Hi Community!We have the employee information on our Airtable.Also, we have some forms that they can submit, for example leave requests or overtime requests.It would be nice that they can see their own records they submitted in the past but it would be anooying to create one interface for each employee.Using the thrid party like Stacker might be the best option but we are wondering if there is any best way that they can see their responses for just their own somehow.We have different bases for Emplyee information and Leave request form/record but they are connected. Thank you,

I recently came across Airtable. So, I decided to create a tutorial on how to Integrate the Airtable API in an Angular application. I hope this is helpful to anyone trying to utilize the API within an application. Here is the link to the video on how I put everything together to create an Email verification application.
We would appreciate help with this scenario - and we can pay if somebody can help us with it. We have several bases where we have e.g customer info. Sometimes we do a campaign where we send out a link to a form where we want the customer to get back to us with specific info. This works excellently. The design is basically Table #1 Customers Primary key Custom info #1 Custom info #2 Link to CustomerResponses Table #2 CustomerResponses Primary key Link to Customers Custom info #3 Form in Table #2 Link to customers (=shows the +Add button and all customers according to Primary Key) Custom info #3 Now, the problem. In order for this to work, in the form we need to show ALL the records. Hence our customers can view each other, which is not great. We would like to be able to SKIP the “Link to customers” (i.e. the +Add-button) and replace it with a unique link to the form instead where the unique link defines the primary key. Hence, each customer would only get a form with “Custom i
Hey all,While testing the OpenAI API and looking for use-cases with Airtable I put together this demo which creates a book summary AI for the items in your Amazon wishlist. What it does: - Imports your Amazon wishlist into Airtable (focus is on books for now) via Simplescraper- Summarizes, tags, categorizes and provides quotes for each book using OpenAICombined with an Airtable Interface it's a neat way to 'free' the items from your Amazon wishlist and make them a lot more searchable and organized. For example it's impossible to search for books by tag in Amazon, now it's easy.Here's the full guide and script: https://simplescraper.io/blog/how-build-ai-reading-assistant-amazon-wishlist/Books are just one example. The format can be used to enrich any data that's in Airtable with OpenAI, and the code can be re-used for your particular use-case.Hope you may find it interesting/useful.
Update (2022-02-11): The stylesheet is now designed to be used “out of the box” to restore the look of the original expanded record view. (Unfortunately, I’m working off my memory of what it looked like so it may not be an exact replica.) Here’s what it looks like by default: Or, if you prefer the new expanded record view design, you can select the “Current” preset and make some tweaks (below: column layout, zebra stripes, type-based field coloring, compact linked record view, expanded whitespace, variable field width): The code for the expanded record view has been completely overhauled. Due to the number of tweaks, instead of grouping rules by function, they’re now defined based on the view’s HTML structure. There may be some new bugs, but thanks to the new structure, changes will only affect the full expanded record view (and not the mini expanded record view in Timeline views, for example). Setting up Stylus: Install the addon/extension (Firefox) Stylus – Get this Extension fo
Good day community,Is it just me or I can't seem to load my Airtable bases? Thank you
Hi all!This has come up in a couple recent threads (and I was PMed on the topic) and I thought writing a summary collating all the information on this topic might be useful for future users.You (yes, you!) can automatically format Airtable data into shareable and saveable .ics files. This isn't sharing a whole calendar, but rather discrete events. It requires a fairly straightforward Make.com automation, a bit of text file editing, and a file hosting platform integrated with Make (I know Google Drive and Dropbox work). Here's the overall Make layoutTo start with you need to understand that a .ics file is just a plain text file formatted in a machine readable way. This blog post provides some specific instruction. In your desired Airtable base, you should make sure to have start time, end time, event title, event description, and an attachment field.Create a Make scenario tied to that Airtable base (you can pick how it triggers). Then add the "Compose a String" tool, pasting i
I FOUND SOMEONE - JOB IS CLOSED, THANKS!----I want to create a front end as airtable inteface. The only problem with the airtable interface is we can't share to external people and we have to pay per user.I tried using softr but it doesn't have same look and feel (maybe I don't know how to use it)
Hi you, 💚I had a question - why do Airtable bases need to be this visually unappealing? I know Airtable is loved for its functionality first, but I felt I could so something about it. So I launched Icons just to make it a bit more pretty: https://airtable.com/marketplace/blkQR3ZxqdeVppXgL/icons-silver-tazaThere was a challenge in working around Airtable limitations, but I think I did an OK job navigating these, and ended up with something actually usable. I hope people find it valuable so I can continue adding more icons & visuals.
