Hello I’m trying to query one of my tables and only return a list of records based on a list of record IDs. How would I write the filterByFomula query? I tried to join a series of queries like filterByFormula=(AND((_id%3D'{{record_id_1}}'),(_id%3D'{{record_id_2}}'))) However this didn’t work.

Hey AT Community! Is there a way to remove the tail ends from formulas in bulk? Example- I have 3 urls in 3 different rows: https://google.com/index?test https://yahoo.com/example?test https://apple.com/ending?test Using a formula (or something else) I’d like to get rid of the tails so that I am left with: https://google.com/ https://yahoo.com/ https://apple.com/ I feel like this should be possible? Hi I have set up an automation to send customers an automated email which includes a pdf link to their campaign report. The link works fine in airtable, but when included in the automation we can see the code is changed (underscore removed). I am creating a base that will track my staff’s required training classes. The classes vary in their renewal times, some only have to be taken once, some are required to be taken yearly, every 3 or 5 years. I created the following tables: Staff - contains Name and other pertinent info. Classes - lists all the required classes and their expiration times in number of years: 1, 3, 5. I created a table for training records and linked the staff and class names to this table, along with training date (date the staff took the class) and if it is the newest record (as there will be multiples.): This is what I would like to happen and I don’t know where to start: I would like to set up an automation that sends out an email when a staff is within 90 , 60, and 30 days of the class expiring. This would entail taking the Training Date from the Training table and the expiration time from the classes table using a formula to add the years to the training date and return the expired date. Hi guys, I’m having a slight issue with a synced table. It has added 6 blank records that don’t exist on the source table and that weren’t there after the destination table was created/before the sync. There’s definitely nothing to delete (first thought was pesky blank records that have been created accidentally in the source table), and I have run the sync multiple times in case there was anything that needed refreshing (even though there were never any blank records in the source table). And I can’t delete them on the destination table. I also don’t want to risk breaking the sync, as these have a lot of linked records within the destination base that I can’t risk losing. Any thoughts?

I’m pulling in a Webflow form into Airtable using the web hook automation. There is a checkbox on the form to select that you would like to receive marketing emails. I’m have some trouble getting the checkbox status to feed into Airtable properly. I have the checkbox configured to be Dynamic and I have selected the data field that came in but every time I run it I get an error. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you J

Hello, In my base, the records are records of different meetings. These meetings are recurring. When I set the Google calendar automation, Airtable sends an email for each meeting. I do not want to send too many emails. For example there are 10 meetings Is there any way to create Google event for these 10 meetings without sending 10 google event mails?

Hi all, I would like to retrieve data from an API and update fields to a table. I have had trouble finding a basic example of this. I have been able to update one of my tables from a python module which really simplifies things but if I could remove the python from the process and simply do it in a script that would be great. I know there are a million variations on this question already but I’ve read all the solutions and spent several days trying to resolve it and am still stuck. Perhaps my issue is unique, perhaps I’m just slow. I have 3 tables in my base. Trip Test, Members and Trip sign ups. Members is a list of members Trip Test is a list of trips Trip sign ups is a sign up form where a member selects which member they are in a form (from a look up of the Members list) Which ends up looking like this in grid view I am trying to create a view in Trip Test that pulls in and shows which member has signed up for each trip (preferably so that member can also be clicked on to show additional info like their photo). All I’ve ended up with though is another selection field to choose those members rather than pulling those that have already signed up. I use ARRAYUNIQUE in a Rollup to show the latest number for a field in another table. That field is a percentage field (I could make it numeric too, no problem) The percentage/number in the original field is possible to format neatly with 2 decmals. However the rollup ARRAYUNIQE (values) is showing all the decimals, which looks crap to be honest. But since it’s not numbers anymore, is there a way to make it look prettier? Right now my solution (which doesn’t work) was to make a new formula field and do this: "IF( {roll copy} = 0, BLANK(), "% "& ({roll copy} “show only two decimals”) ) Do you get what I’m looking for?

