Hi everyone, I’m looking to create a Field where I can mark tasks as either “Complete”, “In progress”, or “Not started” based on the Percent Complete I have manually entered in another field. I’m using this formula, and it’s working for everything except Complete: IF({Progress} = 100, “Complete”, IF({Progress} = 0,“Not started”, “In process”)) I’m also including a screenshot. Hi, How can I add formula which autoadds date field to be +1 day to date field in previous record? I am working on content publishing base and want to automate publishing date field. For example: in record 1, my date field is: 10/13/2021 and I need formula which gives date 10/14/2021 in record 2 and 10/15/2021 in record 3. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I’m getting crypto prices from the Coinmarketcap API and the prices have 12 decimal places E.g. $0.000000007269 However, when I fetch the prices into Airtable, the field [Prices] has precision set to 1.0000000 - 7 places and missing the remaining 5 places. Hi there, I adapted the below script by @Justin_Barrett. Everything was working great until I added a few hundred new records to the ‘TaskLog’ table. The script now throws this error: Exceeded quota of 15 mutations per second at main on line 20: let result = await table.selectRecordsAsync() In addition, the run time is now 23.8/30s - also an error for my purposes - as any run time that goes over say 6-seconds will make the script unusable. Can anyone tell me exactly how to edit the script to include batch processing or another solution that will solve the two errors at hand? I have a a Multiple Select Field which I am trying to substitute spaces with hyphens. The issue that I am running against is that the is space between items and the formula adds an extra hyphen in the final result. Hey there, My production team is using one base to handle our production. (supply, suppliers etc) One table in this base is dedicated to our PRODUCTS. We have one column for price (currency type). An other table, in this same base, is dedicated to VARIANTS. It is simply a linked record to a PRODUCT and a size. The price is “looked up” from product, and thus is showing as a currency type on the variant record. On the other side, the SALES team is sync the VARIANTS table from production to another base (SALES) to get a list of all of our product. To create a sale in the LINE ITEMS table, they pick a VARIANT from the synced table in their base. They write a quantity. And obviously the quantity should be multiplied by the VARIANT PRICE to have the line price. My problem : in the synced table (in SALES base), the price is shown as a TEXT. (“€60.00” for instance) And I cannot manage to make the formula work. I tryed VALUE({price})*quantity but it says #ERROR! It seems like sync records con

Hello, I’m originally a programmer but I’m completely new to Airtable and the script syntax. Basically, I have a PHP file somewhere in my server that makes a GET request to Twitch and gets the follower count of any channel. Now, I have in Airtable a list of Twitch users, with their username. What I want do to is to pass the username to my URL so that the PHP script in my server does the rest, and, posts a simple ECHO with the number of followers. Then I’ll just grab the number to update my field. A bit more graphically: Grab the ‘username’ field from my table ‘table’. Append it to my external URL, i.e. “https://mycoolphpscript.com?user=username” Launch the query, fetch the output, which is just a PHP echo with just a number as output, i.e. “458” (followers) - actually if you paste the URL in your browser you’d also get “458” since there’s just a PHP echo in the background. Update my ‘followers’ field with the result. I know how to do 1, 2 and 4, but I have no idea how to do number 3.

I want to create a formula or an automation that automatically sets the “Business Due Date” 16 weeks after the “Onboarding Call Date” whenever a record is entered in “Onboarding Call Date”. Hello! I’m trying to set up a Gantt view for our team. The tasks are primary deliveries which last less than a day, and in the view the task is a block that spans the entirety of the day. Not sure if this can be changed to specific slots to show the portion of the day! Added context: my start and end dates are computed (formula) fields. Hello! I am new to Airtable and working on setting up inventory for my organization. We have raw materials that are used in different quantities and combinations in different craft kits which correspond to different books. Multiple materials may be in a kit and the number of each material will be different for each kit as well. Some kits go to two or more books. I currently have a table for book titles, craft kits, and raw materials. I have them linked to each other so that for example, the craft kit “daisy crown” has a field that lists the raw materials needed (white paper, green paper, etc) BUT I’m struggling to figure out how to add the calculation for the number of each material for that craft. A daisy crown requires two sheets of green construction paper whereas other crafts require a different amount. I’d like to link the quantities for each craft so that I can project what I will run out of based on how many kits of each craft I’m making coming up. If anyone has any solutions or

