I am building a base for client follow up. When our clients are a couple, they are entered on the same row in our main table. I have the client name column as a look up field in our Client Birthday table, so it pulls the name from our main table. However, in the Client Birthday table we need them to be on separate rows. Is there a way to use an automation or script to split the client names into two rows?For example, if we enter John Doe and Karen Smith on one line in our main table, could we make them show up in two rows in our Client Birthday table?Thank you!

HiI have a simple script I run each night, which simply attempts to tick a box in about 100 records, which then drives an automation to fire off some reports on activity that day (1 per user). Unfortunately it never completes, it tells me it has failed. It works for many records, but not all. I have similar scripts for other reports. I'm using a script because it fires at a specific time. Any ideas how I can improve this please so that it will process all before timing out. Hello,I need help with figuring out how to lookup the right price of an item for a particular customer from a table.I have an order line item table that contains "Customer Name" and "Item Name". Using this information together I want to look up the price from the price level table.This is the image of the order line item table. I have a customers table where I store all information about my customers. I have an inventory table that contains all the items. The price level table contains all the pricing information. Each item can have different prices for different customers, hence the separate price level table.

We needed a "quick" way to see that a calendar entry was canceled (in the label, which is a text field named "Short Name") without typing it. (We use a check box to "cancel" the event) Forgive me, I'm new. I am trying to create a formula to name my Clients based on the following: If {company} is not blank, use {company} and if {company} is blank use {last name}, {first name} - and if there is a spouse name use {last name}, {first name} & {spouse name}I can't quite get it to work - can anyone help? 

I guess I just don't understand how/why Airtable is set up this way.If I have a Pro account.And another has a Pro account.Why can't they just SHARE one of their workspaces and/or bases with me - with edit access - without my having to pay a 3rd time?! To be a Pro user on "their" account?!That makes zero sense to me. ;-/ 

I'm new here so I do not know that many formula. I imported my tables from excel and I have it generate name of the product with product name + weight. However, I want the numbers that are generated in 2 digits format. And here is my current formula :"[90.0]"&" "&{product name}&" "&{weight)}I tried using Round(), but it didn't help.  

Hi - I am trying to update a forecast in case the field hasn't been updated for over a month. The idea is that if there are no updates, the forecast would lower by 10%. It all looks great, until I have to "Update record", I pull the record ID (dynamic) and added the field "Forecasted" and also make it dynamic. I add the field "Forecasted" and multiply it by 0.9. However, this creates an error. Here are the different versions and the results: "Forecasted"*0.9 --> Error"Forecasted"(0.90) --> Error"Forecasted".9 --> If the original value was $15,000 it shows $150,001 (maybe it thinks I want to move the decimal place?)"Forecasted""Multiply by" --> I created the field "Multiply by" to all equal 0.9 in the data, but whenever I place both of them together, no changes"Forecasted"*"Multiply by" --> Error"Forecasted"10% --> ErrorThis should be simple, the formula is pretty easy, but for some reason I can't get it to work. HiI am trying to use below code (Google Apps Script) to get data from Airtable. The fetch request succeeds but the fields are returned as text [Object]. I am not able to see actual data. However the request works from other HTTP clients like Bruno.I have observed another issue. The code with small change marked below used to return data perfectly till couple of days ago but suddenly started throwing error 422. Hey Airtable Community!I have a problem that's been bugging me for some time and I can't seem to solve it, so I decided to ask for your help.I have an automation on Make.com that pulls data from my bank account, looks for transactions by [transactionId] in my Airtable base and, if not present, adds a new record. The problem though is that the filter formula I'm using in my API call sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.What I mean is when I perform tests, everything runs fine and after a few days the formula stops working - it doesn't identify correctly the records that are already in the the table and adds them again, effectively duplicating existing records. Hi everyone, I'm a beginner at airtable automation (so excuse the novice question) - I'm trying to figure out how to set up an automation to send an email with attachment when a new record is created. Same attachment will be going to all emails. More info: 1. User fills out a form on website with email address. 2. New record is created in Airtable table "Contacts" with the email address3. I've read through several help topics and I am still having issues, hoping someone can help me. I have a field that is counting the days between the due date and todays date. I have a list of people linked to projects in my Airtable base and I’m attempting to have the slack messages from my automation tag the user associated with the record matching the conditions when the automation runs. I’ve tried inputting the slack id as a look-up from the roster table, I’ve made a formula that concatenates it into a string, I’ve tried it both as id (with <@ and > added in message text) and <@id> in the methods above, but none of this results in a proper tag. The only tag I’ve been able to make work is when I hard-code one into the automation message, but that obviously isn’t dynamic. Has anybody had success here? FWIW; whenever I try to include the field with the Slack id into the message, it doesn’t show up in Slack at all, so I know at some point it’s getting filtered out.

Why are elements (groups) in an airtable dashboard non resizable? I added a dashboard interface in airtable with two number groups that show the count of companies and two chart groups. When I click on the expand button on the chart group, I want it to display the pie chart and the list in a descending order with details below. Though this is seen currently, I am not able to resize the charts or increase the size of the list table below. The table is seen as a thin scrollable section at the bottom and it is a very tedious experience for a user to scroll again and again when in fact the page can be otherwise utilized to show a bigger table. (see screenshot below) As a work around, I tried to create a dashboard using a blank interface. However now the number or chart element is not clickable and it is static. This makes me think airtable dashboard is not a very cohesive tool. If one feature is present, it lacks in another feature. Is there a suggestion to show better dashboards

Hello,As projects come to a close, I want to review how successful my team was on staying on task and completing tasks by the deadline. My base is set up to flag overdue tasks, so I know in the moment when something is overdue and needs to get done ASAP. But I'd like to take a look at the project retroactively after all tasks in the project have been marked as complete and see how many of them were finished late.I can then investigate if I have projects that need adjustments or support (unrealistic deadlines, bandwidth issues, employee struggling, etc.).Any suggestions on how to do this quickly?

I’m working with a group that has users shared at the Workspace level but now what’s to remove them from the Workspace level and share them on individual bases. I was surprised to find that users who are shared at the Workspace level can’t be shared as the Base level. Trying to do so creates an alert message that says “this user is already shared on this base.” Is it possible to shift users from Workspace to Base level access without first removing them from the Workspace and then adding them to the Base?

I just created a budget table, and three fields(cost, products, and source) are integrated with the product table  (pulling the cost field from the product table when I choose a particular product from the budget table). if the cost field is empty or 0 in the product table, the integrated cost field in the budget table should be editable. But I have no idea since the cost field type is lookup or rollup. Is that possible?

Hi, I have been having problems with this for weeks now and cannot understand why my automation is not working. I work for a company that runs an appointment based service. I book the date it  is for and the status of it. When I put in the info, it is defaulted to "Booked". When the day AFTER the appointment comes, I want the system to find all record that match the given criteria (appointment yesterday, status booked) and update it to "Completed" I have tried a million different things but nothing is working.  Here is what my configuration is.. Someone please help me understand what I am doing wrong..

Im using the "Record Review" template for users to choose a record and then see all it's details.Each of my records has multiple date fields. I'm hoping to show these dates with a calendar element, however it seems I can only show dates for every record in the whole table or dates from linked records in other tables. Not actually just the one selected. I've tried to play around with filtering but that does not seem to get me anywhere.Is it really not possible to show one or multiple dates only for the records that has been selected?
