Hello!I am running into an issue where the field count is almost maxed out on two tables in my base and I need the ability to add more fields. In both of the tables, there are many fields that are used for reporting/stats. I considered moving all of those fields to another table but it’s not quite working out.I do closing coordination for real estate agents. The two tables in question are the Properties table and Contacts table.The Properties table has records for each contract. The Contacts table has records for each of my agents. Each property record is linked to the agent for that contract in the Contacts table. Reporting in the Properties table is done based on the agent for things like properties under contract, properties closed X amount of days ago, etc. Reporting in the Contacts table is done based on the agent using rollup/formula fields that reference the Properties table for things like average sales

Hi there, when I sync’d my Airtable to my Google Drive, it automatically sync’d with My Drive. Is there a way to sync it in a Shared Drive or to a specific folder within the Shared Drive? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Is there any way to set up an inventory tracking system where someone can scan a QR code, and fill out a form of what they are checking out as well as checking back in?The issue I’m running into is that its fairly easy to create a form with a drop down of what you’re checking out, but when it comes to quantity of what's being checked out, that's where it gets tricky, unless you create a sperate quantity field for each individual piece of equipment, which if you can imagine, you have hundreds of different pieces of equipment, that is extremely inefficient not to mention the form it self would have hundreds of conditional fields. What I had imagined is for example, I scan a QR code, a form comes up, I check out 5 harnesses, 3 lanyards, and 10 beam clamps and click submit. On the user interface, I can look at who checked it out, what equipment they have what department they are etc. When checking back in, they similarly scan a QR code and fill in what they returned. Hi there - I am building some interfaces for my team that collects data in one table that is linked back to another table and I’d like the team to be able to update both in 1 page. Here’s a hypothetical scenario: I have a table of Owners who are all in my dog training class. The Owner table lists all of the things about the owner. I also have a table that has a list of every Dog in my class with information about them. Many Owners have multiple Dogs and I want to associate the Dogs to the Owner. My real-world example is a lot more complicated with hundreds of records. I want to keep my team from bouncing around multiple tables and manually linking records so am hoping to be able to design an interface page that allows them to add new data to another, linked table. I have a script running right now that essentially asks “enter # of dogs” then “create that many blank records in the Dog table” and then “Link those blank records to the Owner Tab

I've set up a very basic automation: Trigger=when a form is submitted; Action=Google Sheets: Append a new row to a spreadsheet. The automation is working correctly, EXCEPT for the fact that the new row is appended at the TOP of the spreadsheet (i.e., row 1, above the header row) instead of at the bottom of the spreadsheet (i.e., under existing rows of data). Is there a way to specify that new rows should be appended at the bottom, below existing rows?Thanks! Heidi

Hello, I am working with inventory management database. I have two different tables where both have unique UPCs and a status selection. I am creating a third table that will only display products from both tables that are ready for sale i.e status is “Listed”. I have created an automation that checks when status is changed to “listed” then find if that UPC doesn’t exist in product table then create a new field with that UPC. I run into duplicate entry problem. *** when I change a product to listed it will pop up in products list which is what I want but when I change the status to something else and then change it back to “listed” it will create a duplicate field which is not what I expect.***  No matter who much I played around with different conditions and values in find section of automation I still couldn’t figure it out. 

I am trying to simply select a record and duplicate it from a filtered view, but for some reason, AT seems to be stuck or frozen.  It is  a bit frustrating.  Anyone else experience the same issue?

Hi all - wondering if anyone can help because I’m struggling! I used Airtable to track customers and business opportunities through two linked tables. Within business opportunities, each potential deal is categorised to a stage (via single select) - either Early Lead, Qualified Lead, Proposal Submitted, Pitching, Closed - Won or Closed - Lost).I can link the tables so that ALL opportunities are attached together, but what I would ideally like is to have a section / field in the Customer record for Current Opportunties (Stage = Lead / Qualified / Proposal Submitted) and Past Opportunties (Stage = Closed - Won or Closed - Lost).I understand that I could link automatically and filter the possible selections based on the Stage but what I want is for that categorisation to happen automatically.Any ideas? I’ve tried (and failed) to come up with an automation to do it!Hanna

I have an Airtable Business account and Enterprise license for Salesforce Data Cloud. Data cloud has a beta connector to airtable, but I have been unable to get them to work. Here is the information the Salesforce connector asks for:I have no idea how to get the schema that is being asked for. Also, it asks for a private access token or OAuth. I am at a loss on how to set this up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to connect my airtable to Salesforce because there are things that are much easier to add to airtable than Salesforce, but that I need to get into Salesforce for use elsewhere.

