I need a formula to check if there is exact matching for multiple select field when values can have comma. Here is a sample multiple select I can have:abca,bI need to check if users selection is exactly 'c' and 'a,b'. All solutions I found (like using FIND) are not working with comma.

Hi All,I'm having an issue figuring out how to best format a formula for my situation. This is probably very simple but I need a hand. Here are my fields:"Total" - Currency field with numeric value"Total Copy" - Formula Field "Is Income?" - Single Select fieldBasically, I need Total Copy to take & convert Total's value to a negative or positive number based on Is Income.I have this so far to grab from Total and make it a negative: IF({Is Income?} = BLANK(), {Total} *-1, "") But now I need it to also recognize if Is Income is not empty so it can copy from Total and deliver a positive value instead of staying blank in that case. Any help is appreciated 😊

What is the formula to get the Time in hours and mins from a Date/time field?? My date/time field is called “Start”.

I am trying to send an email after a form is submitted, and include clickable links within that email.Say I have field called SITE, if I use the syntax[CLICK HERE] [SITE] where SITE is the embedded field name for the automation it just send an email with"[CLICK HERE] [https://123.com]" Instead of CLICK HEREI tried following the the advice in https://support.airtable.com/docs/using-markdown-in-airtable but whatever combination of brackets I use, I cannot get the links displayed correctly - What am I missing please?

I created a new token and tried to use it to replace my API key in a Zapier app connection for Airtable. Thought I was doing the right thing in preparation for the deprecation in 2024. It didn't work. Zapier doesn't seem to recognise the token and wouldn't accept it.Likewise tried to use tokens in direct connections with other subscriber apps. They didn't accept them either.I'm missing something fundamental here right? Grateful for any help.

Hi allI hope I can explain my question clearly enough. I have three tables - Job List, Candidate List, ApplicationsFrom Job List, I want to select a job and create a new Application record which will inherit the selected job title into the job title field on the Application record. This would also be a parent-child relationship.Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do?

I'm writing a script to create records from an API call. One of the fields is a single select option. At the start of the script, I want to use the input option for the user to pick an option from the single select, which will be used for all the records. I don't see any option to pick from a single-select list. Hi all, I’m a novice at airtable and some of the lingo is even over my head, so please bear with me. I’m a small business owner. We use Airtable to track our projects, sales pipeline, contacts, tasks etc. I am trying to create a custom grid view of my projects by quarter so I can see our projections. I would like to hide other info to be able to see a focused view. I have a column which is projected close date - I thought I could filter by this field, but it’s too limiting. Could anyone help here? Appreciate the support!

Hello,I am looking to create a rollup field to display the next task due for a project.  What I would like to do is have the rollup field display the task name, but the formula should reference something like the MIN({due date}) in order to select which of the many tasks are due next?  Can't seem to make it work and am wondering if it's possible or if I'm going about it wrong?Thanks!

How to Create Formula that Returns the Data in Field 1 (if data exists), or Field 2 (if no data in field 1 and has data in field 2), Same for Sequentially Fields 3-5? I see there are several posts on how to choose a “text” result by writing that text in the nested IF statement. However, I am looking to return the data in field 1 (check this field first and return the data in field 1 if data exists in field 1), and if no data exists in field 1 move on to check field 2 (check this field next and return the data in field 2 if data exists in field 2), and if no data exists in both fields 1 & 2 move on to check field 3 (check this field next and return the data in field 3 if data exists in field 3), and if no data exists in all three of fields 1 & 2 & 3 move on to check field 4 (check this field next and return the data in field 4 if data exists in field 4). Hi, When using the Slack actionable messages integration in Airtable automations, I receive the following message in Slack after pressing a button : "You do not have access to this Airtable record, or it has been deleted."I set up the automation to send the validation to a specified user when a new record is created.The user can choose between "Option 1" and "Option 2". They update the same select field having the values "Option 1" and "Option 2" in Airtables.Yet after pressing the button, the update is denied in Slack.I have the Airtable app installed.Any idea ?

