I’m working on the following project in the interface designer where I want to utilise two tablesInitiatives Type of workIn this interface page, I want to use the list view and use the hierarchy levelsLevel 1 - Initiatives Level 2 - Type of work  The goal is to being able to group the records by the status field from the initiatives table. I am trying to set up an employee scheduling table. The table has links to my events table and to my employee table. The events have a "Start date" and "end date". Is there a way to create new records in the scheduling table pulled from events in the events table for each date in the start to end range? Ideally it would have all the event info in each day of the range. Employees are scheduled for full days so i wont need times, i would just like the ability to be able to add employees to each day of the event. Thank you for any help!

Two similar linked records link the BOOKINGS/LICENCES and the COSTS tables with the REPORTS table. I create a new record on the junction REPORT table (primary field = ReportID), and I manually choose to bring which licenses from the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table and which costs from the COSTS table will be included in this particular report from linked record on each tables.  Then I created a linked record both on the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table and on the COSTS tables that automatically pulls into those tables the reportID number (primary field) and an associated lookup field, so I can know directly from the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table, in which report a particular license is included. Same from the COSTS table.  I replicated the same logic and created the same relations through linked records on both tables. It works perfectly on the COSTS table. Since the updates Airtable has implemented in the last week or so, I am having an issue when trying to run certain automations.Mainly I notice this with my Generating PDF script automations (integrated with Documint).I will set to Generate and the automation used to take 10-15 sec at most to generate the Documint PDF and paste into my attachment field, then update any other fields. I have an Automation that updates a Multi-Select field in a different table. When the update occurs it over writes what is currently in that field. Each name has a different color. I want to augment, or add to the existing data in the Multi-Select field not over-write it. Not sure how to approach the problem within Automation. For Example, a field of user names, each name is in a color bubble separated with a space. Initially the field is updated with the name “John”. A second update to the field with the name of “Tom”. The resultI was expecting is : “John Tom”, or “John, Tom” each name in a different color bubble, but what I get is “Tom” and an empty color bubble. Any suggestions.

Hello, I inherited an Airtable base that essential keeps track of new subscribers. It was set up to calculate the enrollment date (ex: 7/24/2025) and extrapolate the year registered into a new column. However, currently the column mostly remains blank and/or it has enrolled everyone in the year 2022. This information is then supposed to be reflected on another table with their information. I am new to using Airtable and any information or direct you can provide is greatly appreciated on how to input an effective dynamic date formula.

Hello!I am hoping someone can help. I am trying to create an order entry/invoice database where I can track customers, products offered, sales, contracts with vendors, etc. My main priority right now is tracking product sales by unit/# of customers. I have a database set up right now with the basic - Product, Customers, Line Items (customers can order multiples products and qtys of each), and invoice tab to generate the invoice number and collect data to use for the page designer extension so I can send a PDF invoice with the data stored in airtable. I followed one of GAP consulting's videos to set it up. The issue I have is there is no streamlined way to set this up for ease of use. BC the data is stored across multiple tables you need to go to each table in a specific order to enter the data. It is not intuitive for the person I am setting this database up for. I have a single select field with options A, B, C. How can I limit a user’s ability to select an option twice? Once an option is selected they should not be able to select the same option again.

rtf text fields are very limiting because there is no ability to add tables and advanced formatting such as callouts, toggles, dividers or images/videos.It would be extremely useful to have a few more elements in a similar way to Notion.Do you know if there is a plugin/addon to achieve something similar and make a more functional built-in editor?

Hello - I have a event data table ( nested in a event base) where I have list of potential events where my clients could participate. One of the column in the table is year column where I have a added a field agent to check the year the event is happening by routing the field agent to the event website cell.  So the field agent goes to the event website and check the year of the event and outputs that in the year column. I want the field agent to go back to the event website on a regular basis to keep checking for the year. Because the year column is connected to a secondary trigger automation where multiple field agents goes to the event website and collates the details about the event (Description, Target audience, topics discussed and others) For the year, when the field agent checks the website today, it might be still 2025 but tomorrow the website might have been to the subsequent year which is 2026.  So the question is is there a way t

Hello, I've built my site and linked my forms from the backend and captured in AirTable perfectly. This forms contain data from buyers/sellers landlord/renters(property field), I want to know if Omni can assist me in creating a matching feature so I can link buy-sell or landlord-renter requests that come in with certain perimeters which then matches and creates a new set of data, that i can follow up with. Is this possible?

