It seems the more I learn here the more ideas I come up with that I need help with.I have a membership payment table. There are 6 levels of membership.Individual  $25.00Family  $45.00Patron  $60.00Sustaining  $100.00Benefactor $250.00Sponsor  $1,000.00I would like to write a formula in the membership level field that fills in the membership level in the membership level field using the amount entered in the amount of the membership payment field. There are 6 membership levels as above. So if they pay $35, then it would put in as an Individual membership, etc. The $10 difference would but put in a field of the donations table as a donation. I will start that formula when I get this working.This is what I came up with but it has an error. Hello, I'm trying to find a function that will pull all of the long text; rich field checked boxes away from any unchecked boxes. I've found the solution linked below and it worked great for the opposite problem. Does anyone have a formula to solve pulling only checked boxes? https://community.airtable.com/t5/automations/extract-filter-unchecked-items-from-a-rich-text-field/td-p/27036Subtasks are all our tasks. Does Airtable have a simple search feature similar to the "Find" in Excel? Suppose a user is updating random fields in a 10,000 record mailing list. They need to quickly find a specific record based on varying criteria such as an unusual last name, phone number, address, whatever information might be available to find the record. In Excel this type of task is a no-brainer, what is Airtable's (hopefully) equivalent search functionality? I've seen the filter feature, that would be extremely tedious for random searches of this type. I'm new to Airtable, maybe the feature I need is right in front of me and I overlooked it. Thanks

I have a database where I have a check box that’ll indicate that a material has arrived. Im trying to have a formular to automatically record the date the check box was checked. Sofar I’ve tried with the following. IF({Trim arrived}=1,TODAY(), BLANK()) The problem that the date follows todays date and dosen’t stay at the date the the check box was clicked. Is there a way record the date it was checked in in the formular field

I’m calling an Apps Script which works as intended in the browser. However when using automation I get the error. I have read that this is to do with google redirecting the url. I don’t need to receive anything back from the script as everything is handled there. Are there any other ways around this? I could put it in a button but then it wouldn’t be automated. Also if possible I would like to avoid using another intermediary service.

I obviously am not constructing my syntax correctly. I want to say that if {Last Renewal} is not blank, then do the following. as I said it works if take out the first {Last Renewal}. Hello! This filter does not take into account the time part when applied in URL: filterGreaterOrEqual_Date=2023-10-17T22%3A00%3A00.000ZExcept for when I set it at 22:00 where it filters OUT all records with date October 17, 2023 and "allows" them back in when I set it to 21:59.Other settings such as 06:00:00.000Z or 18:00:00.000Z show every record of October 17. Dates on my table are:17 October 2023 00:00 UTC17 October 2023 00:00 UTC17 October 2023 10:00 UTC17 October 2023 10:30 UTC17 October 2023 22:30 UTCIf I remove the time altogether it catches Dates very well: filterGreaterOrEqual_Date=2023-10-17 works fine. Any Ideas please? 

I am trying to auto-number a group of records for one person in a table with multiple people listed with numbers 1,2,3, etc.. In Excel, I would use a formula to add one number to the above cell, and it would number all rows sequentially. I usually manually number each record, but I am hoping a simple formula would number the list.Here is a screenshot of my table consisting of the records I need based on a filter.  The row with # in the title is where I would put the formula.  Any suggestions? 

I have to get approval for all software on an annual basis. The software request form now requires the name and phone number of a support person from Airtable before I can renew for next year. There are no exceptions to this rule. Does anyone have a name and phone number I can put down for this?I will never actually call this person. I just need something to enter on the form. I know the official answer is that Airtable doesn't provide phone support, but I will have to use a different product if I can't find real contact info for an Airtable support person.  

I'm trying to write a formula to check whether a lookup field contains a specific value.These lookup fields might contain one or multiple values, e.g.applesapples, pearspears, bananas, strawberriesI've been using the formula IF(FIND("apples", {fruitName}), "yes", "no") In this case, I would expect 1 and 2 to return as "yes", but only 1 is returning yes. Find seems to require an exact match, and if there are other values in the lookup field, it returns false. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

I have searched for how to do this, but it seems unclear. There is no way to group by year, specifically. You can only select past year, next year, specific number of days, etc. So how do you group items by year?

