The calendar view in specific table in one of my bases has inexplicably become distorted such that it is impossible to read what appears in the columns for Saturday and Sunday in the month view of a particular calendar. It prints that way too. I normally print this calendar to see all the due dates for my painting commissions, so this has become inconvenient. Other calendars in the same base have been unaffected. I have tried refreshing, logging in and out, switching between day view, week view and back again and duplicating the view. None of those have worked. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to remedy it?

I’m seeing references to a charity discount. How do you apply for that? We are a Canadian non-profit and would like to move to a Pro plan but our budget would benefit from a discount. Thanks.

Is there a way to find out which collaboraters were billed in previous months? We are constantly adding and deleting people, and I the invoice we receive does not give exact details of which collaberators we were billed for, eaxctly who was added etc. Please assist.

Hi again, If I share a base from the share button, I have no problems with collaborators who use a mobile app. What I would REALLY like to do is interface with the shareable, read only, grid view link. That works great on the desktop version and even shows up on a phone through a web browser but NOT through the Airtable App. Thoughts? Suggestions? I’d really like to be able to have my non-editor/owner team members have that flexibility when accessing information. Thanks so much!

All, I’m quickly learning the power of Airtable. As I am developing our base, we are creating views that group fields that are relevant to different users. When we do that, Airtable defaults to adding the summary bar with all numerical fields summed. I love the summary bar but it is rare we need those groups to be summed. So I find myself changing most fields back to “none” from “sum.” If I don’t, it provides misleading and/or nonsensical results. Is there a way to update the default summary bar option to “none?” Thanks, Matt

Is there a way to: • Export all current Airtable contacts to Google Contacts • For each transferred Google Contact, add a “Label” (it’s a tag) for each selected option in an associated Multiple Choice column. • Sync all future additions and changes made in Airtable contacts to Google Contacts.

Hi I have a set of data in BCP format from SQL Server that I’d like to get into Airtable. It would be great if there was a direct mechanism for doing that but I am guessing there isn’t. So, I really need a quick and simple mechanism for taking that data and converting it to CSV. Does anyone have any experience of doing this? Regards Tim

I saw a similar question to this but was not able to get the solution to work. I am creating an inventory base. Column A is the number of days (how often to restock), Column B is the date last stocked, and I’d like Column C to take Column B’s date and add Column A’s number of days to get a new date (when to next order). So if I ordered something on 7/20 and need to order more in 90 days, I’d like the date to reflect 90 days after 7/20. I’ve tried every DATEADD formula I can find. I can’t quite figure it out. My columns are: Date Last Stocked (date) Stock Up Every # Days (#) Date to Stock Next (fx) I currently have DATEADD({Date Last Stocked}, Everything I’ve tried after that results in an error. Would really appreciate some help, thank you!

Today I’m seeing this error on multiple accounts. The failures occur uploading attachments (by URL) with the API and manually. It has similarities to this known issue in that the attachment appears to load into the field and then vanishes a short while thereafter. Anyone else seeing this? UPDATE: And of course, as soon as I posted this, the issue has vanished [again]. All systems are now working. UPDATE #2: Now it is working for manual uploads and failing for API-driven uploads. UPDATE #3: Now both manual and API uploads are working. UPDATE #4: I believe there may be a workaround for this issue, or at least of more precise URL for making such requests into Google Drive f

If I add a record to the table using the API, it is not displayed in the list (via the API). There are 5 records in the table. 3 out of 5 added manually, 2 out of 5 added via API. I am working on an org chart built using the startup org chart template - my base is available here. I am looking to roll up the salaries for everyone who sits below a certain person in an org chart. Is this possible? For example, I want for Tawana Muro in the org chart below I would want a column that has the salaries of everyone contained in the red box. I need to be able to do this for many different levels – for example, I would also want to be able to know the salaries of all of Bonnie’s reports. If helpful, I have already found a way to get the parent and children of each of the employees and I am able to roll-up the salaries for the direct reports. Each of Bonnie’s 4 reports make $100k per year, so you can see that the rollup in column “Children – Total Salary” is $400k tot

Hey everyone, I’m running into a problem adding .ics attachments to an email from an Airtable to Outlook zap. Background: I created a form for an event with different sessions, people can choose up to 10 sessions in the form, and it’ll send a custom schedule with their picked events through Outlook, I formated it so the sessions they don’t pick just look like free space in the schedule, but are still technically present in the zap. Originally I planned to just have the links to the video chat for each session, but the client would like those replaced with an outlook calendar event. I tried adding an .ics file as an attachment in AT, and then putting that into the Zap, but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t look like a multistep zap would work since they want different events for each session chosen, which can be random. Does anyone have a suggestion, or is this not possible? so I guess the basic question boiled down is: how do I add an .ics file, or other outlook calendar

Hello! Does anyone know how to add a table to a block for my Dashboard?

