Hi,I have a table called Launch Calander that I link records from other tables like Email task, Website tasks and Digital & Print tasks.The lookup fields for all the other records show fine in the Launch Calander except for Email.I've tried deleting the linked record for email and starting over by creating it again from within the Launch Calander, then creating Lookup Fields and making sure they are linked to the Email Linked Record. Yet, nothing shows up. 

Hi community, I’m building up automation with Gmail sending records to the mail address of the person who filled out the form. I used the Rollup field to pull the email address from the other table. I’ve run 50+ times testing trigger and all the steps which showed no error, but it never succeeded while actually performing the automation after submitting the form. I’ve also tried to delete and rebuild automation for 3 times but still in vain. I also assured that every cell of mail is not empty. I attached some screenshots of the condition. Is there any suggestion to fix the problem? Much appreciated!

I've used Airtable for several years and have a workspace with approximately 80 bases.  Prior to one of the "upgrades", I had organized my bases in a way that was easy for me to find which base I was looking for and that made sense to me.  Now that the workspaces are sorted by opened by you, alpha, or last modified, it is very time consuming to find the particular base that I am looking for.  The "upgrade" may have been great for many people, but it was horrible for me.I have looked and can't seem to find a way to manually sort my bases so that they stick.  I suspect that this is no longer an option for me.Does anyone have an answer?I tried to contact support, but it has been several weeks and the only communication that I received from them was asking if I had received an answer yet.  Of course, I had not, because no one had answered. Thanks! 

Im trying to set up a BOM (Bill Of Materials), but i have thousands ind different categories and subcategories. I though it could use the use the new dynamic filtering in the the link fields, but as there a many seperate sub categories depending on the material it ends up being quite messy.So I thought I maybe can rig something up in a script extention to have the user run through a bunch of questions to filter out all the irrelevant records to finally be asked to choose from a narrowed down list (as if the user would be choosing records from filtered view). Is this possible with the script extention?

Hello everyone,I'm a beginner on Airtable, I don't really know where to post this message, so sorry in advance if it's in the wrong place, I have some ideas for resolution but it could be in automation, base design or then formulas, I chose to post in Other questions.I couldn't put a screen shot because the data is sensitive. 🙏I'd like to know how it's possible to keep the previous information that filled a field.Let me explain:We're doing a small CRM.So I use the Kanban view based on status and when a customer record hasn't been modified for 4 days, I've been asked to set up an automation so that the customer record goes into "Action Required" status.The aim would be to have an action to return the customer file to the previous status once the action has been carried out by the sales person.The problem is that we have 7 different statuses, so the previous status can be 6 different statuses.I thought of a button, but the rollback action (based on a record) doesn't seem to exist

HelloI've creating a function to act as a rudimentary web scraper to grab some meta data like the page title, description etc using the `fetch()` api. In an automation, this works perfectly as expected. But in a scripting extension, my `try...catch` throws an error message of "Failed to fetch".Are there some restrictions/limitations between automation scripts and extension scripts when it comes to using `fetch()` ?

Hi there,I'd like to set up an automated weekly email for pending leave applications, but only if there are actually pending leaves. When I tried using conditions linked to individual records, it sent multiple emails. And when I used scheduling as a trigger, it still sent an email even if there were no pending leaves. I have an interface with this summary, but can't seem to use it in the automation. Has anyone figured out a solution for this?

Hey folks,I'm having a strange problem with updating records in my Airtable. I set up an automation where it checks if a record with a specific user ID exists. If it does, it updates the record, and if not, it creates a new one.I deleted all the records from the table. Now, even though the table is empty, the update is failing because the automation is finding two record IDs that don't exist anymore.Empty Table:Run automation :The update will fail as it refers to the previously deleted records' IDs. Is it a cache issue of some sort?Any ideas on how to fix this?Thanks!

Hi Airtable Community,I have a table with events. New events can be added via a form and various needs can be requested for the event using a multiple selection field.A record is generated in a second table for each need.I have currently created an automation for each selection option as I have not yet found a way to do this dynamically. However, as there are now around 30 different needs, I would like to make the automation dynamic. Any ideas for a solution? The problem is that the need has to be named correctly and I can't pull this information dynamically from the multi-selection field.Thank you and BestMirko 

I have 2 questions to ask:1st being this:I have 2 tables:1. Revelator Sheet Data2. Client InformationThe "Revelator Sheet Data" table holds the music assets of the clients belonging to our business. To map the assets to the clients (in the client information table) I will use the "payee_id" which is present in both "Revelator Sheet Data" and "Client Information" tables.But I can only link 2 tables with primary fields. The "Client Information" has "Client ID" while the "Revelator Sheet Data" has "Id" as the primary fields. So, when I linked the "Client Information" table to"Revelator Sheet Data" table using client_id, how do simultaneously match the payee_id?For example: Above is the Revelator Sheet Data table. I have linked the client information table using client_id. Now I want that if "Payee id" (in Revelator Sheet Data) and "Payee ID" (lookup field from client information) are similar, the client_id is mapped automatically ie I basically want to map client id based on pay

I'm new to Airtable automations so apologies for what may be an overly complex workflow - any suggestions to improve it are welcome. Goal: send an automated email when someone "invites a friend" on a website. Email will say "Hi {friend's name}, your friend {user's name} {user's email} recommended you join this site", etc. How I've set it up so far: Airtable table with fields Friend's name, Friends email, User's name, User's email Concatenate formula to combine the above fields into a message something like "Hi {friend's name}, your friend {user's name} {user's email} recommended you join this site"Automation to send an email using the text from the Concatenate formula Problem: there doesn't seem to be a way to format the text so when the email sends, it's just a long string of unformatted text. Does anyone know a better way to set this up? 

