I am creating an application using an AirTable form. We are asking applicants to rank their availability preference for five single select choices. Since there is no ranked choice voting option available on AirTable currently, my workaround is to create five single select fields (questions in the form) with the same answers in each drop down. It's a little cumbersome.The functionality I'd like is, for each descending selection, the choice(s) made previously to be removed from the list (Ex: If Monday at 5pm was the #1 choice, then I'd like that choice to be removed from the 2nd choice question and so on). This would make it more user-friendly and avoid duplicate days/times being selected.I've a feeling this isn't possible quite yet but, if anyone has a workaround or better option for ranked choice voting in AirTable forms, please let me know. I have a field called ID, and it's an autonumber field.  I cannot get it to display in my email.  I've tried creating a formula field with it, too, with some prepended text and tried adding &"", too, which was suggested somewhere.  I can add the Airtable record ID with no problem and other formula fields and have them included in the text of the email.  But anything I do with my ID field will not show up in the email.  The test data does have an ID in the ID field and a value in the ID Text formula field.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hello,I'm a beginner when it comes to using formulas. This is my first time using a formula with conditions. Im looking to display a message when employee's reach our milestone years of service to the company. I know Im close, but its not working. Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong here? How would I display the sum of this column and make it such that every time a new record was added the sum is updated with the new information so that it is usable information on softr?

Our main People table is linked to a Work History table that shows the date and position of each shift worked. I want a field in the People table to show only the most recent date that a person worked. Lookup fields do that, of course, but return all of the shift records for each person. TIA!UPDATE: The date of the shift worked is stored as text.

FolksI have created a database with several peoples details. On it, I have also created a view which will take a filter text like this:https://airtable.com/VIEWLINK?filter_FIELD=FIRSTNAME%20LASTNAMEand then send it to the specific FIRSTNAME/LASTNAME person, who does not have any airtable account as a normal shareable link, so they can access their data.The problem I am facing with is that as the controls of the view are available, the view can be filtered with different values and people can see each others details.I see that on the EMBED version of the view, I have the option "viewControls", but it does not work if I use it on a normal share view.Is there a way to prevent a view to be re-filtered? Hey guys,I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for moving elements around more smoothly? At the moment when I try to move record elements in grids they rearrange everything in ways I wasn't intending.For example: I have a section on my interface for Important Links that are pulled from different fields that I want to lay out in a particular way. And when moving them into positions from this : To attempting to get all the elements aligned it does this:Does anyone now of a way to maybe lock locations of elements or grid or something to just make moving things around smoother? 

Take the example below, imagine you have:Category.ProductsProduct.CategoryA product is linked to multiple categories. When you first create the 'Category' field on Product, this creates the other side on Category, lets call it "Products".  If you delete the column "Products" from the Category, is it possible to re-link them later on?Also, if you do not think one will ever need the "many" side of the relationship - does it slow AirTable down if you keep that many-side Field as well? Or it does not make a difference? 

I'm rounding up a field called "Total Hours" using ROUNDUP(). Total Hours is a field that adds 2 decimal numbers together. The decimals numbers have up to 3 decimal places.My understanding is that ROUNDUP({Total Hours}, 2) works like this: it will round up to 2 decimal places if any number after the 2nd decimal place is above 0.Example ROUNDUP(72.001, 2) = 72.01                ROUNDUP(72.000,2) = 72.00The screenshot below shows that this is not what is happening for me.It's rounding up 72.000 to 72.01. In the screenshot, the error fields are circled in red. The original total hours are in the right most field and the rounded hours are on the left field "(Total Hours Rounded ,2)"Any help is appreciated for this.

Hi there,I'm new to the Airtable Community and was hoping someone here might shed some light on a script I'm trying to implement. I am receiving data from a third party form via an AT Webhook. I need to concatenate the image path (ImgPath) submitted from the form when it includes an attachment to create a full URL and then update the PhotoURL field which is set as an attachment in the current record in my AT table . Hi everyone, I am not sure if what I'm trying to do is even possible, but hopefully it is!I am improving my office's Airtable and I have two sheets, for simplicity we will call them "Places Sheet" and "People Sheet" (these are what the records under each are). Under the People sheet, I have a column where one or more Places are linked when relevant. Now, I would like a column in the Places Sheet that shows me which People (ideally through a Linked Record) have that Place as a linked record on the People Sheet. So, in effect, when Record A from the People Sheet links to Record B from the Places Sheet in a specific field, Record B also links back to Record A.I could go through and do this for each individual, but some People have more than one Place linked to them, and there's well over 1000 records under the People Sheet and over 300 records under the Places Sheet, so I'm really hoping I can automate this process.

