I want to sync PDF files via Google Drive however this method renders a low res PDF and the important copy that I need the reviewer to approve is not readable.Is there a way to stop this or is loading the attachments manually the only option?Thanks!

Is there a way to search for records based on historical data, specifically transitional statuses? Say a record was in Status A, went to B, went to C, went to D. Is there a way to see all records that ever entered status B

Hello community,I am using Airtable to process data coming from an architectural model to summarize information about parts.  Currently I am using a base as a template and duplicating this base each time I want to import a new list, as the lists are sometimes up to 10,000 rows long and I feel like it's not workable to just keep importing new lists into the same base.I have found the CSV Import extension to be far superior to the standard csv import functionality, and especially like that for the same csv column heading structure, the extension remembers my field assignments.  However, when I duplicate the base, the CSV extension disappears and along with it, the field assignment memory.  Does someone know if it's possible to somehow duplicate the extension along with the duplication of the base?  My csv has around 300 columns and probably 20 have custom column names that the CSV import extension doesn't automatically recogniz

I get it - really I do, if you want all your records in a table to be referred to as something else.But I want to just fix mine to go back to being 'records' instead of 'events'

Hi all,I can't keep my work partner from accidentally adding options to our single select fields. He forgets they are single select fields and just types in his value—often misspelling them. Is there a way to prevent this? One that doesn't depend on me somehow managing to finally get him to remember? I sure hope so. TIA for your thoughts!

Last year I designed a School Newsletter system. One of the columns is the Newsletter Banner which changes for every campaign. It's a png image. I am using Airtable, Softr and MAkeLast school year, I was able to get the image URL. The output from MAke was giving me all I needed including the direct URL. HelloMy company builds complex machines with many parts. A lot of these parts, I need to buy and keep track of delivery dates and whether or not the item has been deliverd.What is the best way to set up an airtable to show all the delivery dates for all items across all my projects?If possible in one interface?Lets say I have three projects running. I need to be able to quickly manually add products to any of these projects and see all delivery dates in one calender so I have an overview. But I also need to see each project seperatly Do I create seperate tables for all these projects? (this may lead to many tables)Best practises here?

As part of my workflow, I have a view in my base where I put in all my tasks for the day, which the populates my calendar. To make this work, I have "Date Start" and a "Date End" fields with the date and the start/end time of the record so that it'll be placed correctly on my calendar. This works great but has caused an issue with creating another view that I need, a daily summary.I want to have a view that groups my records by date so that I can see how much I earned that day, how much I worked, and other stats. I can filter my records to show me this information for a single date without any issue. But I'd like to have a view that shows all my days work grouped together to be able to build a few extensions around the resulting data. The problem is that AT will group based on the entire field information, so including the time, and not just the date (see attached screenshot).The only "workaround" I can think of is to have a third date field with just the date, but thi

I am aware there is no way to "overwrite" data but I'm trying to figure out how else I might accomplish what I need.I have a very basic 2-table base.  Table 1 is "Call Log" and Table 2 is "Users".  I want to set up a default set of fields (location, type, job) that apply to specific people.  For example, "Bob" might default to Ohio, Office, Data Entry, whereas "Linda" might default to Kentucky, Warehouse, Stocking.  But as I do the weekly logs, their job scopes and locations might change.  If everything is added to the Call Log table from lookups (pulling the defaults) I know I can't directly edit them.  What would be a best-approach (I'm not against some scripting or automations either!) on handling when I maybe want to track that Bob is in Indiana and Linda is in Ohio.Thanks!

