Solved

I have been running Airtable for a number of years and am quite familiar with it. I have a need that is beyond my no-code low-code capabilities and I am looking to hire someone to help me develop the following idea.I have a base that has dynamic information for each day of the year on it.I have a physical public display in a high traffic location with a QR code on it.I would like local public to be able to hit that QR code with their phones and land on a mobile device compatible web page, which dynamically changes every day pulling the proper day's data into it from my airtable base.I don't have time (or really CSS, API and coding skills) to figure this out and would be very interested in developing a resource relationship with someone who can deal with the API, CSS, Java? issues in getting this web widget that is pulling data from an AirTable base.My name is Theo MayerLooking forward to meeting you (whoever you are:)

I know how to make my date show correctly using DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({EDate}, 'MM/DD/YY'))And I know how to create a new string by using this formula{EDate (from Events For Sync)}& "- "&{EID#}But what I can't figure out is how to make the first formula work with the second formula into one formula that works.I've tried different ways but nothing seems to work and I am stumpedThis may seem easy for some - but I am frustrated that the date field when you have it set for one way doesn't carry the content over when used in a formula.  But whatever.

Just need help determining the correct selector and attribute on the Linkedin applicant html page.I first tried Text Content by CSS Selector using the id which worked flawlessly until I realized that the id isn't static. It changes every time I open a different candidate. Now I want to try using the HTML Attribute by CSS Selector but I need help determining which HTML to use. The code is attached.Thank you so much in advance for any help you can provide.

I'm having an issue adding a "new product" under the Emails list. So I went into the "products list" to add one in. I returned back to the "Emails list" and it's not there. I can only change the names of the product under "products list" only. How do I add a "new product" to the Emails list, especially when it won't show up when I add it to the products list? Also, I tried changing the name when I was under the Emails list and it wouldn't let me.

Im trying to filter the next api request: https://api.airtable.com/v0/appn8Dg5iLM042oZh/tblDamHA046rqdTJF?fields%5B%5D=client_address_(from_deal_id)&fields%5B%5D=client_name_(from_deal_id)&filterByFormula=assignee%3D+9650 but instead of the assignee being 9650 i need to filter it by names like "Nick Smith", how could i do it?The error i get when i try to put a string instead of a number like:https://api.airtable.com/v0/appn8Dg5iLM042oZh/tblDamHA046rqdTJF?fields%5B%5D=client_address_(from_deal_id)&fields%5B%5D=client_name_(from_deal_id)&filterByFormula=assignee%3D+samantha is: "error": {        "type": "INVALID_FILTER_BY_FORMULA",        "message": "The formula for filtering records is invalid: Unknown field names: samantha"    }

I need to add up the total days of sick leave, as well as the total vacation leave. This way I can track if they have reached the maximum # of leaves. Can someone assist me?

Hi, I've put together a few Interface pages that I'm very happy with. Dashboard pages allow you to add various elements together in the same page, but for any other page type this option disappears.Is it possible to add an element to, for instance, a List page?My use case is to add critical information/instructions at the top of the page, or a button to submit feedback specifically on that page. I would simply put my List in a Dashboard page, however doing that removes the ability to use filter tabs, which I need. (Yes, I'm aware of the ability to filter lists in a different way in the Dashboard, but I specifically need the tabs, and the option to "Collapse all by default"...neither of which are available in the List element in Dashboard pages.)

I want to get the creation date of my records and I can't figure out what the variable is.Is there way I can get it, like I can get the record ID (record.getId()). I have tried record.getDate(), record.createdDate()). Here is what I have:return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {base('Resource').select({sort: [{ field: 'Type', direction: 'asc' }],filterByFormula: 'AND({Type} = "'+type+'")'}).eachPage(function page(records, fetchNextPage) {records.forEach(function(record) {console.log(record.getId());console.log(record.getDate());});fetchNextPage();}, function done(err) {if (err) {reject("Promise Rejected");} else {resolve(tldList);}});});

Hello everyone,Always with the ultimate goal of creating the perfect automated ToDo List,I have a script I was able to write that copies tasks from one table, pastes them into another table. The script copies the important information (task name, task categories, who's responsible and when it needs to be done). My script then links the task to the event in the ToDo Lists.But it's impossible to copy the dependencies between my tasks (link to another record) directly into the script. In any case, I was unable to do so and no one replied to my previous post. I got around the problem by asking the script to copy the dependency links from my main table into a text column in my ToDo Lists table.So I created a second automation to "Update record" the new records created by my script, to copy the text from the text column to the parent Task column, which is a link column to other records.As I said, I have about ten child tasks linked to its parent task (13 parent tasks) and I guess that's what

Hi everyone,I have a start and end date field in one of my tables and I am trying to find a way to get airtable to tag each month within the range. Essentially I want to know how many were active between 8/30/2019 and 7/31/2020. I haven't been able to figure out the filters because if a record was 7/30/2019-9/1/2020, it wouldn't show up. My workaround is getting the months range and then I can use that multiple select field to do the filtering.Any suggestions?Thank you in advance

Hi all--We have a form that staff use to pitch a new idea or project for our organization. We want to connect their name and email (as submitted in the form) to a preexisting linked record with their details.  Sometimes, staff will fill in multiple names and emails at once, separated by commas. This would look something like this:[PROJECT LIST TABLE][Project Name Field]: Special Event[Name Field] : John Doe, Jane Doe[Email Field]: johndoe@org.com, janedoe@org.com [Project Details Field]: A special event that we will be working together to create for the organization.I would like to have an automation or script pull apart the comma-separated values, search for each one in the linked Staff table, and if the name or email exists in the linked table, add that name/email's linked record to a separate [Project Staff] field in the Project List table. Theoretically, it's simple! But it's been about a decade since I've done any scripting, and if lack of practice makes one "rusty," I'm