I had a need to develop various types of Airtable to Google Cloud Firestore syncs. Still need to create more types and fix some issues, but I figured I'd share what I have so far with the community. It's easy to use and works just as advertised for me.https://github.com/antquinonez/Airtable-Firestore-SyncFULL_REFRESH: Deletes all existing data in the Firestore collection and replaces it with the current Airtable data.REPLACE: For each record in Airtable, deletes any existing records with the same primary key in Firestore and inserts the new record.UPSERT_CHECKSUM: Compares each Airtable record with existing Firestore records using a checksum. Updates Firestore if there are changes, or inserts if the record is new.UPSERT_CHECKSUM_WITH_DELETE: Similar to UPSERT_CHECKSUM, but also deletes Firestore records that no longer exist in Airtable.VERSIONED: Creates a new version of each record in Firestore, marking the previous version as not latestVERSIONED_SET: Creates a new set of all records
Hello, dear community. I hope you can help me solve this issue I need to address:I have a table with a list of students and another table with a list of tasks, each with a corresponding status column. I need to create a task list where each student can update the status of each task.The status should not be mixed with the statuses of other students, but rather each student should be able to mark their own status for each task.
Hello Airtable Community Moderators,@MaddieJ, @leah_ackerman @selenawang , @Evan_Purcell @Rosalind_Lutsky ,Recently, we've seen an increase in spam posts across various categories. These posts often disguise themselves as responses to genuine questions or issues, making it challenging for users seeking real help to find the needed information.I want to acknowledge the fantastic work the moderators do to remove these posts promptly. However, this situation can sometimes overshadow genuine queries, causing delays in responses and creating unnecessary doubts among users.To help combat this issue, I suggest implementing additional verification measures for new community members. For instance, requiring users to have an Airtable account or exploring other verification methods could help in filtering out spam accounts and maintaining the quality of discussions.Let's all stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help maintain the integrity of our commun

Rather long manual formula, but it does the job.I've got a series of fields that output the day of week in number format, like this: VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT(DATETIME_PARSE(Month_billed_for & 1, "MMMM YYYYD"), "d"))VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT(DATETIME_PARSE(Month_billed_for & 2, "MMMM YYYYD"), "d")) Then I sum them the fields that are not fridays or saturdays.SUM( IF(AND(COUNTA({a}), {a} != 6, {a} != 5), 1, 0), IF(AND(COUNTA({b}), {b} != 6, {b} != 5), 1, 0), IF(AND(COUNTA({c}), {c} != 6, {c} != 5), 1, 0), IF(AND(COUNTA({d}), {d} != 6, {d} != 5), 1, 0), IF(AND(COUNTA({e}), {e} != 6, {e} != 5), 1, 0), IF(AND(COUNTA({g}), {g} !=&n
Help! I cancelled my account last year, yet an huge amount of money has been taken from my account. I can't afford this and don't seem to be able to contact anyone about it. I don't know what to do! I am very stressed.
Looking for a developer to help with one task - create a new records from a text using only 2-3 fields on information (date/name/customer). If this is possible please comment!
Hello, we are Two Bit Circus Foundation, a small education nonprofit which teaches STEM skills to underserved students and also trains teachers in hands-on learning techniques. We are looking for a **bleep** integration for our quotes and POs and also to optimize some bases we initially built years ago and have gotten kind of messy, plus don't take advantage of features like sync between bases that could really help us.We are hoping for someone who can offer a nonprofit discount or otherwise help us fit this into our budget.Thank you,Mya StarkDirector of Community LearningTwo Bit Circus Foundation
I've built powersave to be able to add records to Airtable as quickly as possible. That meant creating a browser extension that lets me pick the right table quickly and perhaps extract data from a website I'm currently visiting.But if the table does not exist yet, it's a blocker and that's why the new version of powersave addresses this.1) AI analyzes the website (or relies on custom instructions) and offers a table structure2) You can make additional manual adjustments3) Table is created in your base4) Now you can add a new record to that tableAll thanks to the amazing Airtable API.Quick demo:
Hi everyone!I'm relatively new to Airtable and currently working on a final project for a company I used to work for. I introduced them to Airtable, but they want to keep the overall cost under $35 per month.For the project, I'm trying to create a Timeline View where the first column displays all the apartments from the "Apartments" table, and the other columns represent dates. Additionally, I would like to have a list of bookings on the right-hand side that only shows bookings which haven't been fully assigned yet (those with a "Beds Remaining to Assign" field greater than zero). My goal is to be able to drag and drop these unassigned bookings onto the timeline, matching them to the appropriate apartment.I'm hoping someone in the community might be able to guide me through building this or point me in the right direction. I’m happy to pay for assistance in getting this setup right!Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you so much!
Hey all! As much as I love Airtable it frustrates me how limited the styling options you have with the embed/share links.I've built a little tool to customize and embed Airtable data on any website.
