I’m setting up an Integromat integration to watch for Google Form responses and create new Airtable records accordingly. I’ve got pretty much everything working with the exception of one field… In my Google form it’s a multi-checkbox answer for the instruments people play, which (I believe) returns a comma-separated text string - or possibly it’s already treated as an array, I’m not sure. The values from that need to go into a Multi Select field in Airtable. The values in both the Google Form and the Airtable field are identical. From what I’ve found, I think this is going to involve some kind of array parsing, but I just cannot figure out what I should do in Integromat - their own documentation on this is not at all clear, so I was hoping someone here would be able to help me out.

Hello everyone, I am quite new to the Airtable world and for this I ask you for help. I have 1 base with 1 Employees table (with all the personal data) and 1 table with the relative data refresher courses and related expiration dates, type of certification, etc. (each employee can participate in many courses) What is the correct setting of the 2 tables like the definition of the primary fields? Hey all, I’ve been working on a Powershell script that creates many text files of various directories scattered on a network. Each text file contains lists of the file content of a network directory, name and extension. I figured I may as well use Airtable to audit each text file - which it does well. But the catch is, I’m not sure how I can actually parse a text file that I’ve uploaded into the Airtable attachments field into a Long Text field. Can this be done via an Automation? It was great when I discovered that I could bulk upload Text.txt files into separate records via the Gallery View Yellow button, simply select a bunch of files and drag it to the button - Excellent - that solved my first hurdle!!! But… now… I’m slightly concerned that as easy as those text files were to upload, I’ve no actual method to copy their content into a Long Text field and then do my usual Airtable formula thing to pull the text data apart. Appreciate any guidance on this! Perhaps I’ve gone about this

I have a series of views which capture items at various stages in a process based on filters of the dates and values, but I am hoping to get a daily snapshot of the queue sizes which can be exported into a excel report to show the progress and change of any bottlenecks. Is there a way to capture the number of items in a view, and if so for a given period in time? I was originally thinking of using an automation trigger based on a value that calculates which view it should be in, but time triggers do not seem to look at anything that isn’t time related.

Hello. I have a table that it is filled using a forms. there are two fields coming from two other tables that are selected by the customer. I need a formula column where it analyzes the two filled fields and returns the result (remuneration) based on a third table (remuneration_table). below I am attaching a photo to illustrate. basically I need the formula to return the candidate’s remuneration based on the sector and position he will be hired. Could someone help me?

I have a date formula to work out the number of days between 2 dates, if either or both of the dates are blank, it returns NaN, how can I amend the formula to only perform the calculation if both fields are populated? I’m working on a table where I have different currencies (in separate columns) and need to convert them all to one currency. I have a column marking the currency used and so the conditional if statement uses this to have a different calculation for each statement. However, for some reason, the formula doesn’t work but it does not return an error, it simply returns a blank Cell, so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Please HELP. IF({Currency} = “MXN”, {Amount in MXN}/{FX}, IF({Currency} = “EUR”, {Amount in EUR}*{FX}, IF({Currency} = “USD”,{Amount in USD}))) I know about the Currency converter app, but due to the Terms and conditions/privacy settings, I can’t use it.

Hello all. I’m trying to append the value of a specific field to the end of a URL that’s opened by clicking on a button field. For example, I have a field called ‘Deal ID’ and it has different values for each record. Example - Deal ID = 123456 URL = www.google.com/ What is the URL formula for if I wanted to append this ‘Deal ID’ on to the same URL for each record. I tried “www.google.com/{Deal ID}” but it didn’t work. Thanks Dan

Its probably a simple formula…but here goes… I have a record in airtable that looks like this: The A, B, C represent the responses to survey What I want to do is COUNT the number of each letter - so for example A = 3 B = 1 C = 2 E = 1 I have got as far as: IF({Col1}=‘A’,1,0) and that returns the 1 (in this example) What does the formula look like to check in Col2 - Col7 contains ‘A’ and then give me the total of 3? I hope that explains what I am trying to do clearly :grimacing: :nerd_face: Thanks in advance.

