Hello,I have seen a few different solutions for questions related to my issue, but nothing seems to work still. I am going to hopefully explain this in the most concise, but detailed way possible.Overview:We have 2 tables that I am trying to make communicate. 1 table is an intake form with a production calendar view. The other table is an overall production calendar with many different views for different key stakeholders. We have an automation set up so whenever a client submits a request, it also get sent over to our overall production calendar.Problem:The problem is that the launch dates for these clients often changes and in return we need our overall production calendar to update whenever our intake manager moves the date on the intake calendar.Our current process:Someone submits a form.It is automatically added to the intake calendar.We have an automation

Does anyone use an external tool for viewing/creating/editing complex formulas? Is there a tool that you like to copy and paste your complicated formulas into? Notepad++, Visual Studio? I know you would lose the linking to existing fields and the function lookup, but I’ve been struggling with some of my really long nested if’s. Thanks, Mike

I am looking for help creating a formula field to change the format that phone numbers appear in.On Airtable, the phone field automatically formats phone numbers as: (555) 555-5555.I need the phone numbers to be formatted as follows instead: +1 555-555-5555.Please help!

Hi there,I built a custom CRM on Airtable for a client. But I end up with a lot of pages on the interface. So to organize them, my usual habit is to break up the initial single interface into standalone interfaces. One for each category. Like here:But in my client's case, this design choice wouldn't make a lot of sense since a. only one single team will use the interface, b. all the pages refer to the same category (CRM), c. they want something that's as simple to use as possible.So for now, here's the solution I found to sort out the multiples pages. I created blank pages and used them as dividers between sub-groups of pages and renamed those pages '–––'.Have you guys found any other creative workaround for this need?Thank you.&nb

Hey,I have tables of:customersAssets - each customer can have several assetsFaults - any property can have faultsThe handyman - for each fault there can be several handymen who will fix the faultSuppliers - for each malfunction there can be several suppliers through whom we will buy the materials to repair the malfunction.My problem is that I am unable to send the bank details of the handymen and suppliers to the customer by email.For example, if I have a problem that 2 handymen fixed the problem and we bought materials to fix the problem from 2 suppliers.When the fault has been fixed, I want to perform an automation that will send the customer a message in the following style - "Hi X, please transfer payment for handling fault Y to:Handyman 1:Bank - XXXXXBranch - XXXXXBank account number - XXXXXXHandyman 2:Bank - XXXXXBranch - XXXXXBank account number - XXXXXXSupplier

Here is the situation and thanks for all help in advance.I have a grid view where the primary filter is to only show records where a date field is empty.  This could be as many as 50 records at any one time.I'd like to add today's date to all records in the found set (empty dates) in fell swoop.  Of course, if I add the date to the field, it drops off the found set. This means I have to select todays date in 50 records with the awkward disappearing record.So an automation that will update the date field in all records in the found set might work.  I played around with an automation to do this, but couldn't figure out how to do it.I am open to alternative ideas.  Essentially, I have a set of 50 records that have an empty date and I want them to disappear from the list when a date is put in the empty date field.  But I'd like to automate it somehow.Hope that makes sense.  I have two attachments. In my 2 tabs “Freelancer” & “Project” I have some common criteria as lists : Country, Expertise, Language, ect… How can I do to have this common lists always up to date & use them to create algorithm / automations without creating a table for each criteria / lists ? Good day We are looking to incorporate our finance weekly tasks and monthly tasks in airtable for the 52 weeks of the year. Every day there are deliverables. We report our meetings weekly on our output. How do we go about incorporating this into Airtable? I have tried the project management tool available but the problem is once the month is finished I need to edit the deliverable dates every month. 

Hi!I just created a form using the newer form builder for the staff to use to submit expense reports, reimbursement requests, etc. All staff have editor permission on our "Expenses" base, where the form populates to. When the staff opens the form, there are buttons along the top of the form that allows them to navigate home, edit the form, or view the data (see picture attached).Is it possible to remove these buttons without changing the staff permission levels? They still need to have editor-level permissions so they can engage with the base in other contexts, but I don't want people to be able to easily or unintentionally change the form or edit the data.

