Why is it not possible to view all of the “Pages” in a base? On an interface view we can create and view all the main pages, but in order to create specific record detail layouts we need to drill down through any and all pages to get to the record detail layout we want to edit. Then we can save a copy and rename and edit, but it would be so much easier to be able to open a “Library” of pages and layouts related to our database so we can easily and quickly view, edit, and copy these.I have to write down and keep track of which page layout I have for different views so I don’t forget where it is and how to get to it.
Edit after ~1h of investigation: it turns out these are rate limits that are the culprit. Which raises a new question: if I change the email address in the automation, will it impact the runs that are currently in progress? My guess is no. And so, if no, is there any way to trigger a re-run of the currently stuck runs? I several automations running that involve sending emails. They have both run over 6k times until yesterday around 8pm many runs are stuck in “pending”. There are several things puzzling about it:There isn’t a clear cut off when the automations started getting stuck. See screenshot below: several still pending from before 9pm on Oct 16, followed by successful runs, then everything after 10.15pm is pending.2.Runs stuck at different steps. The automation has two steps: find records, then send email. The earlier runs are stuck at the step of sending an email. This makes it hard to verify which part of the automation is malfunctioning.Earlier runs pending at the step “send
Unbenownst to us and without warning, we ran into our Business tier automation limits. We run a mission-critical medical company. Is there any way to escalate this internally at Airtable? I have already submitted support tickets and contact forms. Ticket # 01168252. My business is literally stopped right now due to this and the repair process will be significant, and we didn’t have any warning whatsoever.
I'm curious how others are using Airtable to manage property maintenance and repair requests. For businesses that handle maintenance work, keeping track of service requests, technician assignments, job status, invoices, and customer communication can quickly become difficult without a structured system.I've been exploring whether Airtable can be used to create a centralized workflow that tracks: Incoming maintenance requests Priority levels (urgent, standard, scheduled) Technician assignments Job progress updates Customer contact information Invoices and payment status For example, businesses that provide services such as emergency plumbing Baltimore often need to respond quickly while keeping records organized and accessible.Has anyone built an Airtable solution for property maintenance, facility management, or repair-request tracking? I'd be interested to hear what tables, automations, or interfaces have worked best for you.
Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one. As/after the admin enters new pink sl
Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to use Webhooks for a while to create a simple link that will allow my University’s Data Team to click a link to let us know that a query has been created. The Data Team will not use Slack either, so I’m basically trying to do an Actionable Message, but automating sending an ‘actionable’ link through our Microsoft Teams Channel.I have the Webhook examples below. The formula automatically generates the RecordID into the Webhook so that when it is sent, the RecordID appears in the Params. However, I can’t get that information to go into the Body, so I am not able to use the RecordID in my “Update Record” automation. (AirTable recommends using ReqBin for webhooks/testing, so that’s what I’m in) With University Guidelines and permission issues, I am only able to do this through AirTable and not any 3rd party tools. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do this? Thank you!
Embedding an airtable into my website was working fine as of May 31, 2026. Now my customers are telling me they are receiving internal server errors and cannot see my calendar data. Is there a support issue going on about this? I have submitted a ticket, but no one has responded for several hours now.
In my Airtable project, I'm using an interface "record review" page. In my data, I have some fields which are tracking phases status completion. For example, I have three phases so for every phase, I have a percentage fields to calculate how much each phase is completed. Now in the interface page, I want to have a timeline kind of custom component, where I can see green circles if a phase is completed, yellow circles if phase is started but not completed and white if phase is not started. Can this is possible?
Many enterprise security policies require applications to timeout after a period of inactivity. Airtable currently doesn’t provide this functionaly; instead it offers a fixed web session length.Enabling this means Airtable users get logged out in the middle of their work (they could be presenting, in the middle of updating a formula, or deep in analysis). If you’re using the Airtable app and have multiple windows open, all of your Airtable windows close out when you log in again. Please update this feature to align to other SaaS products - thanks!
Hi all — working with a client on getting Portals set up, and when I added it to their plan it's showing the change won't take effect until the end of the month, meaning they can't build with it right away. They're on an annual Team plan and I'm adding a 15-user monthly Portal add-on to test fit before committing to annual. Is this the expected behavior? And is there a way to pay the new invoice today and get immediate access? It seems like the feature should be available to build with as soon as it's added. I've submitted a ticket to expedite but wanted to see if anyone else has run into this. Thanks for your help.
I have a multi-select form field. If they click Paid Social, I only want to show the questions related to paid social. If they click on Organic Social, Employee Advocacy, or Executive Advocacy, they get other set of questions.Additionally, can I hide all the questions until the preferred channel is chosen?
I need to perform some calculations on the evolution of the skills of all participants individually, using the Airtable interface. For this, I need your help to create the data model. This is the information flow:1- At the beginning of the program, participants must fill out a Google form with 36 questions (never, rarely, sometimes, frequently, always) to assess their skills. The key is their email address.2- At the end of the course, they answer another Google form with the same 36 questions to assess the development of their skills. I already have a table with the participants' data, where the key is the email address. What is the simplest solution to implement this?I've already asked for help, but I haven't been able to implement the solution. :-)
I build 3 tables:First table for suppliers: supplierId, supplierNmae.Second table for products: productId, productNameThird table for the link between suppliers and products: supplierId (link to suppliers table), productId (link to products table), price (the price of the product that supply this product). In relational data base that what I need to buid.Is that what I need to do in Airtable data base?
Can I submit an article on airtable’s blog?
