I am a volunteer that built a base for Grants Tracking for a nonprofit, using my gmail account. I am the Owner, with 3-read only shares to the nonprofit staff, while I created the base and am loading it for their Grants Team. The nonprofit is approved for discount rate. How do we upgrade plan? If I do it from my gmail Account Ownership, then it is full price. Should steps be: Transfer ownership of base to nonprofit rep who is approved for pricing. How do you transfer ownership of a base? She upgrades with nonprofit credit card to Pro plan Nonprofit has to pay for two - Base Owner and me as the volunteer collaborator Am I missing something? This is probably a bug? But copy pasting a value into a linked record is not working for me. It used to work before… It says “Pasting…” but then doesn’t do anything… HELP!

How do I format currency with commas/decimal points in a formula, if the output is a currency and a word? If it was just currency I could use the built in formatter but since I have a word in there it isn’t an option. What I’m currently getting: “$” & {Amount} & " - " & {Vendor} $1000 - Utility Bill What I want: $1,000.00 - Utility Bill

Trying to understand why records that are filtered out still show up in Kanban View. Do I need to go in & collapse or delete each item if I don’t want it to show up at all? Also curious if trying to print from this View is even desirable. Haven’t been successful with printing multiple records in the Gallery View or the Page Designer app.

Printing multiple records in Gallery View seems to present the same issues that the Page Designer app does. I can only get 3 records to a page in Portrait, 4 in Landscape, but the outlines (& then text) are either cut off in Landscape or spill over onto the next page in Landscape. If I try changing the scale, it gets worse b/c it readjusts by record, not by page so everything starts to get cut-off, spillover haphazardly. Is there just no solution other than exporting this to another program if I want to print???

Hello All, We use an application developed on the airtable platform. However, we dont have an option to use a mailing system with in the application rather we manually copy the content and paste within the application to be able to maintain the transactions. Does Airtable platform support emailing where i could send and receive emails using my work emails domain with in the application itself ? Would appreciate your suggestion. Thanks Sma

I am looking to make a living (the dates can move forward, but not backwards) availability matrix that can live on my website. Its for a boutique hotel property that has different room themes. I would like to display the rooms (there are 11) and their availability as a price when it is available and an X when its not available. I would like the availability to show starting today for 14 days, where the user can skip forward via picking a date on a calendar. Ideally the rooms are as rows and the dates are as the columns. I get the check in and check out dates as well as the trailers added to a spreadsheet when someone books, and I would like for that info to be update on the availability matrix grid. Hi, I am looking for a way to get lead data by creating a form with specific fields like profession, industry, etc. After filling in the form, the user gets access to a unique download link e.g a pdf document, either by presenting the download link directly in the thank you page or through an email with a unique link to the digital file. What are the possibilities here with airtable? I was thinking of creating a base with the lead data and one with the digital downloads. The type of digital download dictates which form fields should be filled in, so they can differ per download. I am new to Airtable so maybe I am missing some pieces to the puzzle, or airtable might not be the right solution for this. Greetz , WJ

Hi, I download a view from Airtable. When I open it in Numbers, the “,” in the price disappear. For example, 15.95$ becomes 1595$ When I open it in Excel, it doesn’t read the csv and puts everything in one column. How can I correct this? Thank you

Hi! I have some customer data that includes the date they signed up & the date they canceled. Each row is a customer. I want to calculate my customer retention and have done it using google sheets. My current solution uses a column for week1, week2, week3…etc a series of IF statements to determine if the customer was retained (1) or churned (0). Then, my summary row at the bottom can tell me my churn rate. What I’m wondering is two things: how can I transpose those summaries from being spread across columns to something I can chart in Vega lite. OR Is there a way to avoid creating all of these extra columns and running these cumulative summaries in JSON/Vega lite

Hi all, I think my AirTable is getting too many refreshes notifications in less than 5 minutes. eg 10 times in a row. I’m working on a table with 8 collaborators, but not all of them are online at the same time. It’s so annoying that I had to come here and ask for help. Even the app for Windows 10 or the web version for Chrome has the same issue. Regards, Jesse

Okay. So I have excel-brain and am getting frustrated with Airtable lol. How would you organize this? 1 Department 6 Sub-Departments 1000s of records that move between the sub-departments with demographic info, actions done for the record, and licenses associated with the record in all 50 states tracked? We need to track all this info for each record and then fluidly move the info as the record moves through the sub departments.

Would it be possible to see two images side by side (as in a magazine) in a gallery view? I am working your a magazine project and my collaborators would like to have the two-pages look in each card instead of the one page per card that I use now. I created a view to use for a Pivot Table, and I’ve chosen that view in the Pivot Table settings. For some reason the Pivot Table is pulling ALL the information from the main table, not just the information from the view I’ve chosen. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone else noticing that the “date” field in forms isn’t working? Did I accidentally click something I shouldn’t have? This is happening across multiple bases, in multiple form views. I am able to add a date to the field in the actual record in Airtable, and am able to add a date as a test in the form view in Airtable … but when I go to the live form, the date field doesn’t function. I select a date, and it doesn’t populate.

For some reason the date field will not allow me to select or add a date? Any idea why?

@Justin_Barrett In this situation we are using form stack documents to autofill the forms and we want to be able to have the date be automatically synced when checked and I tired the IF formula but it does not seem to work. Any ideas on this problem?

Hi everyone, I’m creating a script that can be used in conjunction with the Gantt App. Each record has a duration and a pre-defined antecedent or “Preceding Step”. Sometimes, a given record has more than one antecedent, and this is where I’m having an issue in my code. I used recursion to capture all the “children” of a given task, thus connecting them on timeline. Their start and end dates link up, while any other set of tasks could be independent. Here is where I’m stuck: Where the code says “if(!startdate)”, the whole point is to not re-fill in a date with a second antecedent if the date is already complete. (If I can get this to work, I would compare the dates of the two antecedents and use the later one, thus having this new task begin when the latest of its multiple antecedents is completed.) But the IF appears to be letting everything through! Even more strangely, if I run the script once, and the dates are all full, then run it ag
