Hi Folks,I have come up with a workaround for not being able to filter on query within scripting automations. Since you can query on a view but views can't be adjusted via the API either we use a view that has a checkbox and then check the box through update records and uncheck when done.  This is useful when you have a list of records from a linked field more than a dyanamic filter.  It is also still best to filter the records that are returned to ensure they do meet your criteria but greatly reduces the number of records returned.  First we use this async function to make the object for updates:   async function setAutomationFlags(table, recordIds, flagValue) { const automationFlags = recordIds.map(recordId => ({ id: recordId.id, fields: { "Automations": flagValue } })); await updateRecordsInChunks(table, automationFlags); }     updateRecordsInChunks is another function that takes an array and slices it: &

Hello !I am using Airtable for invoicing. Very soon, I will have to increase prices. Is there a simple way to implement the new prices without affecting the already existing invoices?

Hello!I would like your help to solve the following problem:We conducted a survey where people answered questions and received points. Now we need to filter the score value by colorThere are 3 colors for cells, which are colored when the following conditions match:Red: if a person scored a low number of points in 4 categoriesYellow: if there are no red blocks out of 4 and less than 3 green blocksGreen: There are no red blocks, more than two blocks are green out of 4Points: red if scored from 0 to 11 points in each categoryyellow if from 11 to 17 pointsgreen if from 17 to 25 pointsHow can automation be assembled so that colors are assigned automatically based on these formulas? Conditions in coloring are not suitable, since it only looks at 1 condition\Thank you very much in advance for your help

When someone calls through RingCentral and their name, or number match an Airtable record, is there anyway for that record to pop up?

I have a user that can't click an interface button which runs an automation. The automation primarily updates a field that is not visible through the interface. My user, who has access to the interface but not the underlying base, is unable to click this button. It is greyed out. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the error message you get when you hover over the button because another user 'helped' them and moved the workflow along. Is it the current expected behaviour that a user with interface only access can't run an automation that changes the base? Or is there something else going on here?

I imported (not thinking) over 1,000 .csv records into one of my Free dBases. What will happen to the excess records?

Hi, community! I'm sure you'll be able to give me some ideas to figure out the best way to accomplish what I'm trying to.I have a base with 6 tables: Check-in, Market, Business, Operations, Traction and Finance.Forms with data will arrive in Check-in table. Since is a lot of data for the customer to fill in one time, we had to split fields in 5 forms which collect the real values of customer business and 5 forms collecting projection values.Customer will answer this every month, so we have an Evaluation Month field in every table. Also, and that's one messed up thing, they need customer be able to send data in more than one form. So this would work something like, on first month, customer knows 4 of the 8 questions, he will send a form with these 4 answers; then, when he gets the other 4, he will send another form with the other 4 answers. Please, consider we can't ask our customer to send only one form per month, despite this was the easiest way to solve the problem. After that, we nee

Hello!I realize that Airtable most likely wants to push forms to be built via Interfaces, but of course, many forms have already been built by users in the standard table views. When going to a form view within the table (not Interface), we get a popup window that states the form has been upgraded and then two buttons: "Edit Form View," which lets us edit in the old form view option within the table, or "Go to form builder," which takes us to the interface version. The user responsible for this base is not interested in using the Interface version at this time and so they click "Edit form view." However, what is annoying is that every time the form view from the table is brought up, the popup has to be cleared yet again. We understand that there are two ways to approach this form now. The interface version hasn't been touched and is not shared, while the older version is linked to and shared. Is there something we're missing that will allow us to click the button once and be do

I'm developing a Block Extension. When I type block release I get"Error: Your Airtable API key is invalid. Please use block set-api-key to update it. Code: airtableApiWithInvalidApiKey"Since api keys are deprecated (I have deleted my key and can't create a new one) I have created a personal access token. But I can't get it to work with block release; running block set-api-key <my-personal-access-token> returns"Error: Invalid Airtable API key specified. Make sure you copied it correctly from airtable.com/account. Code: airtableApiKeyMalformed"How do I use my PAT with Blocks?

Hi. I've bumped into an issue when I want to send an automated email based on a field containing an email address. I've got two fields, one lookup that shows me the email address based on a selection from Email-Committee List. Help articles suggest using this formula -->> CONCATENATE({Committee's email (from Email-Committee List 2)}, "") but when putting --Calculation-- field in the --to-- field in the automation it comes back with the message that "The "To" input is empty" and I don't know what I'm doing wrong there.

I am creating a budget and have amounts incoming at various frequencies. I want to create a field that calculates the monthly amount based on a formula. This is the formula I have got but I get an Invalid Formula error message:IF({Frequency} = "Daily", {Amount} * 30,IF({Frequency} = "Weekly", {Amount} * 4.33,IF({Frequency} = "Bi-weekly", {Amount} * 2.167,IF({Frequency} = "Monthly", {Amount},IF({Frequency} = "Quarterly", {Amount} / 3,IF({Frequency} = "Twice-Annually", {Amount} / 6,IF({Frequency} = "Annually", {Amount} / 12,0 // Default case, if none of the above matches)))))))How do I need to correct it?

