Hi,I'm trying to import duration data from a CSV (e.g., "2:52:32" meaning 2 hours, 52 min, 32 sec). The Airtable  Duration field is set up correctly (I think?) with the h:mm:ss time format selected. I want to keep it as a duration field so I can calculate sums, avgs, etc.When I import the data, the duration is not aligned correctly. For example, the original duration in the CSV is "23:51:52," but when it's imported, the duration is showing as "0:23."What can I do to correct this? Thank you so much.

I am trying to take the word count of a book (ex: 100,000 words)divide that by 9,300 (which is how many words an average narrator can read per hour)to come out with the actual time in HH:MM format. This is the formula I have currently and how it turns out. .   What formula would I use to divide the word count by 9300 to come out with a HH:MM?

Hi,Looking at creating a dashboard for an CRM/ERP application. One key metric to show would be conversion, i.e. percentage of leads that became customers. Since the dashboard "Number" element can only summarise a given column, not perform calculations between columns, I created a new table "BI" to hold various metrics that I will need.In that table it is easy to link e.g. all contacts and perform rollups and formula calculations to get the needed metric. But then I realised I seemingly cannot place an individual record, say "Overall conversion" (formula: customers / all leads) in the dashboard.I found that number or graph elements could be used to summarise e.g. yes/no columns which in a way would show the same information, but I'd prefer a simple "Conversion: 42%" instead of a whole graph with all the other, unnecessary information.How would you go about this?Rgds,Björn

Hi! Currently I have a field which is returning a "Modified At" date. This field is a standard field (no formula) and it is returning the modified date of another field (our "Feedback" field).This is what it is returning in a problematic record:However, when I look at the revision history of the record, it says that the most recent update to this field was one month ago.Can someone help me understand why there is a lack of parity between this modified at date and the revision history?

Whilst a fan of online apps and data, the paranoid in me wonders what I would do if your website goes down or gets compromised. Is there an easy way to backup my bases for local storage?

I know we can export data in .csv format but is there really no option in Airtable to basically download/export the whole DB?

I have a problem with a script that worked and all of a sudden, stopped to work:"App Name" is a linked record field. "Add App On Sign Up" is another linked record field. If I have a custom script as an action in an automation, is there anyway to have a catch or else statement that would create a failed automation notification like there is for the built in actions?Meaning, how can I set up a notification system if a custom script fails?

Hello! I am trying to format my data in a very specific way and require underscores between the text. I know when using a Lookup and formula there are challenges because the Lookup format is not a string and the commas within the field do not actually exist. I tried converting the field to a string and using a substitute formula but that just removed the commas and spaces from the field. Current Lookup Format: pa, nv, flSubstitute Format: panvflDesired Format: pa_nv_flDoes anyone know if there is a formula to add underscores to a lookup field that contains multiple options?Thank you in advance and I appreciate any support in solving this!

Hello,We're an edtech startup for high school students.In addition to the in-app exams and quizzes, we also run offline exams in Telegram groups to mimic school exams (around 3 times a week).We send out a pdf to a group chat, and then each student solves the exam by hand, and then takes a picture and sends it back to us. Our teachers then give each student a grade and reply to that student. This is important because we want to see the steps in their solutions.These offline test scores need to saved so we can achieve the following:- Keep track of each student's scores over the school year- We send out report cards based on these scores- Check if a student doesn't have a score recorded, so we can check if they didn't do the assignment (assuming it wasn't an error on our side)- Keep track of when our teachers submit a score (to ensure timely responses)Right now this is all done on sheets.We were thinking of using Airtable.Do you think this is something that can be achieved? Trying to automate our UPC code generation (not the barcode image). We have our company prefix, and I know how to do the check sum. What I can’t figure out in AT is to process the current numbers already used/assigned in our block, and see what is the first missing number in the sequence. So we should have 10K numbers in our block, 00000 - 99999. We have used random numbers in past, all done manually. I would like to do this automatically in future by looking at that above sequence, removing anything that has been used, and then using the lowest number possible to start auto assigning SKU’s to projects moving forward. If this needs to be a script, can it be run by a button and/or an automation triggered by conditions?