Hi!Really need help, tech support didn't help me.When I click "create record" and want to enter data that I don't have in another table, I want to see a button to create a new record, but I don't have it and I don't know how to make it.I think you will understand everything when you see the two screenshots below.In the "base" mode, the button to create a record is there and when the record is already created, the button is there too.

Hi all, I have a csv file with a column that contains the name of the project associated with the client. So I have a csv file with 2 columns: customer email, project name. I have to import this file into the customer table on Airtable where the “merge field” is the email and the project name must be inserted in a multiselect field. The problem is that many customers already have projects in their multiselect field and doing this import is all overwritten and only the last imported project remains. So the question is how is it possible to import (add) new values in “multiselect field” without overwriting the already existing values? Thanks so much everyone for the help

Hello everyone, I have been greatly enjoying Interfaces, what a wonderful tool, thank you ! However, I don’t understand if and how I can delete a record from inside an interface. For example, I have an interface that is a record list. Above that record list I put a button/link to a form associated with the table from the record list, so that I can create new records. But I don’t understand how I could delete records from inside the interface. For now, I’m going back to my base with grid view, I have to find the record, right click and delete. Not the most efficient. Is is possible to delete a record from inside an interface? If not, did any of you find a decent workaround? Thank you, Ray

Is there currently a way to change the order of forms in the "Form" section of an Airtable Base? Similar to how you can move and group views, automations, and interfaces in their respective sections. Currently it appears that forms are just listed in the order of creation with no ability to group or reorder for ease of viewing on the back end.

The map app works when I am working at table level.When using share or Interface, changes to the Filter do not update the map.Suggestions?

Hello everybody,I am experiencing issues running an automation script. Basically, I have created an automation that sends information to a webhook link. My issue arises during the step where the information is sent to the webhook link—I am encountering challenges here. I created one variable, which I then implemented in the code using the configuration provided by Airtable, but it does not work as expected.What happens is that if I run the same script without the variable, it works, eventhood i use thes same script for the variables (see attached photo). To sum up: it’s the same script in both scenarios. When the variable is present in the left column, the script does not work. However, when the variable is not present, the script functions correctly.

Hi there,I need to create 3 forms that are pretty much exactly the same, but the link for each is inserted into a different flyer which is going to three different groups of people - each form is then linked to an automation which will catagorise the respondent for us so we know which form they have filled out. The problem is the 3 forms need to have exactly the same display name, but I want to differentiate them by name in my base view, which I am unable to do at present. Does anyone have a solution?Thanks!

How do i create a field or metric that shows the time it took to complete a project. for example, tracking the difference from the start date to the date when the project was marked as complete or from in progress to complete. I want to ignore all the other statuses e.g. not started, blocked etc.Is this possible? Reason i ask is to track this in a dashboard for average project completion time.

I have a base that has multiple tables for planning our annual conference. We collected proposals using a form view (Call for Proposals table), which includes fields for speakers (Speaker 1 Name, Speaker 1 Email, Speaker 2 Name, Speaker 2 Email, etc).    I am using FillOut for outside folks to update their submission. I am trying to pull the data for all speakers (Name and Email) into one streamlined table (Speaker Management). So how do I get Amy, Jessica, Miranda, Kristy all in one field with their email in another in a new table called Speaker Management? It should automatically update if changes are made to the original fields in Call for Proposals. This was there is always an up to date list of who our speaker contacts are. It would be nice if you could make an item on a calendar appear taller/larger like how you can with rows in a grid. Is there already a way to do this?Example below, would be more readable if the items were larger especially if toggled in the week or day settings 

I've created an interface for my team that displays a Gallery of active projects from our Projects table.  I want them to add/remove projects from that interface without having to go the the data.  The option to "Allow users to add/delete records inline" sounds great, except for:The popup looks like a form, but there is no submit and the new record is already created.  Confusing.Where do I go to delete the record?The pop-up only shows the fields I chose to display in the Gallery, I really want all fields.  Otherwise, the user has to create a new record with a few fields and then re-edit it to see all of the fields.I've hacked my way around #2 by adding a Button to the detail page that deletes the record.  Not great, but OK.My hack for #1 and #3 is to replace the option with another button that has a hard link to a Form I created.  That form then has a hard link to redirect back to the interface after wai
