I have several automations with the trigger of "new row created in Google sheets". The action is for the data from Sheets to create a new record in AT. "Test automation" works fine. But then the automation works SOMETIMES! It wasn't running at all. Then all of a sudden, it will pull in a record. Yesterday it pulled in every record I created. Now it's doing almost nothing. I have tried it with Google Form submission as a trigger also - same problem.I really can't pay for another service to do this. I had this working last year, now can't figure out where I'm going wrong. Thank you for your help!

Hi,I have a to-do list table that I want to share a view of it with a collaborator so that she can add her own tasks and create a new, bigger table for a project that both of us are working on.This is how I do it:First, I created a new base where I added her as a collaborator. In this base, I created a synced table from my own to-do list table. To merge with her tasks, I created a project table in the same base and created an automation (when a record is created in the synced table, create a record with all the fields in the project table). This works well.Secondly, I want it to update records in the project table whenever the to-do list table is updated. However, it seems that I’m not able to find Record IDs for the automation to update records. I know how to create a field containing record IDs in the synced tab

Hi,I'm trying to attempt accounts receivables reconciliation in Airtable. I have managed to get email bank statements parsed with Zapier, which creates short strings like "NN has the paid the bill 499,00" in one table ("statements"). In another table I have orders ("Orders"), some of which are open (and now marked "paid" by hand).I had thought I easily could make an automation triggered by the creation of a new record in Statements, which would check for any open orders matching on the name. I tried putting two 'Find records' actions after each other, where I thought I could feed the output of the first into the second, thereby filtering down to a result with only those records for which there is a match in both tables. After that I would create a Repeating action to update all those record.Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to feed the output (list of names) to the second 'Find records' to match a contains -filter. Hello!I want to use the results of an extension into a formula to automate a field.For context, we are using a SendGrid extension to send out emails and once those emails have been sent I want to be able to automate a status field to change from 'email to be sent' to 'email sent' - any idea on how I could do so? I'm also hoping this means that it would keep the emails that have failed to send as the status 'email to be sent' so we can repush them.TIA!

Hi everyone.Ive got a table with about 8000 names in it,and this was quite happily linked to another table which has about 30 organisations in it. Totes awesome.Because of a change in the org, Ive needed to set up a new table with a lot of that data in the 8000 names. So I simply duplicated the table. Dead simple.The link field that links from the Duplicate table to the organisations still works, I can still pick the orgs they belong to however it doesnt appear to be bidirectional and of course the orgs table hasnt created the "links to the new table/list" that you get when you do this yourself and not duplicated.Is there a way to fix that and create a linked field at the other end that shows the people in the duplicated table that are linked to the orgs?

We have recently switched our 'job allocated' column to a user group column so users get notified when they are tagged, however we would like the appearance to remain the same (coloured).Is this possible? Please help. It is very bland and difficult to differentiate without colour.

Hi,I am using AT for the CRM purposes. I've got a list of proposals we're working on within my Proposals Table: https://airtable.com/appGL773TiIYzLwZD/shrzetl6rN5gnxAYzNow, what I'd love to calculate is: based on the stage selected (and % probability assigned to it) and proposal value, I'd like to calculate probability value.So if stage = "Proposal + SOW submitted (50%)" then, it's 50% of the value.Do I need to create another table for the probability? Have my stages outlined, then % and create a formula within my 'proposals' to calculate it?Thank you!

Hi all, I am new to airtable and fumbling my way to create a resource directory for a group of companies.  What I am stuck on at the moment is how to adjust the options shown in a dropdown list if a name is not shown in another column. Screenshot below - is it possible to only have the names listed in the respective 'Provider' cell, in the Select dropdown? So in the example below, only have 'Thrive' and 'StartupQ' in the Select dropdown for that row?   I hope this makes sense! Many thanks,

When you’re using apps, you can click on a bar on a chart and it’ll pop up a window that shows all the records in that particular bar. How do I do this in interfaces? Am I missing a setting? Right now charts aren’t interactive at all.

I'm new-ish to AirTable formulas (though experienced with spreadsheet formulas) and I have a unique situation where I would like to calculate a calendar date based on a combination of units that include Frequency (eg, monthly or weekly), Day of Week (Mon, Tue, etc.), and Week# of Month.For example:  X event occurs every three months on the third Weds of that month. These schedules are variable by record (it's a client service schedule), so some clients are serviced once per week while others are serviced once every other month, etc. The goal is to show at least the next service date after today (and if possible, all future service dates throughout the year) on a calendar view. But I cannot just add a number of days or weeks to calculate the next date because the schedule needs to place service events on the particular week/day/month combo.I do not have a starting formula yet because I'm not sure what logic is needed to pull together the variables.

I’ve done some research but haven’t been able to come up with an answer. Using softr.io, stacker or any other alternative… can you have an ‘embeded’ table where the data can be changed. Hi - I have this list view setup to allow for new records to be created in-line but for one level it seems to work and another it doesn't. I'm not sure why - screenshot is attached to explain. Very grateful for help

There is an issue where:Every time I paste something into a long-text field, it scrolls to the top of the long text field. Then I have to scroll back down to continue writing. When working with longer texts, this can be very annoying.Any ideas?  

Hello! I have an event workback schedule set up with a formula column to auto-generate a due date based on what date I specify in my date column (see ex. formula below). However, I would like to have the formula column auto-generate a list of due dates based on one 'master' date. I BELIEVE this would be an automation, possibly?For example, we have an event coming up on April 7th. I would like to specify 'April 7th' in Airtable and have all the due dates in my work back schedule auto-update. When adding data to Airtable records using Softr, I encounter a significant delay of around 4-5 minutes for the data to appear upon refresh if the records contain foreign keys referencing another table. This delay contrasts sharply with the immediate addition and display of data when records are added to a normal table without foreign key references. The presence of foreign keys seems to introduce a lag in the synchronization or processing time, leading to a noticeable delay before the updated data is visible. This issue may be attributed to the additional steps required to validate and integrate the foreign key relationships within the database, causing a slower response time compared to simple table updates.

So I'm trying to import images in an attachment field.  I tried connected my Dropbox account but unfortunately it's not showing all the folders in my Dropbox account.  It's only showing the first folder.  Is there something I'm missing with permissions maybe?
