Each day is (or might be) delivered by a different Driver/Staff member.  I would like to send this sharable view to a client. They will click the ‘Button’ of the Hire Day they wish to give feedback on. This Button should link to a form, where the Customer gives a rating out of 5 for this Driver/Staff members performance for this day.  This rating should then be recorded against this Staff Member (under a different table called “Staff Members”). And, ultimately, it will create an Average rating out of 5 stars for this Driver / Staff member. Think U

Hi all,I built a custom extension 3d model viewer that runs great on localhost. However, when I block release, I get this error message: Bundling... doneUploading... Incomplete    Error: ❌ Could not upload bundle. The bundle's size is too big.    Code: s3ApiBundleTooLargeI can’t find anything in the documentation about package size. Is there a way to work around this? My goal is to use this in an interface as a first check for model geometry, etc. We still download and open in a slicer or CAM application prior to manufacturing.

Every time someone in the community asked "can I use Page Designer in interfaces?" the answer was always not yet. We’re using Airtable to review pdf documents, and the thumbnail on the interface page is just 5-10% too small for our users to do their job. They need to be able to look at the document and enter information on the same page, and clicking on the attachment field to get a better look takes the user away from the fields the need to access.Setting the appearance to “hero” in the settings and fitting the image to size makes it slightly too small to be useable. Unchecking “fit image size” degrades the quality to slightly too fuzzy to be comfortable to read.Noloco’s interface solves this particular problem easily, because they place the preview window directly in the interface, but we want to go back to Airtable’s native interface for a lot of other reasons.Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this, or can we request a slightly larger zoom on a pdf fit to size, or better quality preview resolution?

I'm glad you can share an individual page in an interface. It's a decent improvement but still not the best solution. Now, if you could public share a full interface or at least the overview page, it would be such a much needed game-changer.Being able to share the Overview page of an interface with a nice cover image would be so helpful when sharing with a client or customer. It looks professional, well organized and nicely structured. Perfect if you want to share only the information without providing full access.Notion (overrated IMO) allows this (sharing of a workspace) where you can organize it and make it look professional. Currently in Airtable, when I end up haveing to share multiple URLs for different pages, clients get very overwhelmed. Being able to publicly share an interface would be incredible.

In the interface I have a list with two linked levels. Level 2 (parent) only has a handful of records. One of the records in Level 2 has over 4000 Level1 (child) records. When I open that parent record to vie the child records it is extremely slow and the slowness makes the application largely non responsive - until I move to a different parent record or some other table in the interface.  If I simply open another list in the interface with only the one child table, all 4500 records open pretty much instantly. What's the best way to handle this? 

Hi,As our team has grown from 1 person to over 5, we’re seeing an increasing amount of user errors, leading to costly data fixing maintenance. To some part a new user will become more proficient over time and will be able to avoid errors, but as long as it’s possible to err, humans will. The aim is to further expand, so at this point I’m taking some time to consider alternatives.What alternatives/add-ons are there one could consider to improve the UX and data integrity? I want to stick to Airtable as the system centre, but I am willing to fork over some parts of the most used interfaces to another system, if that would bring order to the current issues. Mobile use is not critical for use, lean laptop use is.I remember hearing about Noloco in some discussion. Would that help? This question has probably already been answered… but I haven’t managed to find it.So here it goes.I’m trying to implement a work control system for a nursing home. Many of the staff only need to view their tasks and record certain information in a couple of processes.I’ve designed a form for this purpose.On the other hand, the Interface contains multiple administrative views and queries.Currently, we only have one editor user and one viewer user.Unfortunately, I can’t get the staff to have access only to creating, editing, and viewing their own tasks.I’ve tried embeds, iframes, HTML… in many different ways, and nothing works. Airtable always limits me.Am I doing something wrong?Do I necessarily have to pay for additional users?Would that give me another interface?Would Fillout (as suggested by Scott Rose @ScottWorld) be the solution?I don’t want to use tools like Make or n8n.Than

We’ve never had this issue before, but the Interface we use for our sales team keeps crashing.  This recently started happening since Monday, April 20th.  It seems to be connected to the total number of operations in the report, but my question is why is this an issue now and not before yesterday?

Hi,How can I change which fields are visible in the “Click to see underlying records” drill-down in an interface dashboard pivot table?Automatically I get “sum” and “link to cost centers” but I’d need to show something else.  Airtable instructions claim that you should be able to do it, but I just can’t see where to do it. 