Hello,Is it possible to combine multiples of identical x-axis values in the interface chart?I have multiples of identical x-axis values and I want to combine those values into 1 bar.I could make a special summary table with a roll-up but then the person using the interface would not be able to filter the records the way they want, so I need the chart to show all the records and be connected to the accessible filter element in the interface.

Good morning.I use Airtable to inventory my craft supplies.I have built a new workspace, exactly like my first one. I am trying to move individual records from the first base to the second base.I am not techy (read senior citizen) and need the simplest solution. To build buttons or automations or any of the other wonderful things mentioned is beyond my ken. Of course, if this is the only way for it to be done, I will need very simple instructions. I did try to copy and paste, and it didn't work. It only moved one cell.TIA

I've come across a strange issue.Using MAKE (aka Integromat) I'm using an Airtable Search Records module with the following formula:AND(Lower({Email (from Members)}) = "{{lower(2.`recipient email`)}}", {Order Number} = "{{51.`$1`}}")It accepts it but does not return the required record. The Order Number is a number field, and I've tried the formula with and without the "I've done with this similar tables and records but for some reason this one is not working and I cannot fathom out why.Any ideas?

Hi community.I have a single-select field called Sector in a table called Projects. I'm trying to cast this field to a string.The reason I'm trying to do this is that I'm trying to build an automation, in which I will need a conditional step that will check this stringified single-select field to a multi-select field in another table to see if the multi-select field contains the the selected value in the single-select field.Thus far, I've created a formula field in Projects with various formulas (or formulae, for the sticklers out there), including:- ARRAYJOIN(Sector)-Sector-LEFT(Sector)No matter what, when I go to the automation it won't let me choose the field because AT says "Cannot assign list of string to a string".Please help!!!Thank you!

I've been building interfaces that have "add record" buttons in them, and because of that I've realized that I've miscategorized some primary record fields for what a record is called when I first created a table. For a table that is based on personnel records I somehow selected "company" from the dropdown list when I first made the table and now in the interface for a personnel record I have a button that displays "Add Company". Ideally I could change the "What should each record be called?" option in each table, but I'm not seeing any way to do this once the table is created and the initial selection is made. Alternatively, I would love to be able change it to "Add Person" as one of the options in the interface designer, but doesn't appear that's an option either.Does anyone know a way to do this either in the interface designer or after a table has been created?

I'm getting the error 'Field "Student" cannot accept the provided value: Cannot modify a computed field.'. The field "Student" ISN'T a computed field, though; it's a linked record field.What confuses me the most is that when I tested this automation it worked flawlessly, both in 'generate a preview' and 'run as configured' tests. It's only in live runs that it fails. Does anybody have any clues as to what's going on?

This is not an automation script, but the script from a scripting extention. This is because fetch() function behaves differently and only passes authentication data when used in scripting extention. I can run the script pressing a field button in a grid layout.Data grid:Now I need to provide the user with an interface button that would finally resulted with logged in state. But this seems not as easy as it can be imagined. It is not possible to directly call a script with a button action as it is only capable of running an automation script, not scripting extention.Interface:However, using an interface button I can change the state of a checkbox field of the same record where the field button is, but I do not get the idea how to bind these two so when I tick a checkbox the filed button would be pressed. I have 5 non-value fields that indicate if a person has paid an application fee or not. The fields are: 180 GBP, 210 GBP, 240 GBP, 270 GBP, and 300 GBP. If a person has paid, it will say "Completed" under the column that they have paid. It will say "Not Started" if they have not paid. For example: If person A has paid the fee of 240 GBP, it will say "Completed" under that column, and it will say "Not completed" under all of the other monetary columns. (it was not my idea to organise it this way, it is just the way it has to be!)I would like to add a formula field called "Paid" that can identify if a person has paid (Yes or No) based on the statuses of the 5 monetary value columns. I want it to recognize that if 1 of the columns in a row is "completed" that the "Paid" value will be "Yes."Does anyone know if this is possible? Please see photo attached for an example of how the fields are laid out, and a sample "paid" field. 

Greetings, I have a zip code field that's either 5 digits or 9 digits. I need a formula to display the zip code as either 12345 or 12345-6789 depending on the content of the field. I know How to write the beginning of the formula, I do not know how to write the if 9 part.  I have IF({Zip Code} <6,{Zip Code}, Need to describe the 9 digit code with a dash.)Anyone have a thought on this? I am using a number field for the zip code. Is this the correct field to use?Thanks, Scott
