Apologies if the question sounds weird. Basically, what I am trying to create is a form that records user and their IT asset.What I would like to have is that when I select their ID (the AD Login option) on the form, if they have an existing asset, it should automatically be shown on the "Old Asset Tag" option. If they don't have an existing asset, it will not show up. Is it possible to actually do so with Airtable? Or do I need something else?(In case you are wondering why don't I just split the form into one for new records and one for update, it's because I need to show the "history" of the user and their IT asset. With this way of recording, I can see the "history" of what IT asset the user previously has or not.)

I am trying to calculate the number of months between today's date and the "Test Date" field. When I use the DATETIME_DIFF formula it does not calculate it correctly for all values.  In the Test copy column I have this formula:DATETIME_DIFF({Test Date}, TODAY(), "months")It calculates some of the values correctly but then other ones wrong and I am uncertain how else to do this calculation in Airtable. What I need is that if todays date is Nov 7, 2024 then any dates in Nov 2024 would give a value of 0, any dates in October 2024 would show -1 but you can see the dates on October 16 and October 30 show a value of 0. You can see this issue also on the last row of the screen shot where the date of Jan 2, 2024 should be 2 but gives a value of 1.&nbsp

I have followed the prerequisites and setup steps, including installing Node.js, setting up a project directory, and running the commands “block init” and “block run.” However, I'm facing issues when trying to connect the extension to Airtable for a live preview.Here are some details:Project Directory: I've set up a new directory and used “block init” with my Airtable base and block IDs.Development Server: After running “block run,” I see the localhost URL, but Airtable seems unable to connect to it.Environment: I'm using a Mac with all required dependencies installed, including the latest version of Node.js and the Airtable Blocks CLI.If anyone has experience with troubleshooting these types of connection issues or can suggest further steps, your help would be great

I have recently starting migrating one of my apps to the builder hub for centralized distribution, and ran into an issue with Interfaces that leverage a button action to open a form.In the builder hub, the app functions perfectly fine - no issues at all.  Once the app is distributed, the url of the form instance within the target base changes, but the url in the interface button does not - causing a button click to reference the builder hub version of the form and thus perform lookups, etc. from the builder hub base in lieu of the base in the target workspace.It gets weirder though, as the managed app does know to store data in the correct base - its just lookups, filters, etc that do not function appropriately given anything inside the form leverages the base tied to the form itself. I did verify that the FORM URL changes upon distribution and the interface button action FORM URL does not.  While it could be

I have brought in multiple tables to Microsoft Power Query via Airtable’s API which creates queries for the tables. The issue I have is that all linked records Display [List]. When I click on that field the record appears to be the Record ID for the linked tables Primary Key. I assume that this needs to be extracted and then merged with the corresponding table(s) by the record ID then just expand the column that is actually linked.Is this the only way and if not is it the most efficient? 

Hello all--I run a content company and we have many different types of content and about 1,000 individual pieces of content. I would like to create an AI field that would provide recommended or related content by reading in the table the segment title and description. When I've tried it, it recommends ideas for new content related to that title or description, not related content within the table which is what I want. I've tried asking it to read cells using the {} brackets, but it still just suggests content ideas unrelated to what's in the table. Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

I would like to have Airtable email each respondent after a form is submitted showing the form questions and the respondent’s answers. I see how to send a pre-formatted email but not how to include data from the Airtable record and how to create a Google doc which would be fine if I could then get Airtable to email the doc.

I recently updated a form to "new forms" (by clicking on the "⇧ upgrade to new forms" button from a form view within a base) and edited/published the form via an Interface (as opposed to within a base, as I've done previously). I want to enable the same "email me at xxxxx@domain.org"  option that is available in the old form builder, but I don't see that option anywhere in the new Interfaces form builder. I've set up an automation to send me a generic email each time the form is submitted, but what I really want is the same nice email I used to get with an overview of the form responses. Am I missing something obvious? Or is this feature not available with "new forms"? Thanks!

I see I can set up an automated email response like “thanks for filling out the form” but ca I set it up to include their responses so they have a copy of what their answers were?