This is killing me. It’s literally the last speedbump in my first Airtable script: I have this command: await email.updateRecordAsync(dateArray[i][0],{‘ActualFieldName’ : linkID}); It works! But THIS… await email.updateRecordAsync(dateArray[i][0],{fieldVar : linkID}); DOESN’T WORK. Even with the single-quotes gone, the system is still parsing my defined and assigned fieldVar as the string “fieldVar”. It’s maddening. Any ideas?

Hello! I’d like to have a set of single select options that indicate a follow-up timeframe. Example: 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months… I’d then like to have an automation generate what that date would be, where the automation would take the record created date + that amount of time (2 wks, 1 month, etc.) The date generated by the automation would drive a view that looks for any follow-up dates within a week’s time span. I know how to create the view, I’m just hoping that it’s possible to create the automation to update the follow date field based on the option chosen within the single select field. Is this at all possible? Thanks in advance!

Hello, We are trying to use an API key generated by myself (the owner) and it works fine to read data, but not when we try to write data (It says ‘You are not authorized to perform this operation’). Let’s say I have a table with few rows - each one has a uniq ID Can a button cell have a script that will identify the ID in which he was called? for example - this is my table: id. Button 1 Click 2 Click when I click on the button on the first row - I can see what is also the id of this row.

I have 3 columns that have data, and for any given record, only 1 of those columns will have data. I’d like a 4th column to populate the data that’s in whichever of the 3 columns has data. Examples: Column A = Blank, Column B = Blank, Column C = ABC, then Column D = ABC Column A = XYZ, Column B = Blank, Column C = Blank, then Column D = XYZ Column A = Blank, Column B = MNO, Column C = Blank, then Column D = MNO I cannot for the life of me figure out an IF/AND or a nested IF statement(s) that will make this work. Hello everyone, I am creating a script that will ask the user for a project name and a hand-over date, and then the script will generate a number of records with subsequent dates (to create a Gantt chart, essentially). I want this done through the script because the intervals between the dates is always going to be the same. I am however struggling to find how to add say 5 days to the date I just collected from the user. I can’t seem to find an easy way to do it when creating a new record. Hello. I have two tables - Orders and Shipments. Orders are pre populated using an integration with Hubspot. Shipments are created manually using a ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. I want to assign Shipments to Orders by clicking on a button in the record of the ‘Order’ named something like ‘Add Shipment’. This should then open a URL for the ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. Ideally here though I want to pre fill the Order Number of the record that I clicked the button on. I have created a linked record field in the Shipments table which links to the Orders table. I have then appended the following to the URL for the button: “prefill_Order Number={RECORD_ID}” The linked record displays and I can choose the order number manually but it doesn’t pre fill. Can you let me know where I’m going wrong if possible? Thanks! Dan

Most of my attachments are no more displayed. The files name are still there but are replaced by a picture icon. The files are there too (I can download them from Airtable). Same things happen if I add new attachments : the files are imported, but are replaced by an icon. I have a presentation to a customer in a few hours…

I am trying to concatenate two columns, a percentage (based on a formula) in one column and its associated product in the other column. When I concatenate, the percent is converted to a decimal. I know to multiply this result by 100 and add ‘%’ to get the result I want. And it works for most values, but some of the decimals turn out like this: 15.920000000000002%. How do I get all resulting decimals to show as XX.XX%?

I have several tasks where a date field is filled for whatever date that task is completed. I tried to build a formula where if no date field is blank, it sets the date to TODAY() so that I can know when everything is done. It seems like this formula keeps re-updating to whatever today is everyday. If all the tasks were done Tuesday, it still keeps changing to whatever today is in that IF(***, TODAY(), BLANK()) statement. Am I doing something to cause the table to think these values are changing or do I need to use an automation trigger to accomplish this?

Hello, I’m trying to create a formula to return a value of “early deadline” if a field I have named {Application Date} contains a date less than or equal to 12/15/21. I’d also like to return a value of “Regular Deadline” if the date in the Application Date field is after 12/15/21. This is a variation of the the formulas I’ve tried: IF ({Application Deadline} <= (12/15/21),“Early Deadline” I’m wondering if I need to add anything to qualify the 12/15/21 date. The date functions I’m finding look like they compare dates in two fields on the table, where my issue is that I only have one date on the table and am comparing it to another date that is not on the table. When I try to save my formula I get an invalid formula error. Thanks in advance!!