Im having trouble searching on mobile. When I scan my barcode with a 5 digit number, it puts a space after the number. Without the space, it finds the item, but with the space I get no results. It works fine on desktop and I have a similar table in another base which does not do this. the new base I started with the “inventory tracking” template. Any ideas? is it a settings thing? Any advice would help. Thanks.

If there a way to write a formula that queries, basically, IF value X is in column C OR column D, then Y. I just want to be able to filter a base to show only the records where a Name appears in either one of two columns, if that makes sense. I wish the filter options weren’t by default AND, and could show all records that meet one of two filter conditions. Am I overlooking an easy way to do this? Javier

My base is designed to track testing results across multiple applications. All application testing results are housed in a single table with a column to identify which application the test results refer to. We have testers in the field that complete a test form for each test case which writes back to the results table. I am able to create grid views to show the results for each different application. I’d like to create form views on each of these grid views. When I try to limit the record selection to a view, my only option is the standard Grid view. My newly created and filtered grid views are not listed as options. Any suggestions?

I’m modeling a process in a table. Each record is a step in the process, there’s a field “Group” for steps done sequentially as a unit, and a field “Phase” that collects groups done in a particular order. Since it’s a process, it’s important to show the steps in the order in which they must be done in the group and the groups in the order in which they must be done in the phase. I’m adding step records to a grid view and want to show them stacked by group in a kanban view. It seems like by default, the items in a stack are shown in creation order in the table. That means if I figure out a step I forgot in a group, I add it to the grid and manually reorder it to be at the right spot in the grid view. It’s still at the end of the group in the kanban view though, so I’d need to manually reorder it there, too. Given that I’m going to have a bunch of kanban views and that I’m going to have a fair number of editors, I don’t want to trust that everyone will remember to go in

Hi, Airtable folks! I’m having a trouble in setting view description. I am Japanese so I use Japanese alphabet for all of meta settings, such as table names, view names and they work fine. But when it comes to view description, they work fine at first but after a couple of minutes, they suddenly become all question marks like “???”. Does anyone know why this happens? I need a help!!!

Hi community, I’m trying to automatically pull Files uploaded to Salesforce into an Airtable record. Currently, I’m using Zapier to create a record in Airtable every time a Salesforce opportunity moves to Closed Won. When this happens, I have some automation in Salesforce that checks a box on the Opportunity Products which prompts Zapier to create a new Airtable record for each Opportunity Product. The one thing I can’t figure out how to pull in automatically is attachments. We attach the contract to the Salesforce opportunity, and I’d like this to pull into Airtable and attach to the relevant Opportunity Products. Has anyone had luck automatically attaching files using Zapier, Tray.io, or another tool? Thank you!

I have a project management base I’ve built over the years. I store project specific information in a ‘Project’ table, which relates to a ‘Proposals’ table. Each project can have multiple proposals, but each proposal can relate to only one project. Each proposal contains a linked record to an organization in a separate ‘Organization’ table. When I check a proposal as awarded, the record in the ‘Project’ table then displays the corresponding awarded organization (we bid out to several general contractors per project, but only one is awarded). What I am trying to accomplish is a page designer block that is based on the ‘Project’ table but can display the fields from the organization referenced in the awarded proposal, without having to pull in the contractor information into the ‘Proposals’ table and then into the ‘Project’ table. I hope there is a simple solution, but I have not found it yet. @Jeremy_

Inside of my Airtable base I have two fields that log the timestamp when certain fields are updated like this: From there I take the two timestamp fields and calculate the difference, the calculations reveals the time different for a product to move from “status 1” to “status 2” in minutes. With this calculation, I would like to have a conditional SMS message ideally or email if the time difference exceeds a certain threshold. If the above is possible, there are further items I would like to improve upon.
