I want to create rent payment schedule to send to someone after they sign leases for an apartment using the data that I have in airtable. The rent payable is typically the same price every month but sometime if they start not on the 1st of the month the 2nd month is pro-rated. Also a few times are free month rent is given so that month no rent is due. Always paid at lease signing is 1st month rent and one month security deposit. The 1st Month they will always pay the entire amount even if the lease doesn't start on the 1st. The 2nd month is always pro-rated if there is pro-rated rent. I was things about having each month as a column (Sept 2024, Oct 2024, nov 2024 etc) then we can use ai and formula to look up the start date, end date, rent amount to put the data below in a table to send out in an email in automation or I can set up via Zapier. In Zapier I can probably also set up this type of automation but

Oh, this one has me stuck!I have a table of 'Individuals' with an email address and a unique ID on one table, and on another 'Audit' table, I have audit line items with the linked ID. I would like to use a checkbox of 'publish' in the Individual tab to trigger an email that sends a table of relevant data to the right individual. Right now, I have a trigger or 'when records match' showing a few conditions including publish. then Find Records, then Repeat for each List of records, with a send email and appropriate grid in the email. Problem is, I can't convince the automation to sort these, so person A only get their results ,and Person B get theirs. It's a mash of results, not getting split per individual. Because the list of individuals will continue to grow, I can't create a view per individual.Can anyone see what I am missing here?

Hi! I'm trying to set up a conditional automation and the "Otherwise" condition is giving me an error.Trigger: A record enters a view. The view relies on the field {1 week} not being empty. The two possible values are "1 week late" and "2 weeks late" First condition:If {1 week} contains 1Condition 2 should be either:Otherwise, or1 week contains 2 (or equals "2 weeks late")I get success after the first condition but the second condition failsIt feels like i'm missing something obvious! Are the record's previous values available in the "when record is updated" trigger?  I'd like to be able to compare the previous values with the current values and act accordingly.  Does this require a code step instead?

I have a database with ages, I have grouped the ages into views and I want to shuffle each members a particular age into a group of five. For example: Ages 18-24, I want the members to be grouped by five members each and at the end of each month, the automation shuffle the members so the members are different for each month.

Hi,I am working with a list of contacts in my main spreadsheet. I am trying to update a specific information of many contacts simoutaneously. So I created a second table, where I want to input the name of the person, and this information (books received). I want to be able to add a list of people and books on this second table and add these books to the already received books on the main table.I was able to do part of the way, but I am having a problem with the Record ID after the Find record step. For some reason I only see the option of 'List of Airtable Record ID', which I think is why it is not working. It seems like a simple automation, but I can't go around it. Any suggestions?Thank you!

I'm trying to set up a paypal scenario in Make.com that adds new paypal transactions into my airtable table. When I try to set up the airtable connection, I use OAUTH type, and it asks for a a URI Redirect URL. I don't have a clue what to use here. When I google, it asks what site I want people to redirect to, but that doesn't help me much.Anyone able to advise?Thanks. 

I'm trying to use an automation in a base, but there's something wrong with my flow. And it may be that what I'd ultimately like to accomplish isn't possible. In Base 1, I have a single-select field named "Status" with various color-coded options as variables to select from. In Base 2, I have a duplicate of the fields in Base 1, but none of the data. My goal: When the single-select field Status is changed to a particular option (in this case, "Delivered"), the record is copied from Base 1 (Active) and duplicated in Base 2 (Archive). But the flow I have is definitely not correct. So, one, is this possible? And, two, does anyone know what I need to adjust in the automation flow? Thanks so much for your time!

My company exports a .csv file every week containing the current inventory of the same objects.  Each object has a count that may change week over week.  We copy this .csv into an airtable weekly.  I would like to capture the old counts from the prior week so that I can track the differences week over week.  How can I set up a scheduler to move the values from the "This Week's Apples" field to "Last Week's Apples" field automatically?

I'm based in the UK and we've had an integration working on a booking database for over a year which automates the creation of an Outlook event when a booking is made. No changes have been made to this automation but today the events which are in Airtable as dd/mm have started coming through as mm/dd. I'm really at a loss with this and what I need to be looking into.

Hey there,First of all thank you for your time and your help 😉I've made some pretty basic automation, when a record matches certain conditions, I trigger the action "send mail" (airtable default one). The field "To" is filled with a roundup type of field which has a formula "ARRAYUNIQUE(values)". It keeps the unique mails attached to the record.My issue is that it works 30% of the time. The failure to run is always caused by : "The "To" input is empty"Which is not, the field is never empty, it always has one or several mails. And it being not empty is a condition to trigger.I can't find what's common to success or common to failure.Any ideas ? 🙂  

I'm using a Repeatable Group with an Update Record inside to take a list of records from a Find Records action and update a field in the found records. When the list of records contains only one record the test runs successfully. When the list of records contains more than one record I get a received invalid input error. I think I know why this is happening.If I look at the Input table after a test I see Record ID listed there followed by a single record id if only one record was found. If more than one record is found then I see Record ID followed by multiple record ids separated by commas. If this is what is being presented to the Update Record action of course this will cause an error. If I'm reading the documentation correctly the input from the Repeatable Group should be a separate Record ID followed by a single record id for each record found rather than a single Record ID followed by multiple record ids. my kanban is a list of products with different stacks. I would like it so that when a product is moved from one stack to the other, the autmation sends a slack message as to what stack the product is currently moved to.How do I access the name of the stack? I clicked on the blue plus sign but nothing there relates to the stack name. Just the product details.

Hi,I have automated record selection and adding a fixed value to the existing values in a field. or example, adding a new category to the existing categories of a record. now I would like to have this fixed value as an entry from the user through a form or something else and then use the value in my automation. So the user enters the fixed value and selects the records he want to add the value to. How can I make this possible? Is there a dynamic variable that could record the input and use it in the automation?  Thanks

I have a table (Table #1) in which we keep upcoming events, along with their dates, topic, marketing content etc. I created a mirror table (Table #2) with the same fields. Table #2 has a form our staff uses when they need to update any of the events that are in Table #1 (existing records). I created an automation that when a form is submitted in table #2, it finds the records in table #1 that match the name of the program and then updates the existing record.Here's where I am stuck and wondering if there are solutions:1) Finding the records: My conditions are the name of the program and the date, but the issue is with the date. I need the dollar amounts on our automated emails to be automatically rounded to the nearest cent. The automated email is pulling these figures from fields in airtable that have formulas associated already, and they are set to round to the nearest cent/hundredth, however when they come through on the automated email suddenly they include an extra place value "thousandth," and do not provide thousands comma markers or dollar signs. I do not know how to combine a ROUND formula on top of the formulas that are already on the fields. Can someone help?

The automation looks for records in the Task Templates table under the Podcast View and duplicates those records in the Tasks table.The automation is creating extra records in the task table and I can't figure out why. There is no pattern to the extra records created. I am trying to get this to change the retention stage to month 2 when then 1st day in the field is one month ago?I have done this and whenever I am testing and changing the 1st day in the field to over a mo nth ago it does not even register the trigger on the automation history? Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?
