Hello all, I am new to airtable and here is my problem: My database has few automations that run weekly (separate times and days). I would like something like a calendar, where I can monitor at any point if any of the automations ran and if it produced a changed output (its not always expected to). I have tried using the timeline and calendar interfaces, but those are based on fields and not automations. Have I missed something, any advice on how I can visualise what I am looking to do?Thank you

I am experiencing an issue duplicating one of my bases. The details are: Base ID: appMbMonUXRj3FMXX Base name: QUAN LY TNC Issue: When I attempt to duplicate the base (both with data and with structure-only), the process never completes. The dialog shows “Duplicating your app is taking a bit longer than expected,” but even after more than 12 hours, the duplication does not finish. Troubleshooting attempted: Tried duplicating with full data → stuck. Tried duplicating structure-only (no records/attachments) → stuck. Tried in multiple browsers and workspaces. Waited over 12 hours without completion. Already tried to create a new base from a snapshot → still unsuccessful. Anyone have experiences in this matter?

I’m really sorry to have to ask this question.But since the last update of the interface, I have the following problem: How can I exit the edit mode of interfaces if I haven’t made any changes? The publish button is not active, and the “exit” button that used to be there is gone. What am I missing? Thanks!

We have a rich text field with the lever turning on allow for rich text.   This field is being displayed on a form.   However,  when the form is launched,  the formatting is removed and it's all regular text.  I guess Airtable removed formatting for the field when used in a form?We dont have access to the full version of mini Extension just the free version.   

Hi, I see that Airtable doesn't list a php sdk, but I found 2 and saw another user on here mention another.  So, what's the most current, works with the current and near future api?  I’d like to get started but don't want to spin my wheels on a dead sdk.  Thanks :)

Is there a way for Record IDs to be visible after a user completes a form? Maybe in the message that appears after hitting the submit button to act as a “confirmation code” that can be copied and pasted elsewhere?Current state: Team member completes airtable form. After completing the form, team member is redirected to message thanking them for the submission. Goal:After completing the form, a record ID is generated from the completed response and the user is able to copy and paste that record ID number to be shared/associated.  To my knowledge, the record ID is generated after the form is completed and is visible in the Data is there anyway to make this visible sooner and so the user doesn’t need to view the data to pull record ID info? 

Hi When i'm working on the interface, I would like to be able to copy past data from a cell to another cell. Is it schedule in the roamap ?   

I have set up an automation to email myself and my coworker when a new marketing task is submitted through our airtable.Currently I have it set up with me in the to address field, and my coworker in the CC field. When the automation runs, it sends me a duplicate email, and my email is copied into the CC line. I initially had both of us in the To line, but then it would copy both emails to the CC line and we would both get a duplicate email.I've reset the triggers and retested multiple times, and I cannot find a fix for it.

Hi, apologies if this is a duplicate – in my searching, I only found questions about a Gmail integration. I’ve noticed that we’re having issues with automated emails being sent TO Gmail email addresses. The automation works in all other cases, but with Gmail addresses, we’re finding that recipients can’t find the email in spam/junk or promotions tabs. Is there a known issue there, or does anyone have suggestions for what might be happening? Hi all,A while back, I somehow managed to add an “Add Item” list element inside the single record template. But I have no idea how to recreate this now. I would start from a blank canvas, but I don’t see a way to recreate this situation.  

We recently updated our AirTable interface to sync directly with our google calendar. We deal with scheduling out many projects across multiple calendars with subcontractors and we use all day events to do so. When I tried to sync our calendars without incorporating times, all of our all-day events were extended out by one day (ex: All Day Event on 7/8/25 in Google Calendar would translate to Start/End: 7/8/25 → 7/9/25 in AirTable when times are excluded). I’m assuming that this stems from Google Calendar and AirTable having different “all day” time functionality. Is there a way to fix this? Here is the result I’m looking for:All Day events syncing from Google Calendar to AirTable exactly as shown on Google Calendar (ex. I need to manage multiple deadlines for multiple projects & clients more efficiently. I don’t want to update deadlines in multiple places, but that’s where I am. This isn’t efficient and will not work for the long term. Here is the current setup:I have a Primary Base I use to manage grant research, tasks, and profiles for all of my Clients. This includes 2 key tables: a Research Table and a Task Table. The Research Table is filtered into views that are specific to each client. Each of those views are synced to a Table within a Separate Client Base. That Separate Client Base also includes a second Submissions Table that is manually updated with specific due dates and other requirements that are unique to that Client (although some research may be relevant to multiple Clients, specific details will be unique to each client). Is it possible to add simple text blocks within a form to break the form into multiple named sections?

