Hello Airtable Community,I am hoping that someone can help me out with an automation that I am trying to build.  I am new to Airtable and am figuring things out as I go.  Well, trying to at least.We are a small behavior services company that works with adults with intellectual disabilities.  Since our inception, I have been tracking how many hours we provided to each of our clients in Excel but it was too clunky so I have started using Airtable instead.  So far I am impressed but I am having some challenges getting all the things I have pictured into my head to become reality in Airtable.So far I have built a base that has a couple of important tables.  One that has the necessary information that I need to track for our clients including what services they qualify for, a weekly tracking sheet that captures each clients hours delivered for that week and a rate sheet which then can tell me what those hours translate to in terms of billing payments.  I also figured

Hi there,In order for me to create a junction table. How can I get certain data from one table to another? I am looking to get all submissions, team, month, points awarded.   I would like it to move over these fields and when a new recorded is added for it to add those as well Is this possible?

Hello, I have a primary table of records and a secondary table to request updates to the primary table. I want a column in the secondary table that lists all of the columns in the primary table that someone could select to update. Preferably, this would be a list that is linked to the actual column names in the primary table so that the list updates if I update a column name in the primary table. Is this something that AirTable can do?  TIA!

I WANT THE DETAILS OF THE SUBMITTED FORM TO APPEAR ON GOOGLE SHEETS… I KEEP ON TESTING THE AUTOMATION AND IT POPULATES IN GOOGLE SHEETS BUT WHEN I TURN IT ON TO WORK AUTOMATICALLY NOTHING HAPPENS… WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?   

I have an AI automation step creating an summary and searching the web, but after working fine a few times i suddenly got this error: 'Automation failed: failed to access web page via internet' Does anyone know why this happens? Or what i can do to make sure it doesn’t happen?

 I have generated a form from a base that is working fine. When it’s submitted it allocates the user a member number. The Base is I denticle but depending on the agent it generates a unique number so there are 3 bases, Plus the master base (As I call it) When the form is submitted it automatically generates an email that sends the member number to the person generating the form. This works perfectly thanks to the support received in this forum.What I now need to do is generate an order form. I have done the form but can't work out the automation. Once the first form is completed and the email is sent, I need to send a Second email form unique that has the persons membership number and Name. They then have to fill out information specific to the order and make a payment. They then submit the form which I want to automatically fill in the blanks in the base. Hello!When uploading images/attachments, the images are being put all into the same “Attachment” cell. I am trying to find a method that forces each image to get its own row in the table instead of being grouped together in a single cell.Can anyone help me out with this?Thanks,Doug.

Hi all, We are a small real estate agency, using Airtable for our property database which is very nice. We face an issue and want to ask for solution, we need to create either 1) Listing or 2) Single property particular to our client from our property database, right now we only selected the properties we want to send to our clients and manually type it on Word, it is waste of time and easy to have typo. May I ask how to simply from from the selected properties in our database … e.g. selected 10 properties and then print the selected in a listing ? And also the option to print the selected to 10 individual single property particular? I found the built-in document creation app is not powerful to do that… any suggestion of app or service should we use ? Don’t mind to subscribe more service to do… Appreciate for the recommendation… Best, Tony

Hello, I am new to Airtable and I am looking for a simple solution to this problem if possible. I am looking to be able to upload a PDF into Airtable (it would be 1 page). Once the PDF is uploaded, I would like to extract the title and put it in the name column next to the document in the same row automatically. I know there are software’s out there that can handle this type of thing like Parseur, but the documents might not all look exactly the same (or the titles might not always be in the same spot every time). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi all, Is it possible to prevent the creation of record under certain condition during form submission?Like upon button click, there will be a check against the database for certain condition and throw back error message. 

I have a base that is largely used for planning.I have a lot of automations. Often one action sets off a chain of 4-5 automations.Because I use this base for planning, records get deleted often as part of my workflow (i.e. I change my mind).An unfortunate, unexpected irritation with this is that reasonably often, an action will set off an automation > I delete the record before the automation is finished (these are usually simple automations "if Record A Field A = x, update Record B field A" - most are not long and convoluted).And so, I have a significant and frequent number of "failed automation: record not found" emails and notifications.Is there any way to prevent this happening?

