Today I noticed that the images I add are not showing up in the grid, kanban, Gallery, and Interface view. Some of the pictures will show once you click on them but they wont show as a thumbnail. and when I click to view other images they don't show the thumbnail nor the image, they only show an error message. I started to troubleshoot by trying to attach different image types and sizes but to no avail. I also tried attaching the same exact images from records I made last week but they too are now showing this error image:“Previews for this filetype are not available”File: dsc_6285(2).webp - 10.8 KBThe 3rd image will show when I click on it but it wont show as a thumbnail. The images I attached last week are showing up still, as a thumbnail. look at where the red arrow is pointing. To clarify, yes, I am only clicking the “Add Attachment” button to upload my images. No automation. I’d be very grateful if anyone can help. Please let me know if you have a fix or if I should just contact

My organization seeks ability to create Airtable based apps with a proper user portal for external users to create/register and log into their profiles. Unfortunately, Airtable portals doesn’t fit our budget for the number of external users we might expect. (Approx 400). (we have business plan by the way) Even Softr is pretty pricey, but it seems like a halfway decent option. I have looked into many different options from Pory.io, Zite, Stacker, Noloco, Glide, WeWeb, Bubble.io, Jet admin, etc even thought of possibly seeing if I could linked Airtable to a supabase and build portal in Bolt. I am not very technical, but I want to learn how to do this myself and help build a solution or find the right one. there are so many options, and let’s say the budget is $2000 per year for approx 400 external users. This is on top of the existing seats paid for the business plan for internal users. what do people recommend, and why? Please feel free to DM if you can offer more guidance.
I am experiencing an issue duplicating one of my bases. The details are: Base ID: appMbMonUXRj3FMXX Base name: QUAN LY TNC Issue: When I attempt to duplicate the base (both with data and with structure-only), the process never completes. The dialog shows “Duplicating your app is taking a bit longer than expected,” but even after more than 12 hours, the duplication does not finish. Troubleshooting attempted: Tried duplicating with full data → stuck. Tried duplicating structure-only (no records/attachments) → stuck. Tried in multiple browsers and workspaces. Waited over 12 hours without completion. Already tried to create a new base from a snapshot → still unsuccessful. Anyone have experiences in this matter?
I need to manage multiple deadlines for multiple projects & clients more efficiently. I don’t want to update deadlines in multiple places, but that’s where I am. This isn’t efficient and will not work for the long term. Here is the current setup:I have a Primary Base I use to manage grant research, tasks, and profiles for all of my Clients. This includes 2 key tables: a Research Table and a Task Table. The Research Table is filtered into views that are specific to each client. Each of those views are synced to a Table within a Separate Client Base. That Separate Client Base also includes a second Submissions Table that is manually updated with specific due dates and other requirements that are unique to that Client (although some research may be relevant to multiple Clients, specific details will be unique to each client). This Separate Client Base is shared with each Client. The Task Table (in the Primary Base) is manually updated with a wide range of tasks that is grouped by Clie
Is it possible to add simple text blocks within a form to break the form into multiple named sections?
I’m syncing records from a source base into a separate working table. New records from the source base are showing up on the sync’d base, but updates to the record (e.g. selecting a different single source field entry) are NOT syncing. The base is set up for automatic sync. Is this a bug, normal (i.e. updates to records don’t sync), or is there something I’m missing in setup?
Hi everyone, I’m teaching a course which requires students to label and recognize certain kinds of sentences. I have a list of sentences for them to practice on in a table and the answers in the next column. I’d like to set up a kind of self-study tool for students. The Flashcard App would work really well for that, can I somehow share that with my students? It’d be even better if I could randomize it. The ideal use scenario would be a multiple choice test that would grab, say, 10 examples and then reveal the correct answers to students when they submit. But I’ll take what I can get! Thanks!
Hello! I wonder if you might give a way of offsetting the “Q1”, “Q2”, etc markers on the Gantt timeline, to support a fiscal year that does not match the calendar year. Or, if not that, to hide the markers altogether. I realize there’s a way to use formulas to have fields reflect an offset fiscal year based on dates, but I don’t believe it’s possible to change this header and it’s very confusing for viewers. Thanks!

Hi All! I am creating a form in Airtable and would love to allow users to see specific text based on their responses. I am familiar with using conditional form fields, but they seem to be limited to fields that require a response. I’d like to do something similar, but just with next that would inform the form user. Does anyone know if this is an existing functionality or if there are plugins to make it possible? Thank you!
Dear community,All the data in my database is formatted as DD/MM/YYYY. This question is about meetings we have. The meetings should be link to other records. But when I want to link the meeting with date format DD/MM/YYYY in another table, the format is MM/DD/YYYY, which is quite confusing. Any idea how I could solve this?There is a screenshot of the situation attached.
So many new goodies from Airtable yesterday! I did not see the JotForm integration coming, but was so excited when I read the newsletter. After playing around with the feature, I realized that mapping JotForm Fields to Airtable’s Linked Record Fields is not supported at this time. I contacted JotForm about this and was told they put in a feature request to their backend team, but couldn’t guarantee it would happen. No idea if this is something entirely on JotForm’s end, or if Airtable is able to help them maybe ( :slightly_smiling_face: ?), but I wanted to put in a word here and say how helpful enabling this feature would be. Without being able to map JotForm fields to linked record fields in Airtable, the integration is basically useless in all of my workflows. Anyone else have any thoughts?
I am in Seattle, using my local time zone, Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8). One of my columns, ‘Start Time’, contains a Date value of “1/2/2016 10:00”, but when I reference it in a separate column using DATETIME_FORMAT({Start Date}, ‘MM/DD/YY HH:mm’) the time displayed is 8 hours ahead (18:00). The same thing occurs for any other times I reference. I see that I could use SET_TIMEZONE, but do I need to use this whenever I want to have the results of a formula in my time zone? Is this a setting I can change in my account or base, anywhere?
Can someone help? I am trying to prefill our customer intake form with the source so I know where the form was filled out (i.e. from our website, at an event, ect.). When I change the URL it is showing correctly in the form, but when I submit it to Airtbale the source field is empty. Am I missing something?

However, there are some things that could be def improved (1st thing is forms, but that we discussed on way too many posts already).Something I’d really like to have is the ability to apply filters at a group level. i.e. when working on a grid view on my base, and applying groups, I’d love to filter my view by conditions met by the full groups, rather than the individual underlying records. Example:“Show me all groups with size bigger than 1 record”.Yes, I could come up with crazy workarounds where I link all of the records of a group together, create a lookup, rollup, or count or other type of helper field, maybe have an additional formula filed to bring values of all lookups together if needed, and then apply a filter on such field on a record level (which would show valu
I am adding descriptions to records and they are showing up in Grid View but not in Calendar View. How do I get descriptions to show on Calendar View on the AirTable calendar imbedded on my website.
I have followed this to a tee but I am missing something here! I have a table called Certified Partner Data (CPD). It is essentially my Main table from the exercise above. I have a field called TRIs in that CPD Table. I need to rollup the sum of that column. I have created a Calc table and made it Link to CPD. I see all of records of CPD in one row of Calc. I go back to CPD and create a Lookup field going back to the rollup in Calc of the TRIs.Below is what I see when I when I view CPD. I have it filtered to a single month and you can see the TRIs column = 15 (column total at bottom) yes my Total TRIs is showing 554. That is the total NON FILTERED. The filtering on CPD has no effect on the Calc results. I am SO close but can’t seem to get this part to work. I am filtering on a Single Select “Month”. Why is it not picking up the Filtering from CPD? And as always, thank you!