As the title states, I need to know how to make comments made on an image viewable in a shared view. I don’t need the ability for people to comment, I just need the comments that I made visible to them! Seems silly that I can share all the other information on an airtable, but I can’t easily share comments that break down what an image shows to more clearly convey the information being shared...

Hi, hi. Happy Midsummer. I hope you are all wonderful. I have the most simple task that I cannot figure out for the past ten days. I'll attach an image here. I set up my inventory tracking system. I included a button to receive packages of inventory and a button to delete used packages of inventory. I cannot connect these buttons to update my current inventory column. My buttons open beautifully to the form, but when I input two boxes were received, nothing is updated in my current inventory. When I update two boxes were used, nothing updates as well.Let me know what additional information I can give you if you have a possible code. Hey there, I am wondering if anyone knows how to use Fillout to generate unique forms for people in the airtable database. The idea is this: let’s say on some column in Airtable, Bob is only eligible for groups 2, 4 and Adam is eligible for groups 1 and 3, is there a way for Fillout to read this information on airtable and then create a personalised URL that gives Bob a form asking him to pick only between groups 2 and 4, and similarly with Adam? And can it do so while having a ‘live-booking’ functionality - so within Airtable, we have a Groups table that displays the remaining seats, so if group 2 currents sits at 0 remaining spaces, Bob will only have a form that asks him to pick group 4 (not a great example but hope you see what I mean).I would really appreciate any insight into this :)

Hello guys, this error always comes up when I'm trying to add data using a pop up form on an interface level: Worker responded with {errorCode} for {path}, {action}, {modelClassName} (Please see the First Image)Also when I'm trying to add data manually on the backend, an error message also pops up (please see second image). Both of this are occurring on the same table. I've looked at a few posts that deal with updating an existing record based on a form submission, but haven't found anything that addresses my particular need.I have a base to keep track of volunteers. It includes general contact info, which groups they are a part of, how they came to the organization, etc. I want to also use this base to keep track of which events they RSVP to. They RSVP to events via airtable form. I want to be able to update their existing record to add the event to the "Events" column (multi-select field).I've found ways to do this that involve the person filling out the form looking up their record (e.g., https://community.airtable.com/t5/show-tell/updating-an-existing-record-via-airtable-form/td-p/132681). I run a nonprofit that runs mentoring programs. I have a table that has a unique ID per mentor/mentee (a list of letters and numbers). That is the primary field. Their names are then in another field. There are about 72 people engaged in the program.I want them to be able to fill out a form for their mentoring activities/hours per month. I’ve created a new table, where the primary field is autogenerated. I’ve created the form, but I’d like for them to be able to choose their name from a list on the form so that it connects automatically to the main table and shows how many hours, meetings, etc for each person.Unfortunately I can only add the ID linked record for them to choose from, which is an internal number that they don’t know. Any creative thoughts on how I can get them to choose their name and have it still link/connect?

I wanted to find out from the Airtable Community - is anyone using Airtable to send *Scheduled* emails? If so, then I’d like to know how you do it, and how timely the emails are. Over the last couple of years, I remember hearing on these forums that Airtable doesn’t update very regularly… and that if I say send it at 5:00pm Airtable might send it at 4:45pm or 5:15pm, or even a day late. Is that still the case, or can I send scheduled emails that are sent at the correct time yet?  To be clear, for my use case, it doesn’t have to be exactly on the minute for me. I am at a nonprofit that’s just trying to simplify our systems to have a lower technical learning curve. It’s up to 150 emails a week for appointments. I want to simplify these workflows so I don’t have to use Make or Zapier to send *Scheduled* emails.  I would be glad to use Airtable AI

2 interface questions: Is there a way to discard unpublished changes? I was trying to add something to a current interface, but it isn’t laying out how I want it to… so I want to revert back to how it was. But it won’t even format itself back to how I originally had it… So I’d like to discard these changes and put it back how it was automatically. This leads me to my next question. Can the elements on the interface only go into these pre-determined ‘boxes’ that are popping up. Sometimes it won’t allow me to resize things the way I want them because it doesn’t seem to ‘fit the mold’. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope those make sense!