I’m hoping someone might be able to help me figure this out… To put it simply I have one column full of images (just one image in each cell) but 1000’s of images total. I need another column, residing next to it that contains the URL for each image, and I haven’t found an easy way to do this aside from just copy and pasting each individual URL. Which gets very repetitive and time consuming doing this thousands of times. Is there a formula out there that could pull these image URL’s and fill each corresponding cell (to the right of the image cell) with the URL (of the image in the cell to the left of it)? Maybe I’ve just been looking at it for too long and there’s a much simpler solution?

I have an airtable base with member data, including a table with basic member data and another table with scheduling selections each member makes that I then use a look up to connect. With over 50K schedule requests, I've been "over" the record limit in my base for a while. I now can't seem to add more and have hit a hard cap. Enterprise pricing is out of reach, I don't want to delete historical data because the members' usage over time is important data, and it seems like I can't separate the tables into two bases and connect them the same way using a look up. Is there any solution here or am I out of luck? 🥲

Hi there,I'm trying automation for the first time and the ask is very specific. We run different training programs. For now, there are three training events we conduct for which we want to send automated emails once attendance has been updated. For eg: Main event is 'Clarity in Communication' . Under this topic we have multiple sessions carried out through the year. Once the training is completed, we want an email to go out to the participants after 7 days, then 30 days and then one specific date in April. All these messages are different. I'm not sure how to proceed with this and set up these conditions. I've tried various triggers but maybe I need some additional data in my records? Any insight would be helpful. Would be happy to chat in more detail if required.

I have a table that pulls some fields in as lookups.  I want to run an automation on record creation that copies the data from Field A to Field B.  I have tried to follow a few guides but even though my automations run in the testing stage they seem to fail in actual use.Trigger -> When a record is created in "Table 1"Actions -> Update record in "Table 1" -> Record ID "@" -> Fields -> Field B - Field A "Value"What am I missing?  Does it have something to do with Field A being filled with lookup data from a different table?  Is it a timing thing? (like does it need X seconds to process before trying to copy?)  Thanks!

I have 2 Airtbale Bases.One of my Airtables is importing a view from the other. The sync is 1 way and I see the data change as it is updated on the other base.I have some automation setup that looks for updates on specific fields.I noticed a load of automation shad not run, logged into Airtable with the data import and suddenly all the automations ran.Is this the expected behaviour? Is there a way to make sure the autoamtions run even if no-one logs in for a few days?Thanks

Hiya, I am fairly new to Airtable and have been tasked with setting up our CRM for the charity (HUGE JOB!) So... we have to get our dogs weighed roughly every month, but I need to be able to compare current weight with previous weight and how much the weight has either gone up or down. What I would like is when I come to enter a new current weight (in the {Current Weight kg} & {CW Date}(which is automatic date), the data that is already in those fields move to the {Previous weight} column and {PW Date} column (currently I am copying and pasting the data from current columns to previous columns before I enter the new current weight which is not ideal!.I then would like to merge my two formula columns {Difference} & {Difference in weight} into one formula so that all it basically shows is the weight difference and either a colorful up arrow or a down arrow emoji.... (oh and have the blank fields remain blank (not saying up!!) Can anyone help me do this?@Ben_Young1 

Dear community,I have two tables, one called Supply and one called Demand, full of engineering information. There could be several Supply records that match the properties of Demand records.I am looking to create a formula in the Demand table that returns the cell 'Specific Material' from the Supply table records, for each Demand record, via IF AND OR conditions.I don't know whether this is possible, and below is my attempt referring to the Supply table via 'Supply.' then the Supply field name. The Demand fields referenced all show as purple, indicating that they are correctly identified, but the Supply fields are all still black.The conditions are all AND except for Supply.X material colour, which could be a match to either Translucent Colour or X Material colour in the Demand table. One of these should match as the last AND condition being met.Could anyone help me solve this via formula? I'd prefer a formula solution to a suggestion to use Lookup fields.I had this working nicely in E
