I've come across a strange issue.Using MAKE (aka Integromat) I'm using an Airtable Search Records module with the following formula:AND(Lower({Email (from Members)}) = "{{lower(2.`recipient email`)}}", {Order Number} = "{{51.`$1`}}")It accepts it but does not return the required record. The Order Number is a number field, and I've tried the formula with and without the "I've done with this similar tables and records but for some reason this one is not working and I cannot fathom out why.Any ideas?

Hi community.I have a single-select field called Sector in a table called Projects. I'm trying to cast this field to a string.The reason I'm trying to do this is that I'm trying to build an automation, in which I will need a conditional step that will check this stringified single-select field to a multi-select field in another table to see if the multi-select field contains the the selected value in the single-select field.Thus far, I've created a formula field in Projects with various formulas (or formulae, for the sticklers out there), including:- ARRAYJOIN(Sector)-Sector-LEFT(Sector)No matter what, when I go to the automation it won't let me choose the field because AT says "Cannot assign list of string to a string".Please help!!!Thank you!

I've been building interfaces that have "add record" buttons in them, and because of that I've realized that I've miscategorized some primary record fields for what a record is called when I first created a table. For a table that is based on personnel records I somehow selected "company" from the dropdown list when I first made the table and now in the interface for a personnel record I have a button that displays "Add Company". Ideally I could change the "What should each record be called?" option in each table, but I'm not seeing any way to do this once the table is created and the initial selection is made. Alternatively, I would love to be able change it to "Add Person" as one of the options in the interface designer, but doesn't appear that's an option either.Does anyone know a way to do this either in the interface designer or after a table has been created?

I'm getting the error 'Field "Student" cannot accept the provided value: Cannot modify a computed field.'. The field "Student" ISN'T a computed field, though; it's a linked record field.What confuses me the most is that when I tested this automation it worked flawlessly, both in 'generate a preview' and 'run as configured' tests. It's only in live runs that it fails. Does anybody have any clues as to what's going on?

This is not an automation script, but the script from a scripting extention. This is because fetch() function behaves differently and only passes authentication data when used in scripting extention. I can run the script pressing a field button in a grid layout.Data grid:Now I need to provide the user with an interface button that would finally resulted with logged in state. But this seems not as easy as it can be imagined. It is not possible to directly call a script with a button action as it is only capable of running an automation script, not scripting extention.Interface:However, using an interface button I can change the state of a checkbox field of the same record where the field button is, but I do not get the idea how to bind these two so when I tick a checkbox the filed button would be pressed. Hi,I have a multiselect field containing topics. It is a linked field to another table and each topic might contain a comma within its value. I have 5 non-value fields that indicate if a person has paid an application fee or not. The fields are: 180 GBP, 210 GBP, 240 GBP, 270 GBP, and 300 GBP. If a person has paid, it will say "Completed" under the column that they have paid. It will say "Not Started" if they have not paid. For example: If person A has paid the fee of 240 GBP, it will say "Completed" under that column, and it will say "Not completed" under all of the other monetary columns. (it was not my idea to organise it this way, it is just the way it has to be!)I would like to add a formula field called "Paid" that can identify if a person has paid (Yes or No) based on the statuses of the 5 monetary value columns. I want it to recognize that if 1 of the columns in a row is "completed" that the "Paid" value will be "Yes."Does anyone know if this is possible? Please see photo attached for an example of how the fields are laid out, and a sample "paid" field. 

Greetings, I have a zip code field that's either 5 digits or 9 digits. I need a formula to display the zip code as either 12345 or 12345-6789 depending on the content of the field. I know How to write the beginning of the formula, I do not know how to write the if 9 part.  I have IF({Zip Code} <6,{Zip Code}, Need to describe the 9 digit code with a dash.)Anyone have a thought on this? I am using a number field for the zip code. Is this the correct field to use?Thanks, Scott

Hi All, I'm trying to use a linked record to pull up the TRT of an asset that's listed out as a full timecode, extract just the hours and minutes and put that into a duration field. I've gotten so far as to pull the hours and minutes but when I set the automation to fill the duration, because it's not reading the text as seconds, it's coming in with the wrong duration. I haven't been able to get datetime_parse to convert the text to time. I can sense there's an easier way to do this that I'm just not landing on but nothing I've tried has worked.

