Hi, there!! I need an automation to do exactly what the subject of the topic says. We’ll fill the e-mail field in Table 2 from a csv import. Then we need the automation to lookup that email on Table 1, get the Name value corresponding and then fill the field Aluno in table 2. I found a script in another post that I adapted to what I need but I’m still learning to code so I need help to fix my script. Can anyone pleeeease give me a help? About the script: I added 2 variables - tho I don’t actually need record ID - but I followed the instructions on the other post. I want to set a Date field to the current date time in an automation. I tried using a formula field (with NOW()) from a previous step in the automation to set this Date field but the automation fails with the error;Field "Date" cannot accept the provided value: Could not convert string to date.No amount of formatting of the formula field is helping. 

I am setting up some automation alerts for records that have incomplete information.I would like to trigger an automation if a new record is created to highlight any records that haven't been correctly filled in.Of course, the newly created record won't have had all the data filled in.I am getting a bit stuck trying to "find records" with a "when record is created" trigger that excludes the record being created.Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a base for supervisors to approve staff requests. I'd like it so supervisors cannot see each others requests or notes. So I have built an interface that is set so they can only see 'Viewers records only,' which is looking at the field: Supervisor, which is a user field. So now I need to add my supervisors to the user field but I cannot see how to do that without adding them to the base itself, which I don't want them to have access to. It will let me add them one by one via their email and it says it won't add them to the base, but I need them in the actual dropdown (for automation purposes). Is there a way to do this? I'm finding it hard to believe that I can shut down access to the base for privacy (by not adding them as collaborators), OR shut down access to the interface for privacy (by using the 'viewers records only' feature), but not both?!

Hey guys,I have noticed an issue recently where "Find Records" from a view is not pulling all records from said view, it's only pulling the first 10. I have maximum record limit set to 1000. The view is definitely pulling more records then that. Anyone else having this bug? And does anyone know a fix?Thanks.

I am trying  to connect Google API to access Google Drive and Google Docs inside Airtable automation script.I setup a project with credentials and redirect URI on Google Cloud console and I am able to successfully get authorize code and access token.However I realized that access token might not work in case automation as it expires after 1 hour and I will need refresh token to refresh the access token after it is expired.So i am trying to change my code where I am storing the refresh token, access token and expiry time in a table on Airtable Base. As ever, something that I think should he simple is proving anything but.I have a table with 4 simple fields:MakeModelLineExists ?DellLatitude2243 HPProbookM123 DellOptiplexC132 I have another table with similar Make, Model, Line fieldsI would like to change the value of Exists in the first table to 'True' if there is a record in the second table that has a matching Make/Model/Line combination.I created an automation that works (sort of) in testing mode. It actually saves one of the values in to the Exists? field as I haven't worked out how to make it say 'True'.But I can't work out how to run the automation on demand. I have tried having a checkbox field in the first table and watching that field, but that doesn't seem to trigger the automation. I would ideally have a button field on each record - sort of 'Check this' - or a button that would check all the fields in the first table.How should I attack this ?

I have a “Campaign Name” table that contains a “Product” field (which uses abbreviations).The “Campaign Name” table has a formula field which uses the “Product” values (along with other fields) to generate a campaign name.Our request form (on the “Campaign Name” table) uses the “Product” field, which shows the abbreviations in a picklist. You can only choose one Product per campaign.I have created a new “Products" table which maps the Product Codes (abbreviations) with full Product Names.For example:Product CodeProduct NameWDGWidgetWhat I would like to do is have the form display the Product Name to the user but still use the Product Code when generating the campaign name. Is this done just with Lookup fields, or is another formula required to do the mapping? And then what product field am I referencing in the existing formula that generates the campaign name in the "Campaign Name" table?

I need to ensure no dates in my base land on a weekend or holiday. I’m trying to use the WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) formula to accomplish this. However… issues. I’m using “0” as numDays since I do not want to add any days if the date already lands on a working day. This does not move the date however if it lands on a weekend or holiday. If I change numDays to “1”, then the date automatically moves forward a day, regardless if the original date already lands on a weekday. How can I resolve this? Is there a “if weekday” formula that I can add in? See More

I am trying to create a formula to calculate the number of days a specific status is active. For example, how many days the ticket is "On Hold". The need is to calculate the number of days the ticket was actually active, in other words the difference between the {Closed Date} and the {Created Date}, minus the number of days the ticket was in a "On Hold" status. However, I am not finding a way to keep the counter, when the status changes. Currently, the counter resets to 0 when the status changes. If you could advise me on how to do this, that would be great!

