Concept:  I have 3 columns  i  have a multi-select field of Job Types as followsAerial Display - Water / BargeAerial Display - LandClose ProximityI have a total invoice column in $ (approved spend)I have a formula column with the current formula "IF({Job Type}="Aerial Display - Water / Barge", ({ApprovedSpend}-2000)*.27, {ApprovedSpend}*.27)I have run into the issue that when the column 1 (job type) has more then just "aerial Display water/barge" selected it ignores the first, part of the formula. so I'd rather it be something along the lines of IFCONTAIN?  

Hi, I’m trying to find a way of calculating the difference between two values within the same field but in different records within the same table as per the image below. I have read many similar questions and answers but they always appear to be over complicated, although most have been from a few years ago. I am hoping therefore, Airtable might have introduce a simple way of carrying out this calculation and hope someone might be able to point me in the right direction.Just to clarify what I’m trying to achieve, I am tracking the weight (plus lots of other info) of our new puppy and want the ‘difference’ field to calculate the difference between his current weight versus his previous weight.

I have created a script to delete  a record but it is giving me an error. Hi, I have a Make scenario setup, but it is not pulling through any data to Airtable. The Make scenario is attached and is very simple; it Watches for items in Podio and then Creates Records in Airtable. I have set up the link between accounts a few times to double-check that everything is working. I've continued to run the scenario, and it comes back with no errors or warnings, but when I refresh the Airtable page, no data is being pulled through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, We are struggling to extract the first image of a column called "photos" then re-upload it in another column. We tried to do it by having a formula to extract the first attachment url (which is working) : (IF(BLANK(photos), "", MID(photos, FIND("(", photos) + 1, (FIND(")", photos) - 1) - (FIND("(", photos)))) Then, using the following automation to upload it in our target column "1st_photo" :=> WHEN a record match conditions "photos" isn't empty THEN update the column "1st_photo" using the url from the formula column as input. However, this automation isn't workingI guess the issue come from the attachment url. Do you have any idea to handle it ? Does it require a script ? Thank you very much ! 

If I have one date in a single cell, then I would use the formula DATETIME_FORMAT({}, 'MMMM) to convert that date into a month.  However, sometimes when using a Look Up I'm pulling multiple dates, separated by commas, into one cell. I'd like to find a formula that will convert all of these multiple dates into the month equivalent. So solving the 'error below'.  Any help much appreciated. Thanks. 

I am trying to build an order system with several tabs: Orders at vendor (I buy from 1 vendor) Orders from customers Customers Products An order from a customer has several products and might have more than 1 from each item. And that is where I get stuck. How can I add more than 1 of an item when there are multiple items? If it was just 1 item more times the colums would be product & amount, but that wont work. I feel like I am missing something obvious…

Dear allI'm new here to the community - so thank you for all future help & interaction!I have trouble finding a setting to the buttons in interfaces. In the airtable manual (https://support.airtable.com/docs/interface-element-button) there ist the following description: AppearanceBefore moving on to further interface configuration or publishing your interface, you may want to rename/label the button or change its color to provide more context to collaborators who are interacting within the interface you are building. You can also have the button update colors and/or label after the button has been clicked. I saw this function in the past, but can't find it consistently. Maybe I'm just don't see it or was it removed? I also can't find any thread or comment about this.Since it is a very valuable feature, I'm greatful for every hint!Kind regards, Chris

I'm using formula: SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(),'America/Los_Angeles') I want it to show the current time in LA but it keeps returning the UTC time instead. Any idea what's wrong with the formula?

Hi everyone,I am having trouble with a SEARCH() formula that isn't acting as I would expect. I have this long text in the field "FORMULE" :"1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vivre des expériences4: Pratiquer un sport"I want to search for the position of this string : "Vivre des expériences"Here is my formula : LEFT(FORMULE,FIND("Vivre des expériences",FORMULE)) And here is my result : "1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vi"-> The end string finishes by "Vi" which is one caracter to long, it should finish by "V" only... It is an example but it changes when you look for the other words, other example, when I search for "Pratiquer un sport" it gives me this result :"1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vivre des expériences4: Pra"-> It is now 2 caracters too long, it shloud finish by "P" onlyDo you have any solution about this ? I have a base that I use for onboarding new users. New records are created via a fillout form. I want to create a linked record in my Agents & Staff table, as well as my phone directory table when a new record is created in onboarding. I know how to link to an existing record, but I am stuck on creating a new record and linking.

Hello, everyone,I'm trying to create a email off of the scheduled time trigger that gives the recipients a list of the current records in a view (aka for review). The records in the view have critical documents that I need in the email, but I am running into an issue where because I have to get the records from Find Records instead of triggering off of their appearance in the view, the attachments can't be added, even if I make the fields they would be in visible in the grid.If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it as the individuals receiving these emails are not going to be active in the bases themselves.P.S. If anyone is curious, this is my current automation:Trigger: At Thursday at 11AM -> Find Records based on view (x) -> Send Email (Use grid with relevant information.) The grid contains the attachment fields relevant but always show as empty.

Hi all, I have automation setup to put notes in long text field when certain conditions met (and was proud of myself :winking_face: )…BUT when it triggers it removes and REPLACES any text that may already be there…just wanting to add additional text in that field…can that be done?

Hiya AT community, I was hoping someone would be able to shed some light on my issue, as I haven't been able to solve this one on my own!I have a script that is performing some updates to a stocktake via a script. It will find matching items and then update the value in the number field. My confusion here is that it is working for one field and not the other field, I have tried different strategies to try and get an error or figure out why, but the field ID is defs correct and the field name used instead also produces the same result. How do I update a record on a table, based on a record on another table that just got updated, it requires a record ID but the update record automation action only gives the record ID of the just updated record and not the ID of the target record

Hi and thank you for any help you can provide.I have created an automation so that when a record status is set (trigger = Pending), I get an email and Slack notification.I would like to know how to include record information in the notification. Right now, I'm just getting the message I typed in the Message field. Can I add record specifics there? I would like to see when the record was last modified, which in this case would be when it was set to Pending. I would also like to include other fields, such as the headline and writer.Thanks for your help.

Hi,I'm a relatively new Airtable admin. We have a user who can log in using SSO, but when he does he gets an error message saying that his free trial period is almost over. Since we have an enterprise account, I would think he shouldn't see that message.His account looks ok to me in the airtable admin area:(I covered over his real email address for privacy, but it looks like the rest of our users - uniqueid@dartmouth.edu.) I've tried signing him out of all sessions from the button shown, and had him log in with a different browser and a private window. None of those things helped.I opened a ticket with Airtable support, but I thought it was worth posting here as well. Hello everyone,I need to insert the current date in a filed when a second field is updated (Yes or no) in the record updated.My need is that the first field is a "Date" because it could be modified inserting a different date in the case of any modification.I can not find any solution: automation with a button is too difficult for me (script) and automation does not the job for the record updating.Please can you help me? Hi,I'm sharing a private link to a data set (can't share here as it's got user-data). Sometimes when entering the password it works fine. And then other times on an incognito browser, and for other people trying to access it it doesn't work. It comes up with this same message, see photo attached.What could be going on here? I need a fix asap so would really appreciate some help/troubleshooting.

Hello,I set up an automation to notify certain colleagues when an asset is due to expire or up for renewal. Everything looks right, but when I send a test of the notice to myself and one other person, the notification goes through, but the identified asset that is due to expire is not included with the email notification.