Form question for you all. I need to capture phone number on an Airtable form however I can't figure out how to require it be entered as a 10 digit number so that area code is captured. The Phone number field type does not require the response to be 10 digits. I'm open to using the Formula field type however can't find a formula to use that would require 10 digits. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, following these instructions Sending Airtable Data to Microsoft Power BI & Power Query | Airtable Support I was able to link a single Airtable table to PowerBI and this works very well. However, I would like to link multiple tables from the same Base to PowerBI. Does anyone know how to solve this? Cheers!

Hello,I am coding a specific HTML form with google script and airtable. I am using the webhook automation with my HTML form (using action=" URL of my airtable webhook ").  <form class="form_style" id="subscription_form" action="https://hooks.airtable.com/workflows/v1/genericWebhook/app5FlLF4JRKgnLGQ/wfle1FROme98xqd3d/wtr9QlkcULz" method="POST">  All work fine but I am always redirected to the airtable success message. I tried to use AJAX with google script and Airtable but had no success (I saw that CORS is a problem with webhook automation). I want to stay on the page and display a success message (form submitted on the same page). Could it be possible and could you help me, please?

When using a simple Send Email Automation action, it is very easy to insert of "List of Records" and select which fields to show. I have this setup for an automation that is sending a confirmation email when a form is submitted, and I want them to receive a confirmation email with their form submission details integrated into the message. Once those forms are submitted, various other actions are done to a status field to indicate the applications path through our processes. For those applications that are still pending an approval from an outside client, their status is "Still Pending". I would like to create an automation that on a certain date/deadline resends the original message that is sent to the approver. I have built a second automation to trigger on that date, and "Find Records" that are "Still Pending". Once it creates that list, the action should "Repeat for each record" in the list, and send a custom email. I wanted to just duplicate the original

Hello!I'm using a prefilled form URL field. When a customer submits a button it opens the prefilled form in the corresponding URL field.The problem is that it works perfectly on desktop, but when using App, the prefilled form formula does not work.Is this expected bahaviour?Thanks!

Hi, I want to generate a vcard file from my records automatically. I already connected my Airtable to my app (Adalo) where I receive my users information. If I could generate a vcard file I could export it back with Zapier to my app, but I didn’t find that how could I generate it. Maybe a formula, but I’m not sure about it. Thank you in advance!

Hi all,Can someone please assist me in linking my worklist with a reference table? Essentially what I'm trying to accomplish is to pull in information from a reference sheet into the main worklist whenever a couple conditions match.For example, if the "Region" listed on the worklist is AL-1 and the Insurance number is 4, it will search the reference table and pull in the 4th insurance plan from that specified region and import that plan name into the master list which will ultimately be displayed in the interface view.

Hi,I'm looking at abstractifying our e-mail contents to streamline the process. E-mail content is now stored in the automations itself, but I'd like to move it to a dedicated table. Our automations use a fair bit of dynamic content, such as <first name> in the opening line, derived from various "Find Records" steps.I tried to construct the desired e-mail content with a "List of <first name>" token and just copy/paste it to a Long Text field with formatting turned on. Airtable changed the variable to @Unknown and threw an error "Invalid data - you have to refresh the page", and didn't store anything of the pasted text.Is there way to build the whole e-mail content including variables into a template stored in a table?Rgds,Björn

Hi,In our CRM we started with building stuff for a workflow for one customer area, say "nature". Knowing from the beginning there'd later be a need for other areas too, I put a categorising "tag" in place. So we have the leads and some other key data labelled with tags like "nature", "sports", "food" and "music".There are a lot of email automation built in for this workflow. The other areas will largely have the process steps and hence hopefully very close to the same workflow.Starting looking at adding the other three areas to yet only simple email confirmations and reminders (there are more complex automations also) I got a bit stuck. I guess I could build Conditional Logic steps for each of the cases. However, as I now understand it, this would require to also hard code Find Records steps for each case.As there may need to be some updates and other actions too, I'm afraid I'll run out of steps at some point. It also bothers me to hard code all the case