I’m syncing records from a source base into a separate working table. New records from the source base are showing up on the sync’d base, but updates to the record (e.g. selecting a different single source field entry) are NOT syncing. The base is set up for automatic sync. Is this a bug, normal (i.e. updates to records don’t sync), or is there something I’m missing in setup?

Hi everyone! I’m building an Interface page that will serve as a library of:Each Product my team trains on. From a synced table: Product Database. Each training Resource we have for each Product, which are set up as linked records.  From a synced table: Training Inventory.  I set this up in a Record Review layout (preferred over List View for our use case). When editing the interface (and when “normally” viewing the published interface), everything looks great. The linked records display properly (as a view) within the record details.The problem: In the public share link or when embedding the interface on SharePoint, the linked records do not appear. Hi everyone, I’m teaching a course which requires students to label and recognize certain kinds of sentences. I have a list of sentences for them to practice on in a table and the answers in the next column. I’d like to set up a kind of self-study tool for students. The Flashcard App would work really well for that, can I somehow share that with my students? It’d be even better if I could randomize it. The ideal use scenario would be a multiple choice test that would grab, say, 10 examples and then reveal the correct answers to students when they submit. But I’ll take what I can get! Thanks!

Hi everyone,In our workflow, it’s really important to be able to see multiple dates for the same record, not just a single start/end range. We know the Calendar view allows multiple date fields, but the challenge is that Calendar displays events vertically, while what we need is a continuous, horizontal view like the Timeline.Has anyone found a workaround or creative solution to display multiple dates side by side in Timeline view (similar to how Calendar supports it)? Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance 🙏

Dear Airtable Community,I’d love to get your support. In our timeline view, I schedule our technicians. Most of these technicians are from the assembly department, but occasionally we also have technicians from the service or maintenance departments helping out.I’d like to visually distinguish the technicians from the other departments in the timeline view, but I can’t seem to find a way to do this.Do you have any ideas on how I could set this up?  

I can't wrap my head around this restriction on interface designs. If you have a linked record picker, but the field has a dynamic filter on it, then Airtable will not allow you to show the list of linked records as “cards.” You can only see them as “pills,” i.e. name only, without any additional context from the records’ fields.  I have a field directly above this one where the user can see cards with additional information when they're trying to select the appropriate record to link. I can't figure out any obvious reason why a dynamic filter should create a situation where you would not be able to access and display the fields for those linked records. If it's just a UX design decision on Airtable's part, I don't understand why they would see limiting a user or builder's access to their own data as a good thing. 

Hello! I wonder if you might give a way of offsetting the “Q1”, “Q2”, etc markers on the Gantt timeline, to support a fiscal year that does not match the calendar year. Or, if not that, to hide the markers altogether. I realize there’s a way to use formulas to have fields reflect an offset fiscal year based on dates, but I don’t believe it’s possible to change this header and it’s very confusing for viewers. Since the latest update, when looking at our Interface the data is getting jumbled.  eg. we allocate workers to projects and they are correct on our Base, however when we look on the Interface on a mobile phone the columns seem to mix up and Workers are appearing against the incorrect projects. Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix for this?

How do you reinstate a deleted record? It’s been 24 hours since we've noticed - is there a way to revert to a previous version?

Hi all, Does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to link tables to automatically create a weekly meeting agenda?I currently use a main table to list a number of construction projects, with each row being a certain project as per the example screenshot below. I would like to create a second table for a meeting agenda which only shows the projects ‘in construction’. A simple agenda would have the columns Item, Lead, Status, and Update/Action Items.I’m leaning towards a second table rather than a filtered view so I can also add other items to the agenda (such as Strategy or General Business).What’s the best way to create this?Thanks in advance,Andrew  

Hi,Please guide me about how we can use scripting automation to run through the records of a specific service provider and update the closing balance (just like it is done in excel). I am testing an automation setup where a user fills out a form with a multiple select field to indicate the social media platforms and post types they wish to share content on around a singular topic (i.e., they could select Instagram - Story, Facebook - Post and Instagram - Post all at once) and then an automation that creates new records in a separate table for each of the post types selected in that form (so, three entries based on the example I shared above). These created records are also linked to the initial table with a linked records field.The issue I have is figuring out how to update the records in the second table if anything changes in the first table (i.e., the name of the post topic or the social posts desired). I’ve attached my automation setup and am just stuck on how to populate the Platform + Post Type field when the first automation that creates the individual records for each of the multi select options chosen in the initial form.Does anyone know h
