Hello Airtable Community!I’m designing a system to collect structured KPI data (10 standardized metrics) from independent businesses. Phase 1 (Pilot): 16 businesses entering data via Airtable forms Phase 2: Expand to 60 businesses Phase 3 (Scale): 600+ businesses Goal: Aggregate all submissions into a single dataset for analysis and benchmarking.My core questions: Can Airtable handle this scale of data collection and access control? If so, what architecture would you recommend? One base where businesses submit via forms, with Interfaces restricting visibility to only their data? Or multiple bases that sync into a central analytics base? Thanks in advance for your insights!— Walker

I have 3 tables:Table 1: Work productivity data from our delivery management system. This has the employee’s email and date of shift.Table 2: Employee Data from our HR system. This has the employee’s email address and employee ID.Table 3: Shift data from our clock in/clock out system. This includes the employee ID, hours worked, and date of shift. There is a way to link all three as they share sufficient fields. I would like to match the productivity data for a specific employee on a specific date to the hours work within Table 1. So I have hours worked in there.For example, I’d like in Table 1:Bryan - bryan@hotmac.com - employee ID: 113495 - 34 tasks - 4.73 hours worked. I can link each table, but I’m stuck on how to match the shifts on the correct date between Table 1 and Table 3. Any help is really welcomed. So, we have calendars imbedded in our website and have color-coded different activities to make it easier for the parents to look for certain things.  This is the grid view.And this is the embedded calendar.  But the colors aren’t translating.  Everything on the calendar is the same color unless you open the activity up. 

Currently in airtable we have each project as a line item, and we have multiple columns that note milestone dates:Brief Start DateKick-off DateIn Market DateOut of Market DateIs there a way to create a gantt view (either in the base or in an interface) where each project bar is segments to show the different working phases of the project using the milestone dates above to create the segments?

I created a database but not the way it is suppose to be, so now I created one with the same fields but it is relational now as i did not know how to build one. So, now I need to move all the data into the new one. Can someone tell me how, i saw something about syncing but I cant find a way to do it. thanksRose

Hello,Our team has built out a form for users to sign up for training from a few categories. We do this by using separate fields with different rules to pull data by the training’s specific name. All of the trainings feed in from a Google Calendar, and the form feeds in from a grid of those calendar events.The form works great when used normally! However, we had a user experience frustration when these fields would not allow them to select multiple trainings. We discovered that in incognito mode (only tried in Chrome so far), users could select 1 training per category, but when selecting multiple would recieve a “Cannot see this data” error.Interestingly, users can select the same named training (differing dates) with no issue. As soon as they choose a training with a separtate name, they recieve the same error.

Hello, setting up airtable for the first time.  We are a nonprofit looking to track our funds that support our grants.Currently we are using multiple worksheets in excel.I am trying to figure out where to start. I have imported the Fund names and Contact information(Funds).  The next tabs we have are for our investment returns and fees which contains our fund name, contributions, admin fees, investment returns, disbursement amounts and ending balance. We have a worksheet for each year.The common link is the fund name in Funds.  Should I create a table for each year and link it to the funds table by the fund name?  What would be the best way to view the Funds table and see the budget information for each year.Hoping this makes sense, any helps is appreciated.   

I am using the new form builder and want to filter the values of a dropdown field, Product, based on the value of another field, Designer, on the same form.Although I found the "filter records by a condition" option, I cannot see a way to use the Designer field's value as the condition for the filter. Any help appreciated.

Hello. I’m getting started on a database that should hold an asset registry for properties. I need some help if someone can help me navigate through this. I can start by telling you what database I need, how I want the equipment listed out and ways to automate fields. Please let me know, serious inquires only. 

I have 3 tables: A, B and C that are linked A→ B → C.  All child records are one (parent) to many (child).  Is there a way to have A pull in unique C records?  I can pull in a list of C records into A by using a lookup field.  However, this pulls in duplicate C records.  If I use a rollup field in A with an Arrayunique formula, it converts all of the C records to text values.  

Hello,I’m updating a form we use to provide training for our users and would like to create a more user-friendly design. Is there a way to customize Airtable forms so that users can choose between a “list view” and a “calendar view” when signing up? Below is a screenshot of our current forms list view.If that is possible, as a follow-up, is there a way to add a trigger question within the form that determines which view (list or calendar) is displayed based on the user’s selection? 

Beginner here, first post - certainly not the last.  What I am needing seems like it should be simple, but the solution is evading me.What I'm looking to implement is a way to find the total number of rows (volunteers) from table A and write that into table B once a week so I can track the total number of volunteers over time.I have linked both tables but no matter what field I try to run the COUNTALL on, the result always seems to come back a 1.  Ideally, I'd like to use an automation so that this total is pushed to the history table once per week.  Sure could use some help here.TIA,Dan 

I used the .CSV extension to upload a file into a base, but the data didn’t populate into the cells correctly. I’d like to restore the table to its original state without creating a completely new base from a snapshot.My idea is to make a snapshot, then copy and paste the earlier version of the table back into the base. The field types match, and I’ve already removed any groupings, sortings, or filters.Is there anything else I should watch out for before doing this? It seems like a quick fix, but I want to be sure I’m not overlooking something.