Hello, I tried to find out a solution the whole afternoon but I am not sure if it is possible, so I drop the question here, maybe there is something I am missing out. Table  The idea is to get this form with conditional selector here (this is part of “add a new record form”) So basically, from the perspective of the user, ideally, he should get “Draft” selected on the approval selector, that would force only “planned” or “cancelled” on lifecycle, and depending on that, it also allows “not started” or “-” on the operational selector. This would essentially be a form to upload a document, along with a checkbox called “Auto AI Recognition” to enable or disable the field agents (I would use this checkbox as a trigger) to read the document and populate the different fields in the table as required.However, once the document is uploaded and the form is submitted, the form disappears. Is there a way to add an outlook email as an attachment that can be opened and viewed later? Currently we can add the email in the attachment field but when trying to open it, it looks like gibberish. I can download then, but would rather not add that step to an otherwise simple workflow.   

Is it possible to access a shared interface page via the mobile app?

Hi!I am looking for a workaround, where I can turn a single record with multiple dates into separate records with a single date… new records are created via FillOut.  we’re a charity delivering some programmes over multi week periods. An employee completes the fill out form, puts the dates they’d like us to deliver the programme on, and then submits the form. i can view all these dates via calendar view, but was hoping to view them via list view also but as they’re individual records it won’t work this way. sorry this probably isn’t making much sense but hoping someone will understand where I’m coming from…thanks!

I am trying to create a public interface, where I will allow people to search for submitted serial no.Only if you enter the correct serial number in full (without case sensitivity), a list will be shown for all records that matches the S/N you entered.Is this possible with interface?

I want to use the Record Review template to make a How-to Page for my CRM. Each how to Task is on the left nav bar but I want the user to be able to page through them with Next Page (Record) Previous Page (Record) Buttons at the bottom of each Task page. I know I can use a button to pull a URL from the current record but that reloads the whole page instead of just changing the section as if you used the sidebar nav. Gallery view has a kind of pagination feature but there’s less customizability in the page template then the Record Review module version. Any ideas? I’ve tried Omni prompts with bad results, but if you have one that worked for you I’ll gratefully take that solution.Please don’t respond with 3rd-party integrations as solutions.

I would like to sync a record interface between two interfaces if possible. I have just spent ages nailing down my interface only to not be able to use it on a separate interface. I have found a post from 2 years ago referring to the same issue but wondered if there was a solution around yet? For context i have a project editor view and have managed to sync this to a separate project viewer interface no issue, but i am currently making a task calendar where i want to be able to open the linked project in record view but in the same layout. Is it a case of having to replicate? Its the first limitation ive come across so far! Fingers crossed    

Hi everyone,I’m building a List Interface in Airtable and would like to know if it’s possible to freeze (or lock) the first column, similar to how you can freeze columns in grid views.When scrolling horizontally through fields in the List layout, the first column (which usually contains key identifiers like names or IDs) scrolls out of view, making it difficult to track which record I’m looking at.Is there a built-in way to freeze the first column in a List Interface, or any workaround that others have found helpful?Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions!— Sean

Hi there is anyone familiar of a workaround so that the background colour of a record changes on calendar view when a field has been updated, when multiple dates are on one calendar?  using calendar to manage service user caseload - the programme service users enrolled on take part in 6 sessions, we have 6 date fields on the calendar.  when we complete progress notes for a service user on one week we want that record to change green… so we know who has had their progress notes completed. please let me know - thanks so much!

Hi, I’m trying to create a pivot table in Interfaces > Dashboards. I need two nested rows (Vertical and Region) to cross-reference values against one column (Quarter) for the table to be useful.However, I just don’t see the Add Row option in the configuration panel on the right. Multiple sources tell me this should be possible, but I’m not seeing how. Can anyone help?Not able to nest another field. 

Hi, I have established a foundation to collaborate with an external community. All my providers are added as Guests and have only access to interfaces. I’m struggling to find documentation for Guests users only, and especially regarding the notifications. I need several things and either it’s not possible so i need to find a work around , or i don’t know how to set it up:1/ when someone leaves a comment on a record the @ does not show all the guests users (portal editors) only the Editors and on top of that they don’t see who left the comment either it says anonymous, is there a way to change that without changing the portal editors status? i would need the portal editors to tag each other.2/ is automation the only way to receive emails when a status is changing? or am i missing something? Thanks for your helpMarion

Hi,In an automation that is triggered by an user from an interface button, would it be possible to divide the action in two parts, with user interaction inbetween?I’d like to show the user a preview of an invoice that would be sent out after the user has checked it’s all good. The PDF would be produced in the first stage, then sent out in the second if OK.I cannot see any way to this in Airtable, but I have been amazed before by elegant solutions :). Hi,I have an automation that ultimately triggers from checkbox field being checked. The checkbox is normally checked as the result of another automation, but I need to let users re-run the automation manually.I thought I could place an Update record button and let it toggle the checkbox, i.e. first uncheck the box, then check it anew.Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Here’s an image of how my setup. Any ideas how to configure a button so that it unchecks and the checks a checkbox?Rgds,Björn
