Hi guys,The easiest explanation of my problem is this:I have an orders table and I have a “Tags” field in that table (multi select) - one of the tags is “Awaiting Payment” When a customer pays, a team member will remove this tag. When this happens, we want to automatically leave a note in our Notes table.We already create notes automatically in other automations so are confident with that part, but the trigger is more of an issue?I’m thinking that maybe I need a “Tags Previous State” field to copy to?Not really sure, I appreciate any insight anyone can offer. 

In airtable form the column should be visible when 2 column values together should be 100%. 1st Question:For example, as shown in the screenshot below, in the Airtable Form, when a user updates Tag 1 and Tag 2 so that their total equals 100%, Tag 3 and Tag 4 should no longer be visible in the form. If the tags do not total 100%, all three remaining tags (Tag 2, Tag 3, and Tag 4) should remain visible. 2nd Question:Is there an option or way in Airtable forms to prevent users from submitting the form if the total Tag does not equal 100%? 

Hello, I have a basic form for people to request new feature. When i open the form and submit all goods. When some of the users open the form they have the message: “Error Refresh Server”. Any idea what’s the issue ?  Thank you :)  

@ScottWorld , I went through a few options to look at ways to just highlight the duplicate entries as they get entered into a database. I noted u came up with a simple one but there were no steps written down. We have a unique patient ID which is in the primary column , we dont want to duplicate a patient file. Every time we enter we wish to have a look and see if there is a duplicate entry and delete if its highlighted. makes sense?

Hi Awesome Airtable folks, I am a fairly competent basic Airtable user - basic integrations and data moving between bases, however not a full coder (so need an easy solution that is easily passed on to others please). I would love your advice on the best approach for this: -We have an event, and we have 2 different H&S forms that we require our various stakeholders to complete. Just wanted to pitch this, and see if you are seeing this as much of a need as I see it. I am a heavy Notion user, which I quite a lot but I overall preffer Airtable except for one thing. NOTION Formulas as far superior. To give an example, you can use dot notation in Notion formulas  sum((Pagos.filter(and(current.Tipo=="Cuota",formatDate(current.Date,"MMMM")==(formatDate(today(),"MMMM")))).map(current.Monto)).first())!-->Here I am getting fro my list of members, all the categories they belong to, and from there all the events there are, and from there all the dates. Hello all!I’m building an inventory database with an associated request form. I have two separate tables - one for full inventory and one for the request. In the request table, I’ve allowed people to link records from the Inventory to a requestor record. What I want to happen is that when an item is added to that requestor record, I want the associated item in the Inventory table to update its status to “Checked Out”.  Can anyone help me logic this one out?  Thank you!

Trying to find a solution to always show every month in a range. Pivot tables don’t provide any customization for this, so I am trying to reimagine data in a dashboard/interface bar chart. There is an option to show empty records, but as you can see its still skipping months. This is a single select field, with every month as an option. I want to see months that are missing any selections. I’ve also tried it with a date field updated to bucket by month, but still same issue. What am I missing?

Hello I am working to find a way to connect stripe to Airtable. The use case for this is to show when a customer’s account is paid, past due, or cancelled. We have a people base in airtable that is each individual user in our system. Name, company name, emails, etc In stripe we have subscriptions that are paid and automated there. All payments are through this system. Some stripe subscriptions are an ap or accounting email but pay for 10 users in our people base. I have tried zapier but it does not have the ability to connect the two in the way that is needed. I am thinking I need to connect the unique stripe customer Id to the user in airtable. Not sure if this is best done through the stripe meta data. Then I would need a script to connect this meta data to the users in the airtable base.

Hi, I’m trying to share a table using an iframe, I do not have problems when I see it from desktop, but from mobile it does not look good. When I enter the iframe URL in mobile it works fine, but when I enter my URL that has an iframe inside, it looks different. Does anyone know what could be happening? I’m trying to get text and currency to combine and show properly with 2 decimal places even if they are 0.00.I have a product field (with text), a value field (with Currency)If i did a simple Formula {Product} & “ - $” & {Value} the result makes $18.30 from {Value} turn into $18.3 and $20.00 turn into $20, removing any 0’s after the decimal.Through research and help we can do the following equation:CONCATENATE({Product}, " - $", IF({Value}, ROUND({Value}, 2) & IF(FIND(".", ROUND({Value}, 2) & " ") = LEN(ROUND({Value}, 2) & "") - 1, "0", ""), "-.--")," "&{/Unit})This will put in 2 decimal places unless they are .00, then it reverts to suppressing the two 0’s after the decimal place, how do i get them back?