I know how to make my date show correctly using DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({EDate}, 'MM/DD/YY'))And I know how to create a new string by using this formula{EDate (from Events For Sync)}& "- "&{EID#}But what I can't figure out is how to make the first formula work with the second formula into one formula that works.I've tried different ways but nothing seems to work and I am stumpedThis may seem easy for some - but I am frustrated that the date field when you have it set for one way doesn't carry the content over when used in a formula.  But whatever.

Just need help determining the correct selector and attribute on the Linkedin applicant html page.I first tried Text Content by CSS Selector using the id which worked flawlessly until I realized that the id isn't static. It changes every time I open a different candidate. I'm having an issue adding a "new product" under the Emails list. So I went into the "products list" to add one in. I returned back to the "Emails list" and it's not there. I can only change the names of the product under "products list" only. How do I add a "new product" to the Emails list, especially when it won't show up when I add it to the products list? Also, I tried changing the name when I was under the Emails list and it wouldn't let me.

I need to add up the total days of sick leave, as well as the total vacation leave. This way I can track if they have reached the maximum # of leaves. Can someone assist me?

Hi, I've put together a few Interface pages that I'm very happy with. Dashboard pages allow you to add various elements together in the same page, but for any other page type this option disappears.Is it possible to add an element to, for instance, a List page?My use case is to add critical information/instructions at the top of the page, or a button to submit feedback specifically on that page. I would simply put my List in a Dashboard page, however doing that removes the ability to use filter tabs, which I need. (Yes, I'm aware of the ability to filter lists in a different way in the Dashboard, but I specifically need the tabs, and the option to "Collapse all by default"...neither of which are available in the List element in Dashboard pages.)

I want to get the creation date of my records and I can't figure out what the variable is.Is there way I can get it, like I can get the record ID (record.getId()). Hello everyone,Always with the ultimate goal of creating the perfect automated ToDo List,I have a script I was able to write that copies tasks from one table, pastes them into another table. The script copies the important information (task name, task categories, who's responsible and when it needs to be done). My script then links the task to the event in the ToDo Lists.But it's impossible to copy the dependencies between my tasks (link to another record) directly into the script. In any case, I was unable to do so and no one replied to my previous post. I got around the problem by asking the script to copy the dependency links from my main table into a text column in my ToDo Lists table.So I created a second automation to "Update record" the new records created by my script, to copy the text from the text column to the parent Task column, which is a link column to other records.As I said, I have about ten child tasks linked to its parent task (13 parent tasks) and I guess that's what

Hi everyone,I have a start and end date field in one of my tables and I am trying to find a way to get airtable to tag each month within the range. Essentially I want to know how many were active between 8/30/2019 and 7/31/2020. I haven't been able to figure out the filters because if a record was 7/30/2019-9/1/2020, it wouldn't show up. My workaround is getting the months range and then I can use that multiple select field to do the filtering.Any suggestions?Thank you in advance

Hi all--We have a form that staff use to pitch a new idea or project for our organization. We want to connect their name and email (as submitted in the form) to a preexisting linked record with their details.  Sometimes, staff will fill in multiple names and emails at once, separated by commas. This would look something like this:[PROJECT LIST TABLE][Project Name Field]: Special Event[Name Field] : John Doe, Jane Doe[Email Field]: johndoe@org.com, janedoe@org.com [Project Details Field]: A special event that we will be working together to create for the organization.I would like to have an automation or script pull apart the comma-separated values, search for each one in the linked Staff table, and if the name or email exists in the linked table, add that name/email's linked record to a separate [Project Staff] field in the Project List table. So I'm tracking vehicles in my base(s), and I typically use a formula for my primary field for ease of search for my coworkers:  CONCATENATE("Branch #"," ",Location," ",Year," ",Make," ",Model," ",VIN) Ends up yielding something like Branch #123 2022 Ford F-150 1FTCR15X0TTA01050 This works really well for us, because we use that primary field in a wide variety of forms and other linked bases, so if someone doesn't know their vin, they can search by branch and narrow it down, etc. What I'm trying to get my head around is how to (if possible) reference a single selects selection in an IF statement re: that primary field?  An order to request a new vehicle adds a new line to the base, and as we process the order at that point we add in make, year, model, etc.  Until we do that the concatenate formula just returns "Branch #123" because the other fields are blank so its hard for folks to track their orders and see any inf

My base is a table copied from and synced to another source base. Is there a way to break the sync with the source base but still retain the data so that I may edit the table?

Hi,I'm terrible at the formula stuff, but basically I have a Publish Date in my Airtable view for when a piece of content should be published.
