Hi Airtable team 👋  I'm building a master fulfilment dashboard using Interface Designer, based on a table (Partner KPI's) where each record represents daily performance data per partner.One of the most important metrics I want to track is:Cost per Scheduled Consultation = Ad Spend / Number of Consultations ScheduledRight now, this is calculated per day via a formula field on each record. ❌ Problem 1: The dashboard shows an average of the per-record ratiosWhen I display this KPI on an interface, Airtable averages the daily cost-per-consultation values instead of calculating:Total Ad Spend for selected period / Total Scheduled Consultations for selected periodThis leads to completely misleading values, especially if some days have very few or zero consultations, which massively skews the average. ❌ Problem 2: No support for weighted averages or cross-record ratio KPIsI need to be able to calculate

Hello everyone,I’m trying to replicate a process I set up a year ago that is working well.  I have a formula that opens a form for a responses table that automatically links it to the main table.  The formula uses the form address and prefill, with the record id of the main table record.  When I open one of those links it works perfectly. It is not editable, but shows the linked record information.I’m trying to replicate it on a new base, but the same prefill option isn’t bringing up anything unless I make the group editable and then anyone with the form would be able to see all our records. Here are the differences I can spot, but I don’t know how to make them match:In my working form I see this in the group settings

Hi, I would like to copy a table (a specific view) to paste it into a table format into an email, but I can’t seem to figure it out. It seems that if I were to copy the records in an AirTable, it just converts into plain text when I paste it into email, instead of a tabular format. I tried a bunch of different ways, but the only way that ended up working was downloading into csv, applying borders to my table in csv, and then pasting it into Gmail. Surely there is a better/faster way to do this? Hoping someone could help here!

When working with building automation systems outside of Airtable, a lot of use cases involve taking actions on Airtable data. These are currently done via custom Airtable API calls and actions that require a lot of configuration. They’re difficult to set up, maintain, get right, and scale.It would be a huge advancement if, instead of hooking up all those API calls and configurations ourselves, we could just provide our base and table and provide our request to Airtable Omni via the API and let it do the agentic work on our data.For example, the automation might look something like:ClickUp trigger > Airtable > Airtable Query: “Look through user feedback data in table X in base Y and provide a summary report of the 3 most important areas of improvement according to Z criteria” > Upload the PDF and upload to Microsoft OneDrive.”The parts in bold is where it would be very he

I have an email automation set up so that when an attachment is added to a field, an email is triggered to a project manager with a copy of that attachment.Currently, we delete the old attachments before dropping a new one in so you do not receive multiple attachments with the email that gets triggered.Now with the new Versions feature, I want to keep the old attachments in the field but only have the latest attachment added to the email. Is there any way to limit the attachment field in the email automation to only the latest one that was added?

I’m clicking and holding on a field to move the fields into a different order on my interface but it won’t move.

Hello, I am wondering if I stumbled upon a bug, or if this is a setup error or limitation of some kind: I have a dashboard interface with a pivot table, and while it looks great on desktop, it shows up on the mobile view, but missing some key elements - the labels for all columns and rows display as “(Empty)” even though on desktop those values show up just fine. Any ideas why that is?  My only guess is that maybe it’s because the fields I’ve chosen are not supported somehow? I’m using a lookup of a single-select value, maybe that’s the issue? Any ideas or fixes welcome. Thanks so much!  

Is anyone else having this experience? The new UI (besides for being a steep learning curve) is loading base and interfaces really slowly???Best part of AT was the instant response….

Hi, can someone please help with my formula? I’d like to calculate the number of days between two dates, but if the dates are the same then they should display 0. The formula below works to show the ones with the same date as 0, however it then shows the ones with different dates as being one figure too little. DATETIME_DIFF(  {Post Sale Date},  {Auction Date/Time (Local)},  'days') To fix this I added +1 to the formula, which of course, solves the latter issue but not the issue for same dates need to show 0. DATETIME_DIFF(  {Post Sale Date},  {Auction Date/Time (Local)},  'days') +1 Can someone please assist 😊

I already made a dupe and its still the same. I tried to revert to yesterday’s version and the old form worked. But Im trying to find out the difference on the settings and visibility, there’s no difference. Im just confused.. another problem is that we sent out this form to plenty of people already that doesnt work.. Can anyone help me please?

