I have 3 columns that have data, and for any given record, only 1 of those columns will have data. I’d like a 4th column to populate the data that’s in whichever of the 3 columns has data. Examples: Column A = Blank, Column B = Blank, Column C = ABC, then Column D = ABC Column A = XYZ, Column B = Blank, Column C = Blank, then Column D = XYZ Column A = Blank, Column B = MNO, Column C = Blank, then Column D = MNO I cannot for the life of me figure out an IF/AND or a nested IF statement(s) that will make this work. Is this at all possible? Here’s a snipit of my table where I’d like Interaction ID to handle what Column D in my previous explanation would have. I appreciate any insight. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I am creating a script that will ask the user for a project name and a hand-over date, and then the script will generate a number of records with subsequent dates (to create a Gantt chart, essentially). I want this done through the script because the intervals between the dates is always going to be the same. I am however struggling to find how to add say 5 days to the date I just collected from the user. I can’t seem to find an easy way to do it when creating a new record. Hello. I have two tables - Orders and Shipments. Orders are pre populated using an integration with Hubspot. Shipments are created manually using a ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. I want to assign Shipments to Orders by clicking on a button in the record of the ‘Order’ named something like ‘Add Shipment’. This should then open a URL for the ‘Create Shipment’ form on the Shipments table. Ideally here though I want to pre fill the Order Number of the record that I clicked the button on. I have created a linked record field in the Shipments table which links to the Orders table. I have then appended the following to the URL for the button: “prefill_Order Number={RECORD_ID}” The linked record displays and I can choose the order number manually but it doesn’t pre fill. Most of my attachments are no more displayed. The files name are still there but are replaced by a picture icon. The files are there too (I can download them from Airtable). Same things happen if I add new attachments : the files are imported, but are replaced by an icon. I have a presentation to a customer in a few hours…

I am trying to concatenate two columns, a percentage (based on a formula) in one column and its associated product in the other column. When I concatenate, the percent is converted to a decimal. I know to multiply this result by 100 and add ‘%’ to get the result I want. And it works for most values, but some of the decimals turn out like this: 15.920000000000002%. How do I get all resulting decimals to show as XX.XX%?

I have several tasks where a date field is filled for whatever date that task is completed. I tried to build a formula where if no date field is blank, it sets the date to TODAY() so that I can know when everything is done. It seems like this formula keeps re-updating to whatever today is everyday. If all the tasks were done Tuesday, it still keeps changing to whatever today is in that IF(***, TODAY(), BLANK()) statement. Am I doing something to cause the table to think these values are changing or do I need to use an automation trigger to accomplish this?

Hello, I’m trying to create a formula to return a value of “early deadline” if a field I have named {Application Date} contains a date less than or equal to 12/15/21. I’d also like to return a value of “Regular Deadline” if the date in the Application Date field is after 12/15/21. This is a variation of the the formulas I’ve tried: IF ({Application Deadline} <= (12/15/21),“Early Deadline” I’m wondering if I need to add anything to qualify the 12/15/21 date. The date functions I’m finding look like they compare dates in two fields on the table, where my issue is that I only have one date on the table and am comparing it to another date that is not on the table. When I try to save my formula I get an invalid formula error. Thanks in advance!!

I created a “sandbox” base to develop this script to create a new hypertext field from a text field and a URL field: When I got it working in the test base, I copied the code into my live base. The field names were different there, so I edited the script accordingly. I ran it and it worked. This script doesn’t run automatically, so after I entered new records, I ran it again to populate the empty hypertext field in the new records. Now the script doesn’t work properly. It calls the text and the URL into the destination field, but it doesn’t format them as hypertext. Here’s the result: I checked that the destination field was long text with rich formatting enabled. The code still works in the sandbox base, so I tried copying it back into the live base (and changed the field names again in the script). Will not work, even if I create a brand new destination field for the hypertext. What could be wrong in my live base that’s keeping the URL from embedding when I’m using the same code

I’m working on a script that grabs two fields from a table as query parameters in a API GET request, gets the resulting JSON data, and updates the records in the same table for those corresponding queries. I have my for loop running fine when I limit it to 50 records (notice the IF statement) and aware of the 50 record limitation by Airtable. How do I go about refining my script so that it grabs the remaining records? I’ve been banging my head against a wall on how to do this since Friday. I have two records that I am trying to combine into one record. Each record is uniquely linked to a number of other records. What I’d like to do is copy the data from one record and paste it into the other record, without replacing what’s already in the second record.

Hello, I have already asked a similar question with no success. I will try to explain a bit better what I am trying to achieve here. I am building a website where users can send offers/bids for items on Webflow. I connected Zapier and Airtable to achieve this flow. Everything is ok, the only problem is if someone sends a bid that is lower than the highest bid it will show as the highest. I managed to see the record I want to be synced to Webflow on my airtable if I multi filter by “bid” (highest first) and “date” (latest first). The problem is that when I run Zapier, it will transfer all the data from airtable and not only the top one. Hi all - We’re wanting to setup a new Button field in our Base that when clicked, takes the user to a Shared Airtable View URL that is pre-filtered for the row of data that was selected when our button was clicked. For example, in Table 1, we have a list of Projects. In Table 2, we have tasks or deliverables, linked to each project. We’d like a button in the Projects Table (table 1) to take the user to the Tasks Table (table 2) when clicked, and pre-filter the Tasks Table by the Project ID where the button was clicked. I was playing with a mixture of existing support articles from Airtable on buttons and shared URL filters but wasn’t having any success. First I split the coordinate into lat & lon fields, for example: 41.3310413 and 19.7828039 In Google Sheets I’m using average() with correct result In Airtable the rollup with average() fails with NaN Does anyone know another way of averaging coordinates? Hello, I have a table where every record has a time field. I would like to check a checkbox when the time is today at the specified time. Using automations I managed to check the box when the date is today but the time is not considered. Is it possible to check the box at the exact time? For example, I have a record that says 12/11/2021 1:00pm. The checkbox should be checked only after 1pm and not at any time of the day. Thanks

And if {Registration date} is blank, I want the value of the formula to be blank as well (to avoid #ERROR). However, the returned value is not recognized as a date and is displayed as follows 2021-12-17t00:00:0.000z If I remove the IF statement at the beginning, it is recognized as a date format. Is there any way to resolve this?

Hi Currently, I have 3-columns Due date (date field) Overdue (formula) IF(IS_BEFORE({Due Date},TODAY()),“ :rotating_light: OVERDUE :rotating_light: ”,"") Due Now (formula) IF(IS_SAME({Due Date},TODAY()),“ :gift: NOW :gift: ”,"") I would love to see both results/formulas in the OVERDUE column. Then it is not necessary for both columns. That said, I am not finding the right way of merging these two formulas in one field/column. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Hello! I’m trying to find a way to link 1 table to multiple rows in another table within the same base. For example – The first table in the base lists all of our customers (one per row). Another table in the base includes all of the action items that should be done for each customer (they are all the same). Is there a way to link the action items table to each customer, and further, allow for items to be checked off as they are done for each individual customer, without impacting those of another customer? Hi all, I have a table where I want to have a “Cleared?” formula box that looks up if the current record also exists in a view, “Outstanding items” In plain language, if an employee in “Pre-service” view also exists in the “Outstanding Items” view, place an :x: . Otherwise, if they don’t exist in the Outstanding Items view, place a :white_check_mark: I am thinking the RECORD_ID() formula might work (catching an exception) but I can’t quite wrap my head around how to use it with a specific view.