Hey, I am a sports coach and I use Airtable extensively for planning coaching activities and recording athlete results. I have created an Airtable environment where I can plan training themes on a weekly level and use the weekly plan to support the planning of the day’s training. I have a table where one record has information of the planned training week [Table: Week themes]. I give the date of the planned week to record and the formula calculates the week number from it. On the side of the individual training plan [Table: Daily plan] I enter the training day and the same formula calculates the week number there. Now I would like to use an automation that would link the records containing the same weekly number to each other. I have tried to create automation in several different ways without success. Hi There, I am trying to have airtable send me 1 email every 1st of the month with list of ALL people that have birthday in the same “current” month. So if it’s currently Oct now , then I want an email just with those that have birthdays on this month of Oct. I created a column for the DOB , then another column for the birthday month ( formulated) and another one for “current month” (today’s date). Seems I am missing something since I am not able to complete the automation part , conditions ask me to refer to a specific value and not another equal “matching field” . so , in other words, I was thinking I’ll be able to trigger the system when the month columns are matching. *I really wanted to have the email sent 10 days before that 1st of every month but now I feel this is even more complicated . lol. so the 1st will do too. I’ve got a Pro account, so I can see the counts and types (field, view, sync) of dependencies in Field Manager, but not the details. What does it mean for a field to have a VIEW dependency? It doesn’t seem that it means that particular field is shown in a view, because when I hide that field in a view, the number of view dependencies doesn’t change. Does it mean that the field appears in a shared link of a view?

I am trying to figure out how to auto-populate fields in my Projects table using text from the linked Procedures table – preferably using some type of “apply procedure” button. The Project table has two text field: Project Name and Project Details. There is also a field that links the Project to one of our Procedures. The Procedure table stores default text for the project name and project details that I want to apply to the new project when we specify the procedure to use. After the fields are pre-populated with the default from the chosen procedure, I need these text fields to remain editable from that point forward so we can customize the work as needed for each client. Not sure if this can be done outside of a script? Or if anyone has seen a script like this? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am currently using make.com to supplement some of the functions on AirTable. I have a table of my Leads, with the {Lead Status} as the focal point here. When {Lead Status} is updated to ‘Closed Won’ I want make.com to create a new record in my customer base. I’ve set up make.com to watch the {Last Modified} field (which was set to only change based on {Lead Status}) The formula used was {Lead Status} = ‘Closed Won’ Then there is a filter set up, where {Last Modified} is “now” However, nothing seems to be able to pass through the filter. Even when I set the formula in the first Watch module to AND({Lead Status} = ‘Closed Won’, {Last Modified} = {Now}) Where {Now} is a simple formula field on AT, where SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(), ‘Singapore/ Singapore’) But still, nothing passes through the filter. What can I do better here? Thank you

Hi, I’m struggling with some nested IF, AND and OR formulas. I’m trying to find if a value is within a range of numbers, and is a multiple of 5. For the range, I have the formula: IF(Value A >= 90,"Good", IF(Value A <= 150, "Bad")) <<This works To check if Value A is a multiple of 5, I have the formula: IF(OR(RIGHT("" & Value A,1) =0, RIGHT("" & Value A,1)=5),"Good", "Bad") << this works The part I am struggling with is combining them together so that: If Value A is between 90-150 and is a multiple of 5 then “Good”, otherwise “Bad” Any ideas? Hi there, I am trying to create a script that will create new records in one table based on ‘template’ records from another table, and I’m running into an issue when creating the records with Multiple Select fields. I can successfully use the “creatRecordsAsync” method to create a new record, and can successfully push a string or a boolean to the record. But when I try to create a new record and push a Multiple Select value in, it is erroring out. The string value that I am trying to push in matches the string value of the Multiple Select option in my target table. But I am getting this error when I run the script: Error: Field “fldntpeWlvbdfgN8Z” cannot accept the provided value. Any insight? I’m guessing I need to find out the id of the Multiple Select value I’m trying to push somehow?

I have a script that generates the complete contents of an HTML file. I’d like to output this HTML file as an attachment in a field. Is it necessary to call off to an outside service in order to create an attachment with that HTML content? I don’t need the URL of the attachment to persist very long. The usecase is I need a non-technical person to be able to download the HTML file after it is generated with variables that person has just specified. I have a version of this working using GCP, but I’m wondering… can be done entirely within Airtable?