Is there is way in airtable filling the form by quarter and once it is submitted it should create multiple record as per the quarter.

Hi all Does anyone know if Airtable has considered other options for date pickers?Currently it doesn’t allow for choosing years (which you usually can on typical date picker forms). So unless you use your keyboard, it’s not practical to move to other years or even months ahead. Looking forward to your thoughts. Soeren

I created a database but not the way it is suppose to be, so now I created one with the same fields but it is relational now as i did not know how to build one. So, now I need to move all the data into the new one. Can someone tell me how, i saw something about syncing but I cant find a way to do it. thanksRose

Hello Everyone, I want to display the whole content of the “Long text” field (about 100 lines) in the Gallery/kanban view. Now it shows just the top 4-5 lines and then the next field content. To read the whole content, one has to click on it to expand. Is there a way by which the whole content can be displayed in the Gallery/Kanban view without clicking over it? Thanks a lot!

I have been working on a few bases an just want a steer on best practice re conditional logic on forms for Interface users.So for example if I have two record pickers on the form, one is to select Client, then there is one to select a project, I only want to see Projects relating to the client that I have chosen aboveIt seems that I can’t really do this with a native Airtable form, but I have been able to do it with Fillout forms, which is great for forms being used by external users, such as customers.My question is how do people provide this functionality to internal interface users?  Do you have to link out to the Fillout form from the interface or can it be embedded within the interface in some way.  I am on a Team plan. Thanks  

Hello,We run a residential real estate sales business and have our office lead interface set up with the “current user” permission level. We’re encountering an issue where users in teams (e.g., lead agents, co-agents, and admins) can’t view and manage leads assigned to other team members, even though it's relevant to all parties involved.For example, we assign leads to the main sales agent, but if the agent is out of the office, we want to allow their co-agent or admin to view and accept the lead on their behalf. The team members currently get notified of new leads via and automation where they are cc’d into an email, but they currently can’t access, accept or manage the lead in the agent's interface as its only visible to the lead agent.Is there a way to set up team-based user permissions, or link team members one another so they can access each other’s data without creating separate interfaces for each agent or team? Hi everyone,I’m trying to build a chart in Airtable Interfaces to compare three values for the same category: Budgeted amount Consumed amount Imputed amount Right now, in Interfaces I can only create basic charts (bar, line, pie, donut, scatter), but I haven’t found a way to display these three values together as grouped series in a single chart.Ideally, I’d like to have something like a grouped bar chart or a pivot-style view, where for each budget item I can quickly see the three numbers side by side.Is there any way to do this directly in Interfaces? Or maybe through a workaround (extensions, pivot table, or calculated fields) that can then be brought into the Interface view?Thanks a lot for any tips or examples!

Hello, I’ve created a database that essentially allows me to create a call sheet (sample here) using the page design app. I currently have two tables: Call sheet table - lists the date as the main column. For each date, I have information such as the location, linked crew member, status etc. Crew table - this table lists each person’s name in the main column. There’s a linked record to the dates they’re working in the call sheet table, their email, cell, and role. I’d also like to add a column for the call time, but that will vary based on the date. On Tuesday their call time might be 9:00am but on Wednesday it’s 8:30am. Since each crew member in linked to several call sheet dates, one person may be linked to 2-4 different days of work on set. I’ve got a base with an “Event Finished” formula field that works like this:IF(DATETIME_DIFF({End}, NOW()) < 0, TRUE(), FALSE())It resolves into a checkbox, and I use it to filter out finished events from admin list views. My base currently sees about ~15-20ish events a day, which have times attached, and the folks that need to monitor the views have told me they find it really annoying when finished events aren’t filtered out of a given list view.And it works fine! I could be using IS_AFTER rather than DATETIME_DIFF, but otherwise, it does the job. However, I know NOW is a function to avoid. Its inaccuracies aren’t a big deal to me (if the formula clears out an event 15 minutes later than it should have, that’s not the end of the world), but its computational cost is becoming more of an issue.
