I was at ONA24 in Atlanta last week and, as someone who has used Airtable in my last four newsrooms, I can say Airtable would make a killing signing up new paid users. It is by far the best content management system available (I've tried them all).You really need to have a midway presence at ONA25 in New Orleans.
I am new to Airtable. I am wondering whether you can send an email to an airtable record. Eg a follow up item to be added as a task. (This can be done in Evernote and other task programs). Thank you in advance
I’d like to integrate photos into Airtable but would prefer not to have to upload them directly as an attachment but would prefer to link them to someplace outside of Airtable. Currently I do this with an Evernote link. But ideally I could find a way to link it directly to my “Photos” app on the iPhone. The impetus for this is to avoid redundancy of having a photo stored in multiple places (Photos and Airtable, or Photos and Evernote). I store all my photos automatically to iCloud so I was hoping there is a way to link directly to a photo or link directly to an album? (Selecting photos and using the “Copy iCloud Link” feature doesn’t work b/c that link expires in 30 days…) Anyone know of a way to do this? Or any other interesting ways of tackling this problem? I'm using the CSV Import extension to import data into an existing table. I am trying to preserve a linked field relationship so that when data is imported, it does so into a linked field. I understand this is possible, however, the linked field I am working with is linked to a table that is synced from another base.When I try to import, I get an error message saying "You can't create records in 'Table' because it is a synced table." Are there any workarounds or is this just a limitation of Airtable? If I turn off the field (complete_machine_sn), I don't get an error message. At the end of the day, my goal is just to import the data and preserve the linked relationship, as I have downstream workflows that required that linked relationship.
Hello, I am trying to contact Airtable support. The page https://support.airtable.com/docs/contacting-airtable-support?contact_support=true says to go to your homepage, click help, and click message support. When I do this, there is no form, I am sent to the bot chat which is horribly unhelpful. How can I contact support? My issue is that I have registered my organization as a non-profit and I have been accepted. I want to take advantage of the 50% discount but I have paid already. I read that I cannot be refunded but I can have the extra money I paid added to my Airtable credits. This is yet to happen.I also have the notification to utilize my discount but Airtable wants me to downgrade to plus and pay the price of pro to do so - 144 annually per user - this is the Pro rate not Plus.
On a yearly paying plan, if after 3 months I decide to cancel, do I get the money back for the remaining 9 months of subscription? Or do I get Airtable credit? Or nothing ?

I have set up an airtable form that I will send out to a large audience. I do want to restrict the access to multiple email domains for security purposes but it seems like I can only do just one email. Is it possible to do it for multiple?
Hi all, We are trying to define roles and responsibilities within our organisation. One of the possible models that works really well in Excel is the Responsibility assignment matrix or RACI model. See https://racichart.org/ It is basically a table with tasks as rows and roles as columns and in each cell a marker that defines if someone is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted or Informed (hence RACI) by sdding a letter in a cell. When this table is filled in properly we can give each employee a clear overview of his/her responsibilities. Im getting the hang a bit of Airtable and am able to use it for a lot of our organisational overviews, but I have no clue yet if the above mentioned could also be achieved with Airtable and lead to a satisfying result, or if I should just stick to Excel for this. Would be awesome to hear your suggestions!
I’ve used a Rollup column to aggregate data from another table. There are duplicates in the data being aggregated, as well as blanks. I use the ARRAYUNIQUE(values) to operate on the roll up data. I even created an adjacent cell with an IF statement to test for ISBLANK and it is being returned as being blank. Once I set a filter the Rollup column to not show empty cells, empty cells are still shown. The issue is in the only DB in my account, in the Organization tab.
Is anyone else constantly interrupted by 'Reconnecting' and/or 'Saving Changes' messages? This happens on some of my least complex bases with a tiny amount of data in them. It is extremely frustrating, constantly breaks my focus, and causes my work to take longer than it should. This has been brought up to Airtable many times, but it continues to linger, so I figured I would post here and see if others are facing similar issues.
I get this notification every 3-5 seconds: “Trying to reconnect… please check your internet connection” The connection is stable. Other apps work well.

I store price data in a Products table, and link to it in an InvoiceLines table (Many InvoiceLines from One Product). However, when a price changes (is updated) in Products the original price of that item should not change in those records in InvoiceLines that have already been created. Given the Lookup type doesn’t offer it, can you think of a way to achieve this? At the moment the only way I can think of, is to export data from one table and import to another?
What do I do to solve this problem? I’ve been trying to join in with my new colleagues but can’t accept their invitations. I get this message over and over with no instructions on why it’s happening or what to do next. When I type the Airtable message into the Airtable support searchbar I get over a hundred hits but none of them tell me how to fix the problem. When I go to Google for help the search engine autofills my question right away, which tells me that lots of people are having this problem. I wonder why Airtable does not help people in this situation, but I really need to know what to do next.
I am the owner on a team account. I have 2 creators and 7 editors. The 7 editors are not on the entire workspace, but rather on the bases I want them to have access to. I have one base I'd like to create, but I don't want my other two creators to have access to it (sensitive budget information). But I can't find a way to do that without taking away their creator status and I want them to keep that- they've been instrumental in building bases and will continue to do that.
I am having trouble understanding the WORKDAY_DIFF and DATETIME_DIFF. Primarily I need it to return hours and minutes within 5 working days. Not just whole days with the WORKDAY_DIFF and not just total hours and minutes including weekends with DATETIME_DIFF. Example: Start a project at 4:25 pm Friday and finish at 9:40 am Monday, I would like my Turn Around column to say 2 hours and 15 minutes (2:15). I do not need it to round up to the nearest whole hour. I would appreciate any help you can give.
Hi. Corporately we are starting to use MS Planner, has anyone achieved any level of integration or linking with AT please? Ideally I’d like end users to be logging tasks in planner and they are automatically logged in AT. Regards Rob
Our organization is currently on the team plan and as owner of the team plan, I want to grant owner permissions to another user but it seems this is not available on the team plan. Is that correct? If so, why not? Please consider improving user management on the team plan. It is not very user friendly and limiting.
I have an Airtable base with two tables: “PT” (where students submit a form to reserve a date) and “Available time on Math Classes” (which lists all possible date/time slots as text in the format “M/D/YYYY h:mm A” as a linked record). In PT, after a student picks the first date, I use a formula to calculate three more weekly dates. Then I add a filter to find each date in “Available time on Math Classes” and hide them, so whenever the students are willing to book a date and time the other students can't book the same date/time.Despite having matching text formats (and manual searches confirming these slots exist), the Find records step in the automation always returns “No records found.” I need help pinpointing why the automation won’t recognize an exact text match and ensuring these additional dates are properly found and marked as booked. Or I need a way that could hide the other three dates from “Available time on Math Classes”. Note: 1- the “Available time
I am creating a scenario in MAKE to add a new record to my student database once a student is marked as enrolled in my admission database. Everything works well, but I am facing one issue. I am able to use the HTTP Module and “Upload to Google Drive” Module to add the student photo correctly to the student database. However, I have two other file fields in the admission database that need to be synced, and they contain multiple files. How can I ensure all those files are added without missing any to the student’s database?
