For especially sensitive data such as credit card numbers, it would be great to be able to add an extra layer of encryption (e.g AES) by encrypting that data before it enters an Airtable sheet/base from the API. I found an app called Encryptor from Integromat. Do you know of any other programs that can simply encrypt and decrypt text/numeric data through an API?

Anyone have the same issue? I can type maybe a few words and then it freezes. I exit and restart and maybe on the 5th try it lets me finish the comment and post. I am working in Chrome. Many colleagues are also in Chrome and have no issues.

So I have thousands of images stored as attachments within a base. Each record in the base has 1 image attached to the “Image” column I have created. When I export my base to a CSV file, instead of giving the URL it gives the internal image name followed by the url IN ( ). I used this guide to create my current setup. I am trying to take get a list of words that are unique across the “sentences” column as the “Word array Rollup).” So currently “Sentences” under the “Calc” sheet is taking values from “Sentences” on the “Sentences and words” sheet. The rollup “@WordArray” then creates an array from the values in that linked list. Finally, back on the first sheet I want to take unique words from the rollup “@WordArray” on the “calc” sheet. Hi! I have a Lookup column that gets one or more images from another table. Now I need to get each image link in its own column. I already have the formula to extract the images URLs, but how do I get each of the URLs in a separated column? Thanks!

I use Evernote for daily notes of all activities for each week in one daily note. I use an Evernote template each week to start the process for the week and include various URL links to outside programs (i.e., Google Drive files, etc.) that I use regularly. I want to create a URL link in my Evernote template to link back to an Airtable base for call logging. I cannot determine a method to find or create a link for a specific Airtable base that I would paste in the Evernote template for regular use. Any ideas or best past practices? Hi, I am wondering if there is any way to display a single record with multiple dates in the calendar view? In the calendar view it says I can’t so is there any separate app or work around for this? What we’re trying to do is create a delivery schedule where our sales team will fill out a form which they put in date, name and select a delivery slot. For large jobs, they can select multiple delivery slots so that the delivery team is not overbooked on a certain date. But when they select multiple delivery slots, these count as a record with multiple dates so they don’t display. I checked other threads however they’re quite old now and wasn’t able to figure out a solution. Thanks!

I’m trying to figure out whether this is going to be possible, and would appreciate any pointers. I’ve been asked to set up a system to book fittings for protective equipment (COVID related). There are three constraints: Each booking slot is 30 minutes between 11am-5pm M-S (there is a definitive start and end date) Each booking slot can book access to one or more pieces of equipment (there are 180 individually numbered items in total). Once a piece of equipment has been booked it isn’t available to anyone else that day (they are re-sanitized at 5pm). Hi! I’m trying to make a sign-up form for booking 3 different classes with 3 sessions each. So Airtable would have 9 sessions and 3 classes. The form would have 2 fields: the class and the session. The “class” (linked field) would be prefilled on the form based on the link it came from. But how can I make only the relevant sessions come up as options? In more detail: Class A: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3 Class B: Session 4, Session 5, Session 6 Class C: Session 7, Session 8, Session 9 If Class A is selected, is there any way to filter the options such that only Session 1, Session 2, and Session 3 show up? Maybe another linked field or multiple choice field would be best, though I’m not sure how to do that. Looking for a way to do this without making a view per class. My ideal would be to just have one multi-purpose form that I can prefill. Thank you very much!!

I’m trying to get a stock quote script to work for me. I’m not someone that understands scripts, but I think I have it right. Although something is wrong and not sure what. The API is from financialmodelingprep.com/developer/docs/, which I found mentioned in this forum. My first one is, can I calculate how many days there are from column B e.g. Column A is the date a property was loaded online column B is how many days a property has been online… any help would be appreciated. Hi. I have a daily activity table, which I populate via a form (health tracker). I have several views against this table which show certain types of activity filtered for the last week - which I then use an email automation to send back targeted messages. All works great. However, I don’t know how to respond to inactivity. So if I don’t populate the form for a week (and therefore the table doesn’t have any entries for the last X days, how can I detect this (so that I can automate an email to remind the user to populate it again). Is there something with a max created timestamp, and then a logic check against this? Email automation is focused on a record being created or updated - I can’t think how to automate based on the absence of rows. Hope this makes sense - trying to prove this on my basic plan (for my MVP) before committing to a paid plan. Many thanks for any assistance.

How do I remove collaborators who are grayed out and seem to “come with” a template base? There are a couple templates I am trying to use but extra collaborators cannot be removed. I tried right clicking, I tried left clicking, I tried every other possibility that works in other bases and cannot remove the grayed out collaborators. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Hi all - somewhat daunted by the capabilities here … and so asking if someone can point me in the right direction. My base table is straightforward - just a list of calendar events, grouped into courses. What I want to do though is have something which allows me to populate new groups of events into that table based on some predefined rules associated with each course. For instance, if I were to setup a new course of type X, that might lead to three events being created in the table at +7, +21 +28 days from the start date of the course. Type Y might only have one event at +21 days from the start date etc. There are only a a small number of course types (<10) so needn’t be too complex. However, there are a lot of instances of courses being created. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know how to save multiple documents into a single attachment field in Airtable. My experience has been that when you insert a document, you can only do one at a time. And if you update the attachment field, it will overwrite the existing document. Any suggestions?

Hi there, I have already asked the same question here, only the question was wrong: I have to start from decimals. I don’t find any documentation on how to accomplish this anywhere. I am not an expert in this either. So here’s the question: I have records that contain time formats in decimals, eg: 0.50 (= 30 minutes), 8.00 (= 8 hours) etc. This is a formula field. For a partner I have to convert this to the following format: 1.00 -> 0100 8.00 -> 0800 0.50 -> 0050 0.12 -> 0012 etc. So 4 digits of which the first is a ‘0’. There should be no point in between. Is there a possibility to make some fields editable by unsigned users (guests)? I want to make a wishlist of gifts and let people select which ones they will buy by changing the status of an entry to something like “Taken”. But I think it will be too much to ask people to sign up to airtable just to select one checkbox in the table. Unfortunately in “Edit field permission” there is no such possibility. Are there other ways to do it?

I’ve checked the values, and the naming, and everything is correct. So I can only surmise that you can’t run a search against a formula field? Can anyone help? Drew

I have a table for Ingredients, which is stuff I use to make meals. Meals have many ingredients, ingredients can belong to many meals. Ingredients also are linked to specific Grocery Stores where I like to buy those ingredients. I have a table for Grocery Stores.
