I am working with a nonprofit that is delivering basic groceries in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, to help fund the nonprofit. Wondering if you could PM me about Openside’s non-profit pricing? We are trying to use a Jotform to take people’s purchase orders (they will later make a bank transfer) and have them autocreate Airtable records in an Airtable inventory management database. Would love to have the orderform automatically pull the product selections from the database as they are added or changed, and also show whether an item is in stock and how many are in stock. Hi! I track employee time using In and Out Date/Time fields and a formula field that calculates total hours. Now I want to see total hours in a chart block, but my Y-axis must be a numeric field. I want to keep seeing In and Out times, so simply entering hour amounts won’t work. Is there another way I can total, look up, or roll up my employee hours in a way that a chart block will read it? Do I need to explore a different type of block? Thanks for any support you’ve got!

Hi, I need help with linking records with forms. I used this product last year to do exactly what I’m trying to do this year with no problems, but I am running into a problem now. I’m trying to make two different forms, and have information from the second form link to the first one. Specifically I would like the entrant’s email address to link to the first form. When I did this last year, the entrant had to fill out their email address on the second form, and then I went into the grid view and linked the records manually. This year, I can only find the option for the entrant to select their email address from the ones that are already listed on the first form. I’m using these forms for summer reading registration at the library where I work. We get about 700 kids registering every year. Allowing anyone with a link to the second form to see the email addresses of everyone who registered on the first form is not an option; it’s a giant invasion of privacy. Is there a way to link

Would Airtable be a good choice to create a Coaching portal? Lets say I have 100 Coaches and each Coach has 50 clients. Data for each client would come from a survey in Typeform and a few course in Thinkific or Teachable. I want to be able to automatically update each client as data comes in from Typeform/Thinkific. Would this work? Anyone ever done anything like this? Thanks!

Our system is setup in EST - however I’ve noticed that when I set up a view with a filter of “Xyz date and time is in 1 day” it shows GMT as the time zone. This is causing issues with emails sending too early - can someone tell me how this time zone can be adjusted? Thanks…

I’m liking an airtable database to a dynamic web page and one of the outputs is a gallery of ‘club members’ - I want the images in the gallery to appear in alphabetical order, so I arranged row by row the data in the airtable spreadsheet; however, in the gallery nothing is in any easy to see order … certainly not alphabetical and not as the rows run in the sheet. Surely the machine doesn’t just spit the information out in any old order??? Does anyone know of a fix for this? Many thanks NM

Hi, I would appreciate help creating Integromat scenario to send gmail, based on criteria from Airtable I want to send gmail to client to days after date (date field). The client should receive email depending on which option is selected in single select field (Email 1 or Email 2). Table design is as follow; Client email is in Clients table. Hello there :slightly_smiling_face: I am using Integromat to import values from contact form to Airtable. In Airtable I have two tables Clients and Inquires and when contact form is submitted data is stored in both tables. I manage to set up Integromat to store data in new row in Inquiry and Client tab and to link records together. What I am trying to achieve is create new client tab only if the client with same email does not already exist. If there is a client record with same email, the inquiry should be linked to that record. Note; The primary field in Clients tab is “Client Name” and “Client email” is email field in Clients tab. The contact form does not have Name as required field and if name is not provided Integromat creates “Add name” linked record (This is the case in current scenario and it should remain that way if there is no client with existing email.) I would appreciate suggestions on how to achieve this.

We are trying to get a better understanding of Airtable and its possible usage. We are a nonprofit that offers events, supports students going to college, has donors/sponsors, and has people that have more general usage of our services and more specific usage of our services. Are there any other small non profits that use this tool with these type of uses? Can you tell me about your experience (do you have to custom build this to work for you or was it ready to go at start, who did you have build if needed, how many people do you have adding this, how easy is it enter data and manage the data etc I am also wanting to better understanding creating and pulling reports. It would appear that the ‘Date’ field does not record seconds. Here’s why I think this: Here are the formulas I’m using to expose this: DATETIME_FORMAT({Date (no secs?)}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) DATETIME_FORMAT({Created Time}, ‘DD-MM-YYYY h:mm:ss’) I hope I’m wrong about this. I need to be able to grab seconds from a ‘Date’ record.

I have created a simple contract tracing app using two tables, each with a form view. The first records the name and contract details of the visitor. On submission, form 1 redirects to form 2, prefilling a sign-out field with {record_id}. I would like to also pass the visitor’s name to form 2 for the sake of clarity. Is this possible?

Hi so I’m trying to show a card with minimal info then allow a viewer (via an embed link on my webpage) to be able to click the ‘card’ and expand view to show MORE details. All I am seeing is the fields visible are displayed on the CARD aswell as in the expanded view instead of minimal data on card and MORE data in expanded view. Please help me, community!

Someone added me as a Base Collaborator with Editor permissions. I accepted the invite from the invite email. But I don’t see where to access the shared Base. I’ve researched and found reference to a “Bases Shared with Me” section that’s supposed to appear in my list of Workspaces. But it’s not there. Help please. Thanks!

Hi! I want to add a formula that does the following: If “created on” is within the last week OR “revisit on” is today, then TRUE (i.e. check a box or write true in a text field). “Created on” and “revisit on” are both date fields. This way, I can better filter my view (my filter includes both “and” and “or” conditions, which is why I need to use a formula). Thank you!!

Hello! I linked Process St with google sheets, and google sheets with airtable. From Process St, the data is transferred to Google sheets, and to Airtable this data is not transferred, but although everything works in Zapier What to do? Where could the problem be?

I am trying to have a zap find a record based on an email address and then update the record. Unfortunately, the Find Record zap finds the record ID and everything else, except the Base and Table IDs. So when I try to add an Update Record zap, it can’t find it because it requires the Base and Table IDs for the record. I happen to have the Base and Table IDs in an Excel table, but the Update Record doesn’t find the record that way either. I’m assuming I need the Base and Table ID to be found on the Find Record zap or the Update Record to use the Base and Table IDs from the Excel table. I’ve been emailing support for months now and it has not been resolved.

Hey all! I am new and just playing around with Airtable. So far it’s been really great and simple! However, when I try to link tables, I’m not sure where I’m going wrong but they data is not linking to the correct item and instead I am getting extra columns and it’s getting slightly confusing. The concept isn’t difficult so what am I missing haha! I know there are a few other questions about this but if someone wouldn’t mind looking at my base, that’d be cool! Hey Airtable Community. Does anyone know how to count how many entries are made on a particular date ie if I had 5 forms completed today and 4 yesterday I’d love a column to autocount. It would be amazing to count the week too. Each form is a lead and I want to set targets and automate my results. Help appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I work for a youth engagment organisation. We have a community of several hundred young people in our network, and we put on various events and workshops throughout the year. I’d like to know which events young people are attending over a 12 month period, and I am hoping to use Airtable to do this. I plan to do this by having a ‘community’ sheet with an email address as a unique ID and a ‘projects sheet’ with an attendee field which links to the email field in the community sheet. I’d like to create a form which people can put their email address into on arrival at an event, and if they are already in our base it will auto populate the rest of the fields, and if not, allow them to create a new record, assigned against that particular event. Is this possible? Thanks so much for your help!
