Hi there, I have an email automation that is set to send an email 1 day prior to an appointment date. The date conditions are simply based off of date, not time. Do you know what time the email should expect to trigger?Thanks!

Hi all,I have read up that Airtable inserts double quotes if there are commas in the contents of the array, and I have seen reference to removing them by using either Substitute or Regex_Replace, but I have an IF statement and no idea how/where to put either to make it work (I'm new to formulas and they are def not my strong suit!)This is my formula:  IF({Inspection}=BLANK(),{Art}&" ("&{Condition}&")", {Art}&" ("&{Condition}&" "&DATETIME_FORMAT({Inspection},'YYYY-MM-DD')&")") Which gets me: "A11.05/003a Joanna Staniszkis (Artist), Marta W. Suchy (Artist); Summer Kites" (Damage Inspection 2023-07-26) If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it much. TIA!

Address line 1 Address line 2 Address line 3 City Country Postcode Is there a way of creating one Question on the Form (ie Address) that bring up those fields as answer boxes to that question? I'm trying to use the datetime_diff formula to configure a field similar to the ootb duration field in Smartsheet, but in Airtable.I have a start-date and and end-date field. My goal is to have a duration field show the number of days between the start and the end dates.Here are my constraints. 1) I want to be able to show only weekdays. 2) If the start date and the end date are the same I want the duration to equal 1, not 0.Any suggestions?

Hi all !I've a concatenation formula wich works fine with all number but the 7%...That's crazy.... When I put 7% somewhere my formula return 7.0000000000001%... My fields are all in percent (precision 1%) but the concatenation field is in text format.There's nothing in my formula about the number 7 or else that could launch this error...Any idea ? >Thanks !

Need Help please.I have decided to record my workout sessions on Airtable, and I want to customize the "Set" field depending on the "Type" field. My goal is to format "Set" to duration when the "Type" is "Dead Hang". Otherwise, "Set" format will be number.I have tried this formula, but I am getting an error message saying "circular reference". Can anyone help me with this?Thank you

So I found a formula someone else made that does exactly what I need it to do.  I need to display the dates of certain events as "week of" so I can group the event by the week and see how many posts are made during the week.  The problem with the formula is it makes the "week of" appear as Apr 3, 2023, when I need it to say 04/03/2023.  The formula is:  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(Date,1-DATETIME_FORMAT(Date,'E'),'day'),'ll') Can someone help me out?  Thanks! (Field on the left is the date of event, field on right is the "week" formula)

Is this possible?I've copied the 'Embeded Code" given by airtable into my automation but when receiving the slack notification, the form does not show. Is this possible? 

Hi!I have a date field and a formula field (today MINUS date field) and another formula field that countdown (3 MINUS subtraction between today and date field) - I included photo of these fields. This is because the customs allows only 3 days for import the product. So I want an alert (countdown from when the customs contacted me that the product is at the customs).Now I want to add another date field (let's call it date field #2).I want automation (or formula field) that when I enter date in date field #2, formula field stops the countdown. Is it possible to do that with automation or another formula field? And also, how it's done? 🙂Thanks a lot guys!

I'm wondering if there's a way to allow users configure fields from within an interface? e.g., my use case is that a certain user needs to be able to adjust Kanban columns on the fly by changing available values in a single-select field. They could do this easily in a regular Kanban view in the base, but is it possible to do this somehow in an interface?

Hello, I was curious if it’s possible for a formula to return the Day of the Week from Date Field? So, if my Date field reads, “9/27/2022,” is it possible for a formula to understand that this date is, “Tuesday?” Thanks.

hello!i'm trying to send emails via the outlook automation. everything works like a charm, apart from the emails not arriving at all. so it doesn't work at all 😞 unless the receipient of the mail is an address with the same domain as the one i am sending from, that seems to work. but if i try to send to a gmail address, i simply never receive the email. does anyone have any idea why this might be? very sad.

Hi,I am stuck with the following (most probably simple) problem -I am getting a records list of a tableI am filtering the list acc to 3 criteria (name, type, date) this all works fine, I log a correctly filtered object in the consolethen I want to get the value of the column with the name „tac_descr“ (variable set at the beginning of the script) of the found object/row.This should be done in the „active_descr“ definitionPls see the error in the console; no clue what is wrong; I have the correct object filtered (active_immo_tacs) and I just want to display the cell value of the column „tac_descr“ of „active_immo_tacs“. Could anyone pls help me on that? thank you very much - I am now trying to solve this since hours…

Hello, I would like to create a CRM from an existing customer list, with an event management function.In particular I have: a "customer" table and an "event" table.Customers must register for the event by submitting a form (which inserts data into the "event" table). When the customer already exists, a tag is created into the "customers" table referring to the event. Or in any case a link between the "customers" table and the "list" table.Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

So I know how to create and restore from a Snapshot.As I understand it, I can rename the restored snapshot with the name of the old (corrupted, that's why I'm restoring) Base, and go on my way.But wait! All the links, forms, and sharing relate to the old base (of course)! So I have to reshare the new Base with all those folks, update links to the Base anywhere they exist, and give people with links to the old Forms, Views, etc, new links. What a pain!Am I missing something? Is there a better way?

I must be missing something but can't find a way to change this. I have a standard lookup field with a capability to link to new records. When I'm adding a new  record via new record creation form I can only see the IDs of each field:However for the exactly same field, when I edit existing record and click that same field I get this. How do I get similar view when adding a new record so that I can see additional details for each item.    

I will be using Make to update a table with information gathered in the field. This includes new photos of assets. There should be only one photo in the attachment field, with all old photos stored in a separate field. I don't want to just replace the original attachment, as these photos are still needed. I want to be able to do the following:Upload the new photo into an attachment field ("Photo") using Make.Once the photo is uploaded, the previous attachment is moved to the "Old Photos" field. This field can have more than one photo stored in it.Is there a way to achieve this using scripting or some other tool?

Hi,I'd like to ask people more advanced than me to see if there is a way to do this.I have 2 tables: a Contact one and an Articles one.Each one has a multiselect field that hold the same data: Contacts select their interest (i.e. Sport, Tourism, etc) and Articles are tagged based on their topic (Sport, Tourism, etc).What I would like is to find the Articles for each Contact: a match would be considered if at least one of the Contact's interest matches at least one of the Article topics.I found a way to do this via code in a script, but scripts have limitations and I have around 5k contacts and around 10-20 articles to search for. Ideally I would like to do this with formulas or linked records or something in the UI.Otherwise I'll just resort to Make.com.Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas!Thanks,Stefano

I’m following up on a previous solution ScottWorld provided for another user. I apologize if there’s a better way to link to the old closed post. Anyway, the goal is to Automate the END TIME based on START TIME, and DURATION. The formula Scott suggested was: DATEADD({Start Time}, {Duration}, ‘minutes’) When I put this Formula into the END TIME formula field exactly as is, and the DURATION field empty, the END TIME is automatically set to 5 hrs after the START TIME. When I enter “3:00” (3 hrs) into the DURATION field, the END TIME is automatically set to 7 Days and 20 Hrs later. Obviously, I’m misunderstanding something.

I want to set up various automations with reminders (slack messages) or updates for the team but not spam them with an overload of updates.So far I only found how I can trigger Slack messages for a certain trigger but I want to avoid sending a message for each trigger.How could I "collect" all messages for one user and only send them a slack update e.g. once per day/week, with every update this person was mentioned in or task status changes that are relevant for that person?Thank you very much 🙂
