I have the Airtable Pro Plan and have two timeline views in my base that I can access on my desktop, however when I try to view my timelines in the Airtable app on my iPad a notification pops up that says that the view cannot be displayed in the iOS app yet. Is it possible to view it somehow? Thank you.

Hi all. I am new to Airtable. I would like to create tasks list for my team members. Each team member can only create, edit and delete ONLY their own tasks list, and there will be a master list of all tasks list. What is the best way to approach this? Because from my understanding I can only create permission for Workspace and Base. How about permission for certain tables? Thinking of to combine two tables (each table one team member’s tasks list).

I am trying to set up a reminder to do something on the first day of the second quarter after an event. So, for example, said event happens on February 6 (or January 27, or March 30, etc.), the reminder triggers on July 1. Likewise, if said event happens on October 20, the reminder triggers on April 1. I’m familiar with switch statements, but there has to be an easier way than writing out a switch for every day in a year (plus I also need to repeat the reminder for the third and fourth quarters, so that would be 3 times!) I was wondering if it is possible to export a specific view from a tab in Airtable as CSV directly from the scripting block. I’m a little bit rusty with JS and have been trying to import stuff and I learnt that AirTable doesn’t allow any imports. Could anyone give me some directions on how to transform a view into CSV and authenticate unto my S3 Bucket? I’ve seen multiple threads related to this, but was wondering if there were a modern solution.

Since the native functionality of building reports and dashboards is very limited in Airtable what is your favourite external tool for this?

Hi Folks, Is there a way to create a field that lists all the records the link to that record? In Salesforce this would be easy, its part of the parent-child relationship and a related list. I’m having trouble wraping my head around what the corollary to that would be in airtable.

I’d like to see the inside of that script/app so I could get a more “complex” exemple and I’d like to add the possibility for a user to add more than one value to search and get a list of records. Hi all, I have two formula columns, both pointing at one date field (“Date”). The formulas in the two fields are: DATETIME_FORMAT(Date,‘W’) and WEEKNUM(Date) For some reason, the week number in the WEEKNUM column is always 1 more than in the DATETIME column. So if the DATETIME column translates the week as 11, the WEEKNUM column translates it as 12 and so on. Does anyone know why the week numbers are not lining up?

I am trying to get a formula to display the time of a date field, in 12 hour format. Example: I have a date field set to 03/18/2022 6:00pm. I have a formula that is pulling just the time of that field : TIMESTR({Start}). This produces 18:00:00. But I’d love to get this in a simple: 6:00pm, or even 6:00. I tried this wild formula, but that produces an error: DATETIME_FORMAT(TIMESTR({Start}),"hh:mm"). I’ve also looked around at some of the other solutions, but most require 2-3+ fields to get the number. Is there a simpler, “all-in-one-step” formula to achieve this?

We own a company where we have a Done for you team member placement service and we want to track if they have filled in their End of the Day report every day. Right now I have: 1 sheet where we collect our team members names 1 sheet where we collect the EOD reports I would love to automate the manual work of finding out who DIDN’T filled in the EOD report by the end of the day (11:45PM) so I can follow up with them the day afterwards. I tried the automation, but I get a bit stuck here. Can someone help? :slightly_smiling_face:

I am looking for that type of report or list in my account dashboard, and in the specific base that I am trying to pull that list from. Any idea if there is something simple that displays this type of information? Thanks.

So I have a base with 2 tables - one containing the funding round details (FRD) which includes name of Startup, amount and investor And another table solely for investors - which I wish to import data from Investors column in FRD table. Now, the investor in FRD is input as a long text which is comma separated. I wanted the Investor table to automatically import this data from investor column - and import it into separate rows - with startup name on the side. I know something like linked record exists, but even there I have to manually select the investor - whereas I simply copy and paste data from the net, thats why I want the investor column data to automatically be imported in the other table. How can I make it happen? Sharing link for sample base for your reference, please guide.

We have Enterprise account and I’m trying to do date ranges in Calendar/grid views - is that possible in Enterprise or only in Pro? I would think Enterprise account has all the features that Pro has, right?? Thanks!

I’m pretty sure I ain’t the only one that desperately needs this integration. I would like to have google maps with a navigation option because I’m using Airtable for managing my freight business, so I would like my driver to have google maps view based on my PU and DEL details. Also I would like to have a direct link, that will direct collaborators to google map if they click on that (maps view) or something like that. Or something like that already exists? lol

I have a table with many thousands of coordinates. I would like to search these data points by city or state or country but I only have the pairs. Does anyone know whether the Maps app can return such data? Alternatively, does anyone have any solutions other than the Maps app? Thank you!

I have written a payroll system in React.js. Using airtable as the database and netlify as hosting for my web app. When in development, I run in my localhost and I can update my records without any error 502. But when I deploy my production to netlify, it gave api update records error 502. Any helps will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m using the formula below to generate a date, where “Nights” is the number of nights a short term renter is staying, and “End Stay” is the date generated by the formula: DATEADD({Begin Stay}, Nights, ‘days’) When I try to use the formula generated (“End stay”) date in a Calendar (for “end date”), I get this error: The above fields cannot be displayed because “Begin Stay” and “End Stay” have configurations that are not compatible. I have formatted both fields have identically. I read in past messages that using DATEADD generated dates in calendars was possible, so I’m trying to locate my error. Is the fact that “Begin Stay” is in the formula for “End Stay” the issue? I’m a newbie – any help is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to create a mentoring application. So it has : Users Mentors adding their availability slots ( as Date/Time) Mentees seeking mentoring sessions (as Date/Time) Based on a match from step 3 above, send email with google meet link So far Ive been able to setup 1 as a table. Also 2 and 3 above as forms. For the 4 point above, how can I setup a table with Mentor, Mentee and the Date/Time where availability equals the requested time frame ?

I have a column in Airtable with multiple select field, I am trying to get Zapier to “FIND RECORD” from this multiple select field and return if it contains “Shopify”, the results will be “TRUE”. It should then update a google sheet with a checkbox “TRUE”. The multiple select field has value: Shopify, Woocommerce, Booqable I have been reading other posts and article, but couldn’t find the formula for “if contains”. Thank you in advanced for helping.

Hi there, I think I’m looking for a combination of VLOOKUP and CONTAINS, but I’m not quite sure. Basically I have two tables: Expenses: description - cost - category “papa johns 34532” - $34 “something from Facebook ads” - $54 “Hotel so and so” - $54 Rules: Lookup string - category “papa johns” - restaurant “Facebook” - advertising “hotel” - travel What I’d like to do is link the two tables, so that the expense table will have the category field automatically populated… IF the description contains a string found in the Rules table, then set the category to category of that table. I’m not quite sure how to go about achieving this though?

I have a form with the options of 1) firstname 2) surname 3) email. This goes into a table, let’s call it table1 I have another synced table (in the same base) from another base (let’s call it "table2). The primary field in table2 is a userID, not the email. I would like to look up the emails of the form submissions from table1 in table2. Ideally, if the email from table1 exists in table2, I would like the record from table2 to be linked to the appropriate one in table1. If this isn’t possible, I would like to adjust a property in table1 to “X” or “Y”. I haven’t found a way to get this to work, either with linking the tables or with automations. I would like the linking to happen automatically, and it doesn’t seem to work (I think) because the email isn’t the primary field. I thought it should be possible with an automation, i.e. “on form submission, look up email address in synce
