Hi, I have a Data table that is structured in the following way:IDValueQuantity101A1101B2102A3Within the data view I have these records grouped by the 'ID' field. However, when attempting to create an interface and including a 'Record Picker', it shows the records individually. E.g., I selected the first instance of ID 101 and it only shows Value A. I would like to have a record picker that when I selected ID 101 that it shows both the records for Value A and Value B. Is this possible? Thank you 

Why are elements (groups) in an airtable dashboard non resizable? I added a dashboard interface in airtable with two number groups that show the count of companies and two chart groups. When I click on the expand button on the chart group, I want it to display the pie chart and the list in a descending order with details below. Though this is seen currently, I am not able to resize the charts or increase the size of the list table below. The table is seen as a thin scrollable section at the bottom and it is a very tedious experience for a user to scroll again and again when in fact the page can be otherwise utilized to show a bigger table. (see screenshot below) As a work around, I tried to create a dashboard using a blank interface. However now the number or chart element is not clickable and it is static. This makes me think airtable dashboard is not a very cohesive tool. If one feature is present, it lacks in another feature. Is there a suggestion to show better dashboards

Im using the "Record Review" template for users to choose a record and then see all it's details.Each of my records has multiple date fields. I'm hoping to show these dates with a calendar element, however it seems I can only show dates for every record in the whole table or dates from linked records in other tables. Not actually just the one selected. I've tried to play around with filtering but that does not seem to get me anywhere.Is it really not possible to show one or multiple dates only for the records that has been selected?

We have a form that we use to calculate current enrollment of a program, this number will change periodically.  We have an interface that shows a bunch of other data points as well.  How can I display the last entered data for currently enrolled?

Dear All,We have an digital product manufacturing line and we are using airtable to assign an order.Right now, they couldn't filter any data on airtable while it is opened on iPad. Before update it is working and they reach relavent data by using date filter.Besides, it effects not only list interface but also on any other interface.Could you please be so kind to get any help how can I overcome this issue? or which overaround solution can be implemented?Thanks in advance.Umut

I am helping a friend's small restaurant create a drink menu that can be viewed from iPads in the restaurant.There are many types of beverages that are updated in the master Airtable.I just want a view-only way for customers to glance at that list on provided tablets. The main data types are, - image of the drink-price- descriptionswhat's the best way to do this?  If there's a good plug-in that adds to the viewing experience beyond the basic features, we don't mind paying for that too.

I'm wondering if this platform offers app creation (front end GUI).

At the top of my interface, I have a variety of Filters for end users. At the interface level, I've filtered out certain records using the same fields that are at the top of the interface as end-user filters. For example Published Location <> UNPUBLISHED. However, when end-users click on the filter "Published Locations", there still remains the UNPUBLISHED option which, when chosen, returns no records in the interface. I would like the records to be filtered and the filters to be... filtered. 

I'm trying to build a system where users can copy a Roll Up/Look Up field of phone numbers directly from their phone. This field often has up to 20+ phone numbers.My current solution is to set up a pre-filled form that is accessible via mobile, in which the user will be able to highlight the pre-filled text within a single line text (pre-filled with the look-up field data). From here, users will be able to copy the data. It's a bit clunky.With the introduction of Interfaces on Mobile, I was hoping to build an interface that I could simply display the Roll Up field. However, on mobile, these fields are a bit difficult to copy out. It's still easier to use the Pre-Filled Form where users can "select all" text.Ideally, there would be a button to just copy text or a better way to display the Look Up/Roll Up fields in a way that's easily selectable to be copied. If anyone has a better suggestion for me rather than using a useless form that would be amazing!

HiI'm a new Airtable user and I'm trying to determine the best approach to creating a dashboard view for each client at our firm with read only access.I'm aware you can create 1 base and filter views but that would make it possible for clients to see each others dashboards.Would it be better to create a single base specific to work for a single client and use that data set to create a dashboard or is there a way to prevent a client from looking at another client's dashboard if I chose to use a single base and filter views?

Hi,I need to add images into a filed in a form, it it possible?