Hello!In the data layer, I can no longer find how to toggle on the setting to view other user’s Personal Views. There used to be a gear icon to the right of “Find a View”, however, I can no longer find it or figure out how to toggle this setting on/off.Can someone please help?Thanks!Sarah

Hi all, this might sound trivial but we are having an issue with Airtable opening on an old base instead of our newest one.  The old base is called Jan 2025 and the newest one, which we are working from, is June 2025. Previously, whichever base we closed the app, logged out or closed the browser on, was the same base Airtable opened on next time.Since creating the June 2025 base, Airtable always opens on the old Jan 2025 base. It’s happening for each user who logs in so it’s a universal thing. We’ve deleted the cookies, logged out properly, logged in again but no joy.I’ve tried searching but can’t find an answer. Any ideas please anyone?

I'm working with a database structure that has three tables: Publications, Artworks, and Individuals. Hi! I have some pivots in Excel that I’m attempting to re-create in Airtable. It has multi-level categories in the rows (Region, Country) and then 4 different metrics that I convert to a %. (In Progress, Successfully Completed, Previous Week Successfully Completed, and Increase Amount) I have all of the line-detailed data that you’d need to get this in Excel (Record ID, Region, Country, and binary 1/0 for In Progress, Successfully Completed, Previous Week Successfully Completed, and Increase Amount.)  I cannot for the life of me figure out how to replicate this in Airtable and then add it to an interface. The closest I’ve been able to get is a grouped view of the data that I show as a grid and then removing the “0”s and changing the values of those metrics to be % Filled. This is almost fine, but it doesn’t stay grouped and expands too much. Is there a better way to do this? 

Hi! Does anyone know a trick about how to get the email of a user, that filled a form with a “Restrict access to an email domain” activated? When this feature is on, the user must sign up and login into AirTable to fill the form. If the user’s email domain belongs to the one accepted at the form settings, then he can view the form, fill and submit it. So my question is: since the user have just signed up and login, is there a way we can save the email address used, inside the created record? Thank community!

Hi all, I already know Airtable doesnt allow you to share interfaces with non-users (not a good move, Airtable!) but i'm trying to not give up on the beautiful dashboards i made.Other than taking a screenshot, are there any extensions/third-party tools that i can use to share my dashboards with others that are not on Airtable? We want to share it with our board, funders, etc.

Can anyone explain what this error message means? “Field cannot accept the provided value: Could not find matching rows for string.” Trying to fill a linked column with an automation, however, sometimes there is no information to fill.

I have been looking everywhere for this answer and I swear I have watched 100 Youtube videos to no avail. Hoping someone on here can help me :)I currently have a “projects” table and a “tasks” table in my base. The projects table is configured so when I add a task to that project it adds it in the tasks table to be tracked. However, if I add that same task to multiple projects it tracks it in the tasks table as one record. Therefore, I can’t individually track the same tasks for several projects. Basically, I want to select the same tasks for several projects and then track those tasks separately. Example:Project A tasks:-solicit bids (complete)-draft contract (in process)-hire sub (on hold)Project B tasks: -solicit bids (in process)-draft contract (on hold)-hire sub (on hold) Thank you so much in advance!! A quick question - I have a KanBan view, with a ‘Month’ field as the stacking field: JAN 24, Feb 24, Mar 24 …. etc.I want to be able to filter down my Kanban view, to just show recent activity, eg) 2025, but filtering the corresponding records for the view leaves the empty stacks in place. I know I can use the ‘hide empty stacks’ toggle, but it will hide any recent, relevant empty month stacks that I may want to use, and not just those in the past (2024, etc.) Any ideas?

Does anyone know how to get Airtable to go back to a previous look.  The new look with the status bar on the left has made airtable more difficult to work with.  Left Bar down the entire window instead of across the top.
