I have a base set up to log participant feedback after people attend a program. Respondents fill out a form and give ratings to questions related to different dimensions (belongingness, context, etc.); I currently have responses linked to activities and program profiles, which determine the specific dimensions that are presented in the survey.I want to make a Likert chart for each program that shows the distribution of ratings for each dimension. To do that, the response data needs to be arranged as below, where the cells are counts of the number of people giving each response for each dimension:I've played with creating different views, experimented with rollups and formulas, but I haven't found an approach that gives me the output I need without requiring me to transcribe counts manually into the correct table format.Any help or insight (ideally without requiring the purchase of additional extensions) is greatly appreciated!!

Hi all! I’m in desperate need of a way to get the data I have in a table into Google Sheets. I would prefer not to use Integromat, but a script. I’m not a developer… I found a script (https://www.optimi.co.nz/blog/2019/05/11/you-too-can-make-dashboards-how-to-visualise-your-airtable-data-in-google-data-studio) but it pulls all the columns of the table and I would like it to pull only the ones that are not hidden in a specific view. Also, since I will be referring to those columns in other sheets, I need their order not to chance when it updates. Any suggestions? @Bill.French? Thank you!!

Hello and thank you for adding me to this group.I am attempting to do something that on the surface appears relatively simple however I am not quite able to figure out a work around for the issue.I am building out a bidding module to my base.I have a Series of tables starting with "Projects" then "Bids" then "Bid Line Items" where I then roll up the total of a set of Line Item expenses "Bid Amount*" to the Bids Table. I want to use that rollup in the "Primary" field as part of a formula however I get a circular reference error.Is there an easy way to extract that information and use it in a formula? Thank you!

I need help figuring out an easy data entry model for our YOY production reports.The basics: We have ~150 clients and ~75 suppliers (every year some clients leave, some are added, which is true for suppliers as well, meaning those lists are not static). Our clients sell products from our suppliers. For every year, our suppliers report sales for each client, which we collate into an individual sales report per client (I need help with reporting too, but that's a problem for another day). I'm using the 'color' attribute to color-code my fields according to type of item in the primary field, but now I have reached six colors (including the default color), I cannot proceed any further.Is this normal?

Hi everyone! I'm struggling to create an automation. We have a list of customer-support interactions that are either marked as Open, In Progress, or Resolved. For the most part, interactions are resolved same-day, but occasionally, some will need to be left as Open or In Progress, creating the need for a daily email summary that lists those unresolved interactions (if there are any). With that, I've been trying to create a scheduled automation that runs at 8:30 AM every day based on a view (that is set to only show unresolved interactions), and I'd like the automation to only send the email if there are items within that view. I've been trying to configure this, but with no luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly (maybe it's my "Find records" step?) There's currently 1 record within that view, but when I test the automation in it's current state (attached) it's not meeting the conditions. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

I'm making a dashboard from an interface, and when I display a number that is the sum or average of a group of fields it always displays the number with two digits after the decimal. Is there a way to round that number to no places after the decimal?Also for some of the numbers, I want to add a dollar sign to the beginning of the number. Is there a way to do that when the number is using a "Number" field?

Hey there. I’d like to alphabetize one set of records in a table but would like to write a formula that would exclude the word “the” at the beginning when alphabetizing. (I rather not just format as Title, The.) Any possible way to do this, or no, because this is essentially a sorting issue, not a formula/record-naming issue?

