I have a column with the title 'Country', and I am trying to add a new formula column which identifies the Country and creates an entry for the Region automatically. I can get the first IF function to select one region, but when I try to add the second, it fails. Hi everyone,I have an automation here that works perfectly fine when I add a new dataset into my grid view. Once I switch to a form to add a new dataset the automation doesn't work properly. The automation I duplicated starts but the value is wrong. With a single automation nothing at all happens.Not sure what it is. Maybe the trigger "when record is updated" vs "when record is created". I duplicated everything tried to keep everything the same, which is not really possible. Hello! I am working with a formula that is computing a rate for each area that is being updated from a submissions tab; however, not every area has data yet, so Airtable assumes 0. This means that in the future records we get the output NaN as we are dividing by 0 at the moment. Is there a function or if statement that can be used to detect if there’s and NaN output, and if so, set it to 0? Thank you!

Is there a way to update manually a "Last modified by" or "Last modified time" field?We use a field to check who was the last person to update an ID field. But we sometime have to bulk update these fields for cleaning or managing the database and the "last modified by" is now entirely set to the creator/admin who made the update.- Is there a way to update manually these fields?- Is there an existing extension for this? or a script ?- Maybe there is a way to "impersonate" a user in order to set the needed values to those fields? (I tried this with the interface functionnality to see interface as another user, it did not work)Thank you very much !

Hi community,I have two table, the first one is a database synchronised with many other, fulfilled directly by stores themself and it is creating a product list. The second table is contact information about the stores.I would like to link phone, number and adress regarding the store concerned.In my screenshots, green circled data are synchronised, and the red circled one are thoose I want to import from the table "ENTREPRISE INFOS".So in "BDD ARTICLE" table, if Sync Source is "Magasin 1", I want to display information regarding "Magasin 1" in my "ENTREPRISE INFOS" table.I didn't find any way to do it, thanks a lot for your help 🙂

I have a warning that my file is over the limit of 1,000 records per base, but it only has 531 records.The warning says it has 1145 records. There is no filter applied, it only has 531 records!Nothing else is over the limit.

Hi everyone, I searched through the community posts but could not find anything.Using a formula I created custom URL for every person in our company that will allow prefills in a form.CONCATENATE('https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',Name)for example 'https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',John Doe)Problem is that there are now blanks and therefore only the first part of link is recognised as such. I know that I can use %20 is used in the final URL. But this does not make the URL in my dataset clickableAnyone an idea what I would need to do? Thanks for your help

On table A, I've added a linked record field to table B. On table A, I can add lookup fields from the linked record on table B.But on table B, I cannot add lookup fields:> No available sources to look up. Add a lookup source, then try to configure your lookup again.I created a new linked record field with the same configuration on table A and the lookup works both way. Is there a way to fix my original field to work both way too? 

Hello, I'm really enjoying building for the first time in Airtable but need some help creating a script (if that's the best approach).I have a form where users will put in 3 comma separated words to describe the Niche they work in.I want to turn this column into tags, so that I can group records by common Niche.My understanding is that I need to write a script to go inside an automation that fires when that field is not empty on a new record (when the form is filled in). And takes the text, parses it based on the commas and then adds it to my Tags column which is a multi-select field.I've tried using claude.ai and chatgpt to write the script portion but they're failing! Hi (newbie here),Can you do a rollup on a Lookup field in a different grid?I have a table of employees.  There is a table of Trips where we look up the employees from the employee table.  Then I have a Departures Table that pulls in the Employee information from the Trips table. Now I would like to do a count(rollup) of the number of departures each employee has.I am having problems figure out how do this.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,My sister operates a bakery from her home, and I want to make things easier for her by creating a system in Airtable where she can take orders for her products.As a bonus I'd like to be able to track repeat orders from customers as a way to determine customer preferences, habits, trends, etc.There are a few problems I'm finding with this. Airtable has no way for customers to "make an account" so to speak. I'm inclined to create a table for customers, but...Customers would need to complete a separate form if they're a new customer, then come back to the order form, which feels cumbersome.For each customer that already exists in the base, Airtable will reveal all of the names in the customer table whenever a returning customer begins to search for their name, which just doesn't sit right.We could simply request name and phone number each time, but I'm not sure if that will allow me to combine those records based on phone number in order to be able to assess trends based on those or

Hi All,I have an automation issue coming from a formula field.The lookup field is coming from Tasks table, and the regions are repetitive, so i created a formula to make it as a text and im hoping the automation will take the Regions Text to a normal editable field 'TASKS - Regions', but it updates it with a blank value in the end (the blue circle in the end). Hi there, I’m a long term user of Trello and new to Airtable. Trello had a feature where you could forward emails to your board. I would have a to-do list board and whenever I got a request emailed to me I could just forward it to the board and it would create a to-do item for me. Does this function exist within Airtable? I am trying to incorporate a formula column which looks for entries which may include swear words, but I cant seem to get this formula to work. Here is a snippet (I've taken out a lot of the middle which is just 3230 different swear words) but the beginning and end are there. Hi Community,I'm trying to purchase a Teams account but I am part of an entity that is not allowed to pay taxes. The form I'm sent to has a space for a credit card and says I'll be charged "applicable taxes". I'm not actually sure what happens when I hit 'submit' after entering a credit card, is it charged then or is there some other page I get sent to? I expect the former.Is there a way to pay for Airtable without paying taxes?

In my "CRM" database, I am building out a reporting table that gets rollups of IDs from other tables (i.e. interactions, etc) and am trying to get one array of IDs that I can count to determine the number of unique IDsInteractions TableOne to Many Contacts, lookup field of Contact Record IDs from "Contacts" TableProjects TableOne to Many Contacts, Lookup Field of Contact Record IDs from "Contacts" TableReports TableRollup of Contact IDs from Projects, Rollup of Contact IDs from InteractionsMy formula below doesn't get all the IDs. I don't know if maybe there's some nesting going on. In my all of my Interfaces  now when I try to add a new linked record, I would click on "Create a new record" and enter the info and click Create button at the bottom BUT instead of showing the Create button it shows Field Deleted?? This is not my field, it is an Airtable button? All my permissions seem correct etc. Also in some of my other interfaces the same  Linked record does not even show "Create a new record" , even though it should be allowing  it. Please help! It does seem to relate to the same table of Contacts where other linked records to other tables do not seem to have the issue.  Also I tried this in 2 different browsers, same issue. I have an automation set up and the test is sucessful, when its running I can see in the logs that emails are sent as expected but we are not receiving any of the emails.I saw another post which referenced some bounced emails and AirTable blovking their domain as a result, this was removed and the problem was solved. Another said maybe account had not been verified, I can't see this as the issue from following the instructions too.Checked Junk, Spam etc. but no luck, happening for me and all users who are shown as being sent emails on the logs.Any help would be appreciated, as appears I can't speak to support, which is odd!

Hello -- we have a base with about 5000 restaurants listed in it, and our editorial team needs the ability to easily put together ad-hoc lists of selections from that set.  They might start by filtering for all the records in a particular city (Chicago), but then need the ability to manually remove records from that basic set.  What's the best way to go about doing this in AT?  In FileMaker Pro (where we're migrating from), you could do a Find and then simply manually Omit records from that found set.  Is there a similar way to do this in AT?  Or would we need to do something like create a new field, and then add a value to that field for all the records we want to manually group?Thanks very much - loving AT so far!
