I just created a budget table, and three fields(cost, products, and source) are integrated with the product table  (pulling the cost field from the product table when I choose a particular product from the budget table). if the cost field is empty or 0 in the product table, the integrated cost field in the budget table should be editable. But I have no idea since the cost field type is lookup or rollup. Is that possible?

Hi, I have been having problems with this for weeks now and cannot understand why my automation is not working. I work for a company that runs an appointment based service. I book the date it  is for and the status of it. When I put in the info, it is defaulted to "Booked". When the day AFTER the appointment comes, I want the system to find all record that match the given criteria (appointment yesterday, status booked) and update it to "Completed" I have tried a million different things but nothing is working.  Here is what my configuration is.. Someone please help me understand what I am doing wrong..

Im using the "Record Review" template for users to choose a record and then see all it's details.Each of my records has multiple date fields. I'm hoping to show these dates with a calendar element, however it seems I can only show dates for every record in the whole table or dates from linked records in other tables. Not actually just the one selected. I've tried to play around with filtering but that does not seem to get me anywhere.Is it really not possible to show one or multiple dates only for the records that has been selected?

Hey, I want to create a link inside my long text field with rich text formatting enabled by zapier. But when I write [Airtable](https://airtable.com) in Zapier I don’t see the Link as a hyperlink. I just see the text:

I have a table that I created to track resource allocation, and use that information to then report out to a graph in my interface to show based on the allocations, how much I would be expected to spend each month. The setup for this is a bit of a workaround to solve for not being able to have multiple fields reported into a chart.  This is working how i need, but it is prone for error if I do not manually link the months in the linked field. I'm trying to create an automation, or solve this in any way that doesnt require me updating both the linked field and the fields that determine if a resource is active or not. My hope is that I could create an automation that would check the Month Fields, and if a Month is set to active, it would then enter that Month into the Linked Months field - this way i could just update the allocation fields, and my report would always be insync with what months should be linked -  See Image attached. 

I have 4 Tables (Payments, Receivables, CostCenters, Extract)The Payments and Receivables records are linked to CostCenters records.The Extract records are linked to Payments ou Receivables records ("If it's a receipt, it will be associated with an account receivable, and if it's a payment, it will be associated with an account payable.) So i want to make a formula field with an IF to get a cost center from Payments if the record is linked to a payment if not it will get the receivable costcenterIs it possible?

I have a pre-filled form that is launched from a button in a record in the Assets table. When the form is submitted, the automation is triggered. A new record is created in the Updates table. Then, there's a Find Record step where a condition is entered to find the record to be updated in the Assets table. Right now, I'm using the condition Today's Date.That's fine for testing but what I really want to do is let the Find Record value be the record from the Assets table from which I launched the form in the first place using a button.How do I refer to that Rec ID?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to build monthly employee attendance with NFC tag. Basically when you "scan" nfc tag with your phone, it open up AT Form for submitting your entry or leave (start in the morning, start of the break, end of the break and end of work). In this form you can choose what type of entry or leave you're submitting. Name is preffiled (and linked to another table with personal information about Of course, when submitting the form, every entry from the form is in a new record. Is it possible to combine all four records into one (for one day)? And after that, I want to calculate duration (how long was one working and how long was on break). I tried by updating the field in another table, but I don't know how to define where (to which record) should information update (so for the specific employee and for a specific date). I'm thinking to build specific table for every employee. Can anyone help me?Thanks!

I've currently got an automation set to pull text fields from multiple records as a list into a Google doc. However, I'd like for the field names to not generate in the Google doc, just the content of the field. I'm trying to build a system where users can copy a Roll Up/Look Up field of phone numbers directly from their phone. This field often has up to 20+ phone numbers.My current solution is to set up a pre-filled form that is accessible via mobile, in which the user will be able to highlight the pre-filled text within a single line text (pre-filled with the look-up field data). From here, users will be able to copy the data. It's a bit clunky.With the introduction of Interfaces on Mobile, I was hoping to build an interface that I could simply display the Roll Up field. However, on mobile, these fields are a bit difficult to copy out. It's still easier to use the Pre-Filled Form where users can "select all" text.Ideally, there would be a button to just copy text or a better way to display the Look Up/Roll Up fields in a way that's easily selectable to be copied. If anyone has a better suggestion for me rather than using a useless form that would be amazing!

