Is this scenario possible?I want to automate a task on my team in which a team member would create a record and attach a word doc to it. The team member would then fill out a form which allows them to attach the record they just made (or any record via the dropdown that lists all team member-made records). Once they submit the form, it triggers an automation to send a pre-determined Teams message with the record chosen from the form. I successfully created an automation to make part of this happen, but i can’t get it to attach the record (because the message is static and the attachment is dynamic?) Is there a way to make this work??

Hi all, Any help would be appreciated on this one. I'm working on an automation in Airtable we previously used Zapier for to try and streamline some self-fulfilling on-demand educational resources. The way I currently have it set up is in one Airtable base, but two separate sheets. One sheet has an external-facing form for people to order course content through, another sheet has the content listed by name, in zip files or individual files. The names match the form exactly, and I have tried two different methods to get the automation to grab the content from the form sheet based on the name: multiple select and link to another record. Any way I do this it provides all or none, and won't search by name. The content is currently fulfilling best in an Attachments field in a zip file as it ranges from PDF documents to videos to PowerPoint files. The actions I'm using are 'When a form is submitted', 'Find Records', and 'Send an Email'. We are looking to reply to specific Slack messages to update product status. While it looks like it’s possible through Slack conversation IDs, I haven’t found documentation on how to set it up. Does anyone know how to do this without an external automation? I checked the following thread from 2 years ago, but it mentioned Make (an external automation tool) - I don’t believe my company will allow such integrations:

I have been trying to help my son (13) start up his lawn care business.  I'm familiar with, and use airtable regularly for some small tracking.  I love its accessibility, range, and adaptability.  Thought it would be a good fit.  Created an easy to use base with services available (with fees) table, service provided and dates table, and client table.  Then created an invoice table that he can simply add the services provided to certain customers from the "services provided" table.  Works flawlessly.  He has grown the business and uses written invoicing.  Tried to help him save a step by automating the invoice so he could send it as a text to the clients each month.  Page designer creates the invoice.  Is there a way to send the invoice created as a text or email to an email in the invoice? To sum it up, use page designer to create a document.  Send the document via text or email.  Solution needs to be sim

I want to send different people emails containing a link to a form that they can only submit once. Once submitted, if they click the form link to the form again, they wouldn’t be able to do another submission. How do I do this? Ideally, the form would be tied to a record in airtable, and if the status column of the record is no longer “new” and transitioned to “progress” or “finished”, the form would no longer work.

Hello, I seem to be running into a problem where I can't get my automation to uncheck a checked box when certain conditions are met in a linked table. I'm setting up an automation triggered by updating a field in one table, which updates a field on the linked record in another table. I'm using "Find records" to search the linked table based on condition that the record's name/title matches the name/title of the linked record from the source. Essentially, I'm just trying to find the record linked to the updated record.However, when selecting "Dynamic" for the condition value, the name/title field to be used is not selectable, with the pop-up message of "no valid nested values" when hovering over the field. It really seems like this should work, and this error message is cryptic and not helpful.Does anyone understand this "no valid nested values" error?Should I be grabbing linked records to be updated in a different way?

I’m building a database for products that sell on multiple marketplaces (Etsy, Creative Market, and my own website). I have one table for the products and another for the marketplaces. I have URL fields for inputting direct links to product listings (separate fields for each marketplace), and fields for linking the products to the marketplaces they’re listed on.Currently, I have to manually add both the URL and link to the related marketplace, but I’d love to create an automation that updates the marketplace link to include all marketplaces for which the URL field isn’t empty. For example, if a product has only an Etsy URL, it should only link to the Etsy marketplace record. I have a project with a start date, end date, completion date. I want to put the start-end dates on a timeline in one colour and then as an extension from the end date to the completion date if the project over runs.As well as that I want to be able to assign tasks to that timeline linked to the project underneath it on the fly. For each task I have Collection Date/Start Date/Expected Completion Date/Completion Date/Delivery Date. Similar to the task above I want to be able to set the start and expected completion date in conjunction with the project timeline so it cannot be set outside the projects start/end time. I’m using the Outlook Email action to send my emails, because (1) my org uses Outlook, and (2) normal Send Email automations get caught by the spam filter of various Outlook distribution emails that are the recipients of certain automations.In the last month, there have been two different instances of the Microsoft API being down, causing my Outlook Email-based notifications to fail to send. But these emails are sending essential information, and I’d like to be able to do something else (send a Slack, or use the standard Send Email action) if the automation failed. Is there anything in either automations or the various APIs that would support this?

