Is there a way to update manually a "Last modified by" or "Last modified time" field?We use a field to check who was the last person to update an ID field. But we sometime have to bulk update these fields for cleaning or managing the database and the "last modified by" is now entirely set to the creator/admin who made the update.- Is there a way to update manually these fields?- Is there an existing extension for this? or a script ?- Maybe there is a way to "impersonate" a user in order to set the needed values to those fields? (I tried this with the interface functionnality to see interface as another user, it did not work)Thank you very much !

Hi community,I have two table, the first one is a database synchronised with many other, fulfilled directly by stores themself and it is creating a product list. The second table is contact information about the stores.I would like to link phone, number and adress regarding the store concerned.In my screenshots, green circled data are synchronised, and the red circled one are thoose I want to import from the table "ENTREPRISE INFOS".So in "BDD ARTICLE" table, if Sync Source is "Magasin 1", I want to display information regarding "Magasin 1" in my "ENTREPRISE INFOS" table.I didn't find any way to do it, thanks a lot for your help 🙂

I have a warning that my file is over the limit of 1,000 records per base, but it only has 531 records.The warning says it has 1145 records. There is no filter applied, it only has 531 records!Nothing else is over the limit.

Hey all, sorry this topic sort of covers not only bases, but also interfaces so forgive me.We have a few itemsCourses that have a field of "Who Can Teach", this field is populated from a linked fieldThat linked field is currently derived from a synced table, Staff.  Another base has scheduling of clients, that uses the Main Instructor field to schedule an instructor.The idea is:When someone schedules a specific course, the Main Instructor field will only show instructors that have been "assigned' or elected that they can teach said course.  We use emails as a keyid across the bases, so it can't be a lookup for per se as certain automations don't work well with lookups along with other reasons lookups aren't always useful.  They have to be able to be selected by someone, and not just a list.Then there is the idea of an interface for the instructors to add themselves to a list of courses.  We have a spreadsheet where this was done for some existing courses, but i

Hello, I published two templates on airtable universe some time ago but I’m now updating/improving these templates. I’ve published the changes I’ve made but I’m wondering, do users effectively subscribe to these changes or when they copy a base does this stay as it is? For example, if I add a table or a column to the template - then update the already published base - will those who have already copied the base into their own accounts see these changes? How can you publish specific Airtable info into a Google Slide? My team uses our base for project tracking and we want to publish specific information from Airtable to Google Slides or some other presentation format. What would be a visually appealling way to publish chosen Airtable info into a living presentation?

Hi,I have been using AirTable on a regular basis.  Yesterday I noticed that my chrome browser refused to go to the website (error was certificate not valid).  Upon inspection, I found that it is because, for some reasons, my browser has been redirected to a different website (web.remscripts.com) and it is this different website that has an invalid an invalid certificate. I tried a different browser (Firefox) and I did not have the same problem there.Do you know what happened? Is the website (or my computer) infected?Thanks!

Hi there, I’m a long term user of Trello and new to Airtable. Trello had a feature where you could forward emails to your board. I would have a to-do list board and whenever I got a request emailed to me I could just forward it to the board and it would create a to-do item for me. Does this function exist within Airtable? I have a shared table that is accessible to users who are not using Airtable. They can view the table using the link I provided without any issues. Within this table, there's a "notes" column where I want to refer to another record by saying "please see here," with "here" being a URL link to another record.As an Airtable user, I can click the link and access the other record, but non-Airtable users encounter a block. They are prompted to request access to the entire database, which I'd like to avoid. Is there a way for non-Airtable users to access the record URLs in the comments section without the need to create a new column for linked records?

Hi Community,I'm trying to purchase a Teams account but I am part of an entity that is not allowed to pay taxes. The form I'm sent to has a space for a credit card and says I'll be charged "applicable taxes". I'm not actually sure what happens when I hit 'submit' after entering a credit card, is it charged then or is there some other page I get sent to? I expect the former.Is there a way to pay for Airtable without paying taxes?

I’ve created a gallery view that I want to embed in a company intranet page (SharePoint). I want people to be able to see the values and click on the links and buttons that I’ve included, but I don’t want them to click on the record and have it open, as this will likely confuse them and it shows information that they don’t need to see. I’m guessing the answer is no at this point, but is there any way to disable opening the records? If so, can the clickable fields still work?

