Dear Community,i am new in the Airtable Universe and try to achieve the following:I have a Set of around 45 columns that i would like to export to a CSV - also with individual delimeter, i need semicolon instead of comma for example.I use a view to reduce the fields to the set i need.If possible i would want to do this via automation / script etc.I would not like to buy any additional programm or tool here, i seek your knowledge of how to script this or maybe with regular automations doable?Thank you for all input possible on this 🙂Have a great evening.BrChris

Hi there,we want to use Airtable Interfaces on Android phones in our field operations. The main challenge I'm encountering:When making edits to a barcode field (scanning a barcode or typing something), these edits seem to exist on the local phone only. They show on that phone in different Interface-views. However, the edits cannot be seen on a different device and are gone when the app is closed and re-opened. Hence, I believe the edits to a barcode-field on Interfaces on Android are never uploaded to the base. We've tried this on different Android-devices and always encounter this problem.Any recommendations on how to solve this would be much appreciated!

I’m currently creating an order form that will populate in the a table. I’ve noticed that if I make a typo in the field name on the form view, the typo will stay on the table view even when it is corrected on the form view. Is there a way to avoid fixing errors twice? This also happens if I enter a field on the table view and change the name on the form view. They end up not matching up. This may be user error but some guidance would be appreciated.

Hey, I’ve set-up a rather long form, and I’d like to divide it and give an explanation in that division. For instance, a section header: “Tell us about yourself” and then a short paragraph below: The next few questions ask about your name and your job. Fill them in for yourself and anyone in your group who is coming. The form gives space for four people and another spot to add even more if needed. Once you’ve given the names of all the people in your group, skip to “Your Preferences” below. Is there a way to do something like this?

Hello Airtable people!I am trying to use the Rest API through a python script to create a subcategories table with a multipleRecordLinks field that links to a category table. I am having the toughest time trying to create this field and decipher the error messages I am getting. Hello, i’d read all discussions here to resolve my issue and nothing work, how i can get it done with this discussion :slightly_smiling_face: for this i created two tables, one contain survey results and the second contain users entries, they add their profil and based on automation airable add via the linked field all similar profil, until this point all is good. For one of the survey questions, i asked people for main daily missions they do (multiple select field), when i check the lookup or rollup field that get missions data from all result i see many missions many times, i would like to have unique values but seems impossible, i tried all tips that i found here :confused: any advice please ?

When you are exporting an attachment value from the API the JSON object has multiple properties: url, width, height, etc. We have made it possible to distill the JSON down on our platform, https://www.csvgetter.com.This means, if you'd like just want image URLs in an Airtable CSV export, you can do it quite easily now. I've seen this question, but not the type of answer I'm hoping for. A CURL example is a great for me to translate the request. Similar to the CURL examples in the docs for List Records, it looks like I should be able to request records 101-200 using the offset value returned in the original request. The docs say it's a Query, therefore: ...?offset=itrvDOnB9cbRDnn63/rec1VA0JPORC2S9Zz It's not working. I haven't inspected the returned headers yet. So the questions:-- should the request be RAW or POST?--should/could the request be a JSON payload instead of querystring params? I need to retrieve thousands of records. My follow up question for data from a different table, USING JSON Payloads can I somehow filter fields? Hi, is there a formula to pull the date that a specific cell was updated?For context; I use Airtable to confirm bookings for my business, and do weekly reports on these. The reporting is currently based on 'created date' as I only add them to the system when they are about to be confirmed. However, there has become a need to add them to the system as soon as I receive the booking request so I can follow up on any tentative bookings. However, if they aren't confirmed until the following week or later, they will fall into the wrong reporting week. I'd like to change my reporting filters to be based on 'created date' OR a new formula field that pulls the date the 'Status' field was change to 'Confirmed'.I have other automation in play to manage tentative bookings, but it's failing and this formula would be a much better solution (if it exists).Any help would be much appreciated!

Well, as a certain happens as my business grows in my system grows, I'm realizing that I need to do some tweaks and I'm wondering what you would recommend here. I'm sure everybody has run into the situation. I've created two separate linked fields in one table and I wanna narrow it down to just linking one and looking up the other so now that I've got data in it. Is there ANY possible way to add color to the "Number" field inside the interface?I would love to change this dynamically; if positive green, when negative red. I have a bunch of these numbers on my interface that I'd like to track, and having this basic functionality would help to draw attention 

I am working on a project for a service company. I have a table with clients and then a table of projects that are linked back to the client. Clients are assigned a rate based on different factors. The rate is carried through to any of the projects they are linked to via lookup field. However, I would like to override the lookup field should we have a promotional rate or a specific project needs to be billed at a different hourly rate. Any suggestions?

