We're a publishing company and we keep track of content that we publish over the course of the year with these different columns showing publish dates. I'd like to do 2 things:Create 1 column that combines the dates (combining them so that they remain separate would be ideal, but otherwise, it could just be text formatted like this "MM/DD/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY").Then I'd like to have another column that shows the oldest date and a column that shows the most recent date.Another column that just adds the number of times the content has been published, so counts the number of fields with a date in them.The error you see currently in the far right field had the formula that I tried on my own which was:DATETIME_FORMAT({Publish Date 1}, 'MM/DD/YYYY') & "," & DA

how could i use zapier sync the Unsubscribes that can remove the record from Airtable?

Trying to connect Airtable to MailChimp using Zapier but keep experiencing errors that no email address is found. Goal is to enter contacts for local business owners in Airtable and also have them automatically added to our email list. Anyone having good luck using Zapier to update a MailChimp list who might tell me what I’m missing? It appears that when we enter a name of a person in Airtable it’s creating a record, which triggers our zap in Zapier. Well, if the email is not the first thing we enter it seems like it’s too late, the zap is already triggered and the email is not sent to Mailchimp. So my question is how to make a record create zap work where it’s not so quick to send the data that some of the data isn’t there yet.

Hey!I am trying to update a record based on the user's id, currently, I have this code but for some reason it errors saying: TypeError: Invalid arguments passed to table.updateRecordAsync(recordOrRecordId, fields): • recordOrRecordId → recordOrRecordId should be a Record, not a number (5) or recordOrRecordId should be a string, not a number (5)Basically I am trying to update the field URL for the user based off their user id, the text I want in the field URL is from the "strHash" stringlet table = base.getTable("Participant"); let record_id = inputConfig.record_id; await table.updateRecordAsync(record_id, { "URL": strHash })   

Is there any way to create a view with specific fields in Airtable, and sync it with Asana so that when a record is added to that Airtable view, a new task will be created in Asana, including those specific fiels from Airtable? I know a premium Asana subscription is necessary to add custom fields to the tasks. But does anyone know a way to sync these fields between both apps? Thanks.

Hi All,I hope this message finds you well!I’m currently working on a project in Airtable that involves two different bases, and I need help ensuring that when a record is marked as "Complete" in one base, it also reflects as "Complete" in the other base without the person manually marking 2 separate records in different bases. I have an interface with a dashboard with two pivot tables tracking budgets.I have a dashboard page set to allow printing; however, every time I print, one of the two pivot tables are cut off although they both fit on the page, and there is no horizontal scroll needed. I've tried to expand the table and print them one by one, but then the same cut-off still happens.This is how the pivot tables look on my screen only - only 5 columns to print: This is how it looks on an A4 page - where the two last columns are cut off:Does anyone know how to get these two pivot tables to actually print out so the printout is usable, or is it a bug?

I am trying to integrate airtable to make.com to do outbound calling to vapi. I'm having an error message / not getting a connection option. In make.com to Airtable connecting my airtable OAuth connection is empty error message is showing - the base error value must not be empty.

I have a base and a Main View for Selection. I enter the main view and select a few things.   The go to the view selected items.the latest selection don't show up and they are not just out of order etc.  Going back into the Main View for Selection and then going back to the View Selected Items now shows the selected items.Why do I need to go back and forward to see the selected items.The filed is a tick box in the form which works OK but the view selected only updated on the second enter.Thanks for your help,Peter Wallis

Hello,I am using actionable messages in slack to approve or deny purchase requests, holiday requests etc. Usually when I use interfaces for this I have buttons which update a field with the user who approved the request. I'm not sure how to replicate this using the slack actionable messages. There seems to be a token for 'user that took action' but I can't get it to populate either a user field or a text field with anyhting