Hello everyone,I've built an automation to update records in Airtable whenever a new row is added to a Google Sheet. I've run all the tests I can think of, but I'm unable to toggle the automation on.What's strange is that it works perfectly when I run it manually. I've also confirmed that the connection between my Airtable and Google Sheets accounts is solid, as I have another automation that successfully creates new rows in Google Sheets from Airtable updates. It just doesn't seem to want to work the other way around.Could anyone help me troubleshoot this? Thank you.  

Hello all. having some trouble. I set up a form with multiple choice questionnaire where each choice has a unique score where the total some based on the answers gives a range where it will determine the reediness of an organization, we are consulting. The scores are then set up to our dashboard where we can determine what path to pursue for their consultation. it seems like I can get the scores to be set up correctly within the form and could use some serious help!

Hi everyone,I’m building my own CRM and want to filter for e-mail domains and create company records based on it. But I do not want to create company records for typical free e-mail-providers like gmx, web or gmail. That’s why I want to filter before running the automation. Can I input more than 1 value into the conditioning “does not contain”? And if so, how? I tried putting a comma inbetween the options but that did not work. And I do not want to setup a condition per domain that should not be included.Thanks for your help!RegardsJonas 

I have a single table with 2 varying date formats, one that is in date format (i.e. 6/30/2025) and another one with single select (i.e. 2025). I’m trying to figure out a way to link the two together, that way when I update the actual date, the year updates accordingly. A lot of times we have multiple people working on the same table, and they update the date column, but not the year. Simplifying this to where the year updates automatically would allow us to keep things consistent. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

I am trying to create an automation that will send a personalized email to a list of recipients. I have a record that triggers automation when matches conditions.I have several records linked to one field of the triggering record that link to the recipients table, where email addresses are stored.I use Find Records to obtain a list of names and email addresses from a linked records.I want to iterate sending Gmail to each of the addresses individually, addressing the person by name and sending the message only to one person at a time.If that is possible, how do I use the input source data in the To: field and in the email body to address one single person - not the list of them at once.If I do not use Find Records to create the input list, then I can only use ID and Name from the linked records and can not pull out their emails from the table where those recipient names, emails and other data are stored, leaving me with useless set of

I want to be able to count the total amount of times all “jobs” has had all “job type”. Example: Job - “Contact Customer” is Job Type - “Enquiring”. If we get a hit the type will change from “enquiring” to “prototype” however I want to log that is was an enquiry permanently and count how many total “enquiring” we have had. Hi, I'm receiving an Airtable Error 429 in Make, even though it's fully OAuthorized and verified. It relates (I believe) to high API usage.I stopped using the Airtable, which should have reset the API traffic; however, the issue is persisting even when I’m not using the Airtable.The issue isn’t on Make’s side, I isolated the error by connecting another Airtable (which worked fine) and then tried connecting the Airtable that isn’t working to my account, and it didn’t work.

I'm trying to setup an automation that sends out reminder emails to a bunch of people. I'm wanting to customize the email to pull information, such as their name and email address, into the automation. However, when I try to input the dynamic data into the email that will be sent out, the only option I have showing up in my "insert values from field" are ID and the primary field in the table. Whereas with most dynamic setups, I'm able to pull data from any field in the table. Why are the other fields not available? Is there a workaround for this? One variable I need to use is “Tag” that links contacts to an area of interest (nature, sports, food, etc). Since I use the Tag classification in many places throughout the base (currently 8 tables), I have made it into a Linked Record instead of a separate Single Select for each table. Yes, I know that if I'd use Single Selects this would work without issues :).The problem is I can’t figure out how to use a Linked Record as a Dynamic condition in a Find Record step.