Hi, I have changed the field type of some columns from “Attachment” to “Long text”. However, now I need to go back to the old format without losing the data. If I try to do so, the content of the columns is not converted and it is lost. So is there a way to convert columns from “Long Text” to “Attachment” type ? Thank you for your help, Damien ROCHE

Hi Everyone, I’ve come across an issue where I can’t seem to get the date to print the correct time within a formula. Please see example, I’ve stripped it down ot its bare bones. On the left is a date (and the time is correct). On the right is that date reprinted as a function. It appears to be an hour off. This is the formula for the function (simply reprinting the date): It also gives the same result (incorrect) if I set the time to my time zone, which is GMT. Any help appreciated

Hi, I’ve spent hours on this and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Here’s what I’d like to accomplish: Each row in the table is a person (a child in daycare) I want to automate a way to change the location of their daycare on a certain date I have these columns: Current Location (multi-select) Change Date (date) New Location (multi-select containing the same values as Current Location) I’m trying to set up the automation so that on Change Date it will update Current Location to match the value in New Location, but it isn’t working and I haven’t been able to figure out why. I get a “received invalid inputs” message. Any help is much appreciated!

Context I’ve made an Airtable script to get some info automatically calling an API after populating a single field. Everything is cool besides the fact that one of the fields it’s a linked field to another table. In this case, I would first have to create a new record in the other table and then link it (via the record id) to the table in the first “main” table. Problem I’d like to understand if there’s a way to get back the ID of a newly created record to link the record in the main one. I could read the values in the whole table after creation, filter them and get the ID of the created field. Tho it seems very inefficient since I’d have to read the whole thing just for a single value. I’ve read through the docs but I couldn’t find anything about this use case. Is there a more elegant way that I’m missing? Thanks

My code works, but only if it you’re looking at it on the Monday of this week, otherwise it’s off. hello. is there a way to import outlook email attachments directly in Airtable? I have an automation set-up to import the data (e.g. subject, body) from the email, but have been unable to get attachments to come in as well. appreciate any insights.

Hi everyone! As a preface, I’m not a coder and this is new waters for me - but willing and capable to learn! What I’m trying to accomplish: I want to use Airtable as a database to store all my products which will each have their own unique PDF {which I’ll upload to Airtable} and then link said PDF to a QR Code. I’ll print these QR Codes and the expectation is that should a 3rd party {not a contributor} scan the code it links to the PDF in the database. So, I set up the QR app and generate a code pointing to the PDF, when scanned I either get directed to the Appstore to download Airtable, or once I pointed it differently it returned a “[Object object]” string value. In short - I’m against a wall and can’t seem to figure it out! Do I need a unique script or setup from Zapier? Or am I missing something?

Hello, I would like to have some info that is not officially provided by Airtable. I am using airtable to manage a database, which I export to a CSV file. I then use this CSV file as a database for a REST API in this way I am not limited by the maximum 5 requests per seconds imposed by the Airtable API. Where I am wondering is about the files uploaded via Airtable, in my CSV I see that the files are uploaded at this address: https://dl.airtable.com/.attachmentThumbnails/xxxxxxxxxxx If I have a mobile app with 1,000,000 active users viewing the image uploader through Airtable, do I face any limitations or blockages?

Hi, Thanks for your time. I’m looking for some help with a form that allows facilitators to sign up for training sessions. These sessions happen every week and require multiple facilitators. I’m asking for their help, so I want them to have to do them minimum amount of form-filling possible. My ideal situation is: A form in which facilitators can select their name from a drop down list (that bit is fine) A form which lets them select which sessions they are able to attend (this bit is where I’m having issues) And a backend system in which I can see which facilitators are attending a session easily. Hello fellow airtablers… So, im new to airtable, and i want to set up a base for tracking goods in our warehouse… So I made a row called “total in stock” and now i wonder if its possible to set up another row, that will subtract the number entered, from the “total in stock” row? The number entered here, would preferably dissapear afterwards, so that if someone else picks up from the same item, they can also put in the ammount, and it would get subtracted from the total… Hope I explained this understandable, and that someone is able to help. I’m trying to create a simple automation where a slack message is sent when updates are made to a specific record and I get the error “Message could not be converted to a string”. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here but I went over the trigger and the message itself but nothing seems to help my cause. For some added context: There is an automation setup already (which works without any issues) that sends a slack message when the record is no longer empty. I am attempting to set an automation that sends a different message when the same record is updated with new values. These fields are synced from an external table within the same workspace. Not sure if this is too many complications or if there is a way to work around it!