I am trying to create an automation to transform a row with multiple linked records to multiple rows, each with one linked record. Ideally, they would appear on the same table. This is for a historical database where I track where people were over time, and it has four tables:(1) Location (registries of where people were at a particular moment in time)(2) Place (a list of cities where people could appear)(3) Person (a list of people, some of whom had the same name)(4) Reference (a list of archives where I get my information from)On the Location table, I have several registries where multiple people appear at the same place at the same time. I am new to Airtable and the database had me the permission to edit it. I am trying to add an option to choose from but I can't seem to "edit" nor "add" an option when trying to add one. How do I successfully do it? Edit it and input the desired option I want to add.

Dear AT Community!I'm collecting arrival and departure dates for an event setup period from workers. They can register through a form. In my base now I have two date fields with an arrival and a departure date for each worker. The setup period spans from 5th May to 16th May.The question is: How many workers are on site each day?In order to answer that question I created 8 formula fields and wrote a simple formula to extract the needed information from the date fields. The output looks like this:Now in the bottom row the sums are given which equal the number of workers on site each day.I tried to create a bar chart in an interface showing the days on the vertical axis and the number of workers on the horizontal axis. Hi guys!Is it possible to have URL in primary field? So that the URL is hidden behind some text (rich text formatting). Like you can do in other fields:So now I have this:One field is brand and the other is model (here I added URL). Primary field is brand + model. When I embed this view into my blog post, reader needs to click on the primary field and from that it opens up window where he needs to find it and click on URL one more time. I don't want that additional step (click) and honestly I think that reader won't find it quickly. Or it can be confusing.Is there a way to add rich text formatting in primary field?Thanks!

🅰️ On iOS and iPadOS, since April 2, 2024, AirTable has started to malfunction regarding newly attached pictures, as follows. { i[Pad]OS here means either and both of iOS and iPadOS }First off, the here described malfunction only affects "full picture display", as opposed to "thumbnail preview miniature imagery", so thumbnails show up correctly no matter what, and their appearance is essentially as expected.Secondly, the darn actual anomaly :::

Deceptively, the here described image "disappearance" phenomenon may seemingly represent no more than an insignificant, minor issue, which *only* seems to occur when at least four "simultaneous" conditions are fulfilled : [1:] dealing with a newly attached picture ( meaning uploaded after 2024.04.02.Tu.), [2:] the upload was achieved from Airtable's mobile app for i[Pad]OS, and [3:] we are attempting to fully open the new picture in again Airtable's mobile app for i[Pad]OS, [4:] after having stepped out of the given record, been elsewhere, then returning to the new imagery.OK, this is about the currently happening and most unfortunate resurging of an earlier problem, dating from nine months ago actually, then and now again regarding New Picture Attachments in Airtable on i[Pad]OS – so in fact this is about an utterly, truly undesirable and unexpected revival of what we already had to describe mid last year, when we elaborately reported on it in :::

HiI'm a new Airtable user and I'm trying to determine the best approach to creating a dashboard view for each client at our firm with read only access.I'm aware you can create 1 base and filter views but that would make it possible for clients to see each others dashboards.Would it be better to create a single base specific to work for a single client and use that data set to create a dashboard or is there a way to prevent a client from looking at another client's dashboard if I chose to use a single base and filter views?

I have two tables Experiments and Readings.Each experiment is linked to two or more reading records. Each reading has a DateTime field, and some readings such as pH and temperature. The pH and temperature readings are number fields.I want to use the first and last sets of readings in the Experiments table in some numeric formulas.In Experiments table I use a rollup field with MIN(values) to find the earliest DateTime in the linked readings. In the Readings table I use a lookup field and copy the {First DateTime} reading back into the readings table.
