I use ARRAYUNIQUE in a Rollup to show the latest number for a field in another table. That field is a percentage field (I could make it numeric too, no problem) The percentage/number in the original field is possible to format neatly with 2 decmals. However the rollup ARRAYUNIQE (values) is showing all the decimals, which looks crap to be honest. But since it’s not numbers anymore, is there a way to make it look prettier? Right now my solution (which doesn’t work) was to make a new formula field and do this: "IF( {roll copy} = 0, BLANK(), "% "& ({roll copy} “show only two decimals”) ) Do you get what I’m looking for?

Hey, I am a sports coach and I use Airtable extensively for planning coaching activities and recording athlete results. I have created an Airtable environment where I can plan training themes on a weekly level and use the weekly plan to support the planning of the day’s training. I have a table where one record has information of the planned training week [Table: Week themes]. I give the date of the planned week to record and the formula calculates the week number from it. On the side of the individual training plan [Table: Daily plan] I enter the training day and the same formula calculates the week number there. Now I would like to use an automation that would link the records containing the same weekly number to each other. I have tried to create automation in several different ways without success. Hi There, I am trying to have airtable send me 1 email every 1st of the month with list of ALL people that have birthday in the same “current” month. So if it’s currently Oct now , then I want an email just with those that have birthdays on this month of Oct. I created a column for the DOB , then another column for the birthday month ( formulated) and another one for “current month” (today’s date). Seems I am missing something since I am not able to complete the automation part , conditions ask me to refer to a specific value and not another equal “matching field” . so , in other words, I was thinking I’ll be able to trigger the system when the month columns are matching. *I really wanted to have the email sent 10 days before that 1st of every month but now I feel this is even more complicated . lol. so the 1st will do too. Any ideas ? Tnx in advance .

I’ve got a Pro account, so I can see the counts and types (field, view, sync) of dependencies in Field Manager, but not the details. What does it mean for a field to have a VIEW dependency? It doesn’t seem that it means that particular field is shown in a view, because when I hide that field in a view, the number of view dependencies doesn’t change. Does it mean that the field appears in a shared link of a view?

Hello, Looking for a method to count records in another table. In this case, I have a table with part numbers and their associated product. In another table, I want to count for each product, how many parts are in it by counting the part numbers from the first table. TYIA

I am trying to figure out how to auto-populate fields in my Projects table using text from the linked Procedures table – preferably using some type of “apply procedure” button. The Project table has two text field: Project Name and Project Details. There is also a field that links the Project to one of our Procedures. The Procedure table stores default text for the project name and project details that I want to apply to the new project when we specify the procedure to use. After the fields are pre-populated with the default from the chosen procedure, I need these text fields to remain editable from that point forward so we can customize the work as needed for each client. Not sure if this can be done outside of a script? Or if anyone has seen a script like this? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am currently using make.com to supplement some of the functions on AirTable. I have a table of my Leads, with the {Lead Status} as the focal point here. When {Lead Status} is updated to ‘Closed Won’ I want make.com to create a new record in my customer base. I’ve set up make.com to watch the {Last Modified} field (which was set to only change based on {Lead Status}) The formula used was {Lead Status} = ‘Closed Won’ Then there is a filter set up, where {Last Modified} is “now” However, nothing seems to be able to pass through the filter. Even when I set the formula in the first Watch module to AND({Lead Status} = ‘Closed Won’, {Last Modified} = {Now}) Where {Now} is a simple formula field on AT, where SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(), ‘Singapore/ Singapore’) But still, nothing passes through the filter. What can I do better here? Thank you

Hi, I’m struggling with some nested IF, AND and OR formulas. I’m trying to find if a value is within a range of numbers, and is a multiple of 5. For the range, I have the formula: IF(Value A >= 90,"Good", IF(Value A <= 150, "Bad")) <<This works To check if Value A is a multiple of 5, I have the formula: IF(OR(RIGHT("" & Value A,1) =0, RIGHT("" & Value A,1)=5),"Good", "Bad") << this works The part I am struggling with is combining them together so that: If Value A is between 90-150 and is a multiple of 5 then “Good”, otherwise “Bad” Any ideas? Transmission pièces justificatives”. I am following the syntax of your blog post, but nothing works. What’s weird is that when I duplicate the field and try to pre-populate the duplicated field, it works without a hitch. Could you please help me? Thank you.

