Hi There, I have a base that automatically date stamps when something moves through my content funnel. I would like to find a way to automatically count the number of date stamps for each month. My leads are sorted by status: First Contact, Initial & Follow Up, CAM Meeting and Play Session. When I change a leads status it automatically puts a date into the below fields so I can see how many reached each point, each month. I would like to have it so another field automatically counts how many date stamps there are in each month. For example, if I had 16 'First Contact leads and thus date stamps (as with the above image) in November, it automatically put it into the below table: Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I’m trying to use Tailwind CSS with Airtable, but I’m not quite sure how to properly integrate the CSS. For context, I’m an experienced backend developer but my frontend experience consists of simple HTML and building simple React components. I know little about different frontend build systems. I know that it’s possible to import Tailwind from the CDN, but my understanding is that requires an HTML view to add the <a> tag that handles the import. Since Airtable doesn’t expose the HTML, I’m unsure if that is possible. Does anyone know of a very simple guide that walks through creating an Airtable app with Tailwind (or any custom CSS), bundling/building it if necessary, and uploading it to Airtable?

Can a form respondent receive a copy of their form data? Can a form respondent subsequently edit their form data? I haven’t found a way to do either, so if there is a way, please point me to it :slightly_smiling_face: Many thanks for your help, Julie

I have seen several topics similar to mine but have been unable to get this automation working. My goal is to send an email per record in my summary table at the time defined in the “At a scheduled time” trigger. Each record contains, among other fields: 1) Name, 2) Email Address, 3) Lookup field with a list of items, e.g. “item 1, item 2, item 3”. So, the list of items would be different for each record. At the scheduled time I want to send one email per record to the Email Address field and include the list of items in the lookup field. I was using a Find action to locate all records in my table that have linked records, and therefore have values in the lookup field (using a view to find records). But when I preview my email, I see all the values of all linked records concatenated together, as well as all the email addresses concatenated together. I was hoping for one email per record with values from that record.

Hi Everyone, Thank you for reading my message ! I’m encountering an issue I don’t understand, as it should be pretty straightforward. Maybe one of you may help… The “Event” table is Linked to the “Invoices” Table, through the Invoice_ID’s linked record (see below) : An Event can have multiple invoices attached to it (as in multiple attendees). However in the above screenshot, the Invoice ID that you see IS NOT in the “Paid only Invoices” View, and appears anyway in the Linked record field which, as far as I understand, should not : My idea is to manage Event stock with Paid only invoices, so for me it would be very practical to have this information on this table. I don’t see anything in the Developer docs for Apps or Scripts which has the option of setting a table’s or field’s permissions. There are methods to see if the table or user has permissions to make changes, but none to set them through the API as far as I can tell. Use case: I have created an archive of a large base with many tables for posterity prior to deleting a bunch of data. I’d feel better with the archive copy locked down to prevent any modifications. It would be great to be able to for-loop through the table’s and fields to lock them down in order to prevent record deletion, new record creation, and modification. Is there a way to do this programmatically or only through the GUI?

I extract only year from date field with DATETIME_FORMAT(Date, 'YYYY') and assign it to new field. If I order by that field it isn’t recognized as number, but as a string (the option is A-Z or Z-A). How can I change it to a number?

Hi all! I need help in calculating the average value of a single select field. I tried the count(values) and it works. However, AVERAGE(values) gives me NaN. In the image 2, I’ve created a roll up field of the linked records An alternative to this is creating a field in the first table with the formula VALUE(Strategy - Top Ten Targets (Pitch 1)) and then using the roll up function on that field and works! But I want to know whether it can calculate the average just by changing the formula in the roll up field. Thanks in advance!

I have a marriage date for some people and no date for others. I created a field called THIS YEARS ANNIVERSARY as shown below. IF({Marriage Date},DATETIME_PARSE( DATETIME_FORMAT( {Marriage Date}, ‘MMMM D’ )& ’ '& YEAR( TODAY() ), ‘MMM D YYYY’ )) I need a formula for NEXT year’s anniversary. If THIS YEARS ANNIVERSARY was a simple date field, I know how to use the DATE_Add formula but I am struggling with how to use the DATE Add formula to this formula field so it is also seen as a date so I can use it as a date field in a calendar. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, Is it possible to turn automations on and off from a script? I’m trying to turn them all off automatically during weekends, so messages don’t show up until monday. My caveman way would be something like const d = new Date(); let day = d.getDay(); if (day !== 0 && day !== 6) { //Turn all automations off } Would that make any sense? Or would it be better if I leave my automations on forever and try to script them in order to only activate on weekdays? Thanks in advance

