I am a business specialist for a company and I also teach workout classes for the women in our office 3 times a week. I have a fitness Airtable base where I have added all the exercises I like with a muscle group field. I am trying to find a way to automatically generate a workout to reduce the time I have to spend coming up with a set of exercises. For example, we worked chest and triceps yesterday so today I want to generate a workout that includes x number of exercises with x number being bicep workouts, x number being back workouts, and x being ab workouts.I have very minimal developer experience but I can edit and update pieces of a script if given the outline. 

What are some good software options for automating generation of word docs using data from a record in Airtable? I would like to be able to trigger the automation in an Airtable interface (as opposed to an extension on the data side).

Hello,I think I'm at my limits with trying to get Airtable to function as we really envisioned.  Anyone know the best place to find Airtable consultants with likely programming abilities?  A few of the things we really wanted to do were:1. Create a custom form that goes to contacts and their selections would filter back into our main table but this needs to be very limited with selections as certain items we code on contacts are internal only.2.  A mass emailer.  We use Airtable as a giant database for our independent contractors and code them by areas they cover and preferences.  We have Zapier and an external operations system and would love the ability to integrate all so that we can send a mass email to a designated list of names/email addresses based on a filter that looks nice and inputs the key job data available from our operations software (SQL Server database).  Have struggled with this one and even though we have t

Hello everyone,I’ve created an Airtable to help manage pre-production workflows and am struggling to get what I think is a simple automation running; I’d like that when a record is assigned a contact person (The “Assigned?” field is “Yes”) and given an “Assignee” to carry out this task, that the status of that record be updated in the “Interviewees” table to “Contact Assigned.” This is the automation I’ve set up so far but no matter what I do, I keep getting the “Record does not exist” error.

Hello all.I’m looking to have a column (field) of field agents run/process once a week on a Monday morning. FYI these agents a prompted to go out to the internet and retrieve x information. There are no automation options specifically to do this - am I missing something or how else can this be achieved?Currently I’m thinking about having an automation that changes a field in each record (say make it today’s date), and that is something the field agent is monitoring to kick it off and run. Feels a bit hacky, but if anyone has better ideas please let me know. 

I’m looking at building an interface to streamline inputting some information but before I think about redesigning my current database I just want to check if it’s possible to create an interface that would allow information to be updated across multiple tables?Even more complicated, would it be possible for the interface to react live to automations? To try to give a bit of context I want to have a contract table where the top line contract information is kept - as part of this an automation creates different versions of a product linked to that contract in an editions table…Could an interface handle me entering the contract detail and then have the editions appear ready to be edited?  

I just added a new user as Portal Editor in a portal interface. Let’s call them {USERNAME}After they used the portal, Airtable upgraded their seat to Editor.(I am the only admin, and I know this upgrade was not done by me, so it was done by Airtable) The Admin panel lists the upgrade event as, “{USERNAME} made edits to Interface {INTERFACE}"Now, I know that {USERNAME} didn’t actually edit the interface, because they don’t have base access. And I know that portal editors are *supposed* to be able to change fields via the interface.So what the heck does the upgrade event “{USERNAME} made edits to Interface {INTERFACE}" mean? I can’t find this documented anywhere.Thanks for any insight,Natalka

Hello! I need some help with an automation setup.I’ve created an automation that ends with a loop step, and I would like to add one final action after the loop completes — for example, sending a notification once the last record in the loop has been processed.However, Airtable doesn’t allow adding steps after a loop, so I’m not sure how to handle this.What is the best practice to be notified when the entire automation (including the loop) has finished running?Is there a recommended workaround or pattern for this?Any advice would be very helpful, thank you!!

Automation in AirtableI have a Donations table with the field Donor that contains a Single Line Text field with the donor name in it. I have a Summary table that is linked back to the Donations table using the Link Another Record filed with Allow Linking to Multiple Records to be selected. The linked field in the Summary table has a list of Donors from the Donations table. I need to import the “Resolution” field from Jira Cloud  (Resolved, Won’t Do, Cancelled, etc) -- this is not showing up in the Standard fields, and is not listed on the Help page (https://support.airtable.com/docs/airtable-sync-integration-jira-cloud)Also wondering if there is support yet for custom fields?

I have an interface - created as a blank interface, and I am using  an existing table to enter the info. How do I go about printing this?What I really need is a clear place for me to click into a record and see all the info at once - like a PDF (I should be able to design it, very specifically), I should be able to switch between records very easily, and print easily and neatly. I’m loving interface extensions so far! It’s super easy to get up and running. I have an external website that uses the Airtable API that I think would work much smoother if it were an interface extension and inside AT proper. The only problem is… it’s in Vue, and it’s way too complicated a project to rewrite from scratch in React.Assuming the interface extensions team isn’t planning on making a Vue SDK as well (...unless? 😳), has anyone tried inserting a Vue component into React, specifically inside the Airtable Blocks SDK, where no Vite config file is available?

I’m wondering how or if a Make or Zapier sync model can detect changes on field types that can’t trigger the ‘last modified’ field that the sync is based on. If no editable fields on the record are ever changed, would the sync detect changes on a rollup field?What’s a best practice way to achieve this?

Hello, I want to create a food menu, such that customers can view the food items and other details in the gallery view and can order multiple food items at once by submitting. This will streamline process and give a better customer experience. I will provide a tablet or a link to them to make an order; At present, I have the option to give them a form which is not graphical and they have to make any submissions from their table. The data goes into the grid view and is accessed in the kitchen for processing. Thanks