Does the Desktop version of Airtable allow me to save files to my computer instead of everything saving to the cloud?

Hi,Looking for some guidance.  In a record, when you select the print view option, the view seems to have shrunk and now the fields overlap.  I know you can use a print extension but we use the print view option in the early stages of creating records for review purposes.  It has always worked before.  Is this a bug?  

My vendor requires me to use JotForm to submit new client data and then returns a copy of the completed form to me along with a PDF of the same data. I need to enter that same data into Airtable and wonder if there is a way to scrape/import that data from the email or PDF sent to me from the vendor.

Hello -- we have a base with about 5000 restaurants listed in it, and our editorial team needs the ability to easily put together ad-hoc lists of selections from that set.  They might start by filtering for all the records in a particular city (Chicago), but then need the ability to manually remove records from that basic set.  What's the best way to go about doing this in AT?  In FileMaker Pro (where we're migrating from), you could do a Find and then simply manually Omit records from that found set.  Is there a similar way to do this in AT?  Or would we need to do something like create a new field, and then add a value to that field for all the records we want to manually group?Thanks very much - loving AT so far!

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.I'm a new user considering upgrading to a paid sub however there is an issue which if not resolvable means Airtable would be completely useless to me.I'm in the UK so using the DD/MM/YYYY format, no problem with this, all the data formats fine.The problem comes when I try to filter view by dates, when I click on the first of October and the 31st of October as the start/end dates for my view, Airtable uses the MM/DD/YYYY format despite all my data being in DD/MM/YYYY format. Due to this the only entry that comes up was from 10/08/23 (Tenth of August). None of my October sales are visible. If there is no workaround to this then Airtable is completely useless to me.I'd be incredibly grateful if anybody could assist.p.s I'm only using Airtable to keep a record of my inventory for my part time ebay reselling, I'm not a power user so will not understand complex formulas.

Is there a way to autofill a hidden field or Date data on a form to show when that form was submitted? This to to eliminate the need of asking the user to fill in a date field.

My team uses Airtable extensively (and I'm still bitter about having to double our costs to not lose our syncs...but that's besides the point) and we have a few clients we want to help organize their data better too.  I want them to use Airtable, but I'm hesitant to ask them to pay for us to have an account to access their bases to help set them up.  So my question is: If I have an Airtable business account, is there anything stopping me from creating an account and workspace for our clients, and then just billing them for that?  There's nothing in Airtable's terms & conditions that explicitly deny this, but is there any reason I'm not seeing that makes this a bad idea?

Hi, I'm having Problems with a Script, that are very weird.I'm writing a Script that should pull Crypto Prices from CoinMarketCap. For that, I created a Table "Currencies". In this Table there are 3 Fields (for the sake of this example): "Name", "Symbol", "Price". Now in the Script Settings you can enter your API Key (not relevant here), the Table of the Currencies and a Symbol and Price Field. Now the Script should query all Symbols existing on the Table, compile them into a Comma-Separated List and query the API. Then it should fill in the Price for each Symbol. Hello, I need to make CSV exports of a table that contains several long text field cells. Each long text field contains text with carriage returns, which results on the csv as actual breaklines, which is makes it quite tedious to fix manually. Apart from NOT using any breaklines within the long text filed, (which wouldn’t be the ideal solution as we need the information contained in the field to be nicely readable and not showing as a big block), would there be another way to prevent that issue? :pray: :pleading_face: I know the topic has been raised already but unfortuantely I could not find a satisfying answer to that yet. Hi guys.I was working at the optical shop, where I set up the entire Airtable for any form of tracking our customers such as dioptries, eyewear they chose, and complex calculation so you can add the info right in front of th customers and tell them the final price. The table also got own portfolio for eyewear and its own price and specification. It was great but the only thing I struggled with was changing the price of the product (in portfolio) that was sold and reordered by me again with the higher price. If I wanted to change original price (in portfolio), it will be changed in all of customers that purchased specific product. My question: Is it possible to somehow change the price without adding the same product with a different price? for example lock the record so it does not change or any other options ? Thank you.

I've figured out how to create a formula that outputs a date that Airtable understands as a date (rather than a string of data) and have it appear on a calendar BUT is there a way to be able to drag said  item across the calendar so the dates change automatically? (as you would if you if you were just using calendar dates entries)
