Hi, I would like to copy a table (a specific view) to paste it into a table format into an email, but I can’t seem to figure it out. It seems that if I were to copy the records in an AirTable, it just converts into plain text when I paste it into email, instead of a tabular format. I tried a bunch of different ways, but the only way that ended up working was downloading into csv, applying borders to my table in csv, and then pasting it into Gmail. Surely there is a better/faster way to do this? Hoping someone could help here!
Is anyone else having this experience? The new UI (besides for being a steep learning curve) is loading base and interfaces really slowly???Best part of AT was the instant response….

Hello!In the data layer, I can no longer find how to toggle on the setting to view other user’s Personal Views. There used to be a gear icon to the right of “Find a View”, however, I can no longer find it or figure out how to toggle this setting on/off.Can someone please help?Thanks!Sarah
Hi - I am trying to create a field with unique hyperlinks that can be used in an interface (we don’t want a button or field that has a static name for every record).I want to use the {link to content} field for the URL, and the {content title} for the display.I am having trouble figuring this out, but I am sure there is a way to do it.I would appreciate any help.Thanks!
Hi! Does anyone know a trick about how to get the email of a user, that filled a form with a “Restrict access to an email domain” activated? When this feature is on, the user must sign up and login into AirTable to fill the form. If the user’s email domain belongs to the one accepted at the form settings, then he can view the form, fill and submit it. So my question is: since the user have just signed up and login, is there a way we can save the email address used, inside the created record? Thank community!
Can anyone explain what this error message means? “Field cannot accept the provided value: Could not find matching rows for string.” Trying to fill a linked column with an automation, however, sometimes there is no information to fill.
Does anyone know how to get Airtable to go back to a previous look. The new look with the status bar on the left has made airtable more difficult to work with. Left Bar down the entire window instead of across the top.
Hello, I have a main base and several project bases that have a two-way sync with this main base. In these project bases, I receive data from my main base, but also have columns specific to these project which are freely editable by the teams.I would like my columns from the main base (the sync one) to be in editor access to the teams (values are editable, but not the column), and the non-sync columns to be in creator access to the teams. How can I do that ? Thanks !Agnès
When using a form, I want to offer specific choices for students to choose from, but I also want to offer them to option to fill in some option that we haven’t thought of. (As in, “how did you hear about us? Internet search, friend, Facebook, other- tell us how”) Thanks Linda
Hello Community! Has anyone had success printing from the new Interfaces feature? I’ve created some texts and a table in the new Interfaces feature - basically it’s a nice checklist. When I do a basic print - the formatting is way off and my table doesn’t fit on the page. I tried using the app Page Designer, but it doesn’t appear that you can select an Interface to load into Page Designer. Thoughts? Suggestions?
I’m running into an issue where a URL prefill is linking the correct records to the form, but showing them as “unnamed”. I know they are the right records, because when I submit it shows the correct records. This wouldn’t be a problem, except for the fact the the user needs to see which record is which employee, so if they need to they can remove someone that left early, for example. Anyone have any ideas how to have it show the names of the employees that definitely are not “unnamed” and have something in their primary field?We are using Record IDs to prefill the Employees field.Thanks in advance to anyone that has any ideas or suggestions!

Anyone know if/how to change the default behavior of clicking Interfaces when in Data Mode. It defaults to design mode so I need to click Interfaces and then click Open. I could have sworn it took me straight to interfaces prior to the most recent UI changes.

How can I search for a user in all airtable databases?
I'm astounded that Airtable doesn't support global search by default. Currently, I can find text within one base table only, not in all tables within a base, let alone all Airtable bases. I've seen that the Marketplace has a Search extension, which is absurd, paying $24/month to have the privilege to search your data within a database app. It's like charging an additional fee for including a steering wheel with a car. This question was asked by a user in September 2020: How can I search globally in all bases? ( Major Drawback ) NOT RESOLVED PLEASE OPEN THIS AGAIN. The query was marked as Solved and closed even though the OP clearly stated in the Subject heading "Not resolved," and wrote in the text body: "No the existing search app doesnt work. See the image below. it only search in the records in current base not globally." Nobody paying attention. Sad how 3 years have passed with zero progress on this matter.
We used to be able to select a photo size option ie: small, medium, large when uploading photos from the iOS AirTable Mobile app. Now it doesn’t seem to offer the option and forcing you to upload much larger than needed photos and wasting my data. As a future feature request, would anyone else benefit from the preview links for URLs being more personalised?I send out a lot of forms via email to people in my network, but often when they're in the field they contact me and ask me to send the link by text... When I do, the links just show up with the generic Airtable preview.Because we have so many forms, there is no way for the individual to identify which of the links in their messages is the correct one. See attached image of how they appear in a SMS exchange.It would be great if instead of "Everyone's app platform" it would have the name of the form, or the view that was being shared in the link.If it also had the base icon instead of the airtable/blue/laptop icon, that would be a bonus.
In my workspace, when I hover over a base it either says “open data” or “open interface”Does anyone know when it will make “open data” the behavior or “open interface” the behavior. It seems kind of random to me. Just curious.
I'm wondering if there is a way to restrict a date field to a range of dates. We have a base that grants people access to our website. In order to get access, they need to fill out a form saying how long they need access for, but we want to restrict it to dates that are 1 or two months from now so they don't put 2025 or something ridiculously far away. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this? Thanks!
