Hi - I am trying to update a forecast in case the field hasn't been updated for over a month. The idea is that if there are no updates, the forecast would lower by 10%. It all looks great, until I have to "Update record", I pull the record ID (dynamic) and added the field "Forecasted" and also make it dynamic. I add the field "Forecasted" and multiply it by 0.9. However, this creates an error. Here are the different versions and the results: "Forecasted"*0.9 --> Error"Forecasted"(0.90) --> Error"Forecasted".9 --> If the original value was $15,000 it shows $150,001 (maybe it thinks I want to move the decimal place?)"Forecasted""Multiply by" --> I created the field "Multiply by" to all equal 0.9 in the data, but whenever I place both of them together, no changes"Forecasted"*"Multiply by" --> Error"Forecasted"10% --> ErrorThis should be simple, the formula is pretty easy, but for some reason I can't get it to work. HiI am trying to use below code (Google Apps Script) to get data from Airtable. The fetch request succeeds but the fields are returned as text [Object]. I am not able to see actual data. However the request works from other HTTP clients like Bruno.I have observed another issue. The code with small change marked below used to return data perfectly till couple of days ago but suddenly started throwing error 422. Hey Airtable Community!I have a problem that's been bugging me for some time and I can't seem to solve it, so I decided to ask for your help.I have an automation on Make.com that pulls data from my bank account, looks for transactions by [transactionId] in my Airtable base and, if not present, adds a new record. The problem though is that the filter formula I'm using in my API call sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.What I mean is when I perform tests, everything runs fine and after a few days the formula stops working - it doesn't identify correctly the records that are already in the the table and adds them again, effectively duplicating existing records. Hi everyone, I'm a beginner at airtable automation (so excuse the novice question) - I'm trying to figure out how to set up an automation to send an email with attachment when a new record is created. Same attachment will be going to all emails. More info: 1. User fills out a form on website with email address. 2. New record is created in Airtable table "Contacts" with the email address3. I think this record then needs to be updated to include the attachment (unsure how to do this) so that it can be attached in the email automationAny help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I've read through several help topics and I am still having issues, hoping someone can help me. I have a field that is counting the days between the due date and todays date. I have a list of people linked to projects in my Airtable base and I’m attempting to have the slack messages from my automation tag the user associated with the record matching the conditions when the automation runs. I’ve tried inputting the slack id as a look-up from the roster table, I’ve made a formula that concatenates it into a string, I’ve tried it both as id (with <@ and > added in message text) and <@id> in the methods above, but none of this results in a proper tag. The only tag I’ve been able to make work is when I hard-code one into the automation message, but that obviously isn’t dynamic. Has anybody had success here? FWIW; whenever I try to include the field with the Slack id into the message, it doesn’t show up in Slack at all, so I know at some point it’s getting filtered out.

Why are elements (groups) in an airtable dashboard non resizable? I added a dashboard interface in airtable with two number groups that show the count of companies and two chart groups. When I click on the expand button on the chart group, I want it to display the pie chart and the list in a descending order with details below. Though this is seen currently, I am not able to resize the charts or increase the size of the list table below. The table is seen as a thin scrollable section at the bottom and it is a very tedious experience for a user to scroll again and again when in fact the page can be otherwise utilized to show a bigger table. (see screenshot below) As a work around, I tried to create a dashboard using a blank interface. However now the number or chart element is not clickable and it is static. This makes me think airtable dashboard is not a very cohesive tool. If one feature is present, it lacks in another feature. Is there a suggestion to show better dashboards

Hello,As projects come to a close, I want to review how successful my team was on staying on task and completing tasks by the deadline. My base is set up to flag overdue tasks, so I know in the moment when something is overdue and needs to get done ASAP. But I'd like to take a look at the project retroactively after all tasks in the project have been marked as complete and see how many of them were finished late.I can then investigate if I have projects that need adjustments or support (unrealistic deadlines, bandwidth issues, employee struggling, etc.).Any suggestions on how to do this quickly?

