Hi Everyone,I have two automations that I need to combine into one. Is there anyway to merge the two or move pieces from one to the other without having to rebuild the content? I would have set it up as one automation to start with, but I was new at this and didn't see how to do so at the time. We're bumping up against automation limits, so it's important to combine them.Since they both trigger the sending of emails with a lot of inserted fields, it's a hassle to do it manually as even if I copy and paste, I have to manually re-insert the custom fields.  I tried searching but only got results related to automations that merge records, not anything about merging the automations themselves. Thanks for any insights you can provide! Regards,Anne

I cannot decide if I'm better off with an automation or else I'm just not meant to do if else formulas. I need to first check if a date field is not blank. If it is not blank, then I want to compare it with another date field. If it's later than other date field I want to show 'launch date moved out'. I know this formula is not comparing but it's what I ended up with (and it's not working)IF({Original Launch Date} & "-"THEN {Launch Date}>{Original Launch Date},'Launch Delayed')

Hi,I am trying to create an automation where:If "Adviser 1 ranking" column has been updated as "Outstanding", then the "Adviser 1 rating" column will automatically have 5 stars appearing. Same goes to any update on "Adviser 2 Ranking" will update the "Adviser 2 rating", "Adviser 3 Ranking" with "Adviser 3 rating". In all 3 single select Adviser ranking fields, I have "Outstanding" (i.e. 5 stars), "Very good" (i.e., 4), "Good" (i.e.,3), "Poor" (i.e.,2), "Try Again" (i.e.,1).Could anyone please help out?Thanks! 🙂

Context:I've encountered an issue in Airtable where an automation I've set up to group records in one table within a linked field of another table works correctly for records with unique primary field values (the leftmost field). However, for records with the same primary field value, it only groups and links the most recent record while unlinking the preexisting records with the same value. This poses a problem for what I'm trying to achieve.Goal:My goal is for the automation to link all records in one table to the field in other table, as long as they meet the conditions of my automation, regardless of whether or not their primary field value is the same.Path:Triggers:- When an updated cell is detected in Table 1, the following actions occur:Action 1:- It creates a new record in Table 2.- This record contains two fields:- One for the updated cell's value (placed as the primary field on the left).- Another field with the record name of the updated cell in Table 1.Action 2 (Condition 1

Is it possible to limit the number of records syncing from one table to another?For example "Table A" has 15000 records and I want records 1-100 to populate "Table B", 100-200 in "Table C" etc.

Has anyone found a solution to have a junction table automatically updated, when new records are created or existing ones deleted? I love the Junction App that is supported by Airtable, but need a solution that triggers it to run. And from what I understand there’s no way to run an app through an automation. So I tried to take the script used in the App and use it in an automation, but can’t get it to work. I’d even hire a programmer to do this, but when I tried to find someone on Fiverr they knew less than I did about scripting … LOL.

I'm new to my company and there are a lot of existing bases set up that I have access to where I can use the Gantt chart feature and other features on the Team Plan. When I go to make my own base, mine are on the free plan. I'm a paid user, so is the team plan based on the workspace? I'm confused why I'm paying for Airtable but have limitations with my bases that other ones do not have.If I do need to be granted access to the workspace on the team plan, is there a way to not have all bases visible to me, just the ones I've been invited to?

Hello below is a table of scores and the corresponding status. I also have a risk register for each risk I want to be able to select the probability (1-5) and the Imapct (1-5) and it automatically returns the status as defined by the table below. Is it possible? For context, I am building an email automation that is sent every work day (Monday-Friday). The email would display any of the task records that are due on that particular day that the email is sent out. My problem is that Airtable's scheduling timing trigger is limited to posting every single day. I would not like to send out an email on the weekend.I cannot use "When a record is updated" as a trigger as it would send an email for every single task record that is due today, whereas I am trying to send only one email a day. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Hi,I am trying to create a simple IF Statement to produce the result PASS or FAIL if the value in another column is >= 80%:  In Column 1 ('% germination rate on second check') are % figures with values ranging from 0% to 100%. The purpose of the Column 2 ('PASS/FAIL'), is to produce the word 'PASS' if the value of Column 1 is >= 80%, or 'FAIL' if otherwise. Currently all cells in Column 2 are showing 'FAIL', irrespective of the % figure showing in Column 1. Is this some kind of syntax or formatting error on my end? Here is my formula: IF({% germination rate on second check} >= 80, "PASS", "FAIL")Thanks for the help! 🙂