If the new record created has the product A and “3month”, you have to create 3 records : 1st record : Add the product 1, product 2 and product 3 2rd record : add the product 4, 5 and 6 … To match the product i have to add when i create record, i create a data base with : Product A : Month 1 / Product 1, 2 and 3 Product A : Month 2 / Product 4,5,6 … Can you help me please ? I’m setting up an Integromat integration to watch for Google Form responses and create new Airtable records accordingly. I’ve got pretty much everything working with the exception of one field… In my Google form it’s a multi-checkbox answer for the instruments people play, which (I believe) returns a comma-separated text string - or possibly it’s already treated as an array, I’m not sure. The values from that need to go into a Multi Select field in Airtable. The values in both the Google Form and the Airtable field are identical. From what I’ve found, I think this is going to involve some kind of array parsing, but I just cannot figure out what I should do in Integromat - their own documentation on this is not at all clear, so I was hoping someone here would be able to help me out.

Hey all, I’ve been working on a Powershell script that creates many text files of various directories scattered on a network. Each text file contains lists of the file content of a network directory, name and extension. I figured I may as well use Airtable to audit each text file - which it does well. But the catch is, I’m not sure how I can actually parse a text file that I’ve uploaded into the Airtable attachments field into a Long Text field. Can this be done via an Automation? It was great when I discovered that I could bulk upload Text.txt files into separate records via the Gallery View Yellow button, simply select a bunch of files and drag it to the button - Excellent - that solved my first hurdle!!! But… now… I’m slightly concerned that as easy as those text files were to upload, I’ve no actual method to copy their content into a Long Text field and then do my usual Airtable formula thing to pull the text data apart. Appreciate any guidance on this! Perhaps I’ve gone about this

I have a series of views which capture items at various stages in a process based on filters of the dates and values, but I am hoping to get a daily snapshot of the queue sizes which can be exported into a excel report to show the progress and change of any bottlenecks. Is there a way to capture the number of items in a view, and if so for a given period in time? I was originally thinking of using an automation trigger based on a value that calculates which view it should be in, but time triggers do not seem to look at anything that isn’t time related.

Hello. I have a table that it is filled using a forms. there are two fields coming from two other tables that are selected by the customer. I need a formula column where it analyzes the two filled fields and returns the result (remuneration) based on a third table (remuneration_table). below I am attaching a photo to illustrate. basically I need the formula to return the candidate’s remuneration based on the sector and position he will be hired. Could someone help me?

I have a date formula to work out the number of days between 2 dates, if either or both of the dates are blank, it returns NaN, how can I amend the formula to only perform the calculation if both fields are populated? I’m working on a table where I have different currencies (in separate columns) and need to convert them all to one currency. I have a column marking the currency used and so the conditional if statement uses this to have a different calculation for each statement. However, for some reason, the formula doesn’t work but it does not return an error, it simply returns a blank Cell, so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Please HELP. IF({Currency} = “MXN”, {Amount in MXN}/{FX}, IF({Currency} = “EUR”, {Amount in EUR}*{FX}, IF({Currency} = “USD”,{Amount in USD}))) I know about the Currency converter app, but due to the Terms and conditions/privacy settings, I can’t use it.

Hello all. I’m trying to append the value of a specific field to the end of a URL that’s opened by clicking on a button field. For example, I have a field called ‘Deal ID’ and it has different values for each record. Example - Deal ID = 123456 URL = www.google.com/ What is the URL formula for if I wanted to append this ‘Deal ID’ on to the same URL for each record. I tried “www.google.com/{Deal ID}” but it didn’t work. Thanks Dan

Its probably a simple formula…but here goes… I have a record in airtable that looks like this: The A, B, C represent the responses to survey What I want to do is COUNT the number of each letter - so for example A = 3 B = 1 C = 2 E = 1 I have got as far as: IF({Col1}=‘A’,1,0) and that returns the 1 (in this example) What does the formula look like to check in Col2 - Col7 contains ‘A’ and then give me the total of 3? I hope that explains what I am trying to do clearly :grimacing: :nerd_face: Thanks in advance.

This is killing me. It’s literally the last speedbump in my first Airtable script: I have this command: await email.updateRecordAsync(dateArray[i][0],{‘ActualFieldName’ : linkID}); It works! But THIS… await email.updateRecordAsync(dateArray[i][0],{fieldVar : linkID}); DOESN’T WORK. Even with the single-quotes gone, the system is still parsing my defined and assigned fieldVar as the string “fieldVar”. It’s maddening. Any ideas?