I’m working with a group that has users shared at the Workspace level but now what’s to remove them from the Workspace level and share them on individual bases. I was surprised to find that users who are shared at the Workspace level can’t be shared as the Base level. Trying to do so creates an alert message that says “this user is already shared on this base.” Is it possible to shift users from Workspace to Base level access without first removing them from the Workspace and then adding them to the Base?

I just created a budget table, and three fields(cost, products, and source) are integrated with the product table  (pulling the cost field from the product table when I choose a particular product from the budget table). if the cost field is empty or 0 in the product table, the integrated cost field in the budget table should be editable. But I have no idea since the cost field type is lookup or rollup. Is that possible?

Hi, I have been having problems with this for weeks now and cannot understand why my automation is not working. I work for a company that runs an appointment based service. I book the date it  is for and the status of it. When I put in the info, it is defaulted to "Booked". When the day AFTER the appointment comes, I want the system to find all record that match the given criteria (appointment yesterday, status booked) and update it to "Completed" I have tried a million different things but nothing is working.  Here is what my configuration is.. Someone please help me understand what I am doing wrong..

Im using the "Record Review" template for users to choose a record and then see all it's details.Each of my records has multiple date fields. I'm hoping to show these dates with a calendar element, however it seems I can only show dates for every record in the whole table or dates from linked records in other tables. Not actually just the one selected. I've tried to play around with filtering but that does not seem to get me anywhere.Is it really not possible to show one or multiple dates only for the records that has been selected?

Hey, I want to create a link inside my long text field with rich text formatting enabled by zapier. But when I write [Airtable](https://airtable.com) in Zapier I don’t see the Link as a hyperlink. I just see the text:

I have a table that I created to track resource allocation, and use that information to then report out to a graph in my interface to show based on the allocations, how much I would be expected to spend each month. The setup for this is a bit of a workaround to solve for not being able to have multiple fields reported into a chart.  This is working how i need, but it is prone for error if I do not manually link the months in the linked field. I'm trying to create an automation, or solve this in any way that doesnt require me updating both the linked field and the fields that determine if a resource is active or not. My hope is that I could create an automation that would check the Month Fields, and if a Month is set to active, it would then enter that Month into the Linked Months field - this way i could just update the allocation fields, and my report would always be insync with what months should be linked -  See Image attached.

I have a pre-filled form that is launched from a button in a record in the Assets table. When the form is submitted, the automation is triggered. A new record is created in the Updates table. Then, there's a Find Record step where a condition is entered to find the record to be updated in the Assets table. Right now, I'm using the condition Today's Date.That's fine for testing but what I really want to do is let the Find Record value be the record from the Assets table from which I launched the form in the first place using a button.How do I refer to that Rec ID?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to build monthly employee attendance with NFC tag. Basically when you "scan" nfc tag with your phone, it open up AT Form for submitting your entry or leave (start in the morning, start of the break, end of the break and end of work). In this form you can choose what type of entry or leave you're submitting. Name is preffiled (and linked to another table with personal information about Of course, when submitting the form, every entry from the form is in a new record. Is it possible to combine all four records into one (for one day)? And after that, I want to calculate duration (how long was one working and how long was on break). I tried by updating the field in another table, but I don't know how to define where (to which record) should information update (so for the specific employee and for a specific date). I'm thinking to build specific table for every employee. Can anyone help me?Thanks!

I've currently got an automation set to pull text fields from multiple records as a list into a Google doc. However, I'd like for the field names to not generate in the Google doc, just the content of the field. I'm trying to build a system where users can copy a Roll Up/Look Up field of phone numbers directly from their phone. This field often has up to 20+ phone numbers.My current solution is to set up a pre-filled form that is accessible via mobile, in which the user will be able to highlight the pre-filled text within a single line text (pre-filled with the look-up field data). From here, users will be able to copy the data. It's a bit clunky.With the introduction of Interfaces on Mobile, I was hoping to build an interface that I could simply display the Roll Up field. However, on mobile, these fields are a bit difficult to copy out. It's still easier to use the Pre-Filled Form where users can "select all" text.Ideally, there would be a button to just copy text or a better way to display the Look Up/Roll Up fields in a way that's easily selectable to be copied. If anyone has a better suggestion for me rather than using a useless form that would be amazing!