I am trying to create a task management database for a small farming operation. Each year, many tasks will follow the same pattern of dependencies, duration, and time between. I currently have 4 tables: Plants: As I add plants to the list, I can generate tasks for the Task table with an automation that pulls tasks from the Templates - Task List table. Templates: Lists the different available task templates. Templates - Task List: Lists the different tasks associated with each Template. Also links dependent Predecessor and Successor tasks. Tasks: The final output table, where tasks from the Templates - Task List table are added when the automation from the Plants table is triggered. This automation works. Certain details are included in the Templates - Task List table and called to the Task List via lookup or rollup fields, including Days Before Next Task and Duration. I also have a marker (checkbox) to indicate which task is the starting task in a sequence. Another automation (also w

Using an automation to assign a part number to any part who does not have a part number. Since this database is needing to retroactively run this script one at a time due it is nature of how it assigns part numbers. The best way to do this is to have the script run once, then identify the next record this script needs to run on (next record without a part number) and run again. However as it stands, the second automation run will not happen even when the conditions of the second record are changes to meet the conditions of the automation. Is this a known bug/limitation of airtable automations?
Hi,I’m looking at migrating some Airtable automations to Make, due to getting close to the 50 limit and seeking some more power. However, I found out that Make doesn’t have a “When record matches condition” trigger for Airtable, which I use quite a lot. What is the recommended workaround for this? Is it to watch for any/specific updates to a record, then use conditional filtering like in Zapier to continue just for those events that match the criteria?Any best practices or tips to share? What modules should I look at employing? Quite new to Make, so any input is much appreciated.Cheers,BjörnPS. I’d very much prefer not to have to create and maintain an Airtable view for this, which seems to be a requirement for at least the “Watch records” module.
Hi,I use the Airtable trick of having an automation update an URL link field so that it becomes a named clickable link. In other words, turning https://www.airtable.com into Click here with [Click here](https://www.airtable.com).The URL to be “coded” is in a Concatenate formula field and directed to Calendly meeting bookings. They include pre-filled variables with both name and e-mail, as well as Calendly “questions” pre-filled from Airtable data. The problem is that my automations that look exactly the same suddenly come up with different results, with the faulty one leaving out the last pre-filled variable, “a3”.Here’s the correct one (data changed):https://calendly.com/site/book?first_name=Jane&last_name=Doe&email=jane@hotmail.com&a2=rectH64j36cathyrm&a3=recvmhk5664mnx53 And here’s the faulty one, with a3 empty:https://calendly.com/site/book?first_name=Jane&last_name=Doe&email=jane@hotmail.com&a2=rectH64j36cathyrm&a3=The automation that now produces th
Hi all, we’ve been on the legacy Enterprise plan, and our rep just told us they are no longer allowing modifications to the legacy plan so we’ll need to switch to the new licensing models. I don’t think we need the Enterprise plan, but she warned us that we might lose some functions if we downgrade to the Business plan. We checked record limits so understand we might need to delete records in 2 of our major bases. Other than that, I can’t tell what “functions” we might lose. We only have 26 users and most are not builders, but we use it heavily.Has anyone done this and had a good/bad experience? The comparison documentation isn’t the clearest. Is the “Apps Library” worth it? I can’t even tell if we currently have access to it.
I am trying to make a template schedule with predecessors (which I have) then use automations to generate a schedule for each new customer that gets entered. I can get it to copy over tasks, but the automation seems unable to generate them with predecessors.I realize I could just copy the full template table, but ideally all customers would be in 1 table (with groupings) since we use the same team to support multiple clients and I need to be able to see when someone is allocated somewhere else. Right now what we’ve done is add a table just for the clients. Then there is a trigger link there to say that they are starting their project. The Action takes a “find records” and pulls the tasks from the template file. Then I have a repeat for each in list of records, create record and I’ve copied most of the columns down. But when I try to add predecessor it doesn’t like that.
I am the owner of a Pro Account. I have no Omni in the left sidebar of my base, even though I have enabled AI in the settings of the Airtable account. I have looked everywhere and there is no way to integrate this feature. Please help.
Hello, Our office has been using airtable for 4 years and have an Enterprise level plan for our specific organization. We have been using the Send via Outlook action for many of our automations. We have multiple colleague’s outlook accounts connected in all of our Workspaces so that we can send an automation out to a population from the colleague that specifically works with them. Recently, Airtable revoked access to both mine and my manager’s outlook accounts. It gave the error:“Something went wrong with your account. Please try to reconnect.” with a Red Triangle ! next to the account. I reconnected my account successfully by logging into my Outlook. I also notified my manager to reconnect her account on her end, which she did. However, her outlook is still showing as “Something went wrong with your account. Please try to reconnect” on my airtable account and all of my colleague’s accounts. It does not show this error on her account. I had her select “Connect New Account” and try con
My job is changing and I’m going to be managing 3 employees. Each has their own set of tasks, but when one person finishes a task, then the next person can then begin doing their task that is associated. In my head, I have Task field, due date, and who it is assigned to in Table 1. I have an airtable I use for my tasks and when I have a date assigned, it will email me on that day and tell me all the things I have on my task list for that day. I’m wondering if I can do the same thing where when a task is assigned to Taylor, it will email her on the date, as a reminder. And when a task assigned to Betty comes up, it emails her. And the same for Augustine. Is it possible to have it automatically email 3 different people based on the tasks assigned to them? I’m watching training videos, but haven’t found one yet that advises me on the most efficient way to do that. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.Mary
Curious what setups people are using these days.I've seen a few approaches:Zapier/Make automations (works but gets expensive fast) Manual CSV exports from Stripe (painful every month) Custom scripts via Stripe API (requires maintenance)One thing that surprised me when I started looking into this: most Stripe integrations pull gross revenue — but Stripe's processing fees mean your actual net revenue is always lower. So your "MRR" in Airtable ends up being slightly wrong unless you account for fees explicitly.Has anyone solved this cleanly? What's your current setup?