For some reason a number field is not showing up in the Interface's filter options.This happens specifically if you choose a layout with a specific widget (I'm using timeline in this case).If you choose a blank layout though, the number field IS available in the filter!What's with the inconsistency? Why would a different layout have different functionality for the same feature?I guess the alternative would be to just use a timeline in a blank page, but I don't want to that. I prefer the feel and options when you pick the timeline layout directly.

Finally have gotten fairly complete on a prototype base design for tracking training records for our company (construction industry) and while I have a decent interface setup for showcasing what we could potentially do, I am wondering if sticking with airtable native or moving to one of the 3rd party form and/or front-end platforms (fillout, noloco, softr, jotform, etc) is the right approach (costs being a consideration as well).The general use case is a base with a couple of tables used to track employees, what training they have taken (CPR/1st aid, scaffold, trench excavation, fall protection, etc) and which of those are active, expired, or expiring soon. It also logs and tracks incident reports on the various sites (what project was it on, what employee involved, what happened, corrective actions, etc).I have an interface set that has:A dashboard for our training metrics (% of training complete, what trainings are delinquent the most, filter by project/division, etc)A gallery list v

Hi,For some time now, the unlink button on a card shows as a mere white dot when hovering over the item. Only when you hover over the button itself does it show the proper dark background / white 'X'.This makes it hard for users who aren't very familiar with Airtable to work with our interfaces.

Hello,On Interface Designer of Airtable, when a user preview the PDF this is working correctly.But, when he download the PDF, Airtable remove the parentheses of the name files.Is it a normal behavior from Airtable ?We need to keep identically name file, because we need it on automation.Thanks 

Hi everyone ! 👋I'm setting up a database with a lot of elements coming from different tables.It's a database on which sales people have to make modifications, but I'd like them not to have access to this database in Edit mode.To remedy this, I'd like to create a form with an active search.e.g.: They enter a customer's name, and all the information we've already pre-filled in the fields, to avoid duplicating questions.Have you already implemented this? Is this possible?If not, what tools or workflows would you recommend?Thank you !

Need a way to have the sum of the columns be viewable in an interface like below.  

Hi,I am sending users from an interface form to a Calendly event booking page using the redirect URL.Calendly would be able to receive variables such as invitee_name and invitee_email, but in the form design I can only choose record_id to be passed.Getting name and email passed from Airtable to Calendly would greatly simplify the UX and reduce error possibilities for e.g. email address between Airtable and Calendly.Is there some workaround how to get other variables than record_id to be passed?Rgds,Björn

I have an Airtable table that contains Requests and another that contains Devices. Both share a common link record to a Company table. A Company has a 1 to many relations to both Devices and Requests. Also, there's a 1 to 1 mapping between Requests and Devices. I'd like to have an Airtable Interface where I look at all "open" Requests and based on that Request's company field, choose an "available" Device mapped to the same company to be linked to that Request.Is this possible and if so, any guidance on how to go about that?

Good morning, I am working on an Interface and I want to add a drop down filter for a specific field in the table I am using. But Airtable is only offering me one field and it is a linked field. Is there a reason that a native short text field is not available to use as a filter? This Interface is of no value if I cannot filter by this field. I do not want my users to have to use the filter button the top right as it requires skills most of them do not have.Thanks for any help you can give.Thanks, Scott

 I see that Interface forms have validation for dates. Question is how to set it up? I would like to set up the start date to be 14 days from today, but the Range limit doesn't allow dynamic settings. What does this Range limit help with then?

Hi all, I'm building a task management base with a Timeline interface set to the Gantt display mode.  I am interested in utilizing the critical path feature mentioned in the help site for Gantt views but I can't seem to find the settings for it on the interface side.  Does it not exist for interfaces???  TIA!

I have the below interfaceThe idea is to give the service team members a touchable sheet they can use a tablet to checkoff when putting a cart together. However, the checklist is not editable inside of the interface which seems really stupid to not be able to do, plus for whatever reason isn't even viewable inside of a tablet/phone so defeats the purpose entirely. Any ideas?
