Hello, the default Delete duplicates extension is awesome to remove with one click all duplicated records at once but have a little problem, its removing new records and keep first one, how i can invert the process and keep the last record instead of forst ? remove then all old records and not new. here is the default code : let settings = input.config({ title: 'Delete duplicates', description: `This script will delete duplicate records in a given table according to the value of two input fields. I’m using airtable as a way to keep a product catalog for my company, both out of stock, and currently available products are listed, as to help customers compare products they like but may be out of stock, against our current inventory. Is there a way to script some code to identify specific markers (Flavors, similar categories, etc.) based on user selection/input, and for airtable to automatically recommend a similar product? I’m not well versed in coding, so any assistance would be appreciated!

Hey all! So I wanted to create an event, and CLEAR or DELETE the Google Calendar even when a checkbox/flag is clicked. This would be used when we cancel or reschedule but don’t want to delete the original entry. Currently I have three automations: These all work beautifully, but I wanted one more automation, unless the #2 could also update, but figured it’d be better to keep it separated as its own unique automation. Any ideas? I don’t see an option “Delete Google Calendar Event”. Thanks. Sean L

Hi I am trying to create an airtable with resources, rate, jobs no. quantity, amount and total. To do this I have created a master of inventory type with rate against each item. Eg: Small Carton $ 5, Large Carton $10 etc. Now I want to use that data for different jobs numbers. In each job i want to track the different types of resources used, quantity used, cost of each resources and total cost of resources used for each job. Eg: Job no. 50 - Small Carton $5 x Quantity 2 = $ 10 Large Carton $10 x Quantity 2 = $ 20 Total Cost = $30 Eg: Job no. 51 - Small Carton $5 x Quantity 1 = $ 5 Large Carton $10 x Quantity 2 = $ 20 Total Cost = $25 Eg: Job no. 52 - Small Carton $5 x Quantity 0 = $ 0 Large Carton $10 x Quantity 2 = $ 20 Total Cost = $20 Could you please help. i’m seeing some very strange behavior in one tab of my base. my colleague duplicated the tab from another tab that was called “9/15 NYS Budget” and then renamed it. in the new tab, whenever you right click, instead of the options saying things like “delete record” or “insert record above,” it says “delete budget” and “insert budget above.” i made a copy of the new table including duplicating records and the behavior goes away. it’s not really impacting our functionality, but it’s very strange and caused some concern for my colleague! any thoughts? anyone seen something like this before?

Hey all, Hoping a relatively simple question! When you add a linked record column, it gives you the option to add multiple lookup columns (associated with that record). Is there anyway you can add multiple lookup columns AFTER you’ve created the linked record?

Is it possible to select records in scripting with specific conditions? If I wanted to get all the records that have a field value of green, how would I write that query? I don’t want to just get all the records; I want specific records with more than 100 results.

Hi, I am trying to automate an update of the “Date of Last Interaction” field in multiple linked companies (records) in my ‘Companies’ table with information from the “Date of Interaction” field in my ‘Interactions’ table when an interaction (a record) is added into ‘Interactions’. I was able to successfully update "Date of Last Interaction with the day the record is created/edited following this forum post. However, I want to update this with information pulled from the “Date of Interaction” field in my ‘Interactions’ table instead. How to automatically obtain the daily exchange rate and add the corresponding record in the specified table.

