Beginner here, asking a question which has no doubt been asked a lot and probably has a simple, obvious answer! Apologies in advance...I have one table containing all of our customer bookings. In this table there is a formula field that takes the date that the booking was made and assigns it a week number based on a weeknum formula.I have another table where I have the week numbers listed from 1-52 in a field. The outcome I want is to have other fields that adds up figures from the customer bookings that took place in the same week number. Simple SUM-like formulas that add up how long the bookings went for, how much they cost etc (all of which are fields in the original customer bookings tables).I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms when I am googling this info but I haven't found anything that helps as yet.I made a mock base that might better show what I've got and what I want Basically, I was hoping to have those Total hours and Total $$ fields autofill with the details based o

Hi, I don't know if it is possible and I don't how to do it, or if it is a feature that is still not available in airtable.I have 2 tables: Reports and Users.I divided the reports by categories (1,2,3 etc), and I created different views for each category.I would like to lookup or rollup the category in the user table based on the different views that I created in the report table. In this way, I will filter the users by the categories, and I can apply some automation. Without this feature, I have, for example a person that has this: I would like, for example, that this person has only the code "5" and filter all the other data based on that.Is there any way that I can do this? Thank you 🙏

I want to store the total number of employees in the programs table to calculate the participation rate. Additionally, I'd like to break down the number of employees by position to calculate the participation rate for each position. I have three tables: Programs, Employees, and Tasks. While I can easily count the number of employees who complete each program or task, I am struggling with creating a field that sums the number of employees from the employee's table and places that total in the program's table to calculate the participation percentage.

I've read some posts in this forum and all of them were asking to use a third party which needs to pay more again. I'm having a hard time finding a simple script that will allow you to duplicate a record via automation.My end goal:Trigger: When a record matches a condition (i.e. a checkbox is checked off)Action: Run script --> this is where I can't find a script online! I need to evaluate whether or not an attachment field is blank with an IF statement. Variations of double quotes and the BLANK() function don't do the trick. Any ideas?

Hello,This is a variant on an earlier topic. I have a base where users input lengthy URLs into several fields, and corresponding display text in separate fields. I've been using the workaround where a formula field does this calculation: CONCATENATE("[",{name},"](",{URL},")") and an automation takes that field and copies it into a rich-text-formatted long text field. It's clunky, and even clunkier when you have a bunch of markdown formula fields in your base. I'd like to do this with just an automation, but when I try to do it exactly the same way, I get text output like  [Airtable](www.airtable.com)whereas my formula approach gives Airtable  Here's the automation script I'm using. Hello, I am new to airtable. I need help with records. I have created 1250 records in my table even though i am on freeplan. I am not sure if i should add more rows records or not? 

My first post! This community has been very helpful. I’m still fairly new to airtable and hope someone can help with this problem. I have a Google Sheet with a date field, a start time field, and a stop time field. I want to import it into a table with 2 fields: {date and start time} and {stop time}. I tried to join fields in google sheets, then upload, but it only uploads the date correctly, and the time is ‘12:00am’. I’ve tried different date/time formats, but that hasn’t worked, and made the problem worse in some cases. For example it only works with the 12 hr format, when I tried 24 hour, neither the date nor time uploaded. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there, I’m looking to create a formula column based off a column which has multiple fields.The Column has one or multiple of SD/HD, UHD, HDR or SDR.I want to create a new column called “Available in UHD?” where if one of UHD, HDR or SDR is there then show Yes. If it has only SD/HD then show no. Any help would be appreciated.

can you please help me convert this to the proper duration format? OR maybe into Seconds.I have the formula below:VALUE(LEFT(SUBSTITUTE({Fulfillment Time}, ' minutes and ', ':'), FIND(' seconds', SUBSTITUTE({Fulfillment Time}, ' minutes and ', ':')) - 1)) But it will return an incorrect number or 0 seconds if the Fulfillment Time would have "1 minute" or "1 second" since the formula above only captures "minutes" and "seconds". I've been trying to find solution for days now.Temporarily, I'm cleaning the data thru Google sheet changing the minute to minutes and second to seconds. Also adding 0 seconds if the data only says (sample) "3 minutes" and adding 0 minutes if the data only says (sample) "45 seconds". PLEASE HELP

Hi, there!! I need an automation to do exactly what the subject of the topic says. We’ll fill the e-mail field in Table 2 from a csv import. Then we need the automation to lookup that email on Table 1, get the Name value corresponding and then fill the field Aluno in table 2. I found a script in another post that I adapted to what I need but I’m still learning to code so I need help to fix my script. Can anyone pleeeease give me a help? I want to set a Date field to the current date time in an automation. I tried using a formula field (with NOW()) from a previous step in the automation to set this Date field but the automation fails with the error;Field "Date" cannot accept the provided value: Could not convert string to date.No amount of formatting of the formula field is helping. 