Hello, this is an airtable newbie question:I have searched here, watched videos, and am completely failing with the following problem:I want to create an automation that sends a mail to ALL mail addresses contained in table 2 when a data record is added to table 1.I have the trigger, it works, it's simple. In the actions, I only have access to the data of table 1 in the To: field (where the mail addresses should go), not table 2.How can I access the data of table 2 at this point?Does anyone have a comprehensible tip for me?Many thanks in advance for your timeBoris

Beginner here, asking a question which has no doubt been asked a lot and probably has a simple, obvious answer! Apologies in advance...I have one table containing all of our customer bookings. In this table there is a formula field that takes the date that the booking was made and assigns it a week number based on a weeknum formula.I have another table where I have the week numbers listed from 1-52 in a field. The outcome I want is to have other fields that adds up figures from the customer bookings that took place in the same week number. Simple SUM-like formulas that add up how long the bookings went for, how much they cost etc (all of which are fields in the original customer bookings tables).I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms when I am googling this info but I haven't found anything that helps as yet.I made a mock base that might better show what I've got and what I want Basically, I was hoping to have those Total hours and Total $$ fields autofill with the details based o

Hi, I don't know if it is possible and I don't how to do it, or if it is a feature that is still not available in airtable.I have 2 tables: Reports and Users.I divided the reports by categories (1,2,3 etc), and I created different views for each category.I would like to lookup or rollup the category in the user table based on the different views that I created in the report table. In this way, I will filter the users by the categories, and I can apply some automation. Without this feature, I have, for example a person that has this: I would like, for example, that this person has only the code "5" and filter all the other data based on that.Is there any way that I can do this? Thank you 🙏

I want to store the total number of employees in the programs table to calculate the participation rate. Additionally, I'd like to break down the number of employees by position to calculate the participation rate for each position. I have three tables: Programs, Employees, and Tasks. While I can easily count the number of employees who complete each program or task, I am struggling with creating a field that sums the number of employees from the employee's table and places that total in the program's table to calculate the participation percentage.

Hello there, I would like to know how make an automation of daily record updates to the Spreadsheet? I've read some posts in this forum and all of them were asking to use a third party which needs to pay more again. How to do it just in airtable? In my thought, it should be like this- At the end of the day- Check which records are created today- Send every record to spreadsheet- DonePlease help, thank you!

I'm having a hard time finding a simple script that will allow you to duplicate a record via automation. My end goal:Trigger: When a record matches a condition (i.e. a checkbox is checked off)Action: Run script --> this is where I can't find a script online! I need this script to duplicate the selected record.Just simple as that. Can someone help me? Thank you!

Hello everyone,I am new to airtable. I have a survey and each question has a single select field option for the answers with a certain amount of points. How can I assign a number to each single select field value e.g. a=0, b=1, c=2 and d=3 so I can add up these points.Hope to hear from you. Thanks

I need to evaluate whether or not an attachment field is blank with an IF statement. Variations of double quotes and the BLANK() function don't do the trick. Any ideas?

Hello,This is a variant on an earlier topic. I have a base where users input lengthy URLs into several fields, and corresponding display text in separate fields. I've been using the workaround where a formula field does this calculation: CONCATENATE("[",{name},"](",{URL},")") and an automation takes that field and copies it into a rich-text-formatted long text field. It's clunky, and even clunkier when you have a bunch of markdown formula fields in your base. I'd like to do this with just an automation, but when I try to do it exactly the same way, I get text output like  [Airtable](www.airtable.com)whereas my formula approach gives Airtable  Here's the automation script I'm using. Any advice is greatly appreciated!  let inputConfig = input.config(); let theURL = inputConfig.theURL; let displayName = inputConfig.website; let recordID = inputConfig.recordID; let thisTable = base.getTable('Table 1'); let blank=""; let markup = blank.concat("[", d

Hello, I am new to airtable. I need help with records. I have created 1250 records in my table even though i am on freeplan. I am not sure if i should add more rows records or not?

My first post! This community has been very helpful. I’m still fairly new to airtable and hope someone can help with this problem. I have a Google Sheet with a date field, a start time field, and a stop time field. I want to import it into a table with 2 fields: {date and start time} and {stop time}. I tried to join fields in google sheets, then upload, but it only uploads the date correctly, and the time is ‘12:00am’. I’ve tried different date/time formats, but that hasn’t worked, and made the problem worse in some cases. For example it only works with the 12 hr format, when I tried 24 hour, neither the date nor time uploaded. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there, I’m looking to create a formula column based off a column which has multiple fields. The Column has one or multiple of SD/HD, UHD, HDR or SDR.I want to create a new column called “Available in UHD?” where if one of UHD, HDR or SDR is there then show Yes. If it has only SD/HD then show no. Any help would be appreciated.

can you please help me convert this to the proper duration format? OR maybe into Seconds.I have the formula below:VALUE(LEFT(SUBSTITUTE({Fulfillment Time}, ' minutes and ', ':'), FIND(' seconds', SUBSTITUTE({Fulfillment Time}, ' minutes and ', ':')) - 1)) But it will return an incorrect number or 0 seconds if the Fulfillment Time would have "1 minute" or "1 second" since the formula above only captures "minutes" and "seconds". I've been trying to find solution for days now.Temporarily, I'm cleaning the data thru Google sheet changing the minute to minutes and second to seconds. Also adding 0 seconds if the data only says (sample) "3 minutes" and adding 0 minutes if the data only says (sample) "45 seconds". PLEASE HELP

Hi, there!! I need an automation to do exactly what the subject of the topic says. We’ll fill the e-mail field in Table 2 from a csv import. Then we need the automation to lookup that email on Table 1, get the Name value corresponding and then fill the field Aluno in table 2. I found a script in another post that I adapted to what I need but I’m still learning to code so I need help to fix my script. Can anyone pleeeease give me a help? About the script: I added 2 variables - tho I don’t actually need record ID - but I followed the instructions on the other post. Variable 1 is recordID and the value is Airtable record ID Variable 2 is email and the value is email Both variables are being pulled from Table 2 let config = input.config(); let table1 = base.getTable("Base de Alunos"); let table2 = base.getTable("Entregas Plataforma"); let query = await table1.selectRecordsAsync({fields: table1.fields}); let found = query.records.filter(record => record.getCellValueAsString("Nome") == c
