I have a set of Businesses on Table A and a Form that will create a new User for Table B. I want a User to search through the Businesses using an Interface, click on a button from a specific Business record, and then be able to fill out a form that will create a new User record on Table B that is linked to a Business on Table A. (Does that makes sense?)Is there a way to do this in one step? I see where I can "Go to external URL" to launch the New User form, but is there a way to simultaneously copy the Business record information as I launch the new User form? Is there a better way to think about this?Automations make the most sense because I can only select one button Action, but is there a way to launch a Form via Automations?

Hi, I have problem that synced table missing data. I have one Master base and second base where is synced data from Master base. Today I found that one specific record missing value from Master base (not sure right now If I have more records that are missing data, because I have almost 4k records and 20+tables in Airtable Master base and many many linked to another records fields 🙄I already created a bug ticket to support but no answer so far (time difference etc)Is anyone having the same issue with linked to another record field? I found that in January some users had the same problem.It is must be feature for our company because the data should end up on Wordpress eventually (like prices etc)picture in attachment

Hello everyone, In Germany, there is a regulation in the Occupational Health and Safety Act that states workers who work between 11 PM and 6 AM receive an additional allowance on their salary. This involves a complex formula, which even ChatGPT struggles with. Maybe there is someone here who is smarter than AI.My table includes a date field including time field named {Start} and a date field including time field named {End}. I want a formula that calculates the hours/minutes that fall within the period from 11 PM to 6 AM.Example: Max starts his shift at 8 PM and works until 4 AM. The formula should now calculate 5 hours.Can someone help me?

Hello,I have weird behavior when sending a webhook.For this project, I am working on a free airtable space. So I can't use scripts.This is a table in which I have large images. I want to reduce them (basically, go from 3-4 MB to 150 KB).I have a Make scenario which is fine except that it receives the duplicate webhook and therefore triggers twice.In Airtable, I have an automation that will copy a webhook into an attachment field to launch the webhookthe trigger: when the “Image” field is updatedthe webhook: a formula = WH Make & record ID Airtable & a timestamp of the modified las (without the timestamp, the WH is always identical and Airtable only triggers it the first time)When I modify the image, the autom airtable only fires once, but Make receives 2 webhooksAnyone have any idea why? (and a solution)

When making an Automation to email me when a form is submitted (as this apparently isn't an option built into the form anymore?) When I select the 'When a Form is submitted' Trigger Type, I can't find the form in the drop down...Any thoughts? 

I have a table in a base, but I want to move this table to a different base.  However, I am using it as a linked table in other tables' fields.   Is it possible to move this table to another base and keep the linked record information on the other tables?  Or it will break the links?Thanks in advance.

It is quite disappointing logging into the new interface today. Already it has caused inconvenience to its users and I hope users will get the option to choose the interface that works best for them. One major issue is the inability to sort workspaces in the order you want, which can make it challenging to find specific workspaces quickly, especially if you have many of them. Hello All, I need help with a nested IF statement that references a formula date field. I'm not sure if this is causing my issues, but I can only get my formula to output two of the four values. Hi my org does school lessons, we have lessons, teachers (who host the lesson), and our educators (who deliver the lesson). These are spread across 3 tables, with lessons having links to an educator and one or more teachers. I want to calculate the number of unique teachers an educator has reached. So I created a rollup field on the educator that uses COUNTA(ARRAYUNIQUE(values)) on the lesson's teachers. This works great if each lesson only has one teacher. But some lessons have multiple teachers, I tried a workaround using a lookup field and then a formula using ARRAYUNIQUE but that didn't work, as apparently the array formulas are just for rollup operations. Hi all,Using Make, Airtable and an API, I built an automation that scrapes reviews of a cultural event from Google Maps. On Google, the date on which a user left a review is not given. Instead, Google provides us with a time period that matches the amount of time that elapsed since the user left his/her review (e.g. 'one year ago'). This type of data does not make it easy to sort reviews in a chronological order. Consequently, I went about transforming this type of data into dates.For this data conversion, I created intermediary fields – Time Unit Count, Time Unit Type and Search Date – that I then combine in a formula in the Date field. But I'm unsatisfied with 2 of those intermediary fields' formulas.1. Time Unit Type field: for this field, I used a series of nested IF statements because I didn't manage to use the SWITCH function properly in this use case. This gives me a long and not-very-clear formula.Would any of you guys have a more elegant solution to suggest?2. Time Unit Count

Hello! I currently am using Make to funnel in data from a webhook and then create a record in airtable. My goal currently is to be able to display Events per hour for each day of the week, I am essentially trying to recreate the table in the screenshot below:I've been playing with it for the last few days but am struggling with the best way to accomplish this. I believe one of my issues is that the "Date-Time" isn't explicitly coming from the webhook and rather just Airtables "Date" data type with the "Use current Date". Just looking for any guidance/nudges in the right direction on how I could accomplish recreating the table below. .