Is it possible to 2-Way Sync between a Business Workspace table and a table of a separate Team Workspace?Would it be setup from the Business Ws table?

I have a table Treatments and a table Users. Then I have a table Users_Treatments where each record is a combination of one User and one Treatment, and in addition there is a Review field (basically users review treatments they have tried). I have already pre-populated the Users_Treatments table with users and treatments but I miss the reviews. I would like to create a Form, so that each user can add a review for each one of the treatments they have tried. Is this possible? I only managed to create a Form that however shows only one treatment per user.

Hi everybody, I am attempting to use forms to update fields in my table. I need to be able to pre-populate the other fields in the form with the current information that is in the table, is this possible?For example: I have a table of "Items", and each row has the item name and columns of information about the item- owner, amount, etc. In the form, the first question is "what item would you like to update?" with a linked record to the first column with all the items. When an item is chosen, I'd like the other fields to auto-populate with the current information in the table with that item, so they can see what they're updating. If they choose "Scraper", for example, I want the next field of "How many" to auto-populate with the amount that is in the table, and then of course I want them to be able to edit it if necessary. Is this possible, maybe with Zapier? Hi there,We're building a decision-making helper tool on Airtable to reduce the number of meetings at work. For each decision to make that requires the opinion of more than one person, we intend to have people use a dedicated Airtable interface. Someone will create the topic to be discussed on it and then add the relevant participants to the topic.But I'm having a hard time choosing the type of field for the `Participants` field on our database. I feel like it could be both a User field or a Linked Record field. In both cases, I managed to get a `Participants Count` field: in one case with a formula, in the other case with a Count field. I don't know which field type to pick because I don't have a clear overview of each choice's fallout.What seems the best approach according to you?Thanks.

Hi all--Thanks in advance for your thoughts. I have a items shown in the attached that are different content that have different topics associated with them (you can see the column of topics). I'd like to get a view in Airtable where I see all of these segment names associated with the individual topics in lists in 1 view.  The way I've thought about doing it is to try grouping them, but when I group them, they sort with the 4 topics together, not as individual topic lists. Grateful for any advice on how to do this!

Hello, I am trying to understand more about the paid plans, and who exactly on the team needs to pay for plans to access bases that use paid features. We use airtable for our general employee handbook. Although everyone needs to access it, only the admin team needs to have editing/creator rights. From my understanding, someone with a paid plan account needs to create a workspace that houses the handbook base. Then they would share it with the rest of the team, and note in airtable who needs read-only permissions (in which those users won't need paid plans to access the base), and those who should have editing rights (in which we would then need to pay for their plan). Is this correct?We want the handbook base to have the paid features of higher record limit and sync intergrations which would be useful, but we don't want to end up paying $20 a month per seat for everyone just for those two features as the cost isn't justifiable for

Hi there, I'm using the list view in interface designer as a project management tool. When I am trying to drag a line/task to another position, this doesn't work. I want this to work as in Todoist, Microsoft To do or Clickup (in Todoist it works best). I want to manually sort tasks in list view and also drag them to different tasks as subtasks.In my underlying grid view table, each record presents a task / subtask. In this table, I use a child task column for the nested hierarchy in list view.Can you please adjust this, so we can use Airtable like Todoist, Microsoft To do or Clickup?Regards,Chris

I have a multiple select field with four options: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. I want a formula field that prints how many of these options were selected. I played a bit with Count and If statements, but couldn't get anything to function quite right. Any help appreciated! 

Hi there,On this interface page, I have 2 progress bars: one visualizing the percentage of people who said 'yes' on a topic and the other one for 'no'.But instead, I'd like to get a stacked bar chart that combines the two figures into one single visualization object (like in the example below).I don't think that's possible as of now on Airtable, at least not on a List-type page. On it, someone creates the topic to be discussed and then assigns the relevant participants to it. Later on, the assigned participants weigh in on the topic.The screenshot below displays a list of the decisions to be discussed and of the positions taken by people. Hierarchy on this page is turned on, with topics being on Level 2 and positions on Level 1.As of now, new topics can be created with a short form that opens up when clicking a button, while positions can be created inline.