Hi there, I am trying to create a script that will create new records in one table based on ‘template’ records from another table, and I’m running into an issue when creating the records with Multiple Select fields. I can successfully use the “creatRecordsAsync” method to create a new record, and can successfully push a string or a boolean to the record. But when I try to create a new record and push a Multiple Select value in, it is erroring out. The string value that I am trying to push in matches the string value of the Multiple Select option in my target table. But I am getting this error when I run the script: Error: Field “fldntpeWlvbdfgN8Z” cannot accept the provided value. Any insight? I’m guessing I need to find out the id of the Multiple Select value I’m trying to push somehow?

I have a script that generates the complete contents of an HTML file. I’d like to output this HTML file as an attachment in a field. Is it necessary to call off to an outside service in order to create an attachment with that HTML content? I don’t need the URL of the attachment to persist very long. The usecase is I need a non-technical person to be able to download the HTML file after it is generated with variables that person has just specified. I have a version of this working using GCP, but I’m wondering… can be done entirely within Airtable?

I am working with the Airtable API in GoLang and I am using this client. I have 150 records. I am trying to fetch the first 50, then next 50 and so on. I do this by sending the following HTTP request (with the help of the client): /v0/appXXXXXXX/tblXXXXXXXcellFormat=string&offset=50&pageSize=50&sort%5B0%5D%5Bdirection%5D=asc&sort%5B0%5D%5Bfield%5D=Name&timeZone=Europe%2FLondo n&userLocale=en-gb Note the &offset=50. When I send this request I get the following error: “error”:{“type”:“INVALID_OFFSET_VALUE”,“message”:“The value of offset 50 is invalid” I have tried removing the offset parameter and it gets me the first 50, but how am I supposed to get the next 50! Hello, I am building an automation to create a record when an email is received. Each of these records also need to include an attachment that is received with this email. Is there a way that I can import that attachment into airtable as well.

Hi, Airtable community! I’m writing a script in the Automations tab. My first trigger creates a new record called newEntityId. I want to link that newEntityId record to another record I’ve created in the script. My problem is that you can only get the record ID from the newly created record and the field type I want to link to is “Link to another record” which requires the object/record type. I’ve made a solution that works but throws an error. Our employees are paid in multiple ways. First, the amount of Revenue they generate dictates Hourly Pay Rate for the week. We are able to import all revenue transactions from our CRM via .csv Revenue Report files. We have a chart that displays Hourly Pay Rate by Weekly Revenue level in the base as well. An Airtable form is used to capture timesheet entries from the field on a daily basis. The number of hours entered is applied to the Hourly Pay Rate to generate Straight Time and Overtime pay. Additionally, we pay bonuses for certain high value items that are sold (commissions are on another rate sheet in the base). Again, we use an Airtable form for field reps to submit bonus items that have been sold. Finally, in all situations, we are using DateTime functions to identify the Week of the Year for pay periods (Sunday through Saturday). So, all transactions include a Pay Period (Week of the year) in the records. All of this data is in the base in the following tables: Revenue Timesheet

Hi everyone, first off, my skills are a bit basic, so I hope you have patience with me… I have a text field in which multiple numbers are being output by an automation and separated with a comma (it displays the file size of attachments.) My goal is now to get the sum of all of these numbers in a formula field (I want to display the total filesize of all numbers combined). I have tried using VALUE(Internal Notes) but in that case the numbers are just mashed together and not being calculated at all. So instead of “100200” I want this to display “300”. Can anyone help me out on what to do? Or should this be resolved using scripts or something else? Any help would be much appreciated.

So I have 2 bases, let’s say A and B. Table 1 in Base A is synced to Base B. When 2 records with the same name lets say X are created in base A table 1, they enter a view on the synced table on B. When they enter this view an automation runs to create two new records in base B table 2 with the same name (dynamic field value). However when X and X are created in base A, I only want one new record to be created in base B’s table (when the name is exactly the same). What would be the easiest way to have the automation only create 1 new record named X? And it would be a bonus if I could have the new record in base b’s version field number to fill out as 2 when there are 2, 3 when there are 3 records with same name in base A and so on. Thanks!

Is there any option to directly fetch the collaborator name whoever is entering the record? I am using a shared base. If the above thing is possible, is it also possible using forms? Thank you in advance.