My end goal is to associate the Slack ID of the user that submitted each record in my primary base.I currently have a 'User' column in my primary base that associates each record with an "owner". I'd like to be able for the record to automatically pull the Slack user ID for each User from a "Team Roster" table that holds the User and Slack information for each team member (or maybe there's a better way).The only way I have found to do it so far is to use a 'Lookup' column in the primary base that references the "Team Roster" instead of using a 'User' column which ties the record to their Airtable account. How would I be able to put two look up fields (one displaying a percentage and the other displaying a $ amount) into the same column while maintaining their exact values (not making them into just normal numbers and keeping 1 as a % and the other as a $).Any help would be greatly appreciated,Bart

Hi all,We have an AirTable base for our marketing team that has multiple "sub-bases" leading into one "master base". The thought of this is to have everyone keep their work flow in their base and have all the information on the team in one place with the master base. We do have an enterprise account which is why this question pop's up, why can't we edit fields in the master base. Is there a way to create a time slot, similar to when you add a calendar a pop up appears and you can choose a date. I've aded a screenshot of what I've created, which is a single select option, But would like it to be more flexible. So, if you choose 9am it will autofill a a two hour duration, 9-11 or if you chose 8am it will autofill 8-10 am.Thanks. le.

I am attempting to make a database for my social media.  I am having trouble with the best way to organize it.  I struggle with how I can put things in DATE order, We typically do Month and Week # so we don't have to change the date each year, but then it doesn't go in month order.I would like one grid with all our marketing ads, then some sort of way to separate for each type by date (either as a gallery or grid).  My questions are- What is the best way to sort by date?  If I have 1 row listing multiple dates, can I have another grid or form listing each week/date individually?For the image listed, I would like some sort of sorting to separate by date:Example:First week of the month SpecialJune Special

There are multiple forms because some require different information than others. What's really messy is that Students has one linked record to Classes for each type of class!When a form submission is received in Signups, an automation is triggered based on the kind of record received. I am wondering if anyone is able to assist with a couple of questions. 1.  When adding an attachment into the 'attachment' field I am simply adding from files and attaching a word document.  I am then having issues once I send the email with the attachment not coming through in the correct format.  It seems to only be coming through in email as a small photo that is quite blurry.  I am wondering if there is any work around to this and how I can have an email sent with the correct attachments - preferrably the word document.Above is my current airtable.  Each date has 3 specific shifts 0100/0800/1630.  I am wondering what I need to do in order to have 3 emails go out each day with the attachment (from question 1) as well as t

On Table A I have a linked record field that allows multiples. It pulls records from Table B. These records on Table B include a Date field. Records on Table B are not necessarily entered in chronological order. For example:Table B Record 1 - 1/1/2023Table B Record 2 - 3/1/2023Table B Record 3 - 2/1/2023On Table A, I'm trying to pull the most recent record linked using a Lookup field with the "limit the number of items shown" option turned on and set to "last 1" but I believe this is giving me the date of the linked record that was most recently created rather than using the date field of the record to give me the most recent. I believe I could play around with an automation that could accomplish this for me but before diving into that, is there a more simple way to achieve this?

Hello,I have records of 4 thousand rows in Airtable, with around 100 views and about 50 columns. Two of them have attachments fields where we store pictures.Every month, we need to create a new table organized by month, and we want to retain the previous month's views and settings, but the data itself is not required. Currently, I use the duplicate table feature without including records, but it has become quite problematic and slow. I am wondering if the Airtable team is working on improving their servers to address these issues.I need some assistance. Is there any other method or workaround to synchronize all the views and create a new table for this month without including previous records?Thank you.

Hallo community,I have two tables: "Bestellungen", "Bestellung Positionen".Table "Bestellungen" has 3 Lookup fields "Artikelnummern", "Anzahl", "Einzelpreis". So the values will be not correct sorted like in a table "Bestellung Position".I think, it is a big bug in Airtable.P. S. If it is not possible to sort automatically in "Bestellungen" table, how should I sort it in relative table "Bestellung Positionen", which filter should I use. I know how to sort Table "Bestellung Positionen" by a field with a type "Created time", then the result with be ok, but I still need an option to order it how I want... And table "Bestellungen" should automatically bring me the same order.Thanks in advance.