example URL = Sign in - Airtable example API = keyMYCOOLKEY This is what I have and what I am working with. The system that I have set up connects to the above URL and gets HTML back… Don’t know if that is correct, but the end goal is to retrieve JSON data for data import. The issue is that when I use the URL, it displays the HTML page but says it needs a login. At no time does it require my API key. A PHP curl test reveals : "Found. Redirecting to /login?continue=%2FappiKlBfTyvFfarTu%2FtbliOpnbcxQauIudo%2Fviw7uPlqwOjhTydwt%3Fblocks%3Dhide&redirectSource=liveapp" When I use a bogus app/tbl/viw, then it returns an HTML that says the page cannot be found. To summarize, the URL seems to be working that I have although it needs a login in order to return a HTML with the correct JSON data. How can I approach this, so that the correct data is returned while also using the API key? What I have done I tried using https://api.airtable/app… with curl and passing Bearer and the API key. Hi, i created a table for Purchase Orders (POs), and a sub/child-table for the Order Lines (OLs). Example: PO-1 OL-1 OL-2 PO-2 OL-1 OL-2 Etc What formulas or workaround do you recommend me to get a column at the OL table with the Order Line Number automatically starting again from 1 each time that the first line of a PO is created? Hello. I am having some trouble with automations for email reminders. I am using the formula below to create the condition that will be used in the automation. When entering the start date and time, I can’t seem to enter this information quickly enough without either a) the date appearing as a partial of the real date (eg “9/1” instead of “9/16”) and thus triggering an email immediately, or b) the auto-populated time for the date (the current time) appearing and thus triggering an email. I can tell this is happening because the start time field appears in the email header as “9/1/2022” instead of “9/16/2022” for example. Is there any way to get the system to give you a few seconds to enter things before jumping the gun? Thanks! How do I get my projects (which is a primary field), to be linked to my tasks records? For some reason when I link two tables, they do not appear on the table to be linked. Here is the project tab, with the projects being the primary field Here is the Tasks field where the project field should be linked to I add the linked “tasks” field from the Tasks table And the linked field from the Projects table does not show up in the Tasks Table

I have a a base that has a set IDs (600+ unique IDs). I need to update their status’s weekly but the report to update has over 9000+ IDs. I only want to update my 600 without adding any other records to it. Is that possible with the CSV import extension?

I’m hoping someone can help me with a simple formula. I currently have a formula that counts the months between a start date and today’s date and displays it in months as whole numbers (ie, 2 months, 5 months, etc). The issue with just a whole number for months is that at 3 months and 29 days, it will show “3 months”, and at 3 months and 1 day, it will also show as “3 months”. A more accurate figure would be helpful. I also need the figure displayed in months, so the display in just weeks (ie, 9 weeks) or just days (ie, 52 days) wouldn’t be helpful in this case. I’m hoping there is a way to make it display in months with one decimal place (ie, 2.3 months, 5.7 months). I’d also settle for something similar such as “2 months 14 days” or even “3 months / 2 weeks”. I’ve tried using the formatting function within the settings and set it to “decimal” with a precision of “1.0” but it still just shows it as the whole number for the month with a “.0” at the end. When I try deleting a record, it says “Unable to delete record. This table is configured so nobody can delete records”. Might it be something an administrator set? I duplicated the base and its still not allowing me to delete. Any suggestions?

Hey clever people, I got following single line txt fields in my table: {Prefix}, {First Name}, {Last Name}, {Suffix}. I already use a formula to concenate this data: CONCATENATE({Prefix}," “,{First Name},” “,{Last Name},” ",{Suffix}) … this works fine. My problem/question, is it possible to make a formula that will put between {Last Name} and {Suffix} a comma if {Suffix} is not empty/null, instead of the space like above. If I replace the space with a comma it will obviously be everywhere, what I don´t want. For example: Prefix (Dr.), First Name (John), Last Name (Miller), Suffix (M.Sc.) - Formula Result: Dr. John Miller, MSc. Hi, we have a new collaborator that can’t add or edit any airtabels in the workspace. He has creator and editor permissions. Very frustrating, how do we fix it? We’ve tried logging in and out, as well as adding and removing him as a creator. Thank you!

I have set up a simple automation where the trigger is an email being put into a particular folder on my Outlook email system. This then triggers the creation of a task, taking some of the information from the email. It runs perfectly when you test it, so I then made it live and put 5 emails into this folder. Only 2 have come across as tasks - I simply can not work out why the others haven’t (I left it overnight, so assuming it isn’t a timing issue). Any help / pointers on this would be much appreciated.

I have a form with a cover image and logo. Up until today the images displayed properly, however now they appear as broken image. Additionally I have a small table with a few images in it and they are now also appearing as broken images. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I see some older posts where this was resolved but it seems to be happening again, at least to me. Re-uploading images has not helped either, it just ends up with the same result.