Hi there and Happy Friday!I am trying to calculate the time it takes an individual to get a specific type of number at the time they enroll in our program.The formula I have is essentially, "If the individual does not have a preexisting number, calculate the time difference between the date they got the number and the date they enrolled in the program." The formula is: IF({LO has FTN at time of Enrollment}="No",WORKDAY_DIFF({Enrollment Date},{Turned in FTN})) That works but if “Turned in FTN” is blank, the calculation results in "#ERROR" and I hate "#ERROR". So, that means I need to add something like, “If “Turned in FTN” = Blank, then “””. I tried adding that a few different ways but am still getting #ERROR. Any ideas how to get rid of the #ERROR? Thanks in advance!  

Hi! I'm trying to set up my first automation so that whenever someone submits a survey, AT sends that person an email with a summary of their responses. The client base are outside of the company and don't use AirTable beyond this survey, so I figured the automation route would be best. When I test using a test record I created in the base, it appears to run successfully. However, the first person submitted the survey yesterday and the automation keeps failing with the "The "To" input is empty" error. I currently have it set to popular the "To" field based on what the user enters in that question on the survey. I triple-checked the run that failed, and the user entered an email in that field, so I'm not sure why it's still saying it's blank. Should I add another step somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help! 

We create QR codes pretty frequently in our marketing collateral and it's not infrequent that we find out after something has been printed/distributed that we need to revise the URL it's point to for whatever reason.   I know there are a few services out there to generate a QR code. Is there a way to manage the associated URL though so if we need to redirect it at some point, we can?   

Hi guys!I'm using Ubiqod for attendance tracking in our company. When you scan code, you click on the correct button (arrival, break, going home). After you submit it, the data comes to google sheet and with automation it gets to the Airtable. Now the problem occured. The timestamp from the google sheets it's not the same in the airtable. My guess is that this has got to do something with the different timezones. Hello! I've got an inventory board ("Print Products") that has hundreds of products (each with variable quantities). I add new amounts of each product regularly (in "Order Received" and "Products Received" for individual line items). When I sell items they go in "Order Sold" (with "Products Sold" for individual line items).The problem is, I move various amounts of various products between multiple locations. Sometimes they sell at a location, but sometimes they don't and I need to move unsold inventory around between locations. I created another table "Currently At" to try to keep track of how much inventory was at each location, but I'm finding it incredibly time consuming and tedious to input each quantity one line item at a time so that I can check in/check out the different quantities of each product. I was able to write an automation so that when I put something in "Products Sold" it automatically put it in "Currently At" with the correct quantity decrement. I can make forms

How can I display a ratio between two values in interface (dashboard)?I have the field "hours" in a base.In the dashboard I want to display the number of hours last week divided in a static number.Like:All records from last week.Total amount of hours from those records.Divided in 8.Plot this on a chart so I can see progress over time. I'm OK to go through a new table in the base to solve the problem

Hi Airtable Community,  is there a way to auto assign tasks according to a single select field. I have a single select with multible Teams (CRM, Website, Social Media etc.). I want a new record to be auto assigned to the team lead of the team from the single select field. New records will be created with a form.  Best regardsMirko

Hey,I have an automation that when the status changes to "done" an email is sent to the customer.Is it possible to send an email to the customer from the email of the user who changed the status?For example, if I change the status to "done" then an email will be sent to the customer from me, but if someone else from the company changes the status then an email will be sent to the customer from him.

I need to search records in multiple databases and if the search result is not empty then set a variable for that particular organization. I will then compose an email using non empty variables. Scan Airtable A base, if the output is not empty, set the variable Clinic A to results. Scan Airtable B base, if the output is not empty, set the variable Clinic B to results. Compose email that includes non empty variables: Hi John Smith, Please submit the following items: Clinic A variable (has value - not empty) [Clinic B variable is not included as the variable in the previous scenario was empty due to no search results) Can’t figure this one out as Integromat requires everything to go in a flow as I am using filters to filter in or out empty search results. But if search results for variable A are not passed then the rest of the flow does not happen.

Hey guys, I host my own pub quiz and since I’ve done around 80 of them I start forgetting and sometimes I add question I had before. I’m looking to make a database which I’d update after each quiz so I can quickly search for keywords or answers. This tool does seem really useful and I’m willing to explore it.
