Hi everyone! 👋I’m running into a weird behavior when working with Google Sheets and wanted to see if anyone here has ideas or has run into something similar.Every time I add a new row manually (or via automation), the new row is not being added at the bottom of my sheet — instead it’s always inserting at row 1257, pushing all existing rows below that down. I expected new rows to be added to the end of the data range.Here’s what I’ve noticed so far: The sheet definitely has data below row 1257. New rows always appear at 1257, not at the lowest existing row. I’m working either manually or via a script/automation (could be Apps Script/Zapier/Make/Webhook). Has anyone seen this happen before?Does anyone know what settings, filters, named ranges, scripts, or other quirks might cause Sheets to treat row 1257 as “the end” of the sheet?Happy to provide screenshots or more context if needed. I’d like to build a base to track our produce prescription program. We have coupons with barcodes to distribute to the patients. Ideally I’d like the health worker to use a barcode scanner to scan the first coupon and the last coupon for each patient. Then I need to populate a table of all the coupons distributed within that range for each patient. I currently have a table set up for “patients” where health workers would assign the coupons. Then I have a table for “Coupons” where I’d like the records to be each coupon code distributed. Any help in how to do this would be appreciated!

Hello,I have an events table with several events, each taking place on a different date. (Example: Event 1 on January 1st, Event 2 on February 1st, etc.)I would like people to be able to sign up as volunteers for one-hour slots for each of these events.What database structure would you recommend I create?Could I automate this process so that, once an event is created, it populates a new "slot" table by creating x new rows linked to each event, each row representing a different time slot?(Row 1: Event 1 - 9am to 10amRow 2: Event 1 - 10am to 11ametc.)Thank you very much for your help!

Hey allI have been losing my mind over the last 5 hours.I have a trigger when a record matches conditions to see if some fields are not empty.Then I have a conditional logic step that checks to see what data is in those fields and then execute if they are true.If it does execute, I find a bunch of records. And then I run a nested Repeat for each using the list from the find records step.In the repeat loop, I am going to create a new record. But...none of the data from teh current item is getting passed into the create records step.The weird thing is the preview shows there is data coming in...but the create record step, or a script step because I tried that too, is just not getting the data from the Current Item.Here is my automationHere you can see the data from the Current Item  Here you can see the previewBut then I run the create step and that data is NOT getting to the create step. Have a gameshow production (semi-professional/educational demo) for digital arts career pathway program high school class in Southern California. Producer/instructor is a 30+ year veteran TV gameshow producer in the US and UK with a background in computer programming and game design. He is my client and I am trying to pull this component of the production together at the 11th hour with our taping scheduled for early September. We’ve already used Airtable to map out a lot of game structure and populate some test data. There are major functional concerns though including data validation and utilizing the data for realtime stage ques, contestant data interfaces, on-stage visuals, or on-screen events in post-production. We need someone that can adapt our Airtable base into a functional, interactive, multi-user gaming system. I’m making an Airtable project where I want to show prefilled form or prefilled interface page in form layout. I’m able to prefill both but I also want to have some fields to be non-editable. Is that possible in Airtable?

The functionality to load all records is phenomenally slow - like on the order of 5 minutes in a dataset with 15,000 records. Before the 1000-records-only initial view, the full set of records would load within 30 seconds. 

Hi everyone,I have an automation that matches keywords to a record. In this case it’s a person and their biography, e.g. I want to tag Neil Armstrong with Astronaut — chosen from a fixed list. NB. I have tried the deep match and it’s too slow for the volume I’m working with.Table A: ProfilesTable B: KeywordsIt compares the two and selects very well, but sometimes it invents new keywords. If I don’t allow the keywords field to be edited by automations, I get nothing. Does anyone have any bright ideas? Would this be better as a script (I had a script a year ago but can’t remember why I changed)Screenshot attached so you can see how I set it up.  

Is there any update on when the Deep Match feature will be generally available? A company I am working with doesn’t have the AI Labs setting available.

Hi group,  Wanted to ask you about how you manage user management. I get a lot of questions from our organisation about “who can add me to Airtable”, and so far it’s just me managing our groups (I’ve made groups based on permission rights and what interfaces they should see).I’ve seen there is an option to assign members of these groups to be the group admins. I’m wondering if it’s worth making one user per team an admin, so they can manage access rights for their area without always going through me.How do you manage this? any good tips?

I'm working on a project where we use:- Postgres for our production app database - Airtable for our internal team (support, ops) The challenge: keeping them in sync without writing fragile scripts.Curious what others in this situation are doing:1. Are you using Zapier? (I find it too slow)2. Custom scripts with webhooks? (maintenance nightmare for us)3. Some other tool I haven't discovered?4. Hi all,I'm excited about the new Deep Matching functionality in AI Labs, but I haven’t been able to get any results yet. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Tested with both large live tables (10k–50k records) and small test tables (10 records) Used conditional filtering to narrow results down to a single expected record Tried multiple models (GPT-4.1 Mini, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5) Has anyone been able to get results successfully? If so, I’d love to hear what worked for you.Thanks!

Hi, We’re currently running our business using a software package called Squeegee, but we’ve reached the point where it doesn’t allow us to scale effectively. We’re now looking to build stronger internal systems using Airtable and modern automation tools. I keep getting this message and ive done this same thing a bunch of times before: {{Make sure you enabled the following scopes for your token:data.records:readdata.records:writeschema.bases:read}}  Its kind of hard to miss these exact words while comparing them slowly  to ensure accuracy. It just wont attach the scopes to my api token. Im not sure what in missing and i should not be missing anything, its pretty simple to do as ive done before so what changed now when i have changed nothing?

I received some interesting info about the new portals feature and have filled out the stupid sales form (because I have an enterprise account) but no one seems to want to help me. Sad that I’m having to go these lengths given that I THINK the feature might actually be valuable enough for me to waste my time trying to track down a person.  Hoping some will route this to someone.