I have an automation where I first create a list of records and sort them by priority, then I put them into a repeating group to run scripts on them one at a time. But, it seems as though the repeating group will run those functions with multiple items being processed at a time, not one at a time.  Is there a workaround so that I can process the items within a list one at a time in the repeating group? Thanks!

I have a structure, similar to the below simplified version:EndOfMonthReportsClientIdDatePayoutsEndOfMonthReportIdBookingsEndOfMonthReportId ExpensesEndOfMonthReportIdPayouts, Bookings, Expenses all fit the template whereby they all have a Date, Description and Amount. They all have very distinct fields, so I dont believing merged them all into one table would make sense. Each of these entry in a way effects the client's account balance, either with a positive transaction, or a negative transaction. I would like to be able to generate a report, where one can get an account statement per client, for a particular time period.  What this would do is if you say generate it from Jan 23 - Jun 23, it would get all the end of month reports within that date, and show a list of all these distinct transactions, in the form of:01/01/2023 | Booking | Reservation from 1 - 10 January | +70010/01/2023 | Expense | Management Fee | -20030/01/2023 | Payout | End of Month for June | -500...

I'm getting an invalid Switch formula, even though it's super simple.I have several columns of singular date fields. Each date field is a milestone. I'm writing a simple Switch formula to check if Today() = one of the date fields, then if so say the column's name.I've simplified this formula to it's most basic to evaluate against itself and I'm still getting an invalid formula. hi all - reached out to airtable support directly but they honestly never answer and suck tbh so i figured hopefully someone can help me here ( I even got a email asking me to rate the help given by a support agent when I had zero contact with anyone) Anyways.I embdedded my table into my webflow website, but there are TWO worksheets within the worksheet. On my webflow website it only shows one. Beginning on 8/7/2023, when entering a new record in my application’s Interfaces, I noticed that the CREATE button has disappeared from the ADD RECORD Form.  Verified that all of my Interfaces are impacted as well.  Also, all databases.  I have submitted an Issue Ticket to Airtable Support.Any ideas as to the cause?  Am I overlooking something?  Is this a bug introduced with Airtable’s latest release?  Any recommendations?

Good day.There's an issue across the board when it comes to creating new records. It used to be that a person would fill the details and then click on the "x", which would create a record. This no longer works.Now it shows a 'create' button when the Interface is in the Edit Mode but doesn't appear when published? This is a big problem since no-one can create records via the Interface Designer!    

Hi,I have a table where people insert new records through an Interface, one of these columns needs to be unique.My issue is that i cannot stop people from inputting the same data by mistake through Airtable's Interfaces (so for example they need to fill the form  with "12345", but they write "21345" by mistake, and "21345" is already there in the database), so i want to catch this duplicate's existence afterwards by sending an email and performing other operations when it happens.Do you know if this can be done?

Hello Airtable Community, I hope all is well! I am having trouble with creating a running total formula/script. In the first table called "General Monthly KPIs" there is a field linking to the "Transactions" table with the dates, month and year, and the amounts of each transaction. There is a rollup field in the General Monthly KPIs table that calculates the monthly burn of each month. How can I create a running total field? Hello, I'm trying to return the date in a field based on the urgency selected in another field. For example, if the urgency is "As soon as possible" the date should return today's date which I'm able to get with TODAY() formula. However, I couldn't manage to get next week's date with TODAY() + 7 as I would do in Excel. What is the correct formula would be for that? Thank you!

I need a way to combine them both into one table so that table 3 is as follows:Lead Source# Matter(s)Total ($)I believe the best way to do this is to create records, but I'm not sure. In addition to combining the data from two tables into one, I also need the data to stay consistent (i.e. Client Name on matters table and bills table combine into one data set on 3rd table so that Lead Source and Matters can be "associated" with them.)If anyone knows of a way to approach this, I would appreciate the help. I'm trying to find the average of a Ratings field for a product using a rollup.Based on the docs this should work: ROUND(AVERAGE(values), 2) However, I still only get whole numbers back. How can I see the result to two decimal places using a rollup?

Hi. I couldn't find any specific information related to this. We are currently looking into possible options to conver a Google-Sheets based system to something more thorough.  We want to make sure we do not hit any walls later on in the future, once the system starts to grow. For the Pro plan, there is a 100k automations limit per month.  If you perform automations outside of AirTable, using Make or Zapier, for example watching rows and then updating rows based on certain conditions - would these count towards AirTable automation limit? My intuition would tell me no, but I would prefer to be certain about this - as that way I know we always have a plan B if we hit the limit.