Hi! Scope: New Hire Form Add New Hire DetailsUpdate New Hire DetailsDescription:Want to create a new hire form where new hires are able to fill out their details, and a copy of the form can be sent to them. The form should have an editable link (similar to Google Form edit response function), so that they are able to modify different parts of the fields.I've only seen prefill forms in usage of simple database, or for reservation purposes, not so much as complex as an employee database where multiple fields can be modified. Thanks so much!

We've been relying on view naming conventions to monitor syncs, but is there is a reporting feature or another data-driven solution that lists all of the sync activity coming out of a base? - List of Views that are synced to another base.- List of Tables that contain a synced View.- List of external destination tables synced from a given source table. (this is currently possible for any single view through reviewing the sync settings, but looking for a consolidated view) The specific use case is consolidating bases that have been built by various users. One goal is to eliminate having multiple sync views coming out of one table, but also to develop a roadmap to optimize tables across all of the bases once we're in the same workspace.thanks!

I run a site that lists different drink menus (https://brewmenuus.com/), and I’m curious if anyone here has tried structuring this type of data in Airtable.The challenge is keeping items organized with details like categories, nutrition info, and updates without it becoming messy. Do you suggest using linked tables, automations, or maybe a custom form setup for easier updates?Any suggestions or examples from your experience would be really helpful.

Hello, I apologize in advance, airtable is very new to me. I am coming from an MS Access world so trying to figure out the best approach to our setup.We currently have a spreadsheet with 10+ tabs.  Basic information (Contact) on one tab then the other 10 tabs relate to this contact tab.  Various relationships from Investment returns for various years and fees to budgeting.My thought is to create a base.  A table for the Contact information.  Then a table for each of the other (tabs).  I know I can link them using the link feature.But I’m thinking forward to any reporting or interfaces that I build.  To be able to report on the contact info from one table, the investment return from another and the budget from another how is this done?I’m used to using a primary key and joins in access to link these together.  In airtable do I have to link every table to each other and then create a table pulling various links in?  Seems like a crazy amount of work

Hi I’m having trouble figuring out how to properly set up a kanban.This is for contractor scheduling. I have the kaban connected to a table source called Repair Jobs. It’s then stacking fields by Assigned Contractor, with some visible fields, coloured and sorted by status. The purpose is to have an “empty” column where jobs can be dragged to contractor columns, and assigned to those contractors. I want to be able to have a drop down select for different days of the week, or a date picker. That way the admin can select “Monday”, see all the unassigned jobs, and fill up a contractors current day. In 80% of situations they would be looking at it in the context of “today”, but would also want to move forward in time to check future days. The problem with this one, is that if I use the drop down filters for “Mo

Hi All,I want to create a tennis league and publish it on my webstite which I created in Webflow. The database is to be dynamic, information will be added using a airtable form. There will be 16 players in the league and they will play each others. The goal is to get the current league table and ranking. On the page I want to display the results of all the players' matches (example - 6:2 3:6 7:5), the current position and the amount of points collected so far. I have a form for my team that includes an attachment field for images. Every so often, someone uploads an unnecessarily large image and it triggers out-of-memory errors in my Pipedream workflows that run when the form is submitted.It would be wonderful if I could add limits to how big attachments can be. I see that this has been requested before and I’m assuming it’s still not possible, but if anyone has suggestions for how to deal with this issue, please let me know!  

Hello AT community,I am seeking advice, general or specific, on achieving frictionless label printing for employees using our base.Our current setup is fully functional, but the process is clunky for users. We have Dymo LabelWriter 4XL's set up at various stations, and we have labels designed in Page Designer. Our receiving station, for example, has a Receiving Interface, and labels need to be created for everything we receive.To print a label, the user has to click a button in the grid element of the interface for the line just received, which redirects them to the record in the underlying base (already a bad situation), then click a button that takes them to page designer, then click 'print' 3 or 4 times to get a label to come out.My background is in warehouse distribution, where our purpose-built warehouse management software would simply print a label as soon as something is received, that is the level of functionality we want to mimic, or come close

I’d like to use AirTable to help prioritize a set of ~50 project ideas, soliciting input from 10-15 stakeholders.I’d like to let users rank the projects in terms of Customer Value and Strategic Alignment (fit to our organization) using a simple semantic scale (very low, low, medium, high, very high).A very efficient way to do this is through Airtable’s Kanban views, where they can drag each idea into a column representing that attribute, going once through the list for Customer Value, and again for Strategic Alignment.I’ve looked at examples of how to do group voting in AirTable through the templates and discussions in this forum, but they all seem to suggest using forms to capture input, sometimes one candidate at a time. This would require voters to open and submit 50 different form submissions.Is there a way to provide each voter their own Kanban view of the projects that allow them to drag projects around and have those actions save out voter-

I am trying to figure out how to build a workflow that would allow multiple user to approve a creative asset before status changes to approved.Right now I'm using a user column to assign an approver.  Then the record viewer interface to approve using a button tied to a status change automation. Ideally I would like to be able to assign multiple approvers and somehow only use the automation, once ALL approvers have approved. Thank you in advance

Bit of a messy title, I couldn’t think of a good way to phrase this question…I have a table that stores inventory items, each item can have one of three status’ “Available”, “Gifted” or “Sold”. I’m trying to create a view that only returns the name of an item where there are none with a status of Available. So for example the view shouldn’t return this item:But it should return this one Is this possible to achieve and if so, how?