We are a medical practice and often use fax as a way to communicate securely to our referral network. Is there fax capability built in Airtable? If so, how do I do this? If not, is there a way to setup faxing via a third party application? 

Hi Airtable Community,I have two table named "Task Assignment" and "Employees". I have linked the Employees table to the Task Assignment table using a linked record called "Assignee". Now I want to send an email every time I add a task inside the "Task Assignment" table. I have added a lookup field in the "Task Assignment" but is is not available in the automations.Please let me know how to tackle the issue. Thanks

I'm getting a redundant record when using the For Each [multi-select] create record on a Form is created trigger. Simply delete or is there a better way?Fee Table, 'Add Fee' Form has a multi-select 'Fee Type' field (advance on signature, advance on delivery, advance on publication, royalty)Automation trigger 'When a form is created', with a  For Each [Fee Type] create record. Works beautifully apart from the initial record which has all of the multi-select options. I used Kuovonne's delete record script to delete this redundant record which is clean and fast.But feels like a workaround - like I missed a lesson at school. Any pointers?

I am trying to display name, title, image, etc.. or would I be better using something I am more familiar with like Supabase. any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Steve 

Hello therei have an automation that was working fine, now when i try to test it, i can't get past the trigger. the trigger works, but when i try to evaluate the conditions for the first action group (or any other action group) i get an error instead of an "yes, matches conditions" or "no, doesn't match conditions". strangely, this automation worked until now. is the error possible related to airtable general maintenance or issues and not to my automation at all. or do you guys know what kind of conditions throw such an error instead of getting evaluated. very strange 😞

Hello Airtable family, I’ve previously explored how to sort the linked records, finding the best approach was a manual sort using the ‘Batch Update Block.’ The purpose was so that when using our Airtable-based ordering system, when we clicked a customer record in the customer table, it would show linked orders sorted with the most recent orders at the top. As I’m not the only one entering orders, it’s become a bit tedious and/or unreliable to use this method. I’m looking for a way to do it programmatically, either with an automation, scripting, or using even using Integromat. In theory, I’m thinking the best approach might be an automation script that only triggers when a customers ‘linked orders’ array changes, though not sure how to set that up with views, triggers, ect. I can likely figure out the script part from pseudo code. Any suggestions or ideas to try, I’m all ears! (Or, eyes…?) Kris

I am a real novice at formulas and I have been unable to work out what I have done wrong. Can somebody please tell me. DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(01-11-2019),{DOB LInk},‘Y’) I am trying to return the age of a person based on the difference between the DOB and the date in the future. What I have here works sometimes but sometimes gives the incorrect age. The problem occurs if the dob is later in the year than todays date. Airtable AYM Festival test 2019 - Airtable Explore the "AYM Festival test 2019 " base on Airtable. Hopefully the link will show that the first age (for Jacob) is correct but the second line for (Peter) is one year out.

I have an automation set up to add an event to my google calendar. It is working fine except, the end date it shows on the calendar is showing up the day before it ends. I have the events with no time listed because i do not want a specific start and end time for them. When i have the all day box checked in the automation It is showing on the calendar as ending a day earlier. When i make the "all day" under configurations in the automation dynamic and pick the end date it gives the start time and end time as 8AM in google calendar.  Is there a solution for this? Hi, I have a table where I add any investment into a company done. So, each row contains a field which is  linked record that link the investment to a record in table "company".But we can invest several times in one company. So I want to create a view that could display the last investment made for each company. I thought creating a new "single select" field called "active investment?", and having "active" option automatically selected for the latest investment made for a company. But I can't figure out how to do this double condition (having the "company" in the "linked field" and being the earliest date). Does someone know how to do something like this? Thank you,  Have a nice day 

Hey,I want to help my father's business and automate it to be more efficient and save him time.The problem is that he is not technological at all and he gets a bit complicated and I am afraid that he will destroy or enter wrong data (enter empty records or accidentally click on things).I wanted to ask you how you would deal with it?I thought maybe creating forms to create customers, a form to edit the details of the customers, etc.is this a good idea?I would love to hear from you how you would behave.Thanks