Hello, I am making a special CRM. I have customer information (name, phone, address…) and with this information, I would like to fill a google doc (there are variables like {{name}} and they have to be replaced with airtable data ). I am used to javascript but I am a beginner in the API world. I have already tried that: I don’t know how I can tell my script to only use the data from the row where my checkbox is checked (and how to tell Airtable to run my google App script when the checkbox is checked. I wanted to try the Google web app and use webhook but I don’t know if airtable can send webhook or if I have to add it a special code). I would like to only use code and not an app like Zapier (for flexibility and because I am curious). Best regards.

Hello!I run a grant application processing Airtable base that needs to seamlessly take titles of records, notably the name of the organization, and link it to other facets of my database. However, when some records to linked to other tables, it contains quotation marks around the linked record. My system does not change the record name by any means such that it is crucial that the names stay the same since my automations require to search records in other tables to grab information. Help would be appreciated! Here is a picture of what is happening to a linked record. I suspect that the ",Inc." might freak out Airtable to quote the text. 

Hello,I cannot figure out why I have a field which has multiple records linked to it even though I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records'.My tables are 'Materials' and 'Inventory by Location'. The top photo is 'Inventory by Location' table showing the linked field to the Materials. Preferably, if materials are linked to a storage location a new record would be created instead of linking multiple materials to one inventory record because I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records', or if I need to make an automation for that to happen then airtable would block linking of multiple records instead of what has happened in the photo. Also, I would like to know why, in the bottom photo, there are repeated links to the same storage locations. Thanks for any advice/clarification!  

I am using a mid formula to extract a string of text. The string appears as expected in the cell, but when Make (Integromat) runs the search it is adding an extra space before the string. " <string>" If the empty space is present, wouldn't I see it in the cell?I have checked over an over again to verify there is no extra space in the formula in Make. I have also changed my formula to +2, +2.Variations of this MID formula works with other use cases, this is the only one inserting an extra space. Is there a better way to do this? MID( {Summary}, FIND( ':', {Summary} )+1, FIND( ',', {Summary}, FIND( ':', {Summary} ) )-(FIND( ':', {Summary} )+1) )  

I have a list of schools and I'm trying to track demographics I have about the schools:raceincome levelsgendersI have reports with the aggregate data, not the individual student records. Therefore I'm not able to do rollups but tracking each demographic for an individual students in a linked table.What would be the best way to store the aggregate values, so that I can generate charts per school or across all schools? These categories have different amounts of choices too.

this is the record for "test" in our Airtable - #1 = VD Formula (Formula field for date)#2 = Main Verse#3 = Teaching theme/topic This is the email template in the automation - This is the Generated test email - #1 shows up exactly like it's suppose to but, even though there are values in the Airtable record for #2 & #3 nothing is showing up in the test email. I have refreshed, I closed everything and reopened. I'm not sure what I'm missing.  

I have a 'Learn more' URL link on each card, but when I click on it, it opens up to an expanded intermediary page showing the same link information.  I have to click another time to go to the destined URL. Is there anyway I can bypass the intermediary page?  Please advise.  Thank you.

Ok... will try my best to explain and hopefully someone will get what I'm trying to do. I have a table where each record includes a long text description of an offer in one column and another column that links to a table of manufacturers. I would like to use automation to search the long text description for the name of a manufacturer from the manufacturer table, and then add the link to that manufacturer in the next column.Is it possible within AirTable? I also have a Make/Integromat pro account so can use that if necessary.  

Is there a way to identify how a field was created if it was not created by a person? There is a field that was created but can not identify how it was created. Not sure if a person created it or it was created through an automation erroneously. 

Requesting some guidance here. I'm new to Airtable and have read some documentation but have not fund any examples similar to my use case. I have a single select data field that I need to convert each selection items to a numeric value that can then be leveraged in a calculated field that will score an item in the table.How can this be done in Airtable?

Today any script that I was using remoteFetchAsync (to avoid CORS errors) is giving me this error: j: Error: Bad request: <root>.requestJson is missingThis error comes up on a few requests to different unrelated APIs. Additionally, some which work using regular fetch give this error when using remoteFetchAsync.These scripts were working fine until now. Any ideas?
