Hello! Whenever I create a new record, one particular value from a Multi-Select table automatically populates. I didn't intend to do that and can't figure out how to reverse it. I've tried to figure it out on my own, but haven't been able to yet. Thanks so much for help!

I am building a custom extension which will send data from Airtable to a third party API (the user will provide their API key to this API). This third party API will then send updates to the base, which will update a given record. I cannot find any solid example of how to create a custom extension that can update a base async (this API runs twice a day) rather than when a button is clicked or another action performed by the user. I know I can use an Automation to trigger the response to the incoming webhook, but I want it to all be bundled within the extension. Is there no way to do this without having the extension and automation separate?

I'll add the times manually as the event progresses, and I want the crowd/competitors to see the details on their mobile devices WITHOUT HAVING TO REFRESH PAGE EVERY TIME.I initially thought this could be done by embedding an iFrame on a Wix site, but iFrames don't update automatically. Well, the LINK does, but the page doesn't.So then I thought maybe I could just share the view with the "share link to this view" feature, but that doesn't update automatically either.The only other thing I can think of at this stage is to get everyone to install the Airtable app and have them view it through that? Is there a way to share the link so that they can somehow see it, NOT be able to edit it, and don't have to refresh the p

Hi everyone, I noticed that when you setup a “link” field that links to the SAME table, the actions are NOT reciprocal. (It is reciprocal if the link fields are on different tables). Any way to create a reciprocal link field within the same table?

Hello,I have an issue and I already asked airtable with no hope for any replies whatsoever. I have over 80$ of credits that I transferred to my workspace. I am subscribed to a Team Plan and it says that my available credits will be automatically deducting the invoices that will come through. Instead, it goes "Charge failed" multiple times and now I have a 3 days notice before they force me to a free plan. I paid with my credit card before, but since I invited my coworkers and applied the credits. It hasn't even deducted anything. Instead it WANTS ME to avail of the plan YEARLY or another plan upgrade MONTHLY in order for the credits to be applied. I just want to remain in the monthly of my current plan.

Newish to AirTable and trying to figure out the best way to do this and can't seem to sort it out. There is a lot going on with my base and I'm stuck with this part. I'm going to try to simplify what I would like to do... On Table 1: I have created an automation to email out an AirTable form to everyone on Table 1 (which has a trigger linked to it for something else) with the AirTable form and data populating Table 2 All of that is set up and is running smoothly - This is where I'm getting stuck. I would like to create an automation to RESEND a reminder to complete the form X number of days later to anyone who has not completed the form yet. Is there a way to do this? Workarounds, formulas, ideas all welcomed. *Extra info: Reason its going into Table 2 is other people who are not on the Table 1 list may also be completing the survey 

So I have still not heard back from Customer Support with my question regarding upgrading to a Business Plan. It's quite frustrating as it's an honest question on how to transition to the Business Plan from the Pro Plan. I have a client that just paid for an annual subscription around month prior to the announcement of the restructuring of Airtable plans. So in essence, there would be around 9ish months remaining on their Pro Plan.I want to know if anyone has upgraded from the Pro Plan to the Business Plan and already had money remaining on an annual subscription. More specifically transitioning from one annual subscription to a new one.If YES, how did you transition from the Pro Plan to the Business Plan?Thanks in advance! 👌

Hi. Can I send emails to my customers via Airtable?I mean, can I do it directly from the client's profile and have the entire email history stored in the client's profile? Also, I would like the emails that the client sends to me to be immediately delivered to the client's account in Airtable. The idea is that I can correspond with the client without using my Gmail account.Thanks.

In airtable it is possible to take an extented free trial (similar to team plan) if you are a student. In the discription on the website of Airtable.com can you find that this trail is '6 months to 24 months'. How long is this student free trial then? 6 months or 24 months? Or somewhere in between?

Hi, I wonder if you can help me.  I’m stuck with a linking problem between tables in bases.Scenario:  We have several clients and some of them have completed a feedback survey(s).  I wish to create a column that counts the total number of feedback surveys completed by each client.  Clients are stored in BASE1 and completed surveys are stored in BASE2.  I have activated ‘Sync data to another base’ to make the survey table data available in BASE1 and that is all working fine.I then created a ‘Link to’ column in the Clients table and pointed it at the synced Survey table (both in BASE1).  I was expecting this ‘Link to’ column to be automatically populated with a unique reference to the survey number(s) or be blank if no survey existed.  Instead, the ‘Link to’ column is entirely blank and when I click into it, I get a pop-up to create a relationship between individual data points in the Clients and Surveys tables.  I don’t want to cr

I followed both Airtable’s and Medium’s guides for embedding table views in a Medium post. Neither work. From what I understand Medium uses embed.ly to handle how links are embedded since Medium does not support code injection into posts.With that said, what’s supposed to happen is you click embed on a Medium post, paste the share link produced in Airtable, then embed.ly works out the embed in the background. Issue is Airtable has changed the way their links are formatted since that guide and it just posts as a link now instead of an embed. I only signed up for Airtable for this EXACT feature. Any way to fix this?

Hi there, support hasn't replied to my billing question for over a week, checking my luck here in the forum.