I am setting up some automation alerts for records that have incomplete information.I would like to trigger an automation if a new record is created to highlight any records that haven't been correctly filled in.Of course, the newly created record won't have had all the data filled in.I am getting a bit stuck trying to "find records" with a "when record is created" trigger that excludes the record being created.Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a base for supervisors to approve staff requests. I'd like it so supervisors cannot see each others requests or notes. So I have built an interface that is set so they can only see 'Viewers records only,' which is looking at the field: Supervisor, which is a user field. So now I need to add my supervisors to the user field but I cannot see how to do that without adding them to the base itself, which I don't want them to have access to. It will let me add them one by one via their email and it says it won't add them to the base, but I need them in the actual dropdown (for automation purposes). Is there a way to do this? I'm finding it hard to believe that I can shut down access to the base for privacy (by not adding them as collaborators), OR shut down access to the interface for privacy (by using the 'viewers records only' feature), but not both?!

Hey guys,I have noticed an issue recently where "Find Records" from a view is not pulling all records from said view, it's only pulling the first 10. I have maximum record limit set to 1000. The view is definitely pulling more records then that. Anyone else having this bug? And does anyone know a fix?Thanks.

I am trying  to connect Google API to access Google Drive and Google Docs inside Airtable automation script.I setup a project with credentials and redirect URI on Google Cloud console and I am able to successfully get authorize code and access token.However I realized that access token might not work in case automation as it expires after 1 hour and I will need refresh token to refresh the access token after it is expired.So i am trying to change my code where I am storing the refresh token, access token and expiry time in a table on Airtable Base. As ever, something that I think should he simple is proving anything but.I have a table with 4 simple fields:MakeModelLineExists ?DellLatitude2243 HPProbookM123 DellOptiplexC132 I have another table with similar Make, Model, Line fieldsI would like to change the value of Exists in the first table to 'True' if there is a record in the second table that has a matching Make/Model/Line combination.I created an automation that works (sort of) in testing mode. It actually saves one of the values in to the Exists? field as I haven't worked out how to make it say 'True'.But I can't work out how to run the automation on demand. I have tried having a checkbox field in the first table and watching that field, but that doesn't seem to trigger the automation. I would ideally have a button field on each record - sort of 'Check this' - or a button that would check all the fields in the first table.How should I attack this ?

I have a “Campaign Name” table that contains a “Product” field (which uses abbreviations).The “Campaign Name” table has a formula field which uses the “Product” values (along with other fields) to generate a campaign name.Our request form (on the “Campaign Name” table) uses the “Product” field, which shows the abbreviations in a picklist. You can only choose one Product per campaign.I have created a new “Products" table which maps the Product Codes (abbreviations) with full Product Names.For example:Product CodeProduct NameWDGWidgetWhat I would like to do is have the form display the Product Name to the user but still use the Product Code when generating the campaign name. Is this done just with Lookup fields, or is another formula required to do the mapping? And then what product field am I referencing in the existing formula that generates the campaign name in the "Campaign Name" table?

I need to ensure no dates in my base land on a weekend or holiday. I’m trying to use the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) formula to accomplish this. However… issues. I’m using “0” as numDays since I do not want to add any days if the date already lands on a working day. This does not move the date however if it lands on a weekend or holiday. If I change numDays to “1”, then the date automatically moves forward a day, regardless if the original date already lands on a weekday. How can I resolve this? I am trying to create a formula to calculate the number of days a specific status is active. For example, how many days the ticket is "On Hold". The need is to calculate the number of days the ticket was actually active, in other words the difference between the {Closed Date} and the {Created Date}, minus the number of days the ticket was in a "On Hold" status. However, I am not finding a way to keep the counter, when the status changes. Currently, the counter resets to 0 when the status changes. If you could advise me on how to do this, that would be great!

Hi there and Happy Friday!I am trying to calculate the time it takes an individual to get a specific type of number at the time they enroll in our program.The formula I have is essentially, "If the individual does not have a preexisting number, calculate the time difference between the date they got the number and the date they enrolled in the program." The formula is: IF({LO has FTN at time of Enrollment}="No",WORKDAY_DIFF({Enrollment Date},{Turned in FTN})) That works but if “Turned in FTN” is blank, the calculation results in "#ERROR" and I hate "#ERROR". So, that means I need to add something like, “If “Turned in FTN” = Blank, then “””. I tried adding that a few different ways but am still getting #ERROR. Any ideas how to get rid of the #ERROR? Thanks in advance!
