Hello,I'm reaching out for ideas for doing an Accounting Forms (like a Check Request form) through Airtable. I love using forms to reduce data entry, however, I haven't been able to find a form that I can use to complete something as "complex" 😂 as a check request, specifically with multiple itemized lines presented in a Grid Format. Among other things, this Check Request Form would need Account Code, Description, and Dollar Amount *for multiple lines*. For example:Check #234 paying a contractor for services, expense reimbursement, and materials.Line 1: Fee for Services: Account: 100 - Description: Services - Amount: $1,000Line 2: Expense Reimbursement: Account: 200 - Description: Lodging - Amount: $350Line 3: Materials: Account: 300 - Description: Widgets - Amount: $500I could do 1 form per line, and compile the invoice from multiple forms, but that is not very helpful.I know exactly what is needed in a sense, but I don't know how to build it so that I can elimi

List A: the, cat on, was not, sat onList B: cat on, sat onoutput: the, was notEDIT: List A & B are linked fields. Linked to the same original field.I want to implement this functionality. It is achievable using a SUBSTITUTE on list B to add the relevant REGEX characters []* etc. This substitute would be placed in a REGEX_REPLACE to remove all the words in list B.I know it’s doable - but I struggling with the regex. Can anyone help please?

I want to be able to extract capital letters from a string (name of a type of event) to create its ID CODE.This way I can keep my ID CODE as a formula, not manually, and still control how it comes out through the capitalizing of letters in the name. For example: NeuroGym = NG Business Meeting = BM Annual global Event = AE Monthly internal Event = ME Business Event = BE

Hello community,My script do not work if the field is blanc there is a line break. however, i need the linebreak when there is a record.How can I do ? Thanks in advance {MARQUES} & IF({DESIGNER}, " X " & {DESIGNER}) & IF({DATATION}, " - " & {DATATION}) & "\n" &IF({COLLECTION}, " " & {COLLECTION}) & "\n" &IF({FABRICATION}, " " & {FABRICATION}) & "\n" &IF({PRODUIT}, " " & {PRODUIT}) & IF({MODELE}, " - " & {MODELE}) & "\n" &IF({MATIERES}, " " & {MATIERES}) & "\n" &IF({COULEURS}, " " & {COULEURS}) & "\n" &IF({DETAIL}, " " & {DETAIL}) & IF({GRIFFES}, " , " & {GRIFFES}) & "\n" &IF({PROVENANCE}, " " & {PROVENANCE}) & "\n" &IF({TAILLES}, " " & {TAILLES}) & "\n" &IF({CONDITION REPORT}, " " & {CONDITION REPORT} & "\n" &IF({ICONOGRAPHIES}, " " & {ICONOGRAPHIES}))

Concept:  I have 3 columns  i  have a multi-select field of Job Types as followsAerial Display - Water / BargeAerial Display - LandClose ProximityI have a total invoice column in $ (approved spend)I have a formula column with the current formula "IF({Job Type}="Aerial Display - Water / Barge", ({ApprovedSpend}-2000)*.27, {ApprovedSpend}*.27)I have run into the issue that when the column 1 (job type) has more then just "aerial Display water/barge" selected it ignores the first, part of the formula. so I'd rather it be something along the lines of IFCONTAIN?

Hi, I’m trying to find a way of calculating the difference between two values within the same field but in different records within the same table as per the image below. I have read many similar questions and answers but they always appear to be over complicated, although most have been from a few years ago. I am hoping therefore, Airtable might have introduce a simple way of carrying out this calculation and hope someone might be able to point me in the right direction.Just to clarify what I’m trying to achieve, I am tracking the weight (plus lots of other info) of our new puppy and want the ‘difference’ field to calculate the difference between his current weight versus his previous weight.