I have a parent table with a bunch of linked children.On the parent table, I need to be able to click a check box, which will give the user a 30-minute grace period before the record is “Frozen” (it will move out of an interface section and into another one). The children will then move into a view that will sync it to another base, where automation will create a CSV and upload it to a server somewhere.  My thinking was to have a last modified filed field keep track on when the check box was clicked and then add 30 min to that and then let that determine the rest.However I’ve now been looking into the NOW() and it seems quite unreliable for things to do with precision and filtering records into a view to be synced to another base, is also an issue as the date time will only allow me to filter days, but not use time.  I can see how this could potentially be solved with a fairly expensive automation setup, where automation constantly looks for

I have 2 tables:Bookings EventsIn the Events table I have a summary field which concatenates various pieces of data about the event. I want to use this so that, when I am looking at the overall Booking, I can see a summary of all the info for each Events that is part of that Booking. Is there a way to make a photo (which I assume needs to be an "attachment" fied) clickable, where someone can click it to go to a URL? For example, I'd upload a photo of a dog and if they click it, it would go to pets.com.If not, is it possible to insert a clickable text link right underneath a photo?(The Pexels/button extension wouldn't work since I want to upload custom photos, in addition to trying to minimize expenses and complexity.)Thanks! I want a field that tells me if a volunteer shift is full, using the Volunteers Needed number field and the Volunteers Assigned linked records field. If I could write the code in plain English, something like:IF [number of records in Volunteers Assigned] is equal to or greater than {Volunteers Needed}, then display “YES”, IF lesser than, then display “NO” Checkbox field checked/unchecked instead of “YES” or “NO” text would also be cool but not necessary. I can figure out the IF part, but can I get the [number of records in Volunteers Assigned] just in the code, or do I need a Count field to find that and then use that Count field in the formula?

I want to make it simple for my users to copy a URL or long text field in an interface. I can add a button and it can copy the link to the record, or open the url in the record, but not “copy to clipboard”. What am I missing? This seems like a simple function that could be done?

Hi there, I have two tables:One that stores a sale One that stores interactionsEach sale has a date. Each interaction also has a date. There is a client dimension, each client can have multiple interactions. I can link to the interactions in the table where I see the sales. I'd like to calculate how many days are between the last interaction, and the actual sale. In my test, there are three interactions (note: European date notation):11/2/2025, 28/11/2024, 6/12/2024These are shown via a lookup value in my sales table.The sale is formatted as follows: 11/4/2025 08:10If I create a formula to calculate the number of days between last interaction and sales date, I get an incorrect answer: 20189I think this is because the dates are not treated as an array, but as one text string. Anyone an idea how to solve this? Thanks!

Hey guys, I have been seeing this “field color” option on list and grid elements in interfaces. Was wondering if anyone knows how it works? The pop out asks for field configurations, but I have yet to have a field that matches whatever configuration it’s looking for. Is this something up coming or am I just using it wrong? I have a table called table2 which is filled in with a form, and I don’t want the users to have to fill in all their user information every time they use the form.  So, I enabled ‘see who submitted response’ and created an automation which on form submission attempts to match the submitter’s email to an email in the user’s table, which is then copied into a linked email field in table2.  This allowed me to filter the list of entries via the form so users only see their own entries.   However, other linked fields in table 2 do not autopopulate. I was hoping when the automation filled in the email address in the linked field of table 2, all the other linked fields would populate.  Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Hi -  I’m building a project and resource management AirTable for an agency. As a part of this I’d like to be able to show scoped hours against actual worked hours per person per project. As an agency that frequently has a variety of different people working on a variety of projects there has to be some flexibility built into this.  Setting up a scoped hour table per project is simple. Having actual hours that the team enter in rollup  filter by project is easy. Having actual hours filter by person is easy. The issue is filtering by both teammate and project.  Thank you for any help!  

I am in the process of building an order entry and work center scheduling system using Airtable, and I have the base functionality working well.  The basis of the data structure is that Orders are created with one or more Line Items to be produced.  Next, one or more Jobs are created and linked to each line item.  Each Job is assigned to a single Work Center and has a start and end date.I am experimenting with the various views and interface options in Airtable to find a good way to visualize the number of jobs scheduled for each work center by day (or week) for a given time frame, with the goal of identifying if any work centers are overloaded for any given day (or week).  I created a formula column in the Job table that calculates the Year and Week # for each job (ie.  2025-13   for the 13th week of 2025).  This allows me to group/sort/total chronologically by week.The best I came up with so far is a bar chart that has the week number on the Y axis and the Work Cente

Hello I have a column for my item cost and a column with the sales tax I paid. I want to create a formula in the third column that calculates my cost x sales tax percentage and then add the answer to the cost to get total cost. I did Cost * {Tax %} and get an error.