Hi there,I'm trying to build automations for updated a multiple select field. The records in my table all have a "last updated date" field, which obviously changes every time a record is updated. There are two scenarios I am trying to solve for:1. When it has been over 12 months since the last update, I would like to add a tag in a multiple select column for "Last updated >12 months". I have figured this out using these instructions. 2. The next scenario I'm trying to solve for is when a record whose last updated date was >12 months ago (and is tagged "Last updated >12 months" is updated, therefore changing the "last updated date" field, and wanting to remove the "Last updated >12 months" tag from the multiple select field. How do I accomplish #2 with an automation? Hi allI have an orders table, an order line items table and a products table.In interface, i want my staff to make orders using the products table where they 'add product to new or existing order'.So when they click on the product this should bring up order line items form to add quantity, sell price etc of selected product and then either create new order (parent table of order line items) or link to existing order (order ID, vendor, consignee etc)Any ideas? Thank you!

I am tracking two kinds of activity related to a list of locations that I keep in a table called LOCATIONS. One kind of activity (programming) has very specific dates. The other kind of activity (development) is hard to pinpoint in time so I do not want to assign specific dates, but I do want to know what calendar and fiscal year activity is happening. My question is, should I create one table for all location activity, so I can see it all in one place for each location (when grouped by location), or should I create two tables and then look at my LOCATIONS table to see all linked activity? Or maybe just track development activity in the LOCATIONS table? Thanks!

Hello. I'm trying to create an IF formula that returns some text if the date field is a specific date. Each date would need its own specific text.e.g. If my date field was 05/01/2025, then the IF formula field would return specfic text (e.g Day 1).The bit I'm struggling with is doing this with lots of IF formulas in the same formula field. (I need about 47 different dates each returning their own specific text. Is this the easiest way to do this or am I missing a trick somewhere? Thanks in advance. 

I've been submitting tests for me event form however there is no restriction on being able to put the end date earlier than the start date. Does anyone know how I can remedy this?Thank you.

I have a project management base. I use the in-built Time Tracker extension to track the time spent on each project. I have several ongoing projects, and I work on more than one project each day. It annoys me that I have to select the project from a relatively long list before starting the time tracker, so I am trying to figure out if there is a way to skip that step.I have a table with clients and another with projects (Project name, Authorized number of hours, Time spent, and Time left). Is it possible to use the button field in the projects table to start the time tracker for a specific project with one click on the button in that project's row? Or is there perhaps a better way of doing this?Please feel free to ask if my question is unclear.Thanks,Lene D. Kottal

Is there a way to automatically generate and download/send a pdf of a page designer? Or has anyone found a way to do this with zapier or similar? Our use case: We generate several reports a night which need to be sent to a distribution list. Right now an employee has to manually print as pdf and re-upload it to airtable – after that the automation sends it out. It would be amazing if we could skip that one last manual step.

Hi Airtable Community, Here is the problem I’m trying to solve, I would like to generate a new page designer report based off a new record being created and automatically email updated report. We are updating reports we have published in the work environment on a physical whiteboard so simply sending the record/data elements doesn’t quite do the trick, we want to have a standard look/feel to the report and we are getting that from page designer but can quite crack the code in regards to how to automatically send the report. Open to any ideas or thoughts on how to address this problem. Thanks all. Travis

Hi there Airtablers, I’m using Airtable + MiniExtensions to do a little CSV uploading and processing, and I need to add client approval functionality. This would be via a PDF emailed back to them once a list is ‘approved’ via a limited write-access version of my base via MiniExtensions. Could someone please help me with some code in a code block, along the lines of… if CHECKBOX is ticked --> create PDF in PAGE DESIGNER, then save PDF somewhere useful afterwards. Any help very much appreciated, Airtable wizards! Thanks so much in advance.

Hey there, I’ve decided to venture into trying to achieve my mail-merge in Airtable. Premise: I have pre-written documents written by a lawyer to issue to new clients. (the copy is multi-language but the details of the project and the client remain constant) I would like to synch the client name, and project details into the copy. I’ve read and have tried to make the CONCATENATE approach but I feel it is very messy, and ineffective should the copy change at a later date, it also I will need to weed through the formulas to fix it. I tried another approach of creating a separate table of “parts” that at pulled in as needed, but since they come in as an array it made it tricky for me to figure out how to reference each key of the array. I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried this endeavour before.