So I'm tracking vehicles in my base(s), and I typically use a formula for my primary field for ease of search for my coworkers:  CONCATENATE("Branch #"," ",Location," ",Year," ",Make," ",Model," ",VIN) Ends up yielding something like Branch #123 2022 Ford F-150 1FTCR15X0TTA01050 This works really well for us, because we use that primary field in a wide variety of forms and other linked bases, so if someone doesn't know their vin, they can search by branch and narrow it down, etc. What I'm trying to get my head around is how to (if possible) reference a single selects selection in an IF statement re: that primary field?  An order to request a new vehicle adds a new line to the base, and as we process the order at that point we add in make, year, model, etc.  Until we do that the concatenate formula just returns "Branch #123" because the other fields are blank so its hard for folks to track their orders and see any inf

My base is a table copied from and synced to another source base. Is there a way to break the sync with the source base but still retain the data so that I may edit the table?

Hi there, I am so ashamed to ask this but I could not figure this one out by myself. I have 2 simple text values and an autonumber. I would like to create a formula where i can have these information but not completely. Ex:  1st vlaue is JOHN Second value is DOE and autonumber 333I would like to have  the result 33JODO Thank you for your help.

Hi,I'm terrible at the formula stuff, but basically I have a Publish Date in my Airtable view for when a piece of content should be published. I want to add the Day of Week as well so we can clear see which post is which day, as well as the actual date (as some gets scheduled a bit further in advance)The formula I'm using to display the day is:  DATETIME_FORMAT({Publish Date},'dddd')All I need to do is display nothing if there is no publish date set

I have a column with the title 'Country', and I am trying to add a new formula column which identifies the Country and creates an entry for the Region automatically. I can get the first IF function to select one region, but when I try to add the second, it fails. Here is what I have for 3 (of the shorter regions) of the 8:IF(REGEX_MATCH({Country}&"", "Belize|Costa Rica|El Salvador|Guatemala|Honduras|Nicaragua|Panama"),"Central America")IF(REGEX_MATCH({Country}&"", "Canada|Greenland|Mexico|Saint Pierre and Miquelon|United States"),"North America")IF(REGEX_MATCH({Country}&"", "Argentina|Bolivia|Brazil|Chile|Colombia|Ecuador|Falkland Islands|French Guiana|Guyana|Paraguay|Peru|Suriname|Uruguay|Venezuela"),"South America")Thank you.

Hi everyone,I have an automation here that works perfectly fine when I add a new dataset into my grid view. Once I switch to a form to add a new dataset the automation doesn't work properly. The automation I duplicated starts but the value is wrong. With a single automation nothing at all happens.Not sure what it is. Maybe the trigger "when record is updated" vs "when record is created". I duplicated everything tried to keep everything the same, which is not really possible. There are some minor differences.Here is what I have:Trigger (when record is updated)Action (update record)  Here is the other automation the creates a wrong value:Trigger (when a record is created)Action (update record)

Hello! I am working with a formula that is computing a rate for each area that is being updated from a submissions tab; however, not every area has data yet, so Airtable assumes 0. This means that in the future records we get the output NaN as we are dividing by 0 at the moment. Is there a function or if statement that can be used to detect if there’s and NaN output, and if so, set it to 0? Thank you!

Is there a way to update manually a "Last modified by" or "Last modified time" field?We use a field to check who was the last person to update an ID field. But we sometime have to bulk update these fields for cleaning or managing the database and the "last modified by" is now entirely set to the creator/admin who made the update.- Is there a way to update manually these fields?- Is there an existing extension for this? or a script ?- Maybe there is a way to "impersonate" a user in order to set the needed values to those fields? (I tried this with the interface functionnality to see interface as another user, it did not work)Thank you very much !

I have a warning that my file is over the limit of 1,000 records per base, but it only has 531 records.The warning says it has 1145 records. There is no filter applied, it only has 531 records!Nothing else is over the limit.

Hello! I'm slowly learning how to use date formulas, but I have hit a wall in my ability to troubleshoot.I have two date formulas causing me trouble.1) My Rush Due Date is displaying #ERROR! when "Rush" checkbox is not checked.DATETIME_FORMAT(IF(Rush, WORKDAY(Created, 4, '2023-11-11, 2023-12-25, 2024-01-01, 2024-02-19, 2024-03-29, 2024-05-20'), ""), 'LL')2) My "Time Since Ready for Pickup" formula is displaying NaN when a row is not yet "Ready for Pickup"IF(Completed, "Completed", DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Ready for Pickup Timestamp}, 'days'))Are there any heros out there who can help me out?Thank you so much in advance!Devon

Hi everyone, I searched through the community posts but could not find anything.Using a formula I created custom URL for every person in our company that will allow prefills in a form.CONCATENATE('https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',Name)for example 'https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',John Doe)Problem is that there are now blanks and therefore only the first part of link is recognised as such. I know that I can use %20 is used in the final URL. But this does not make the URL in my dataset clickableAnyone an idea what I would need to do? Thanks for your help

On table A, I've added a linked record field to table B. On table A, I can add lookup fields from the linked record on table B.But on table B, I cannot add lookup fields:> No available sources to look up. Add a lookup source, then try to configure your lookup again.I created a new linked record field with the same configuration on table A and the lookup works both way. Is there a way to fix my original field to work both way too?
