tab into Airtable, ideally in near real-time, so changes in Google Sheets reflect automatically in Airtable.The problem I’m facing is: Airtable’s direct import only works with single tab Google Sheet. I cannot split or isolate the DATA tab into a new file, as it will break all dependent tabs using formulas. Has anyone successfully set up a sync in this kind of setup? I am trying to create a list of members who have not made a booking yet.  I have two table; Members and Bookings.  The relationship is one to many i.e. the Bookings table can have many records from one member.  I want to create a view or table which shows me which members don’t have a booking.  We can then contact them and find out why they have signed up and not used the service.

I find dark mode uncomfortable and want to change it on the community area i.e. these pages.  Cant see anything under settings

I am trying to use Airtable, Make, and Documentero to pull data from multiple records in Airtable and place in a table in a Word document generated with Documentero. The table will have multiple rows and multiple columns. Each row will contain several fields from Airtable, each field with its own column. How do I format the template in Microsoft word and configure the fields in Make using the Documentero module?

I'm struggling to set up a two-way sync between two tables in the same Airtable base: Clients and Campaign Management.Here's the Setup: Clients Table: Contains a full list of clients and their program levels. Campaign Management Table: Used to track each client's active campaign status without cluttering the Clients table with extra columns. What I’m Trying to Achieve: When a client is marked as active on a specific campaign (e.g., Facebook) in the Clients table, that status should automatically appear in the Campaign Management table. I’m new to AirTable so forgive me if this has already been answered. Is it possible to create one form that will enter records into two different tables? I am making a form to enroll a student. The first 4 fields, Name, village, birth date will go into a table of students. The next 4 fields: semester, year, study group would go into another table as these would differ from year to year. I am trying to use a shared form to get our client’s current Mailing Address for stipend scholarship checks. They can get multiple checks over time so we want present their last Mailing Address and have them accept it with no changes or override with a new address.. My approach was to create a shared form where I can prefill the previous Mailing Address. It would be blank the first time or would show the last value if they had one stored where they can override it or just hit submit to accept what defaulted in the form.Because it is a shared form, anything submitted would be a new record. I was going to date stamp the new one and use it to update the master record. The issue I am having is I cannot prefill the Client ID (the key) into the form as read only (or at all) even when the prefilled link came from a record that had the key, the new record only has the data they submitted. I can't find a way to grab the unique identifiers to match what comes back from the form. A

Any page on automations, when switching between automation flows, or looking the history etc, it takes about 5 minutes for me to show.UPDATE:Sorry false alarm. Weird. I’m trying to rollup a text field within an AT interface. I’ve created a Lookup field which is correctly showing duplicate results. However, I want to rollup the duplicates so the result only shows once.Results of my look up are the following:Transactions Policy PolicyThe two “Policy” records are identical and I’d like to roll those up. I’ve tried the rollup up functions, but they seem to only work on values rather than text. 

Hi everyone,I'm encountering a data integrity issue when transferring a large set of records from Google Sheets into Airtable, and I’d really appreciate any advice. **Scenario:**  I maintain an a list in Google Sheets. The "Source URL" column contains rich-text hyperlinks — for example, display text like `Narrative Enneagram Resources` linking to `https://www.narrativeenneagram.org/resources/`.**Issue:**  When I click the link, it shows an error because the URL has become http://narrative%20enneagram%20resources/ instead of the correct URL When I try to bring this data into Airtable, the URLs get misconverted. I am using Documint to generate PDF from data stored in Airtable (via link). It was working without problems for more that a year but I recently have trobles to build PDF on first try. Still some data are missing. I checked with documint and all is fine on their site. While the situation is getting worse, I am adding one more field to generated document to dump all data received from Airtable - so I see, that lot of data is missing so Documint has not enough inputs to generate PDF. It usually take several tries to get what I need, but tonight even 50 is not enought. I asked Airtable support on 15Jun but no reply  - still (OK 3 emails that they are busy, but no solution). Is there any way to make Airtable properly prepare all data and send it to Documint? What is the problem after one year?

Hello, I have an airtable to track travel & accommodation requests for our company. I need to export information from a record into an editable template document to send travel information for approval, preferably in an excel template. I have been working on creating a document using the ‘documint’ extension but I’d prefer the flexibility to add additional information once it has been exported from airtable. Is there a way to export from airtable to an excel template? Or word, or another similar program?

I would like to take data from airtable to put on pdf template or a template to be emailed out eventually via zapier outlook intergration Which 3rd party company is the best to integrate with zapier and airtable.  Documint, Formstak, PDF Monkey etc? 

Hello to all, I have created a form to receive data, and when I submit the form, I redirect it to a documint url to generate a pdf file. (more info Document Generation Link - documint) All good so far, but I have not been able to pass a dynamic image to form the pdf, in the template variables in documint. Greetings and thanks