Hello! I'm hoping someone here is great with automations/scripting/something to help. I'm trying to run an automation every Sunday to randomize work tasks for my team and then send an email or Teams message. I want it to refresh the randomization when this runs at it's scheduled time. I have 6 members, and already have their off days input. The Airtable randomize values extension works for what I'm wanting (and avoids the cells that are already filled with "Off"), but I can't run it on an automation and honestly, I don't know enough about JavaScript to change the code. Why is the form interface different than editing an existing record for selected related/lookup fields in another table? The form interface for adding a new record is very minimal and only shows 1 field while editing an existing record shows multiple fields. Ideally, I want the new record form to show more details so I can filter out the best option. Hey everyone!I'm new to this and need some help. I have a list of client details that include two attachments: a price list and a software update list. These attachments are used in automated emails. Periodically, I need to update these attachments with the latest versions.I've tried two methods:1. Linked records: I created a second table with the attachments linked to the client list. However, I'm having trouble getting the attachments to appear in the client list.2. Update record automation: My understanding is that I need to first find the relevant records and then run a repeating group to update them. However, I'm facing two challenges here. First, it seems to only find up to 100 records, but our list is much larger. Second, I'm struggling to get the automation to work smoothly.Has anyone encountered a similar situation and found a solution? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are empty record fields counted as 'Unique' in the Unique total number? I expect not, but just checking.

I have a single table where I have different columns for Town, County, Region etc. I then have a Description field with some generic copy but at the end I want to automatically add the Town name within its row (see image).E.g. Hello. I have used the script extension to get the URL stored in the URL field of the currently selected record. I am using the button field to send the URL to the script but ideally, I would want to just click on a record and the extension identifies the currently selected record. However, when I try to output the URL from the record in an iFrame, I simply get the HTML code for the iFrame in my output. How can I display the actual website? I have a tasks table with a self-linking field that I use to define task predecessors. Is there a way when adding a predecessor to filter the options to show only those that relate to the relevant project/grouping?The problem I am trying to solve is that there may be many tasks with the same name so sorting through them to find the correct one takes time. For example, in my task table I may have the following:Project 1:Task 1Task 2Project 2:Task 1Task 2When selecting a predecessor for task 2 I have to wade through and find which Task 1 is the correct one for the project. May be helpful to know: my tasks table has another linked record field that links to a projects table, therefore each task is tied to a project. 

Hi there!As I am fine tuning the AT bases for our team, I seem to be missing something rather important here and thought I would ask the community about it as it seems to be rather significant.As we create tasks and assign to our team members, we would like the team members to login to AT and view those tasks. They can go into the various views but here they see all the tasks. This is fine as an overall project log. But if they then filter this list to show only those assigned to themselves, it seems to run the filter across ALL OTHER USERS viewing this page!If that's the normal behaviour, how does an editor/team member see only their assigned tasks without impacting the rest of the teams' views? Almost all other PM tools I have tested with (Monday, Asana etc.) have a dashboard page of sorts that shows their open items etc. But a personalization filter on the existing views may be enough for our needs.Please let me know as this is a rather important functionality to keep the informatio

Hi.I have two Date files with Time Called Start and Ende.g.:Start=08.05.2024 09:54End= 08.05.2024 12:00in another filed I'd like to calculate this into hours rounded to full 15 minutes using:IF( AND({End}, {Start}),ROUND(DATETIME_DIFF({End}, {Start}, 'm') / 15) / 4) the result of this is 2 which is correct as I used "ROUND"But I'd actually like to ROUNDUP, so the result should be 2.25But when I change ROUND to ROUNDUP in the above formula, I just get #ERROR back Further down the road I'l like to convert the this into "working days" of 8 hours each So let's say I have two entries with 2 hours and 8 hours, that would sum up into 1,25 "working days" reason for this: I'm building a tracker of PS engagements. Hi, I have researched the forum but cant find the problem to my solution. Every time a record is updated in UseCases, I calculate a field call Environment_textual (example value would be "Negligible risk").I have another table called Environment_pics where I store pictures for each rating (e.g. there is a pic for "Negligible risk"). I want to create an automation which takes Environment_textual and copies it over to the linked field, so I can the picture in the UseCases list.I get an error for the last step.Should I copy the result in the linked field in UseCases or in the linked field of Environment_pics? For use cases it runs succesfully but the value is not inserted, for Environment_pics I get an error "The record does not exist"Please help. A gif would be me most welcome, or any description, link. Hi All,I'm having difficulty automating a task that I need for my database.
