In my form, the first question is “Select your company name.” There is a dropdown list of all the company name choices, which draws from a separate AirTable. The next question is “Select which product you are working on.” I currently have this dropdown list of options connected to a separate AirTable that lists all the products for every company combined. What I actually want is for that dropdown list to only populate with the names of products that the individual’s company actually sells. Question: is there a way to make it so the dropdown list only shows the products actually sold by the person’s company? How do I do this? Thanks in advance!

I’m going crazy trying to figure out how to remove spaces from this ARRAYUNIQUE. Here’s an example of what I’m getting in the rollup field: “5f286eebbd491e7410167db7”, “5f286eebbd491ee230167eaf”, “5f286eebbd491e8175167e8f” I’ve tried adding another formula field alongside this to substitute the spaces using this: SUBSTITUTE({Rollup Field},", “,”,") But it throws an ambiguous error. Oddly, it seems like the ARRAYJOIN is working fine. That defaults to no space, and it seems like you can run the SUBSTITUTE formulas over them with no issue. Are there any known differences with ARRAYUNIQUE? Any ideas on how I can strip the strings from it? Hey, I absolutely love Airtable. Is there a way to transform Airtable into a graph database and/or a way to export/integrate it so it can be usable with graph DB tools (e.g. Neo4J). Hi AirTable Community, I am creating an org chart for my company right now. The company employs 250+ people, and many of the lowest stage people of the organization share the same manager. As a result, it takes a lot of space horizontally to display all of them, which makes the visualization less comfortable. Does anyone know how to 1 - Display less fields than the upper stages (keeping only the name of the employee for example). 2 - Group all those names inside one unique box, to gain space. Hi folks, I’ve done some searching and haven’t been able to find a clear answer on this. I’m a new user to Airtable and have been looking to understand a bit more around its integration with desktop prototyping tools such as Axure. Is there any recommended desktop prototyping application that integrates with the Airtable database? I think Airtable has some functionality with forms but nothing as robust as Axure or Sketch. I know there is also Adalo integration but I believe Adalo is for mobile apps. Thanks in advance! -Marc

I’m hoping to create a script that pulls a field from an Airtable, enters it into the search bar of a website and then copy and pastes the results into another Airtable. Is that possible? How would I go about creating something like that?

A newbie here, trying to understand what is possible with Airtable. I am involved in a project that is about informing about local food products. Basically, it is a couple of text entries and a picture with each product. Ambassadors with a separate login will visit a store and take an inventory - which products are available and in which store? All products and where they can be found must be viewable via a mobile or desktop browser by anyone without logging in. Is it possible to do with Airtable? How would you do it?

Hi there - WHats the best way to show bar chart, that shows 3 month’s status? I’ve been able to do the month1 status (see attached screen), but wanted to add month2 and month3 for each stats (so each stat should have 3 bars to represent each month)

Hi there - What’s the right way to display a chart that shows 3 months of progress per status? I wanted to show a chart that has June, July, August by status (# of complete vs incomplete), so ‘complete’ bar visual will show 3 bars (for June, July, Aug) and same for the ‘incomplete’ bar. APpears to be possible based on the sample chart on airtable, but I am stuck! Help.

I’m trying to build a DB to track individual athlete scores over multiple seasons and competition categories. Hello all. I’m new to scripting in Airtable. I’ve learned a lot from this forum but cannot resolve a multi-record linking problem. I have a table of People with a field called Crafts which links to a related table “List - Crafts” which includes records for Director, Writer, Producer, and so on. In a People record, I want to populate the Crafts field with multiple values. For example, in the Person record “John Doe” the Crafts field would include Director and Writer. My code queries the “List - Crafts” table and stores the relevant record IDs into an array named idYouNeedArray. It’s my understanding you need to pass an array of strings to populate the field with multiple values however this code does nothing with the Crafts field. peopleTbl.updateRecordAsync(foundPeopleRec, { "Crafts": [ {id: idYouNeedArray} ] }); The only way I can get multiple values into the Crafts field is with this: peopleTbl.updateRecordAsync(foundPeopleRec, { "Crafts": [ {id: idYouNeedArray[0]}, {id:

Records in my Questions table are linked to a certain view within my Answers table. While viewing the Questions table, I want to create a record in Answers linked to the question. this is easy with the little “+” sign. But I want to create the new Answer record with pre-filled fields so that it matches the view to which it is linked. This would be similar to creating a record while viewing grouped records… it prefills data to match the group. Is there any way to do this?

I signed up for the free version to decide if Airtable would work with my project. It looks like from what I’ve tested and read, if you link a record in an embedded view, the linked record will only show its name. I would prefer the person to be able to click on the linked record to view it. I’ve looked at lookup fields to display the additional data and may have to go that route with multiple views since there is alot of data. I was just wondering if anyone had other suggestions.

Hi All, I have a base that acts as a Property Management System with multiple tables. Two of those tables are the “Contracts” table and “Bills” Table. I have been using the new scripting block to streamline all of the daily processes: Recording new payments received and issuing receipts, creating customised reports of income/outstanding bills reports, by City/Property/Tenant reports …etc. I am finally at the last step where i am attempting to create a script that prompts the user to insert all of the relevant contract information and creates a new contract record in my “Contracts” table, and then also automatically adds corresponding bills (in the Bills table) in the wanted frequency (i.e: 12 bills of monthly rental payments with due dates and amounts), and finally links them to the contract. However, I am getting a strange behavior when adding the bills. The creation of the contract record works just fine but when the script attempts to add the bills I get the following error: Syntax

I’m using a form to collect data. I have a checkbox at the end which is required to be ticked. But the box is very faint on certain devices! I’ve included two screenshots below. In the first one, the tickbox is there, but is almost invisible. Once ticked, the box is really easy to see, as shown in the second screenshot. I assume this is related to the theme, but I also assume that I can’t change that?

Is it possible to import from csv and overwrite the current data in airtable? We intend to use Airtable to schedule and track email campaigns. Once the campaign is created we would go back to the record and add the data for opens / clicks etc The data changes from day to day, so we need to overwrite the current data with the new data.

I’m so confused using the Dedupe block. It doesn’t MERGE anything. It just keeps the primary record. Let’s say I have a table with Name, Email, Phone, Address, and Transactions. I select find dups records as Name and Email, 2 Records appear. has the phone and transactions. has the address How do I merge the address into record 1 or the phone and transactions into record 2. So I only have one records the with Name, Email, Phone, Address, and Transactions. What am I overlooking?

I’m trying to save our school some money and create a base that allows me to use the barcode scanner to keep track of the students in the breakfast program. I want to use the barcode scanner to scan their student id when i create a new record. I have one table set up with the students info, but how do i get the other table to look up the barcode i just scanned, and see it as the student? I’m having a hard time with the logic.