My team uses an interface, which allows us to add new linked records (ie we pull up a record, which has a linked record field, and we have the permissions set to create that). However, when clicking create, many members of our team are finding airtable will not save. We are not getting expected errors like "required field not completed", but rather, you click "Create" and nothing happens. This is making the interface borderline impossible to use.  Would love to see this bug fixed. Thanks

Hi! I have a board that I'm creating for sales and inventory. I am using 3 tables, INVENTORY, CRM, SALES.SALES table takes products from the inventory, it comes with price and other information. Each record is linked to a client(in CRM) and the product he is buying.If the same client buys 3 products, we create 3 records. I can group them by client and filter them by date and I have a quick visual of the total sale for each client and what products he is buying.I'm having trouble exporting a “receipt“ for each client once the sale is done. I've tried page designer linked to SALES but I would need to do it for each record. I've created another table where I rollup the products by client filtered by date, but I can only use ARRAYJOIN and have them separated by a "," or something else. Any idea on how could I export this “receipt“ that has X number of products that the client bought?  

Hello,I changed my colleagues permissions to owner like me and they still cannot delete records.  I am able to execute all tasks as as an owner but this is greyed out for them. Help!

I have an airtable base with member data, including a table with basic member data and another table with scheduling selections each member makes that I then use a look up to connect. With over 50K schedule requests, I've been "over" the record limit in my base for a while. I now can't seem to add more and have hit a hard cap. Enterprise pricing is out of reach, I don't want to delete historical data because the members' usage over time is important data, and it seems like I can't separate the tables into two bases and connect them the same way using a look up. Is there any solution here or am I out of luck? 🥲

Not sure if this is a thing in the works, but I want to put it out there.Would love a way to have a records feed be able to link and viewable on Slack's new canvases. Example:Project information including dates ,brief's, who's assigned, etc linked straight from airtable linked in the slack canvas for the project it's linked it. Currently having to keep that information manually up to date. We already have all slack info on Airtable and have been using the messaging. That's all. Just an idea.

I see that the plan changes announced today introduce a new monthly limit on API calls. I'm interested to see how our current usage compares to this new limit, but I'm not seeing usage for API calls displayed in the Usage section of the workspace billing page. Is this something that we should expect to see on that page soon? Or what is the recommended way to see how accounts are tracking with respect to this new monthly limitation. 

Hello, new to Air Table but experienced with programming and sheets etc., I am just trying to just show a date field on a form and have it default to the current date, i was reading a bunch of different answers but it is not very clear how to do this.  I looked into prefill_DATE=today() on URL, and also looked into automation but I didn't see how to do this.  Also looked into formula field but I don't see an option for formula field.Also want to be able to save date and time into a database field, how is this possible? Someone mentioned adding a Creation Time field but that didn't work either...

I'm currently in Seoul, South Korea. I'm working with a partner based in NYC. I'm looking to set the timezone of specific fields to EDT as this team needs to automate workflows for the upcoming [tomorrow]'s day's work. I failed to post this last night but at a little after 11p last night (9/5), I was seeing the attached date and time for EDT. It incorrectly reads 9/4/23, 8PM instead of 9/5, approximately 10a. Is there a big or some sort of rigid schedule that the timezone function calculates against? Is it not real time? I need to figure this out ASAP. Please advise. Thank you

Hi--I am looking to create an ecommerce site using Squarespace. I have an airtable base where each record represents a product I want to sell on the website. I was able to create a frame where you can view the airtable base from the website, however, I want each record to be an individual product you can buy on the squaretable website. Any ideas on how to do this?

Hi community,It seems there is no possibility to delete comments made on records by other users.I am the base manager (owner), and would appreciate the possibility to remove comments made by others without asking each person to delete their own comments. Some of them, furthermore, are not on the team anymore (no more access to base).Any way to work around this limitation? Wouldn't it be useful to make base owners able to delete other collaborators' comments?Thanks for your consideration

Hi, I am currently developing the check in and check out for a laundry and I generated their dashboard so they can see the result of their operation per day.As a context for the issue I have the following.Each service order has an entry date and an exit date, as well as an amount that you were able to leave at the time you left your service or pay at the end.The issue I have is that it is not possible for me to do the sum of the inputs with the total of the outputs (total ingresos).The result that should be in this field when I see the information at grid level is added, but when I put the field that has this data, it only gives me the income part.I have already tried to put conditions in the number so that it can bring me all the informati

Heard back from support again today, and it’s not good news.They apologized for being the bearer of bad news, but apparently the decision to only give us three weeks to change to the new plans was a deliberate one.  They made it sound like they had attempted to get the product team to change their mind on this (which makes this feel like a rather disjointed company) but in the end, the product team decided to tell us all to take our multi-source syncs and API calls and shove them right up our asses.Here’s the thing I don’t get: in my case, the biggest issue we have is the lack of multi-source syncing.  Support basically said, “well, just sync multiple tables and use linked records, you fking dummie.”  But like, that obviously doesn’t result in any less syncs running on the backend (or reduced compute cost

Is it possible to “pin” groups even when they’re empty? I am creating a table and I wanted to group tasks by “Completed” and “In Progress” tasks. However, I’m wondering if it’s possible to keep the “Completed” group visible along with the “In Progress” group even if all the tasks are still in progress. Would that be possible? Thank you!
