Hello, I am making a special CRM. I have customer information (name, phone, address…) and with this information, I would like to fill a google doc (there are variables like {{name}} and they have to be replaced with airtable data ). I am used to javascript but I am a beginner in the API world. I have already tried that: I don’t know how I can tell my script to only use the data from the row where my checkbox is checked (and how to tell Airtable to run my google App script when the checkbox is checked. I wanted to try the Google web app and use webhook but I don’t know if airtable can send webhook or if I have to add it a special code). I would like to only use code and not an app like Zapier (for flexibility and because I am curious). Best regards.

Hello!I run a grant application processing Airtable base that needs to seamlessly take titles of records, notably the name of the organization, and link it to other facets of my database. However, when some records to linked to other tables, it contains quotation marks around the linked record. My system does not change the record name by any means such that it is crucial that the names stay the same since my automations require to search records in other tables to grab information. Help would be appreciated! Here is a picture of what is happening to a linked record. I suspect that the ",Inc." might freak out Airtable to quote the text. 

Hello,I cannot figure out why I have a field which has multiple records linked to it even though I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records'.My tables are 'Materials' and 'Inventory by Location'. The top photo is 'Inventory by Location' table showing the linked field to the Materials. Preferably, if materials are linked to a storage location a new record would be created instead of linking multiple materials to one inventory record because I have not selected 'Allow linking to multiple records', or if I need to make an automation for that to happen then airtable would block linking of multiple records instead of what has happened in the photo. Also, I would like to know why, in the bottom photo, there are repeated links to the same storage locations. Thanks for any advice/clarification!  

I am using a mid formula to extract a string of text. The string appears as expected in the cell, but when Make (Integromat) runs the search it is adding an extra space before the string. " <string>" If the empty space is present, wouldn't I see it in the cell?I have checked over an over again to verify there is no extra space in the formula in Make. I have also changed my formula to +2, +2.Variations of this MID formula works with other use cases, this is the only one inserting an extra space. Is there a better way to do this? MID( {Summary}, FIND( ':', {Summary} )+1, FIND( ',', {Summary}, FIND( ':', {Summary} ) )-(FIND( ':', {Summary} )+1) )  

I have a list of schools and I'm trying to track demographics I have about the schools:raceincome levelsgendersI have reports with the aggregate data, not the individual student records. Therefore I'm not able to do rollups but tracking each demographic for an individual students in a linked table.What would be the best way to store the aggregate values, so that I can generate charts per school or across all schools? These categories have different amounts of choices too.

this is the record for "test" in our Airtable - #1 = VD Formula (Formula field for date)#2 = Main Verse#3 = Teaching theme/topic This is the email template in the automation - This is the Generated test email - #1 shows up exactly like it's suppose to but, even though there are values in the Airtable record for #2 & #3 nothing is showing up in the test email. I have refreshed, I closed everything and reopened. I'm not sure what I'm missing.  

I have a 'Learn more' URL link on each card, but when I click on it, it opens up to an expanded intermediary page showing the same link information.  I have to click another time to go to the destined URL. Is there anyway I can bypass the intermediary page?  Please advise.  Thank you.

Ok... will try my best to explain and hopefully someone will get what I'm trying to do. I have a table where each record includes a long text description of an offer in one column and another column that links to a table of manufacturers. I would like to use automation to search the long text description for the name of a manufacturer from the manufacturer table, and then add the link to that manufacturer in the next column.Is it possible within AirTable? I also have a Make/Integromat pro account so can use that if necessary.  

Is there a way to identify how a field was created if it was not created by a person? There is a field that was created but can not identify how it was created. Not sure if a person created it or it was created through an automation erroneously. 

Requesting some guidance here. I'm new to Airtable and have read some documentation but have not fund any examples similar to my use case. I have a single select data field that I need to convert each selection items to a numeric value that can then be leveraged in a calculated field that will score an item in the table.How can this be done in Airtable?

Today any script that I was using remoteFetchAsync (to avoid CORS errors) is giving me this error: j: Error: Bad request: <root>.requestJson is missingThis error comes up on a few requests to different unrelated APIs. Additionally, some which work using regular fetch give this error when using remoteFetchAsync.These scripts were working fine until now. Any ideas?

Hi folks,I'm have a dataset of events in Airtable with each event as a row, and each row has a different number of sessions that can make up the complete event. This means I have 8 end date & time columns to capture the finish time of each session. Hello (second attempt to get an answer about this)I am not able to see the form data immediately appear in the table once a form is submitted. I am our AT admin and have never experienced this before. Instead, what happens is the form data appears the next day, or several hours later. Obviously this impacts our workflow.Insights/Troubleshooting-- This is a native form, made with AT-- I have changed no settings and no one else has either.-- I can confirm that the form I am using points to the appropriate base.-- I have cleared the computers cache and also tried from a different machine.-- I have not changed any settings that would force the form data to appear in the base on a schedule, but that is what it feels like it is doing... suddenly!?IssueForm data is not populating into the appropriate base until several hours later. This is a big problem for our workflow.

Airtable Friends! I have a linked field that is pulling records from our vendor database, which lives in a separate workspace. This database contains a master list of vendors, which admins update when a new vendor enters the game. In our main working base that contains the linked field, daily users can then add vendors to a specific record if they are part of that job. I need to check off that the vendor has been onboarded in a field next to the linked field which contains the vendors name. So I’m wondering if it’s possible to: -when a user adds a vendor name to our linked field, could it populate a multi-select field with the vendors name as an option? even better, a checkbox field.

Hello all,We have a fleet of vehicles. The people still fill in the data on a sheet of paper. I'm trying to digitize this a bit and I'm using the interface function (Forms).The person in charge would like to have a function that ensures that people cannot enter incorrect kilometers since they have to split up their kilometers driven.Do you know if something like this would be possible? Unfortunately, I have not been able to make it work.Thank you very much.    

According to https://support.airtable.com/docs/airtable-sync-integration-zendesk, automatic syncing happens around every 5 mins. But from my experience, it is around 10 mins. Is there anything to do to decrease it to 5 mins? 

Hello, Quick question. I have a field that calculates no. of days before start of a workshop. This is the formula I'm using- DATETIME_DIFF({Start Date/Time}, NOW(),'days'). I now want to create a field that calculates number of days 'after' a workshop. I want to use this for an automation. So for eg: if days after training completion =7, send email. What formula can I use here? I tried using a dateadd formula but I'm getting it wrong. Thank you 🙂

I'd like to have a column that will pull just the first line of the post using a formula. Hi 🙂I have a formula field "TASK" that checks if there is value in fields or not.  It looks like this;IF({Fuel L}=BLANK(),CONCATENATE("• Add fuel tank", '\n')) Now, I want to have another multiple-select "CLEAR" field that clears the TASK value if the corresponding value is included in multiple select fields. For example {Fuel L} is blank, but in the CLEAR field "Fuel L" is selected. This setting should not show   "• Add fuel tank" in TASK field. I tried with FIND(), but I should use something as not FIND()... I would appreciate help to accomplish this. Thank you,Pjero