Howdy good people!Hoping someone can advise with a product code lookup scenario. Our team sells training subscriptions. New subscribers submit airtable forms to notify of catalog onboarding. Each subscription is tied to a certain product (9 product types currently). Product name auto-populates in a multi-select 'Product' field upon form submission in an 'Offline Subs' table. Each product has a set unique code stored in another table (Product Codes). We need to auto lookup and match the product name with corresponding product code and auto populate this in a 'product code' field in the 'Offline Subs' table (see attached). Playing around with lookup fields and can't see an automation option, imagining that this will require a script to achieve?I don't have any coding/scripting experience so hoping someone can share a similar successful script or use case experience. Any assistance greatly appreciated. 🙂

I have a very simple automation that runs every 15 mins. It finds rows from a table that have data in a specific column and then uses a repeating group to send a slack message to each of the channels listed in those rows it found. This typically works 90% of the time but usually a handful of times a day it errors out for Slack API rate limited. Sometimes it errors out with 4 groups that it found but will also error out with 1 group. Experiencing similar issues related to the repeating groups for slack messages.  Any help is appreciated.

We are currently using dedupe to identify duplicates in our records.Since our records is growing, we need to do it in automated way everytime there's a new record coming in.Here's the scenario:When a new property address will be added, there should be an automation that will automatically check the current records that we had, and it will tag this new property address if it's a duplicate or not.We just want to have an accurate solution if there's a new entry coming in, it will automatically mark or tag as duplicate.You can just imagine a Google Spreadsheet, if there's a duplicate it will suddenly highlight the column with duplicates.Do you think it's possible?

Hello there, I want to create a form in Softr, connected to my Airtable DB, where my employees will input their availabilities for “next week”, so I need to generate automatically the “next week” concept. I have created a table “weeks”, with the following columns :Week number Year To generate the concept of “is next week”, I want to create a date field “today” that updates automatically on a daily basis, and then in the field “is next week”, put a formula. However, I don’t know how to automate the update of the date at “today’s date” . Can you please help ? :) 

Hey there, I am currently building some automation scripts in conjunction with my API. For performance reasons i would like to call multiple promises in a Promise.all function. However it seems that whenever I try to make an array of promises that by calling my async function (without await) that it already executes the fetch call to my API. Which shouldn’t happen.  let promises = records.map((record) => {  let firstPromise = asyncFunctionWithFetchCall1(record);  let secondPromise = asyncFunctionWithFetchCall2(record);  return [firstPromise, secondPromise];});let results = await Promise.all(promises.flat());here firstPromise and secondPromise already execute the fetch call within the functions.Has anyone experienced this before and is there a fix for this? Thank

Hello everyone,I'm running into a very frustrating issue with the Google Drive Sync feature and I'm hoping the collective experience here can help, since support is currently unresponsive.My Goal: I want to set up a one-way sync from a Google Sheets file to a new table in my Airtable base, to use that sheet as a data "dictionary".The Problem: I am on the Team plan. When I start the process from Airtable (+ Add or import -> Google Drive), I successfully authenticate my Google Workspace account. However, the next window, which should show me the files in my Drive to select from, is always completely empty.I have already performed all the troubleshooting steps I could find, but with no success.Troubleshooting Checklist (What I've Already Tried):✅ Plan Confirmed: My base is correctly on the Team plan. ✅

I created an automation to notify an assigned person, however when an assigned person gets an email, the previous assigned person also gets CC’ed with the same notification. I am using a multiple users field.  Created a simple workflow trigger that listens for that field to be updated and sends an email. It works great when only 1 person gets assigned. However when a 2nd person gets assigned it triggers an email for the 2nd person and creates CC for all the previous people. I want to only notify each person once, not multiple times for each assigned person.

Hey,I have an extension in Airtable that creates a file for each record within a Table. Is it possible to download each file as a pdf and populate a file field in the same Airtable record? Each file generated by the extension doesn't have a unique URL (that I can find) to that records extension file making it difficult to download automatically. Please help!Thanks