I am using Airtable to manage a sales pipeline. I have created a sales dashboard using interfaces which reads across all opportunities. I want to be able to create quarterly and monthly reports by duplicating this dashboard and then filtering the records it reads to a specific date range.I can't seem to find the option for filtering a dashboard at the global level - does it exist?

Odd one, but I've noticed it a couple of times in the last week, so I wonder if it's a quirk of a new update.Basically I have a Status dropdown with a default option applied, called PlannedOne view that has some filters, including "If {dropdown} = ARCHIVE: Amendment"There is no grouping for the dropdown options in this view.Yet, when I create a new record it defaults to ARCHIVE: Amendment.This is how the filters are setup. Anyone know why this is? It's very frustrating. Is this a bug?

Hello!Anyone have an idea as to why my line graph is a bunch of scribbles? I want to chart number of applicants to specific majors overtime from term to term. The terms are in the correct chronological order on the x-axis, but for some reason the lines start in random terms and jump to other random terms.Thank you for any help!  

I have a table of projects. Associated with each project is multiple teams and multiple quarters. Both the quarters and teams fields are sourced from linked records.I would like automation (or script) to create related projects in another table, one per multiselect field combination. I've tried creating a script with ChatGPT, but no luck. I also so some other solutions in the community that were similar, but not quite the same as my situation. Any suggestions? 

I want to link specific words (like "Click here") in one of my tables to a cell in another table in the same database. "Copying the Cell URL" does work... for those who have an Airtable account. I need "the public" to be able to follow that link from the webpage where I have this table embedded.I've been researching this for hours and can't find anything. What am I missing? 

Hi, I am generating a URL by concatenating a URL string and then the Airtable record ID. Between my URL string and that ID, there is always a byte mark like “%EF%BB%BF” added (for example, when using the URL in an email automation). Any way to remove that since the URL leads to a 404 otherwise?

Hi everyone, New to Airtable but love it so far, and am hoping to have the following question answered. I am creating a project / task tracker for my team, ultimately going to create an interface which would have the following hierarchy:Project > Tasks > Subtasks. I know I only have 3 levels so I'm trying to display the DRI name under the Subtask table in order for me to group it correctly. I created the correct tables which are linked properly (I think). Here is my question: How can I mirror the DRI in my Project table to auto-populate in my task and subtask tables? This will help me group my views properly. Thank you

I have a base set up to log participant feedback after people attend a program. Respondents fill out a form and give ratings to questions related to different dimensions (belongingness, context, etc.); I currently have responses linked to activities and program profiles, which determine the specific dimensions that are presented in the survey.I want to make a Likert chart for each program that shows the distribution of ratings for each dimension. To do that, the response data needs to be arranged as below, where the cells are counts of the number of people giving each response for each dimension:I've played with creating different views, experimented with rollups and formulas, but I haven't found an approach that gives me the output I need without requiring me to transcribe counts manually into the correct table format.Any help or insight (ideally without requiring the purchase of additional extensions) is greatly appreciated!!

Hi all! I’m in desperate need of a way to get the data I have in a table into Google Sheets. I would prefer not to use Integromat, but a script. I’m not a developer… I found a script (https://www.optimi.co.nz/blog/2019/05/11/you-too-can-make-dashboards-how-to-visualise-your-airtable-data-in-google-data-studio) but it pulls all the columns of the table and I would like it to pull only the ones that are not hidden in a specific view. Also, since I will be referring to those columns in other sheets, I need their order not to chance when it updates. Any suggestions? @Bill.French? Thank you!!

Hello and thank you for adding me to this group.I am attempting to do something that on the surface appears relatively simple however I am not quite able to figure out a work around for the issue.I am building out a bidding module to my base.I have a Series of tables starting with "Projects" then "Bids" then "Bid Line Items" where I then roll up the total of a set of Line Item expenses "Bid Amount*" to the Bids Table. I want to use that rollup in the "Primary" field as part of a formula however I get a circular reference error.Is there an easy way to extract that information and use it in a formula? Thank you!