I have created a script to delete  a record but it is giving me an error. Here is the code: console.log(`Hello, ${"300 Replens"}!`);let table = base.getTable("300 Replens")await table.deleteRecordAsync(input.config()['reckUma1c1NLjQADd']); Here is the log:CONSOLE.LOG"Hello, 300 Replens!"ERRORTypeError: Invalid arguments passed to table.deleteRecordAsync(recordOrRecordId): • recordOrRecordId → recordOrRecordId should be a Record, not undefined or recordOrRecordId should be a string, not undefined at main on line 4I got the record id after expanding a record and copying it from the google search bar. Why is the log saying undefined?Thank you

Hi everybody!I'm trying to modify the formula below so that the empty lines don't show up and don't make a line break with empty lines.For each of the 18 lines I have {FormatX EANX Concatenated} from an other field where {FormatX EANX Concatenated} can be empty or not.If the {FormatX EANX Concatenated} is empty, I don't want an empty line.  {Format1 EAN1 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format2 EAN2 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format3 EAN3 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format4 EAN4 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format5 EAN5 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format6 EAN6 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format7 EAN7 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format8 EAN8 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format9 EAN9 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format10 EAN10 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format11 EAN11 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format12 EAN12 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format13 EAN13 Concatenated} & "\n" & {Format14 EAN14 Concatenated} & "\n" &am

Hi, I have a Make scenario setup, but it is not pulling through any data to Airtable. The Make scenario is attached and is very simple; it Watches for items in Podio and then Creates Records in Airtable. I have set up the link between accounts a few times to double-check that everything is working. I've continued to run the scenario, and it comes back with no errors or warnings, but when I refresh the Airtable page, no data is being pulled through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I am having an issue with my script:When using an integer value in the condition, the script works.Example: return all records that have a value higher than 9 in the field name "Bedroom": const propertyTable = base.getTable("Listing"); // Read the data from my Listing table const recordsFromproPertyTable = await propertyTable.selectRecordsAsync (); //Filter records matching a condition const matches = recordsFromproPertyTable.records.filter((records)=>{ return recordsFromproPertyTable.records.find((potentialmatch)=> { return records.getCellValue("Bedroom") > 9; } ) }) console.log(matches) When trying to match the field value with a single select or multiple select field, I am getting the following error:This condition will always return 'true' since the types  and 'string' have no overlap."I am pretty sure this is due to the fact that I am comparing an Array with text but I am not sure how to solve this:Return all records tha

Hello, We are struggling to extract the first image of a column called "photos" then re-upload it in another column. We tried to do it by having a formula to extract the first attachment url (which is working) : (IF(BLANK(photos), "", MID(photos, FIND("(", photos) + 1, (FIND(")", photos) - 1) - (FIND("(", photos)))) Then, using the following automation to upload it in our target column "1st_photo" :=> WHEN a record match conditions "photos" isn't empty THEN update the column "1st_photo" using the url from the formula column as input. However, this automation isn't workingI guess the issue come from the attachment url. Do you have any idea to handle it ? Does it require a script ? Thank you very much !

If I have one date in a single cell, then I would use the formula DATETIME_FORMAT({}, 'MMMM) to convert that date into a month.  However, sometimes when using a Look Up I'm pulling multiple dates, separated by commas, into one cell. I'd like to find a formula that will convert all of these multiple dates into the month equivalent. So solving the 'error below'.  Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

I am trying to build an order system with several tabs: Orders at vendor (I buy from 1 vendor) Orders from customers Customers Products An order from a customer has several products and might have more than 1 from each item. And that is where I get stuck. How can I add more than 1 of an item when there are multiple items? If it was just 1 item more times the colums would be product & amount, but that wont work. I feel like I am missing something obvious…

Dear allI'm new here to the community - so thank you for all future help & interaction!I have trouble finding a setting to the buttons in interfaces. In the airtable manual (https://support.airtable.com/docs/interface-element-button) there ist the following description: AppearanceBefore moving on to further interface configuration or publishing your interface, you may want to rename/label the button or change its color to provide more context to collaborators who are interacting within the interface you are building. You can also have the button update colors and/or label after the button has been clicked. I saw this function in the past, but can't find it consistently. Maybe I'm just don't see it or was it removed? I also can't find any thread or comment about this.Since it is a very valuable feature, I'm greatful for every hint!Kind regards, Chris

I'm using formula: SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(),'America/Los_Angeles') I want it to show the current time in LA but it keeps returning the UTC time instead. Any idea what's wrong with the formula?