Hello - I am trying to get a total count field if student's have passed multiple tests. There are six fields representing each test. Within each multi select field the contents contain: Drop downs for fields:  Pass 4/5/24, Pass 4/17/24, Fail 4/5/24, Fail 4/17/24.  I want to use a multi-select tool so if/when they retake the test, I can note which date they passed or failed. Fields:Test 1 Test 2 Test 3 Test 4 Test 5 Test 6 I would like another column to say, if the fields contain pass, then count it as one. If a student passes 4 out of 6 of the tests, I would like the column to have the total = 4. I am stuck combining the multiple fields. Hi, I'm new to automations on Airtable and am facing an unusual error:"Name is "foo", Invalid filter on Email (Invalid choice name or id: foo@bar.baz)"My "Find records" step has two conditions (OR), attempting to match on "Name" or "Email".Here you can see a successful test, when a match is found:It is also successful when no match is found, BUT when only "name" is used, and not both name and email, finding 0 results (expected behaviour).  BUT when adding the email condition bac, when there are no matches, it gives the error: This seems like a bug to me, can you advise? I want to have a select field with a couple of options for clients that need a subscription. Like: "1 month subscription", "2 month subscription", ... . This would ideally convert the answer into a 31 day duration field that can then be used in a date dependency to calculate the end date for the subscription. Is this possible?I already figured out that i can convert it to duration using a formula field but then i can't use it in a date dependency...

To any formula ninjas, A column has multiple keywords/values. I need to add a pre-fix before each of the values. From: column: Colour values: White, Black, Blue To: add the prefix “Colour_” to each one of the values in the colour values: Colour_White, Colour_Black, Colour_Blue I created another column with the prefix Colour_, and then a basic concat, but the result is (of course): Colour_White, Black, Blue I don’t know how to add the prefix to each of the values individually, and if concat is the right formula. Detail: not all columns will have a value, so need to consider an empty cell. If anyone has a good idea… much appreciate it ! Christie

Hi,I find myself needing to change at least single select values, and would like to know if there's a way to do that without breaking automations and interfaces?I e.g. have names of event types that I need to change, for example from "Discovery" to "Discovery call" or status kind of values like "Ready" to "Ready for invoicing". Any of these are used in interfaces and automations as discriminating variables to either activate automations or filter what is shown.When attempting to edit one, I get a warning of dependencies, but I can't understand whether the update would actually break the listed dependencies.Thankful for any help how to do this safely. I have a script that I'm having difficulties with. The script is part of an automation block which is triggered by a new record being added to a table called Projects. This record in the projects field has some info about it, (how many episodes, series number, etc) but crucially, has a multi-select field. The automation is supposed to look at the trigger record, which has a field for how many 'episode' records it should create, and then makes the episode records and links them back to the project. It is supposed to also copy the multi-select entries that are in the triggering record and make them the same in the newly created 'episode' records. But it seems to be failing at that, and I'm getting an error: Error: Field "fldYr1BVOeRj2DLLz" cannot accept the provided value. at main on line 43 Can anyone see from the script what might be the issue. Hello there! What's the best way to enable AI for our workspaces? Our organization admin has requested activation through the in-app prompts and contacted Sales directly, but it's been over two weeks without a response. I manage everything for Airtable in our org and I'd initiate this myself and push more, but my org admin can't make me an admin because it appears that Airtable can't make an admin out of a user that has an email from a different domain. If there's an account executive associated with our account, I'd be grateful for an introduction to help guide us through this. 🙂  Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for any help.Not sure what is causing this. I set up an automation to send an email when a field is updated to a certain value.The email is sent but the data from the specified fields are not included and there is an error. Here is the email:-----Subject: New Potential LCR:  - $ - #ERROR!This was just added as a planned LCR expenditure.Estimated Amount: $ Estimated Date: #ERROR!Vendor: Vehicle:-----So there should be data pulled from the fields for each of items. I also don't know why there is an error.The data in the actual table records is there and seems OK. Here is what it looks like:So the data exists, but it's not included, and the estimated date is generating an error. Otherwise the email is being sent.Thanks for any help! 

Hi there— Grateful for your help in figuring this out.I have a single select dropdown field in one cell. If a user selects an option in that dropdown field, I'd like the cell next to it to replace the text based on whatever is selected. So in the screenshot, if someone selects "Brown" in the dropdown, I'd like the cell to the right to show just the text "Color Theme D". Is there some kind of IF statement or formula I can use in that new cell? Is there any possible way to run Data Fetcher from the Interface?I have created a Button following this info https://help.datafetcher.com/advanced-options/run-request-from-button-field but this resides in the data which is not ideal. I want to be able to fetch the data on demand with the click of a button from the interface without ever opening the data. Is this possible

Hi, this is a Voiceflow specific question, but I was hoping someone might have some ideas.I'm making an API call from Voiceflow using a multiple filterbyFormula to exclude words.