Hi everyone,I am having trouble with a SEARCH() formula that isn't acting as I would expect. I have this long text in the field "FORMULE" :"1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vivre des expériences4: Pratiquer un sport"I want to search for the position of this string : "Vivre des expériences"Here is my formula : LEFT(FORMULE,FIND("Vivre des expériences",FORMULE)) And here is my result : "1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vi"-> The end string finishes by "Vi" which is one caracter to long, it should finish by "V" only... It is an example but it changes when you look for the other words, other example, when I search for "Pratiquer un sport" it gives me this result :"1: Pratiquer une activité2: Me consacrer3: Vivre des expériences4: Pra"-> It is now 2 caracters too long, it shloud finish by "P" onlyDo you have any solution about this ? I am surely missing something...Thanks a lot for your help

Hello everyone,I wanted to share with you an updated version of CSV Getter, a no-code solution for data backup and API building for Airtable. I've been working on this tool for over a year now, and I've received some great feedback from this community that has helped me make it even more powerful, agile, and secure. With CSV Getter, you can easily export an Airtable table as a CSV file and generate a permanent URL that can be used to access the full base, among other features. You can create secure export URLs in just a few clicks and generate dynamic, white-label tables or visualizations that can be embedded in your browser or iframe.Check out the demo video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/4EzGF3mUbiA. The video is only 5 minutes long and it will give you a quick overview of the features and capabilities of the tool. You can also check out the product itself for more information: https://csvgetter.com/I would love to hear your thoughts on the updated CSV Getter, and if you have any questio

Hello, everyone,I'm trying to create a email off of the scheduled time trigger that gives the recipients a list of the current records in a view (aka for review). The records in the view have critical documents that I need in the email, but I am running into an issue where because I have to get the records from Find Records instead of triggering off of their appearance in the view, the attachments can't be added, even if I make the fields they would be in visible in the grid.If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it as the individuals receiving these emails are not going to be active in the bases themselves.P.S. If anyone is curious, this is my current automation:Trigger: At Thursday at 11AM -> Find Records based on view (x) -> Send Email (Use grid with relevant information.) The grid contains the attachment fields relevant but always show as empty.

Hi, I've looked up my situation to see what the problem is and I'm still getting an error message.  I want to multiply two fields to get a total.  Qty field and Cost field.  Here is my formula.  I get #ERROR Thank you for the help.

Hi all, I have automation setup to put notes in long text field when certain conditions met (and was proud of myself  )…BUT when it triggers it removes and REPLACES any text that may already be there…just wanting to add additional text in that field…can that be done?

Hiya AT community, I was hoping someone would be able to shed some light on my issue, as I haven't been able to solve this one on my own!I have a script that is performing some updates to a stocktake via a script. It will find matching items and then update the value in the number field. My confusion here is that it is working for one field and not the other field, I have tried different strategies to try and get an error or figure out why, but the field ID is defs correct and the field name used instead also produces the same result. Any advice would be appreciated 🙂I'll try add the relevant code to the issue..This if statement works as expected if (newStockMatches){ if(storageLocation == "Warehouse"){ console.log(newStockMatches.id); recordsToAddStock.push({ id: newStockMatches.id, fields: { 'FIELD ID IN STRING FORMAT': newStockMatches.getCellValue('FIELD ID IN STRING FORMAT') + qty // Warehouse fiel

How do I update a record on a table, based on a record on another table that just got updated, it requires a record ID but the update record automation action only gives the record ID of the just updated record and not the ID of the target record

Hi and thank you for any help you can provide.I have created an automation so that when a record status is set (trigger = Pending), I get an email and Slack notification.I would like to know how to include record information in the notification. Right now, I'm just getting the message I typed in the Message field. Can I add record specifics there? I would like to see when the record was last modified, which in this case would be when it was set to Pending. I would also like to include other fields, such as the headline and writer. Thanks for your help.
